Cucina delle Grazie in Frankfurt am Main

We bought squid here for 30€, it was terrible, after that I thought about buying Bolognese pasta, it was very salty, the food was just terrible, I don’t recommend this establishment to anyone.

Tasteful, reduced furnishings. Very urban, also due to the excellent location. The view of the cathedral and the passers-by invites you to relax and linger. Coffee was very good, I didn't try the kitchen.

After the ridiculously small antipasti plate (a few olives and tomatoes in oil, two slices of salami and mortadella and two pieces of octopus) for a whopping €12.90, I ordered a minestrone and was given a plate with hot, completely unseasoned water and some vegetables (especially broccoli) in it. I returned the “Soup” and ordered the “Homemade Gnocci alla Sorrentina” instead. These were carelessly placed in the middle of a large plate and were not overbaked as stated on the menu. Both the look and the taste (mushy, round balls in tomato sauce) reminded me of a (bad) school cafeteria or cheap canned food. Despite everything, I had to pay the full, overpriced price for everything... Definitely the first and last visit to this restaurant.

Mittagessen schmeckte mäßig, das Dessert wirkte lieblos. Nur zwei Stunden nach dem Essen schwere Diarrhoe und Übelkeit bei meinem Partner und Übelkeit mit Aufstoßen bei mir. Dafür 80€. Die Lage wird mit schlechter Qualität wett gemacht.

Wij hebben hier beiden een salade gegeten, 1 met kip en 1 met garnalen. De salade was echt een maatijdsalade en na afloop zaten we goed vol. De smaak was prima. Aardige bediening.

2x Haare im Essen, (pseudo-) Panacottta mit Birnenkompott aus der Dose... Vorspeisen nicht hausgemacht. Scusi, aber cucina italiana geht anders. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt gar nicht. Schade. Wir haben immerhin nichts zahlen müssen. Hätten aber gern gut gegessen. Und dafür auch bezahlt. Die Weine waren immerhin gut.

This restaurant is next to the "cathedral" of Frankfurt. Because of the location, I expected an expensive place, but it is not. They have a simple menu, which includes meat or fish, for €12.90, and another menu, which includes pasta, for less than €10, drinks not included. In the end you end up paying more because the water costs €2.60, the coffee cream €3.10 and the plum cake (delicious) €5.50... The staff who served me, particularly a middle-aged Italian lady, were very friendly and professional.

Attention! Water bottles are filled with tap water. (The white ring under the cap is missing on the Acqua Panna bottles. Bottles are already worn out and you can taste the difference.) Tourist trap!

Unfortunately, despite the wonderful ambience, there are a few things that don't fit here. It was noted several times by the waitress that you were vegetarian and you were then served an appetizer garnished with fish sauce. Unfortunately the goat cheese was missing from the salad. The bread served was excellent. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian dishes leaves a lot to be desired. When asked, dishes with pork cheek etc. were listed that could simply be left out (discount...? Unlikely, but not asked).

Always beautiful. Absolutely recommended with a good price-performance ratio. The food and drinks are delicious, the staff is always attentive, friendly and approachable. That's how it should be. On top of that, the parking garage is just around the corner.

Leider haben wir noch nie eine so schlechte italienische Vorspeise gegessen. Gekochtes Ei mit Senf? Mortadella war in sehr dicke Scheiben geschnitten und schmeckte leider auch nicht. Fazit: sehr unitalienisch und keinen Appetit auf eine Hauptspeise….

The evening spent in this restaurant, more than a dinner, I would define it as a sensorial journey. There are rare occasions when you eat so well, even in Italy. Refinement of the ingredients, art in the transformation and care in the plating are the protagonists together with an attentive and kind service. It will certainly be a fixed stop when returning to Frankfurt. Truly CONGRATULATIONS!

Affordable menu of the day price but very expensive drinks and dessert and the main dish from the regular menu.

I had such a great time. The location is next to the cathedral. The food was excellent, but it was the attentive customer service that made it such a wonderful experience. I came for a glass of wine and ended up ordering an appetiser, coffee and dessert. So delicious! This is now my favorite restaurant in Germany. Thank you.

