A fantastic Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Cottbus and definitely worth a visit! The pizzas we ordered were incredibly delicious. We even received a welcome greeting from the kitchen. The server was super friendly. Absolutely fantastic! The ambiance is beautiful.

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is nice. In my opinion, the salad is a bit lacking. One leaf on the plate looks a bit thin. But that's just complaining at a high level. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We'll be happy to come back.

We had lunch at Da Michelangelo today. The outdoor seating was lovely. There were plenty of shady spots. The tables inside were also beautifully set. It had a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious (pork medallion). The food and drinks were also reasonably priced. For us, it's the best Italian restaurant in Cottbus.

We stopped by by chance and ordered lasagna, pizza, and bruschetta. Everything was delicious, and especially the guy who served us was very friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

Quality and taste is awesome and yummy. Service is good. There was no waiting for table. And order came in 15 minutes.

I definitely need to edit my previous review. Two years ago, I gave the restaurant a rather poor review. A lot has changed since then – the owners have changed, and the restaurant has been significantly improved. The food is now fantastic: fresh, delicious, and typically Italian. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming; you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere – especially outside on the terrace – is very cozy. I'm delighted that the restaurant has developed so positively and now I really enjoy coming here. Highly recommended!

We went to Da Michelangelo for a birthday dinner with five people. I had made a reservation in advance because it was a Saturday evening. The drinks came quite quickly, but due to a very large party outside, the food took a while to arrive. But the wait was worth every second; the food was simply delicious! We'll definitely be back!

Yesterday, ten of us went to this Italian restaurant. Someone from Cottbus suggested we come here. We had appetizers, soup, Italian antipasti, and then all sorts of other dishes, which we were truly surprised by and very satisfied with. We thank the person who recommended this restaurant to us with its warm and very good atmosphere. We will be back very soon. Highly recommended

We ordered here via Lieferando. My boyfriend said the calzone was good, but the rest was unfortunately subpar. The salad consisted of three scampi and lamb's lettuce plus some cheese, and it tasted so bad that it was inedible. I had the worst stomach ache of my life afterward. The price-performance ratio is completely out of proportion. Unfortunately...

05/11/25 Addendum We ordered for Mother's Day, but everything was full. “Ohh sorry, something went wrong,” said the server (waiter?). “Please wait outside for 10 minutes,” (my parents are disabled). After 25 minutes of waiting and no attention from the restaurateurs, we left. The fact that you make a mistake is not nice, but it can happen. The fact that you sit there as ordered and not picked up, without espresso or something, that's what's so frustrating, the disregard. There was also no reaction when I thanked us and logged off. The Greeks were much better and more accommodating. I am very disappointed. So we didn't test any food. The food is very good, price/performance is right. Nice service always attentive. Pizza dough to the point, not too much, not too little salt. This means the ingredients taste good. Wine also very good, all in all highly recommended.

We had a small family celebration in the restaurant with 15 people. The table was very nicely set. Our guests ordered various dishes à la carte - various pizzas, pasta dishes, fish and meat dishes, even various soups. Everyone has found something for themselves. It took a while to get the food (but still within limits) as everything had already been prepared in advance when we pre-ordered. What can I say – everything tasted great and our guests were completely satisfied. The service was super nice, everything worked perfectly ;-) We also regularly order pizza there and are always very satisfied. A small place, but wonderful – I can only recommend it!

Group of 6 people for the evening Food good, but not exceptional as carpaccio, for example, was a bit thick. Pizza dough also too thick and in the oven for too long. Therefore very hard. Pasta etc. OK. Wine & drinks are good - service is consistent. Unfortunately very loud and narrow. It would be appropriate to reduce the space capacity somewhat and not to overbook. Evening was still a success - you can do it there again. But it's nothing special and needs to be hyped.

The food was super tasty, I had a pasta and it was A1. The waiters were very attentive and the food didn't take long to arrive. I will definitely come back when I'm in Cottbus again.

We were here for the second time and were thrilled again. In addition to the great ambience and the delicious food, the staff is also very attentive and yet not intrusive at the same time. We have rarely felt so comfortable. You come as a stranger and leave as a friend.

