I tried the Curry Vit and loved it! The dish was perfectly seasoned, the duck meat was tender and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The mixture of coconut milk, Thai spices and fresh herbs really pampered my taste buds. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Went to the Vietnamese restaurant because of the very good reviews. Didn't blow us away. The food was good but nothing more, the food was much better. Ambiance was pretty dreary, plates two different… staff was attentive and nice. Parking difficult.

Found it by chance on a walk today and stopped in spontaneously. Reception and service super friendly. Food fantastic! We sat in the cozy courtyard and felt completely comfortable. We will definitely come back!

Delicious! The mango salad was crispy, fresh with a delicious sauce and the spring rolls were crispy and baked but still juicy. The udons with duck are a dream. Perfectly seasoned sauce! Absolutely worth the price. Small but cozy terrace.

Not enough Vietnamese for Vietnamese. Dressings too sweet with hardly any spiciness. Summer rolls come with a brown, very creamy dip and not a light fish sauce-based dip, as it should actually be. The bottom line is that the food is completely okay given the price level. It depends on what you expect - as is often the case. The staff is very nice and you can pay with PayPal if necessary. So another ½ star from me.

Because of the good reviews, we ended up in Da Nang after visiting Gruga. We can only confirm the good reviews. The meal was excellent. The young lady who served us was super nice and friendly. The fact that the restaurant was formerly a pub cannot be overlooked. However, we sat outside on the terrace. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

We ordered food to be delivered from Da Nang. The delivery was quick and problem-free. We had the spicy red Thai curry once and the beef Udon Da Nang sauce once. So we often eat Asian dishes and they are also very good. In terms of quality, these exceed everything that has come before. What a special treasure in Essen-Holsterhausen. Da Nang looks more beautiful every time. Now there are great murals, new tables and cozy lighting. The food was always beyond reproach. Top ! A real Vietnamese delight.

Four of us spontaneously came by without a reservation. We got a table straight away even though the place was full. The maps were quickly brought to us; they were clear and understandable. Service was attentive and took our order carefully. Appetizers came quickly and the summer rolls were good. The main courses we chose were crispy chicken with peanut sauce, red Thai curry sauce and udon noodles. The peanut sauce was to die for! The homemade lemonade was also very tasty, all in all a good meal. The ambience can still be improved and is still very reminiscent of a pub. Toilets were clean and free parking on site is possible but not guaranteed.

Super delicious food at great prices. The service is great too! You can still see the former pub in the shop, but you can drink draft Stauder and sit in the fresh air in the courtyard.

We found this culinary specialty following a recommendation from friends! We felt very friendly service and advice and ate delicious starters such as spring and summer rolls. The main course was duck and tofu. Both tasted very crispy, great seasoning and the portions were very, very generous. We'd love to come back!

What a joke! Just walked to the store for 15 minutes in -5°C because the owner posted just a week ago that he was open on Mondays and now the store is closed. That makes me wanna puke. You won't see me again!

The food and my drink itself were good, even if I got yellow instead of red Thai curry. The curry was very similar to “Gao”. The homemade iced tea was a bit small, but refreshing and tasty. The starters were very good, but the interior and menu can still be worked on.

Zu viert dort gegessen. Zwei Stunden vorher angerufen und reserviert. Das Essen, vor allem der hausgemachte Kimchi, schmeckten sehr gut. Der Service war top. Das Ambiente erinnert etwas an eine deutsche Kneipe und der Eingangsbereich könnte etwas liebevoller gestaltet sein, aber das stört mich persönlich nicht. Unter Strich sehr zufrieden gewesen.

We also booked the whole place for company´s event and it worked out perfectly. Free parking space in Rühlestraße. Gerne kommen wir wieder :)

Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz so schön (ehemalige Kneipe) aber frisch renoviert und asiatisch dekoriert. Alles sehr sauber. Preis/Leistung super. Leckere frische Küche. Das war nicht unser letzter Besuch!

