Delicious as always and excellent service.

Unfortunately, our visit was not a very enjoyable one. The wait of around two hours was far too long, and while the food was okay, it was only average. The service was neither unfriendly nor particularly warm – overall, we didn't feel welcome at all. We found it especially inconvenient that payment wasn't possible at the table and instead we had to stand in a long queue. This is neither modern nor hospitable. Small touches like olives, bread, or a complimentary digestif, which are often offered in other restaurants, were also missing. Furthermore, we noticed that other tables were served much more quickly, which reinforced the impression of being rushed through the restaurant. Overall, the visit was disappointing, and we will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

My experience was kinda delightful and kinda sad. I had been to the resturant on the Friday afternoon and since I was solo travelling and wanted to eat an authentic pizza. Heard a lot about the reviews and ended up here. The service is amazing and the ambience was great. I noticed a lot of people enjoying the food and they were really happy. I expected the pizza to taste different but I could say that it was nice. Better than other pizzerias in cottbus. When I saw people finishing up their meal and trying to pay, the guy (idk if he is the owner) simply went upto them and asked them if they could pay with card/cash. But since I am Indian and brown skinned ( he too was Indian and spoke to me nicely In a local language), he told me that I could not pay with card and they only accept cash. It was a bit shocking because he said nothing of that sorts to other people. Was kinda awe struck but I let it fly and he tells me that this is the last time I could pay by card and next time I need to bring cash. It honestly felt kinda weird, but nevertheless, would recommend everyone to try the food. I liked the place and the food.

1. Bruschetta arrived soggy. 2. Staff was terrible and some couldn't speak German. 3. Some of the food arrived incorrectly. 4. There was no cutlery. It was only provided after asking. 5. Paying took 30 minutes. 6. Food took 2 hours to arrive. 7. Table was reserved early, but still wasn't clean! It hadn't been cleared by the previous guests. 8. Dirty glasses.

5 stars – Simply top-notch! We dined at Ristorante Roma in Cottbus this evening and were completely thrilled! Right from the start, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. There was a bowl of olives and a basket of freshly baked pizza bread – a wonderful gesture! The bruschetta as a starter was simply perfect, beautifully fresh and well-seasoned. For our main course, we had spaghetti aglio e olio and a pizza with ham, mushrooms, and onions. Both dishes were excellent – ​​the spaghetti perfectly al dente and the pizza with a crispy base and fresh ingredients. We especially appreciated that we received a complimentary Amaretto when we paid – a very kind and thoughtful gesture! At the end of our meal, the owner gave us a tour of the premises and told us a bit more about himself and the restaurant. Very personal and welcoming! The value for money here is absolutely top-notch. If we're in Cottbus again, we'll definitely be back! We highly recommend Ristorante Roma.

It was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. There was so much choice, and what we had was incredibly delicious.

The Roma is always a good place for delicious food. Since we're from out of town, we like to stop there before visiting the Stadthalle, like many others. Despite the crowds at such events, you can dine there in a quiet, cozy atmosphere. The service is relaxed and very attentive. Always happy to return.

It's rare to experience such great service in a restaurant. We spontaneously got a table right away on a Saturday evening. We received a very friendly welcome, and the service throughout the evening was very pleasant. The ladies at the counter frequently asked how we were and how we wanted to go. Everyone had a smile on their face. The dishes were of very high quality and incredibly delicious. We didn't have to wait long for anything, and everything was timed just right, even though the rest of the restaurant was quite busy. The atmosphere was very inviting. This certainly won't be our last visit.

I ordered lunch from the takeaway menu, but was charged from the dinner menu, as you apparently have to specifically mention that you're ordering from the lunch menu...I find that cheeky when they offer lunch from 12-2 p.m. A rip-off in my opinion. The food was delicious.

The food, the pizza's bottom was partially burnt black. The pizzas were large and had good toppings. Service was good and attentive. The price was reasonable. The ambiance could be better.

A very nice restaurant. Well-kept atmosphere. Very nice people working there. The pizza was simply delicious. My girlfriend had spaghetti carbonara. Also very tasty. Great place for a wonderful experience.

We thank Hassan for the very courteous and attentive service. The food was very good, especially the homemade tiramisu. The macchiato was also delicious – and the live music was the surprising highlight of our visit! We'd love to go back!

We've been here twice now and have always been able to get a table without hesitation. The staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food tastes excellent, and you don't have to wait long. There's lovely, calming music in the background, and you just feel at ease. We're very satisfied and can only recommend it.