I always really enjoy going there. Total insider tip outside the city center. The service is super friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The food is very tasty. However, I deducted a star for the ambience because I personally don't find the look of the back part of the dining room with the ice cream counter that nice/inviting. The furniture on the summer terrace could be renewed for the 2025 season. Higher quality furniture, stylish parasols or even beautiful tablecloths would immediately make a difference. Until the next visit! I am happy.

Great little restaurant with good cuisine and good service

It used to be something of an “insider tip”, but unfortunately nothing special anymore. If you can't get a real carbonara at an Italian restaurant, or if the risotto isn't made with risotto rice, that's really pathetic.

One of the best Italian restaurants we have had the pleasure of visiting so far. Wine, starters, main course, tiramisu, the charming service and the modern ambience... Grandioso e perfetto!

Fourth time here and still not disappointed. Everything was delicious and very pleasant service. Gladly again!!!

Fast and friendly service and great food.

For the first time in a long time in the Cottbus area, I had a really high-quality, high-quality rump steak (Argentinian) that was perfectly cooked to medium rare, with an excellently seasoned "green pepper sauce" and extremely tasty rosemary potatoes. That was really good craftsmanship. A truly excellent level and absolutely good value for money. The map reads very nicely and whets the appetite for more. The service was also attentive and always available. It was definitely not my last meal there.

The waiting time was a bit long, but it was also very well attended.

I used the delivery service and was quite disappointed. We ordered 3 starters and the portion sizes were quite tiny for the price (€28). I think my gratinated feta cheese in a cream sauce was just placed in a cup of whipped cream, which unfortunately I couldn't enjoy. My bruschetta was cold soft bread with a bit of tomato and onion.. no herbs, nothing. The gorgonzola sauce with the mushrooms was the only thing I actually liked (that's why the 2 stars). I think it's a shame if I pay the same price as I would at the table, then I expect at least a little attention to detail. Cottbus offers several Italian delivery services, unfortunately I will no longer include these in my shortlist.

The menu is not too overloaded, you should find something here, from starters, pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes to dessert There is no children's menu, but the dishes here are adapted to children. In my case pasta with Bolognese, which tasted really delicious… My husband had Pizza Tonno and I had “chicken breast with mashed potatoes with bone sauce” with the option of vegetables and gorgonzola sauce. The chicken breast was exactly right, very juicy and the plate was beautifully presented. The staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating. My family and I had a lovely evening. It won't be the last visit.

In short: it was very tasty! Seven people were accommodated with very short notice on a Saturday evening without any problems. And once you sit comfortably at the table and choose a dish from the extensive menu, you can hardly go wrong. Whether pizza, lasagna, pasta with ham and without Gorgonzola or the other way around, everyone should find what they are looking for here. Friendly service completes the positive overall picture. We really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back.

Pizzen okay aber zu übersalzen für meinen Geschmack , schnelle Zubereitung , Größe okay , der Teig war auch gut. Toiletten könnten einen frischen Anstrich gebrauchen. Für einen Schnellimbiss gäbe es mehr Sterne aber nicht für ein Restaurant mit solchem Preisniveau…

Begeisterung pur! Ein echtes Juwel unter den italienischen Restaurants. Ich kann gar nicht genug loben, wie außergewöhnlich mein Besuch in diesem italienischen Restaurant war! Die Sauberkeit des Ortes war beeindruckend, was sofort ein Gefühl von Frische und Qualität vermittelte. Das Essen war einfach köstlich – jedes Gericht eine wahre Gaumenfreude. Was den Besuch jedoch wirklich unvergesslich gemacht hat, war die überaus gastfreundliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal war nicht nur professionell, sondern auch herzlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gestaltet hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Kinderfreundlichkeit – die Mitarbeiter haben sich liebevoll um unsere Kleinen gekümmert, was den Abend zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis für die ganze Familie gemacht hat. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Restaurant, das die Essenz der italienischen Gastfreundschaft perfekt einfängt!

Abgesehen vom Tisch nahe des Eingangs und einer nicht verschließbaren WC Kabine auf dem Herren WC ganz ok. Essen sehr gut, Latte Macciato in der Tasse (?). Kann man empfehlen.
