The food is really delicious. Warning: The sauces are spicy...

Food was tasty but the meat was a bit dry/ overcooked. Very limited dessert options, only one dish. Good service, the waiter was very attentive and friendly. No cards accepted, only cash!! Not even EC Karte! I'd rate it 3.5 starts, but it's not possible.

Everything here tastes so good. The portions are really big, you'll be more than full, the different types of meat are super tender and really well seasoned. You can taste the love in the food. The staff and the owner are super friendly. Anyone who wasn't there honestly missed something.

Wonderful Ethiopian/eritrean food. We were on the way from Austria to the Netherlands and took a detour for this. Suffice to say we will make a detour the next time we are anywhere remotely close.

If you like East African cuisine or want to try it out, this is the perfect place. The food is A1 and the service is friendly and accommodating. So, just visit and be amazed.

Best Eritrean restaurant in the greater Frankfurt area!

What I particularly liked about the restaurant were the traditional plates and bowls, which gave the whole ambience an authentic cultural touch. This makes the restaurant stand out from the rest and conveys a real East African flair. The food was also very convincing. As a starter we had injera (looked like a spicy pancake), which tasted very good. The typical East African beers and soft drinks were served in wooden bowls, creating an authentic cultural ambience and significantly enriching the experience The main course consisted of a wide paella-sized mixed plate with various meat dishes, all of which tasted good. Dessert was baked bananas with vanilla ice cream – a sweet ending that was also delicious.

The food and service are a 10 out of 10. You feel comfortable, the facility is clean and well-kept and the food tastes really delicious and the service is very friendly and warm. Every need is addressed. If I eat injera then only there. I'm happy to drive over half an hour for this. It's just worth it. They are people with hearts who cook and work there. And you can taste that in their food.

I've been eating at Daaro for three years. It's worth a trip every time. During this time you feel like you are on vacation. The food is excellent, a feast for the palate even without meat. Simply delicious. The staff is simply friendly and you have an all-round feel-good package. I can only recommend everyone to start this short trip to Africa in Neu-Isenburg.

The tasting plate with different types of meat was outstanding! The variety of flavors and spices made each dish unique. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Unfortunately, the lack of card payment options was a major downside, which somewhat dampened the overall experience. Therefore I deducted one star, but the restaurant is still worth a visit.

We visited Daaro spontaneously because we come from out of town. I can only confirm the top rating 100%, the food tastes better than ever, it is extremely clean and we particularly liked the hospitality. The prices are reasonable and we also liked the location. We will definitely come back!

This dish appears to be a traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean meal served on injera, a type of sourdough flatbread made from teff flour. The various components include: **Kitfo**: The red minced meat in the center is likely kitfo, a popular Ethiopian dish made from raw minced beef, seasoned with spices such as mitmita and niter kibbeh (a spiced clarified butter). **Tibs**: The sautéed meat strips on either side of the kitfo are probably tibs, which are pieces of beef or lamb sautéed with onions, peppers, and other spices. -**Salad**: There is also a small portion of fresh salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Injera serves as both a plate and an edible utensil, used to scoop up the various dishes. The small bowls on the side might contain extra sauces or condiments to complement the meal.

When it comes to Eritrean cuisine, dishes served on the flatbread “Injera” are highly recommended. We decided and ordered Zilzil and Zigni. Kitfo is particularly recommended, a taste experience. Perfectly balanced dishes with good spiciness. The food is prepared in a typical regional manner. For the full experience you should simply forego the cutlery; Here you can also eat with your fingers. The portions were more than generous. We ate our fill. Had to comment again with a different account a year later (after my first visit). We are now regulars and eat here at least once every 6 weeks. Everything is really great: ambience, service and of course the food. Of course the food isn't served within 10 minutes but that's normal. Everything isn't served warmed up but fresh ;) We always take the vegan platter and are always super full afterwards. The owner is really incredibly nice and I'm so happy that Daaro is so well received!! I recommend it to everyone and everyone is really happy with it. ❤️

Einfach nur schön. Man wird sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte ist vorallem auch für Veganer optimal, aber auch die Fleischesser kommen nicht zu kurz. Die Gedecke waren sehr besonders und auch das Ambiente einfach zum wohlfühlen. Wir waren mit der gemischten veganen und Fleisch Platte komplett zufrieden und perfekt satt. We've been living in Stuttgart, Germany for almost three years now, and during our travels to different countries and places, we always make it a point to try various cuisines. I often find myself searching for my home country's food. Today, a friend of mine recommended a place, and we finally discovered an excellent Habesha restaurant in Frankfurt. We ordered a variety of dishes, and to our surprise, everything was incredibly delicious. For those who are in search of authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine, I highly recommend trying out Darro restaurant. A big shoutout to the talented chefs and the owner for doing such an outstanding job. They've truly impressed us with their culinary skills.

Extrem leckeres Essen in nettem Ambiente mit sehr netter Bedienung. Das einzige Manko war die sehr lange Dauer bis das Essen dann tatsächlich kam. Wenn man sich darauf aber einstellt, ist es die Wartezeit durchaus wert.