I went out to dinner with my fashion show team. The evening was lovely, the food mediocre, and the service pleasant. So far, everything was fine. Then it was time to pay. Suddenly, the waitress didn't speak German anymore! I'm now a businesswoman myself and always inform my customers before serving and paying what costs what, and where additional charges might arise. Because I don't presume to simply take money out of my customers' pockets. I paid the approximately €100 bill with my Visa debit card. The card machine suddenly charged me a fee of over €4 "all on its own." There's no question that this flood of debit cards, triggered by the banks, is difficult for all businesses, but not informing guests in advance about the applicable fees is a rip-off! Besides, I know enough to know that a payment of around €350 will incur a fee of around €5. Why a €4 fee for €100? A rip-off! The catering receipt and the card receipt now show different amounts! The discussion with the manager afterwards was awful. I'll never go here again! ...my girls had a lot of trouble paying their bills. Suddenly, some amounts were "accidentally" charged to other tables, all unclear and untraceable. Unbelievable! I can only confirm what was written in some previous reviews. Unfortunately! 😔

Far too big and uncomfortable. The food is okay, but the staff is overwhelmed by the number of tables and reacts unfriendly when customers just want to pay.

We ate there after work. Everything was delicious, especially the pizza. The service was quick and very friendly; upon request, my colleague got an extra bowl of Parmesan cheese for his pasta. All in all, a great restaurant.

We had reservations, and because of an event at the town hall, it was quite busy. Other groups had ordered after us or at the same time and were already paying, but we still hadn't had our food. It was very annoying, and we weren't even asked for more drinks. When paying, I first asked for a bill and then told them what I had to pay. In the end, due to an input error, there was no bill. Many other guests had the same experience, which was very strange.

There were 1-2 inconsistencies with the meal, but the waitress Hassan took care of it and sorted it out in a very professional and friendly manner, big praise! All in all good shop.

Today I went to Pizzarie Roma with my wife for dinner. My wife had spaghetti bolognes very good and plentiful, I had Tagatielle Salmone with lemon and mint. I have to say it was the best tagliatelle I have ever eaten. The price-performance ratio is also appropriate. We will definitely be guests here again on our next visit to Cottbus

Here you will find a nice atmosphere with very good service. The quality of the food was also very good. The pizza Roma dough was excellent. In my opinion a little too much cheese was used, but everyone has a different opinion. I can only recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a funghi over the phone and got a mushroom pizza with ham. So if you already offer Italian cuisine you should also know that a Funghi is only buried with mushrooms. I called again by phone and the only answer I got was number 52, sorry. Yes, sorry but I didn't order the 52 but ok it was the first and last time I was there.

I've eaten here several times, and it was absolutely delicious. My friends were also impressed, especially with the delicious pizzas and the fast service. We'll be back.

Not a good experience! Store mostly empty. This is always a (warning) sign. Card lush. Selection rich. Aperitif almost tasteless. More of a lightly flavored water with a splash of liqueur(?). Looked more appealing on the offer notice with a brighter color and some decoration. Ordered starter separately without Knofi. Bruchetta very knofi-heavy, probably not freshly prepared. Because the knofi is rubbed into the bread by hand. Here tomato mixture was already prepared. Plus no onion and no basil. Instead, gray oregano from the shaker. Substitute starter should only be tomato on bread... but with mozzarella pieces and a lot of oregano. Inedible. Too bad. Both basically fine things, messed up here and now. (See photo) Before the replacement starter arrived, the main course was served. A completely circular pizza. So no manual work either. Taste wise just ok. Unfortunately nothing fresh green either. My counterpart chose lasagne. A must for Italians. The flat version was thin in taste. No vegetables, no tomatoes. Served on kitchen roll paper. It's all no fault of the service. But there weren't any Italians in the kitchen. Dessert was skipped. Conclusion: it doesn't have to happen again. Not even here in Cottbus. Before the question comes: it wasn't cheap in the end either.

Great atmosphere of a typical Italian restaurant. Roma offers a very wide menu, there are plenty of dishes and, most importantly, everything we ate was delicious 🔥👌 I recommend it 100%, lasagna, pasta, pizza is a firecracker! Very pleasant service and a calm Italian atmosphere.

I am absolutely underwhelmed by this "Italian". The service is a disaster. The waitress comes to the table with a lousy and negative facial expression. She was completely unfamiliar with friendly interaction, let alone competent service. Requests are met with eye rolls and ultimately ignored or inappropriately denied. Since I expect card payment for a group event (who carries [that much] cash these days), that wasn't possible. The result, mushy statements and rude communication. I've had enough there! It was the third time that this service person had approached me like this.