My husband and I dined at Cucina delle Grazie tonight. It is in a very pleasant area. I had a delicious Chicken salad which was perfect as I wanted something light. There were many other options on the menu. The service was amazing. We were served by Raffael and a lovely young waitress. I highly recommend this restaurant

We ordered a bottle of still water and got filled tap water and a bottle for €5.90. Palma Still. Various factors such as taste and incorrect opening indicate this. We were cheated here. The location doesn't hold up the store otherwise. Tourist rip off. We took a sample with us for the trade office. After our complaint, the waitress went to the boss. He then went out of our way to wipe tables outside. This is how an innocent person behaves. We already noticed from the reaction of the waiters that something was wrong. Or is it just the employees who then put the surplus into their own pockets in the evening and the boss knows nothing about it. ? The one star is for the location. The rest is better canteen.

Great ambiance, flavor, and location. 4/5 stars for food only because we saw bugs … these need to be addressed, even if they’re harmless.

Tolle Lage am Dom Leckere, original italienische Speisen.wir hatten die schwarzen Tagliolini, Gnocchi mit Auberginen und Cannelloni mit Ricotta und Spinat Füllung. Alles sehr empfehlungswert. Super Espresso wie er sein soll.

I had a late lunch here during a long layover in Frankfurt. The food was AMAZING. I had a glass of white German wine, which was delicious (and this is a lot coming from someone who has spent most of her life in the Napa Valley, California)! I also had the gnocci, which was absolutely succlent. So soft and pillowy with perfect flavors. The bread was delicious too. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and the food was just amazing. The view of the cathedral right in front of the restaurant made for great ambiance.

Tolles kleines Lokal mit schnellem, sehr netten Service und sehr sehr guten Essen!! Auch preislich für die Lage und das Niveau absolut zu empfehlen. Einrichtung ist sehr schlicht (eher Bistroartig) und passt gefühlt nicht recht zu dem so hochwertigen Essen, aber das ist sicher auch Geschmacksache. Nur das Jever sollte gegen Binding getauscht werden 😅

Discovered when viewing the cathedral. Lovely Italian restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and also done lovely coffee. If you’re looking for fresh Italian food I’d recommend. The staff were also lovely!

We are very kind customers, I never give a bad review in my life. This is the first time. The waitress was very nice, but her manager was extremely rude. The place was 1/2 occupied. And he informed us in a very arrogant way they wont take the order due to crowd for the next 30 minutes. Not even for a drinks. And it was just three of us. It never happened to us before and we travel a lot.

I asked for a beer and it was warm, and an iced coffee which was really bad. And those 2 things for 12 euros…

I appreciate every job but I don't pay 25 euros for a schnitzel - the prices are too overpriced

If you go to an Italian restaurant in the hotspots in Rome or Florence, you are likely to be “ripped off”. Things are completely different here in this beautiful square in front of the cathedral! There is top-class cuisine and attentive, very hospitable staff. The menu is clear, pasta as well as desserts and cakes are homemade; everything is fresh and wholesome. But the “Frankfurt prices” are very fair - especially at this tourist attraction in the new old town. A foreign guest (probably with an American accent) asked us where “Kennedy Place” was, “the government building”. It took a while until we realized that JFK was a guest at the Römer in June 1963... Enough rambling… we had yesterday Spaghetti all'Arrabbiata (€14.90) Pork neck steak with eggplant and tomato confit (€22.90) Heavenly pannacotta with pear and lemon compote (€7.50) Espresso (€2.40) I have previously praised the Sion-Kölsch (€3.10) and the Bischof Riesling (€4.90 for a well-poured 0.1 l) here. The Pinot Blanc (€6.50 for 0.2 l) is also worthwhile.

Modern looking restaurant next to the Dom. I had an excellent spaghetti with asparagus, red onion and guanciale. Pasta was al dente and the asparagus was sweet and balanced the salty pork - delicious! My wife had potato gnocchi with a nice tomato based sauce but the gnocchi were a bit stodgy. Our friend had a very large prawn salad, very fresh and tasty. Washed down with a good dry Pino Grigio. The service was ordinary and there was an 'unfortunate' (?) mix up with the bill, being charged too much. Perhaps she thought tourists can't read a German rechnung?

One of the few addresses in downtown Frankfurt where you can still get something good to eat even late at night (after a concert or something similar). The staff is attentive and friendly; the menu is not very extensive, but with fine things; The quality of the food and wine is very good and the price-performance ratio is fair. The only negative point (if it bothers you) is the acoustics of the guest room - when it's full, communication is difficult.

