Dackels Krohne in Celle

We are currently out here as my partner works in the area. This lovely cute place is about 5 minutes walk away from us. It's a lovely pub with amazing food. Best bit of steak iv had was in here. Staff are all friendly and the owners are such lovely couple. We love this pub. The people that comes in are all lovely and friendly too. They always trying to teach us German too which is great. If you are in area this is definitely the best pub. We love it. Come to think of it. Think might just go there for a meal tonight. No cooking. 😃 Jennie and Dave

I've been living in Celle for 20 years, but I've never eaten here before. Excellent cuisine and a thick menu. Like every other guest, I can only recommend it. This definitely won't be my last visit

We were in this location as a group (company Christmas party). The large room at the back was comfortably furnished and everything was ready. The first round of drinks went relatively quickly. When the soup was brought we noticed that there were no spoons. Unfortunately it took a while for them to arrive and the soup was then cold or only lukewarm because there was one on the warming plate. The main course was meat platters with vegetables. The meat was not at all satisfactory, only lukewarm and everything was dry except for the schnitzel. The beef was very tough and inedible, which was a shame. The other drinks orders were sometimes quite slow, were forgotten or had to be bought first. In the end, the desserts were good. Unfortunately we had hoped for more from the location, which was a shame.

Unfortunately our Christmas dinner was a failure. The Christmas card was presented to us and unfortunately no changes were desired. The dessert that was available was with a wine sauce, making it unsuitable for children and pregnant women. It's sad that they didn't think about it. I ordered a duck breast with red cabbage and potato dumplings. It was potatoes instead of dumplings, which can happen. When I asked, I got the dumplings I wanted. It was unfortunate that the dumplings were ice cold on the inside and therefore inedible. When the waiter finally appeared, he showed no reaction and simply walked away. In general he was very unpleasant... The red cabbage was seasoned with star anise and had nothing to do with classic red cabbage. Unfortunately the duck breast wasn't completely tender. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Dackels Krone because it wasn't the first time that we left the table disappointed and hungry because the food didn't taste good, wasn't quite cooked or was still ice cold on the inside.

Went there for Christmas dinner. Service perfect as always. The food first class. ☺️ The price for this beautiful Christmas dinner was great.👍

We were very disappointed. Our Christmas party had to be canceled because the restaurant didn't have room for us. Even though it was booked weeks ago. Alternatively, they had us, 19 people Outdoor seating offered. What a disgrace!

I can't even give one star. Table for Christmas party ordered with confirmation. Place your food order in advance. We had to give up double occupancy...as we were only offered a place in the winter garden. It was drafty everywhere, it was cold and very unclean. There was still dirt on the tables from the last meal. We were greeted very unfriendly and the conversation with the gentlemen was also very unfriendly.

The service from the two young gentlemen really leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately the vegetables were cold and hard. Meat delicious, unfortunately the steak was not asked whether rare, medium...

Very tasty, large portions at fair prices. If you are looking for good, home-style, down-to-earth cuisine, this is probably the best restaurant Celle has to offer. Absolutely recommended!!!

Immer wieder super. Jedes Essen wird frisch zubereitet. Warme Küche durchgehend. Sehr empfehlenswert! Man kann hier immer gut und preiswert bei urigen Ambiente essen.

Unreasonable waiting times: It took about 20 minutes for drinks to be requested, but they were served immediately. After asking several times when the order would be taken, the order was taken after another 30 minutes. We waited another 30 minutes for the food! So we waited over an hour from entering the restaurant until the food was served! The rump steak was not medium rare but partly bloody.

Although we registered with a large group a long time ago. And even though we reminded us in advance, the reservation had been forgotten. Thanks for nothing! Gladly never again.

Locale affollatissimo, e siamo a metà settimana. Location assurda. le sale si rincorrono senza logica. C'è anche une sterno. Camerieri indaffaratissimi, non ci danno retta. Per caso passo davanti al banco mentre cerco un tavolo e il barista mi urla contro. Mia moglie che sa il tedesco spiega. Finalmente letteralmente troviamo noi un tavolo. Dopo parecchio tempo riusciamo a ordinare. Ottima la birra non bavarese. Prendo del roastbeef, fatto in casa. Buono. Mia moglie si prende una patata di quelle farcite con creme e formaggi come solo in Germania. Soddisfatta. Bene in cibo, ma servizio lento e poco cortese. Prezzi un po' cari, ma a Celle è così.

Goed restaurant met een vriendelijk bediening. De eigenaar kwam nog langs om te vragen of we tevreden waren. Dat waren we. Porties zijn echter veel te groot. Typisch Duits maar wel lekker. Wijn en biet zijn ook goed. En de prijs…. Zeer goedkoop!