Gut das wir einen Tisch bestellt hatten. Wir kamen auf einem Montag um 19:30 Uhr. Das Restaurant war gut besucht, die meisten Tische waren schon besetzt. Das Service Personal war trotzdem sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben Bun Vit bestellt, ein vietnamesisches Gericht mit Ente, Reisnudeln, Kräutern, Erdnüssen und Zitronenfischsauce. Die charmante junge Bedienung hat uns bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen, dass dieses Gericht in Vietnam lauwarm gegessen wird und gefragt, ob sie es für uns heiß zubereiten sollen. Wir haben uns für die originale Variante entschieden. Unser Essen kam in einer angemessenen Zeit und es schmeckte hervorragend. Selten haben wir so ein zartes Entenfleisch gegessen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Wo bekomme ich schon eine so reichliche und schmackhafte Portion für 13,50 EUR? Vielen Dank, gern empfehlen wir Euch weiter.

Das Lokal ist klein und die Einrichtung rustikal, der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Essen hervorragend, die Preise sind angemessen, eher moderat. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl auch an vegetarischen Gerichten. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend dort verbracht und planen bald wieder dort einzukehren.

Ein sehr gutes vietnamesisches Restaurant mit wirklich gutem Essen und einem tollen freundlichen Service. Das junge vietnamesische Paar sollte man nicht nur aus idealistischen Gründen unterstützen, sondern schon allein deswegen, weil das Essen wirklich gut ist.

Vietnamesische Fusionsküche.. Ich muß zugeben, dass ich von Beginn an skeptisch war. Zuerst: Empfang war klasse, mit einem Lächeln, herzallerliebst. Gemütlich sitzen tut man auch. Sanitär sauber und ordentlich. Ambiente Kneipen- Barock mit etwas Verzierung, eher rustikal, aber sauber, die Speisen allesamt sehr schön und ordentlich angerichtet. Handwerklich gut. Zum Essen möchte ich sagen: Es ist echt Geschmackssache. Wir waren zu viert, ich durfte von jedem probieren. Meins war wirklich lecker, wohlschmeckend. Die anderen drei hätte ich nicht essen können. Eins fürchterlich scharf, das Zweite.. ich kanns nicht beschreiben, einfach nicht mein Geschmack. Das Dritte, hmm, ebenfalls nö. Es ist für den heimatlichen Gaumen recht exotisch, die Gerichte sind sehr unterschiedlich. Mein Fazit: Man muß das mehrfach probieren. Nur weil ein Gericht nicht getroffen hat, heisst es nicht, dass der nächste Schmaus nicht ein Volltreffer ist. Es war anders, als alles andere, was ich bisher in meinem Leben gegessen habe.

Sehr nette, freundliche Bedienung. Erlebe ich nicht mehr so oft. Habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Speisekarte ist einfach strukturiert, aber völlig ok. Die Preise sind ebenso komplett angemessen. Das Essen ist frisch, lecker und nett angerichtet. Habe mich wohlgefühlt. Es hat mir sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Gestern Abend habe ich Pho Bo bestellt, es war sehr köstlich. Das Geschmack war Pho Bo in Vietnam, das ich früher gegessen habe, sehr ähnlich. Außerdem war das Personal sehr enthusiastisch und sie hat immer gelächelt. Auf jeden Fall werde ich wiederkommen.

Toll was die neuen Besitzer aus dieser Schabbelkneipe gemacht haben, ein Kleinod asiatischer Köstlichkeiten. Gerne noch für etwas mehr asiatisches Flair im Inenraum sorgen, bevor der Winter kommt.

Waren bereits mehrfach dort. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und von der Größe der Portion ausreichend. Man schmeckt verschiedene Zutaten heraus, nicht wie häufig alles in irgendeiner Soße ertränkt. Preis/ Leistung ist überzeugend. Beim Ambiente muss ich was abziehen, wenn gleich der kleine Biergarten recht nett ist. Allerdings fehlen innen noch ein paar Details um auch wirklich asiatisches Feeling aufkommen zu lassen. Macht mal ein paar Dekoartikel aus der Heimat hin und dann leise asiatische Musik, perfekt. Die Bedienung und auch die Mitarbeiter in der Küche sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!