The service was hard, the food wasn't really tasty (super hard chicken breast), the salad was drowned in oil and the paste was unfortunately only of so-so quality. The sanitary facilities are a disaster! All in all, not really recommended for the price.

Nice place, beautiful location near the cathedral and very kind staff but insufficient for the number of tables. They had the food after half an hour and after an hour and 10 minutes. Quite expensive considering the dishes chosen and the wait. (2 tomato purées and 2 gnocchi) We would have preferred them to warn us that they were too full or directed towards a faster menu

Difficult to book a table for a large group during the exhibition on the weekend & this place accepted our booking after trying many others. A mixed group including vegetarians made more difficult but there is plenty of choice on the menu here. Our group kept expanding but the restaurant accepted them all even though full. Have to say the food was excellent - all of the dishes very good & price reasonable. The service on the other hand was extremely slow - almost 3 hours to complete or dinner of just 2 courses. Price also reasonable for the quality

My wife and I tried to get in with 2 kids. While waiting to be seated, a group of 4 adults were welcomed in ahead of us. Then we were told they had a booking. Next, we were told that drinks and desert are not enough to get a table. Therefore, we had to walk out. Very rude person and a bad experience for us and our kids.

Consigliatissimo per tutti in particolare italiani che hanno voglia di un primo Italiano. Abbiamo preso fettuccine e gnocchi fatti in casa da loro e si sentiva. Personale gentilissimo e in parte italiano. Prezzi nella norma.

Fun restaurant in the middle of new old town attractions. Very interesting, mostly pasta menu, plus great drink menu. The food was just OK, however the pres soup was the best I've ever had. But the servings were nice and big. There aren't a lot of other lunch places around there, so this is a decent choice.

One of the strongest beers I’ve ever had was here. The service was pretty nice and pleasing actually, from the friendly and smiling employee meeting us at the door and following us to our table, to polite and attentive waiters working at our table. It was a bit loud in there.

Ein sehr beliebtes Restaurant mitten in Frankfurt am Main, nähe des Römerplatzes und direkt neben dem Dom. Wir waren bei einer Film Vorstellung im Haus am Dom und haben wieder einen Tisch für 2 im vollen Restaurant bekommen. Unsere Bedienung war wie immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen von guter Qualität und Preise sind auch im normalen Bereich. Vielen Dank und viel Erfolg!

War mit einem Bekannten dort am 26.10.2023. Sehr nettes Restaurant, schönes Ambiente, toller Name des Restaurants, sehr nette Bedienung, vor allem sehr aufmerksam und das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und sehr appetitlich. Es war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich zu Besuch war.

zufällig bei einem spaziergang durch die innenstadt hier gelandet und ohne reservierung einen platz bekommen (würde aber eine reservierung empfehlen, es war schnell voll) sehr nette bedienung, man bekommt vor dem essen eine kleine komplementäre vorspeise aus der küche das essen war perfekt, ganz frisch und sehr fein! das tiramisu war auch köstlich, sehr zu empfehlen das ambiente ist schön, mit großen fenstern, blick auf den dom und die fußgängerzone wir kommen gern wieder!

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Lokal in sehr schöner Lage, direkt am Dom. Das Essen ist sehr gut, das Presis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, und die Atmosphäre ist sehr einladend. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der ausgezeichnete und effektive Service. Besonders Basilio liest den Gästen jeden Wunsch förmlich von den Augen ab, ist höflich, ausgesprochen aufmerksam und immer mit 100% im Einsatz. Dabei hat er immer Zeit für einen Scherz und ein Lächeln für seine Gäste. Das gesamte Team ist gut eingespielt und alle helfen mit, dass man sich hier ausgesprochen willkommen fühlt.

Touristennepp! Haben hausgemachte Suppen bestellt- Tomatensuppe Arrabiata und Minestrone. Die Tomatensuppe schmeckte wie eine fertige Tomatensauce aus dem Glas, etwas verlängert. Die Minestrone bestand aus einer labberigen Brühe mit Tiefkühl- Kaisergemüsemischung, nachträglich dazugegügt. Dafür EUR 9,50 pro Teller! Fazit: auch in Touristenhotspots sollte ordentliches Essen serviert werden! Die Bedienung bekommt 5 Punkte - sehr freundlich!

