I had a fantastic vegan curry at Da Nang in the market hall at Essen Central Station. I've rarely eaten such a good curry. It was a fantastic taste experience. Everything was super fresh, lovingly prepared, and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back.

A truly outstanding Vietnamese restaurant – delicious, meticulously presented food, large portions, and excellent value for money! Whether it was pho, duck, curry chicken, mango salad, or the summer rolls – everything was delicious, accompanied by a delicious kumquat lemonade and standard, tasty aloe vera juice. Only the kimchi was a bit undercooked and needed a bit more time. We paid a total of €105 for four people for excellent food in decent portions. The service was also wonderfully attentive, very friendly, and prompt! We would definitely come back here again – we highly recommend it!

Very good asian food 🙌 Spicy, but Europeans friendly. Fresh and crunchy veggies, delicious but not artificial sauces. I would take more care of the ambience. The place is okay but could be a bit more cozy and welcoming especially the garden part.

The food and my drink were good, although I got yellow Thai curry instead of red. The curry was very similar to the one at "Gao." The homemade iced tea was a bit small, but refreshing and delicious. The appetizers were very good, but the interior and menu could still be improved. Second visit: The wontons are also similar to Gao's, but a little less moist and flavorful. The iced tea was again very good, and the curry was tasty, but the vegetables in the curry weren't really cut into bite-sized pieces.

It's really nice outside in the beer garden. I highly recommend the drink with kumquats. Crispy duck is always great, too.

The location is an old pub, but the pretty pictures give it a sense of Vietnam. There were four of us there, so we were able to try out the menu to our heart's content. The starters were very tasty with summer rolls, spring rolls, and wonton soup, definitely not your average Chinese takeaway. The main courses were also all beautifully presented and had a special flavor that wasn't your usual Asian fare. We had Pho soup, fried Udon noodles with duck and a very tasty sauce, and chicken with a very good peanut sauce. Our four-year-old son had the crispy chicken strips and a bowl of rice, and he was very happy (especially after the Mochi ice cream ^^). We will definitely be back. All at a very fair price. So the place was quite busy, and rightly so, even on a Monday. Reservations are apparently recommended.

We went there today for the fifth time. We went spontaneously and without a reservation on a Friday evening. After really good and quick service inside, we even got a seat outside a few minutes later. The service was, as always, super attentive and polite. The food has always been hot and incredibly delicious! Our absolute favorite place for Vietnamese cuisine! The atmosphere is absolutely inviting, super cozy, and lovely! Highly recommended! ☺️

It was my first time in Da Nang and I was very satisfied. The food was very good, the staff were nice, especially the young lady with the glasses was really friendly. Ambience rustic but cozy. The only criticism is that the portions can be a bit larger.

The food was very tasty, portions were fine and well tempered. Unfortunately I waited about 25 minutes for the food. The first drink had already been emptied by the time the food arrived. Consequently, I ordered a second drink, but instead of a Diet Coke, I was delivered a regular Coke. I had to request the third drink because the waiters weren't attentive enough. But the good food outweighs the long wait

It was the first time in Vietnam that I had seen people waiting in line in front of a store. Moreover, over 80% are white. Apparently it's because it's listed in Michelin. When I was asked to share my seat, I gladly accepted and, unusually, a young American man shared my seat with me. He looked like he was in his 30s, but he was actually a 21-year-old bank employee who had spent three months in Japan for training. If you're that age and working at a bank, you're probably elite. It was a fun time, but I got tired of chatting in my poor English. I don't know the price because he generously bought it for me, but to be honest, banh xeo just wasn't for me. Although it's not inedible. Just like okonomiyaki, I didn't want to eat it all the time.

It is a very small restaurant (indoor), so it is recommended to reserve a table. The food is very tasty, there are large portions and for a comparatively cheap price. Unfortunately, the heating wasn't really active on my previous two visits, which meant it was relatively cold inside. (Visit in February and March)

One of the best Vietnamese food in this area. I recently visited this place with mu friend . The place has two sitting areas, one is indoor and another is in backside in open garden. The ambiance is very nice. The staff is welcoming and very well behaved. The food is amazing, we ordered curry rice and it was nice. The average price of dish is around 11£ and wich is quite low compared to other restaurants. Overall very nice place and I can recommend this place.

The food is customized for locals, not for peephole who wants to try some real Vietnamese. Don’t recommend to go for an Asia food sickness, it won’t help. PS, our meal was 36EUR, they only take cash and I gave 40 bank note, they don’t give you bank any changes, they take the 4 EURs as tip which there is no quality of service worthies that much. Wont go back again.

I tried the Curry Vit and loved it! The dish was perfectly seasoned, the duck meat was tender and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The mixture of coconut milk, Thai spices and fresh herbs really pampered my taste buds. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.