Yesterday at lunchtime we were at the Roma Restaurant. The service was friendly, but could only accept orders with a number (I said, for example, penne all forno - she didn't know what I wanted). Food was good, but with a lot of curry. We were 6 people. When paying, the voucher could only be calculated in cash!!! Finally I would like to say: Ok, it was good and we'd love to come back.

Very good food, the service is attentive and nice. The map is very extensive, making a decision difficult. Parking spaces are available nearby. Everything is fine, gladly again.

Unfortunately the food was subpar. Pasta with bolo and cheese gratinated, hardly any Bolognese, dry and horribly prepared in a pan, including a Zewa. You can eat better in any motorway service station. Bruschetta on dry, hard bread, almost not toasted at all and the tomatoes soggy. Today was a day with X for me. Unfortunately, the beautiful ambience cannot hide the bad food. The Roma can't go back to earlier times - it was once the best Italian in the city. Unfortunately!

Quite a good restaurant overall. Very high prices for Cottbus and considering the overall package. Many main courses only start at €30. Card payment was currently not possible, which is not easy with a bill of almost €200. But well, at least that was on the door. Also a very overloaded menu. But there weren't many guests there on Saturday evening.

Food didn't taste good. Despite being told that a person was vegan, a meal was delivered with a mixture of tomato sauce and cream. The staff was nice, but totally chaotic and you had to wait a long time for the food.

Today we hosted a large group at Roma. The waiters were always attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks or for our orders to be taken. The food was really good for the price and everyone was full. The boss personally delivered and peppered the starters. Really a pleasant stay and I will happily return there.

We wanted to celebrate our class reunion in this restaurant because according to the opening times on Saturday evening it was supposed to be open until midnight. We were informed before 10 p.m. that it would be closed and that we should pay. When asked why it would be open until midnight, they said there weren't enough guests. (Aren't we guests?) It's a shame about our class reunion, there were people there who had to travel a long way. In addition, payment had to be made at the counter and card payment was not possible. We will not visit this restaurant again! No stars

Get two places at short notice via telephone reservation. My personal problem: sooooo huge choice of food. At the 😄 agonizing end I decided on a Vsp. platter with salmon and salad. Yummy. It doesn't always have to be pizza or something with pasta. The panna cotta was a bit too firm for me. But very vanilla.😋 The double espresso, as it should be. Service friendly, careful. The only “small drawback”. The size of the table for two. People sit “too far” from each other. Then there's the background noise, which makes relaxed talking and understanding difficult. 😃But overall a pleasant 2.5 hours spent. Thank you very much. 💐

No decency, no apology, nothing. The Roma is by no means recommended given its current management and the people currently working there. Trouble instead of food is inevitable. A service desert. And this despite the fact that a surprising number of idle personnel were already on duty. We used to enjoy eating at Roma. There was the best Pizza Magherita and other very good dishes. We enjoyed going there regularly for about 15 years. After a break of almost 2 years, we wanted to eat this great pizza again for the first time. We were happy about a free table on German Unity Day. But it wasn't meant to be. It began that the order had to be asked twice at two tables around us because the waitresses were unable to understand numbers and words and classify them in the system. Even stranger, we ordered before the other guests and still no pizza after 25 minutes. Then they put grated cheese and two spoons on the table. After another 5 minutes I asked what was now taken as an order. An evasive, broken answer. In the end, noodles were noted. We then paid for drinks and left Roma.

We were very satisfied again on our second visit! Service attentive, food quick and tasty, everything was top notch!

The restaurant is large and attractively decorated. We ordered a colorful mix of starters. The calamari was the best. The menu is very large. The price-performance ratio is in the high price segment.

Genrial pizza, top-shelf products. Perfect service. I recommend it and when I visit Cottbus again I will go back there immediately. !!! 🙂

We ate there at the weekend, the food was very bad and almost inedible!! It just didn't taste like anything. What a shame! Lasagna was just a pile of pasta sheets and meat, totally tasteless! That was the last time we were there.

My girlfriend had pasta with salmon cream. It was very tasty but, a very small portion for 18€. Everyone understands that the prices will go up, but then the portions should stay the same!! I had a pizza with ham and arugula. Unfortunately the pizza dough was very dry. Do we know anything different about you?

Food was delicious, with a pizza roucola was swapped for spinach and an extra charge of €1 was charged. Bottomless. Service was unfriendly, annoyed and didn't make you feel good. Except for two waiters who were very nice to us. Unfortunately, our waitress in charge was the opposite. The food was ready quickly.

Spent my wedding anniversary at Roma and was not disappointed. The soup (tortellini) and the cordon bleu were simply delicious. The staff was friendly and took great care of you. I would happily visit the restaurant again as the ambience, music and food were simply fantastic.