Nicely located Italian restaurant with selective menu. Food was well prepared. There was almost 40 mins of waiting time between ordering to being served, each course (all food was ordered in the beginning) despite the restaurant having literally two other tables with guests. The waitress serving us was quite rude, other staff was nice and polite. Not recommended.

Portionen sind übersichtlich, geschmacklich italienerdurchschnitt. Tomatensauce auf den Cannelloni war absolut zu sauer. Bedienung war freundlich.

Nachdem wir als Familie schon nach der Taufe im Herbst 2021 dorthin eingeladen wurden, war es das Zusammen sein mit Essen nach der standesamtlichen Hochzeit am Römer am gestrigen Montag. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ebenso der Service vorzüglich.

Trovato per caso andando a visitare il duomo, un bel locale davvero, servizio impeccabile, il cibo buono e particolare, siamo rimasti tutti contenti della nostra scelta. Mi permetto di consigliare l’antipasto misto e la pasta fatta in casa. Prezzo adeguato, purtroppo in Germania l’acqua costa più della coca cola ma è così in tutti i locali.

Creo que ha sido en el mejor sitio donde hemos comido en Frankfurt. Pasta bien elaborada y buen sabor, con mucha variedad. Lo único, que ponen poca cantidad. Tienes que pedir casi 2 platos por persona. Tienen postres caseros buenos después, lo único que te puede salvar a no salir con hambre. Camareros atentos en todo momento.

Ich war hier früher schon einmal und muss sagen, die Qualität des Essens hat nachgelassen. Dabei war sie mal so gut. Das Essen war auch nicht besonders heiß. Aber man sitzt da sehr schön mit Blick auf den Dom.

Am Domplatz, gleich zu den Füßen des Frankfurter Dom's, Italienische Küche, ohne Pizza, hier bekommt man hausgemachte herrliche Pasta variationen und weitere leckere Gerichte! Das Team, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich 👍

Hausherr ist übrigens der Bischof von Limburg. Das Lokal gehört zu einem sehr großen Gebäudekomplex des Bistums Limburg, das sich "Haus am Dom" nennt. Pächter ist Signore Fiorentino. Der Italiener profitiert natürlich immens von der Lage und vom Tourismus, aber auch von Arbeitnehmer*innen der Innenstadt, die einen schnellen Lunch haben möchten. Darauf ist die Karte mittags in erster Linie ausgerichtet. Es ist daher auch keine große kulinarische Finesse zu erwarten. Abends mag die Sache anders aussehen, doch das kann ich nicht beurteilen. Schnell geht es aber dann leider doch nicht. Okay, wir waren eine größere Gruppe und da mag es sein, dass darauf geachtet wurde, alle Essen recht zeitgleich zu servieren, doch Wartezeit hatten wir und das obwohl der weitere Betrieb im Lokal moderat war. Die Portionen waren - ausgenommen die Salate - sehr überschaubar, um nicht zu sagen eher klein. Die Preise waren dafür leider etwas zu hoch. Geschmacklich lag man auch nur im Mittelfeld. Es war nichts Besonderes, leider. Der Service war weitgehend aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern und kühl, schwierig wird es jedoch bei Personen mit Behinderungen. Der Eingang geht über eine Schwelle (wir wurden über den Außenbereich eingelassen), das geht gerade noch so. Die Toiletten jedoch sind im Untergeschoss und das ist nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar. Ich vermute, dass es auf Anfrage möglich ist, eine Behinderten-gerechte Toilette im angrenzenden Haus am Dom (große Veranstaltungsräume) zu nutzen. Das scheint mir aber recht umständlich, sorry. Alles in allem war mir das Ganze zu uneinheitlich, das Konzept schwammig. Man möchte, so mein Eindruck, möglichst alles an Geschäft mitnehmen und so viel wie möglich vom Rahm abschöpfen, doch das scheint ein bisschen auf Kosten der Qualität und der Stimmigkeit zu gehen. Die Lage ist - wie gesagt - einmalig gut, doch genau das scheint auch die Crux an der Sache zu sein. Ich kann nur eine bedingte Empfehlung aussprechen. Vielleicht gestaltet es sich ja für den Gast am Abend anders?