Gezellig in de biertuin, zeer goede sfeer,Heerlijk gegeten, alles vers, bediening super aardig. Echte aanrader hier komen we zeker nog terug!

I am from a service company and the boss and owner made an appointment for a service today. Unfortunately there was no one on site at the beginning except for a few craftsmen. Nice, rustic restaurant with a quiet and very nice outdoor terrace. The service was very friendly and quick. Food top value for money. The raw roulade was something completely different and really tasty. It was gone so quickly, no chance for a photo 😋 We would always go here again if we were in Celle again.

We came here to try the local speciality "Celler Rohe Roulade". It was very good. Service was fine, but I did think the belt buckle one of the servers were wearing was inappropriate. (The flag of the Army of Northern Virigina, a.k.a. Stars and Bars). I do recommend this restaurant, though.

Dit eten is echt niet goed. We hebben zo lang moeten wachten op ons eten 2u!! We vroegen steeds waar het bleef maar ze zeiden dat het zo snel ging komen wat dus niet waar is! Ga niet hier eten als je niet wilt lang wachten.

Me and my family decided to come here to eat and we needed to wait for TWO hours! This is not okay! The people also weren’t the nicest. Not really a place to go if you want to grab a nice dinner because you might have to wait two hours like us! Do better!

If one is looking for a really nice German restaurant with traditional German food then Dackels Krohne is a great option. Super staff (speak very well English) with delicious food. Highly recommended.

We never expected such good food in our lives. Nice service, quick service even though every table outside was occupied. Incredibly good schnitzel, as well as the fries, croquettes and fried potatoes. A really big portion for today! We will be back definitely

The Schnitzel Förster style was just not good. The hunter's sauce tastes of glutamate and artificial. The sauce is poured over the schnitzel and the whole thing is baked with cheese. Then you can save yourself the breading on the schnitzel. I find an easily solvable problem that a chef could know. the fried potatoes seemed more like the leftovers from the pan. Greasy, too dark and not particularly appetizing. Nevertheless, you eat up for this price. 18.90 hefty for what you get.

It wouldn't even be worth one star. Unfortunately, we had to experience an underground performance here. As residents of the district, we finally wanted to try the food that is so often praised. This did not happen. After sitting down in the restaurant, we got our drinks after about 20 minutes. We ordered two schnitzels at the same time. After we still had no food after 1 hour, we asked nicely whether our order might have been lost. There was no response. After another 20 minutes we asked again. Then they said it would be there soon. After another 15 minutes and therefore 1 hour 35 minutes after ordering for 2 schnitzels. We got up, paid for our drinks and left. As we walked, two other tables who had been sitting there for a while told us that they would also wait for the food. So I can't rate the food, which I no longer want to do with such service. Oh, we got the feedback from the kitchen... Table 25 has now ALSO gone.

Obviously a traditional house. The beer garden is not very attractive due to construction work. The service seems somewhat disorganized, but polite. For lunch I had carpaccio, which was good except for the fact that it didn't come with any olive oil. In the evening I tried the raw roulade. It wasn't mine. The quality of the meat was very good, but the taste was completely masked by the classic ingredients used such as mustard, onion, salt and pepper. Since I “only” ordered it as a starter, bread was served with it. That tasted excellent.

We stopped there for lunch and it looked very inconspicuous from the outside. But we were very surprised by the offer and prices. The courtyard with seating was very comfortable. The next time we go on holiday there we would love to come back there.

Tolles Traditionshaus in Celle am Altstadtrand. Nicht direkt in der Touristenmeile gelegen. Rustikal mit schönem Biergarten. Mehrer Biere vom Faß. Und eine tolle Speisekarte. Sehr leckeres Essen, frisch zubereitet. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Sehr aufmerksam. Wir dachten, im Biergarten ist kein Tisch mehr frei, aber rucki zucki wurde etwas umgbaut und wir hatten auch noch einen Tisch! Top Kundenservice. Auch das restliche Personal kompetent und sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistungsverhöltnis passt sehr gut. Fazit! Jederzeit gerne wieder!!

By chance we ended up in the restaurant "Dackels Krohne" while we were passing through and tried, among other things, the raw roulade. We didn't know the dish before and were pretty excited about it. It tasted excellent, as did the baked Schnitzel Caprese. The service was very courteous and attentive and the beer garden is cozy. All in all, a well-rounded affair.

Waited over an hour for food on a Sunday with a small hungry child!

I made a request for a table reservation via the homepage for last Thursday. There is a contact form specifically for this purpose. Unfortunately, I have not received an answer to this until today (Sunday). Of course, we didn't show up there under these conditions. Very annoying. Of course the spam folder was also monitored and is empty... If I already offer such a service, I should process the requests there too.
