Curb Food in Hamburg

Uncomfortable, musty, clubhouse location, not unfriendly but not particularly friendly either. It used to be a really good football bar with great fries. Made it into a restaurant today, not particularly inviting. Fries prices are a disgrace. €4.50 for a nano portion of fries is not possible. No wonder hardly any young people go there. Just to eat a portion of fries.

During our four-day stay in Hamburg, we visited ALEX at Überseebrücke twice – and for good reason! The service was friendly and efficient, and the value for money was excellent. The selection is extensive, and we found the pictures on the menu particularly helpful, making it easier to choose. The breakfast buffet is delicious and beautifully presented – a perfect start to the day. And the view of the harbor is simply breathtaking – a true feast for both the eyes and the palate. We were especially pleased that the staff recognized us on our second visit and gave us a warm welcome – that's not something you can take for granted these days. Overall, a fantastic experience that we will definitely remember. We'll be back!

I ordered here for the first time today – and unfortunately, also for the last time. Ordered at [time] with a promised delivery time of 40 minutes, arrived after almost two hours. The app said "almost there" for over an hour, even though the driver hadn't left yet. On top of that, he initially drove to the wrong address. When the food finally arrived: • Completely cold • Wrong salad (instead of tomato salad, a green salad with two tomato pieces) • Leaked sauce in the bag, smeared all over • I had to heat up the meat in the microwave – the taste was correspondingly disappointing I'm not usually one for writing reviews, but this was unfortunately completely unacceptable.
