Wir sind schon mit gemischten Gefühlen dorthin gegangen und unsere schlimmsten Befürchtungen wurden wahr. Was dort serviert wird hat mit italienischer Küche nichts aber auch gar nichts zu tun. Wir hatten eine Antipasti Platte für 18 ,50€ die nicht mal 5,00 € wert war. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir Lachs und Kalbsleber mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln. Lachs war tot gebraten und somit extrem trocken . Die Leber war mit einer Schuhsohle zu vergleichen. Die verbrannten Kartoffeln hatten den Namen nicht mal ansatzweise verdient. Zu Hause mussten wir erst mal Magentropfen nehmen weil uns schlecht war... Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt wer in diesem Land Gastronom werden darf.. Wenn man unfähig ist die einfachsten Gerichte zuzubereiten sollte man doch etwas machen wovon man etwas versteht. Fazit: In Italien wären diese Leute in zwei Wochen pleite!

I recently went there for dinner with my partner. We hadn't booked a table and still got a free table for 2 people. We were handed the menu and a basket of white bread and green olives, both of which tasted good. The waiter immediately took our drink order and immediately asked if we had already decided on a dish, so we barely had 5 minutes to relax and browse the menu. When we placed our order, when my partner asked about his side dish, the waiter became extremely rude and unfriendly and snatched the menu out of his hand. What we noticed was that the waiters were extremely hectic and pushy in the restaurant, which did not contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. The next setback followed, after about 10 minutes our food was served! With all due respect, serving two freshly prepared dishes during this time is simply impossible. This is exactly what was reflected in our food. I ordered tagliatelle with salmon, my partner the veal fillet from the weekly menu. The pasta in my case tasted okay, nothing more. The portion was very small and totally cold! In the case of my partner, however, we were almost shocked. The plate was visually unappealing and unloving and the portion was very small. The vegetables were overcooked and instead of rosemary potatoes he got a halved potato with a small sprig of rosemary. The meat was not seared and the entire dish was cold and unseasoned. The individual components were poured over with brew. Not only did it look unappetizing, but it also tasted so unappetizing that after two bites he stopped touching his plate and eventually left the restaurant hungry. Due to the unfriendliness of the waiters, we didn't have the food returned or requested a new one because we felt so uncomfortable that we wanted to leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. I would also like to point out at this point that one of the waiters focused his attention on me so unpleasantly that I felt disturbed and stared at. In order to save us further cheeky comments from the service staff, we asked for the bill as quickly as possible. We decided against tipping and, as expected, the response was once again unreasonably unfriendly. We were unable to enjoy the evening for the reasons just mentioned and cannot recommend the restaurant. At this point I would like to mention that I had a different experience there before, which cannot be compared to what we experienced in all respects. It's a shame that this restaurant has deteriorated so much in quality.

The food came about 10 minutes after we ordered, was unseasoned, cold and far too little, vegetables were mushy. Rosemary potatoes turned out to be just a single cut open regular potato with no taste. When I asked if I could have fries instead of rosemary potatoes, the card was taken away from me in an unfriendly, cheeky manner and I was told no, we don't do that here. The arrangement of the plates was careless, different waiters wanted to process us quickly. Of course, we didn't tip when paying, which obviously didn't go down well with your service and they obviously let us know. Service was very rude and unusual.

I was at Amarone in Cottbus today and in summary I can say that this was by far the scariest experience I have had in a long time. But first things first. When you enter the restaurant you first pass through a dingy anteroom with two mailboxes and a metal box. Could be a heater. I'll just leave it like that for now. There are a large number of (male) employees in the guest room. Our jackets were taken away and hung on a coat rack out of our sight. I find it very difficult. There was always a member of staff standing throughout the meal penetrating in the immediate vicinity of our table. Another employee smiled at my companion with every single eye contact. Everyone involved should be very careful here. After we ordered, our "table worker" took away what he considered unnecessary cutlery. Meaning: I had noodles. So I wasn't allowed to keep my knife. The food came and the man asked if we wanted pepper. There was a pepper mill on the table for this purpose. But be careful: not to self-condition. A good chef cooks in such a way that his guests enjoy the food without adding any seasoning. But for heaven's sake. You can't sprinkle pepper over your guests' food at the table. Maybe you should leave that to your guests. The evening was over pretty quickly. As soon as the food was eaten, the plates were removed in real time. No question whether we would like anything else. In between 1-2 employees at our table an employee from the bar stared and smiled. My conclusion: My companion felt harassed. The food below average. You can also eat spaghetti from the supermarket. The service was terribly amateurish. And 10 gnocchi for €20? We will definitely not visit this establishment again, which has nothing to do with a restaurant, nor will we recommend it to others.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. We placed our order and specifically stated that we wanted our meal without meat. The waiter confirmed this and we trusted that our request would be respected. But when the food was brought, it contained meat! To our horror, the waiter even made a snide comment and said with a sarcastic smile, "It still came with meat." This was not only disrespectful, but completely unacceptable. For guests who have special dietary requirements or ethical beliefs, such behavior is simply outrageous. It was an insulting and disappointing experience that ruined our evening. We absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The only thing that I didn’t like it it was that the people were sad and it seems they were tired and I’m going to work there. Haben einen Tisch vorbestellt hat alles super geklappt. Essen war sehr aber es waren noch nicht alle fertig mit essen dann würde schon von der ersten Person der Teller weggenommen und es wurde schnell geschaut ob die nächsten Fertig sind das alle Teller vom Tisch verschwinden. Und dann wird am Tisch vorbei gelaufen und geschaut man gleich bezahlt das man den Tisch frei macht. Finden wir unmöglich war wie ein rausschmiss. Hätte man am Telefon gesagt sie haben soviel Zeit hätte man anders reagieren können aber nicht so .

Even with no reservation the staff organized a nice place outside on the Altmarkt. My Pizza was absolutely great, but wife’s was too watery. Staff really good and it was definitely not the last time visiting them.

My family and I were passing through the city of Cottbus today and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. At the entrance we were greeted by a waiter who asked us if we could eat without a reservation. He wasn't very friendly to us from the start and said he could give us a seat for an hour, we said that was fine with us. Then when we chose what we wanted to order we called the waiter but he was immediately rude to us and told us that we had called him the wrong way even though we weren't being rude or disrespectful to him. He continued to speak rudely to my wife, to which I told him that he was being very rude to us. In the end he spoiled our mood. Very tasty pizza. I'm not a gourmet but it was great for my palate. We came with a group of 9 people without a reservation, so a few tables were quickly squeezed together for us and we were able to enjoy the delicious food. I'd love to come back when I'm in Cottbus again.

Amarone - a small and fine Italian restaurant in Cottbus located on the Altmarkt. The team here is very friendly, you are greeted warmly when you enter the restaurant. You also try to get a table if you don't have a reservation and it's full. The food is very tasty and the price is completely reasonable. After paying the bill, there is a schnapps (grappa, Ramazotti...) and a friendly farewell. You feel comfortable here. Komische kalte Bedienung … lag es daran das ich ausschließlich englisch redete ? Hmmm Das Essen also die Kartoffeln schmeckten nach gestern eine war sogar verbrannt ( verunglückte Bratkartoffel lol ) Glas Sekt mit Aperol war auch keine 4.50 wert Also war nicht von den Socken weder vom Service noch vom Geschmack. Ging aber fix. Strange somewhat cold but fast service. Not like any Italian I m used too. The food was ok but not great. My potatoes had a stale taste from yesterday and one was even burned. The Prosecco with aperol was so tiny not worth 4.50 I m having a hard time to recommend that place.

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen in diesem Lokal. Aufgrund der Uhrzeit hatten bereits sehr viele Restaurants in der ländlichen brandenburger Gegend die Küche schon geschlossen. Es ist ein sehr angenehmes Lokal. Die Pizza ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Tiramisu, welches wir als Nachspeise hatten, ist hausgemacht und schmeckt hervorragend. Preis-Leistung war sehr in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher.

Es war ein toller Abend mit absolut leckerem Essen. Trotz dessen, dass es gut besucht war, ging es super flott ..das Service Personal war überaus aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Mag ich sehr. Mein Highlight übrigens, obwohl er nicht auf der Karte zu finden war,gab es Gin Tonic 😍👌
