No information about company holidays!!! I had received a written reservation confirmation for August 2nd for two people. I'm traveling with my son from Schlangenbad to Frankfurt and am met with a locked door. What a disgrace!!! Why don't you get a notification about this when you make a reservation?

The parmiggiana (eggplant baked in tomato sauce) and the ravioli were solid, while the carbonara, unfortunately due to the chef's lack of patience, was overheated, causing the egg to curdle. There was guanciale and pepper in the carbonara, as it should be, but no Pecorino Romano. I helped myself to some parmiggiano. The wine and shandy arrived quickly, were perfectly tempered, and delicious, and the attentive service made Isoletta on the Berger, including the shady spot, a wonderful experience for us.

Once and never again! Parmigiana was 2 slices of eggplant and Gouda cheese instead of Parmesan for 12.50. Imagine how expensive! 2 slices of eggplant and Gouda cheese! The ravioli tasted great, but the shrimp from the bag were simply embarrassing.

On Whitsunday we wanted to go out to eat at Isoletta, but unfortunately the waiter didn't welcome us well. He was very arrogant and wanted to be right! With such service we left and chose another Italian restaurant. It's a shame for the owner. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

He is very accommodating and attentive, just what you would expect from a host! Very authentic Ravioli. perfect service

I stopped by there on May 1st last week to eat asparagus soup and baked asparagus. You can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle on Berger Straße. Service could have been a little quicker for my taste. I found it very nice that I received a limoncello on the house at the end.

I went to this restaurant for the first time on Tuesday evening with a friend and although the restaurant and the terrace were full, the staff managed to find a place for us with great friendliness and professionalism. The service was excellent: the two waiters were attentive, helpful and always smiling, even when they had so many customers to serve. We ate very well: tasty dishes, well presented and served in a reasonable time. The bathroom was also clean and tidy, which is always appreciated. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, perfect for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good Italian cuisine and attentive service. I will definitely come back!

When we arrived we received a friendly welcome, but after being completely lost, the waiter insisted that we sit with him as he wanted, forgetting to bring one of us the food, impatient and completely inattentive. He tried to apologize but still ended up making a mess when paying, what a shame the pinsa were dry as the desert and consisted almost entirely of rand. The pasta was also poorly seasoned, a shame

Unfortunately, while I was passing through again, I couldn't find the Pinsa restaurant from last time. That's why this fine shop. I quickly ordered 8 seats and the service was quick, friendly and flexible. My test is always the calzone. The pinsa was perfect with fresh ingredients. Everything with the others too. I can't say anything about the food. Just had something to drink. .... I think the staff is busy with themselves. After waving several times, no one comes. Totally annoying. In my opinion, friendliness is zero here. ... I'm definitely not coming anymore.

Ladies and Gentlemen I recently ordered your weekly special “Black spaghetti with aglio e olio and shrimps”. However, I was obviously served North Sea prawns. Since I, as a trained fish saleswoman, know exactly what shrimps look and taste like compared to North Sea shrimps, I feel deceived here. When I asked, I was unfortunately only briefly and condescendingly assured that they were “shrimps”. I would like the name in your menu to be adjusted correctly. Transparency is important not only for professionals, but also for all guests. Thank you!

This time we had the pinsas delivered. The dough of the vegan pinsa was delicious, but the topping was a disappointment. A pinsa with tomato sauce, rocket, mushrooms, pepperoni, grilled zucchini and eggplant was promised. However, only tomato sauce with zucchini and eggplant was delivered. It's clearly not enough for the price and seems carelessly put together. I've had better experiences in local restaurants - there the pinsas are richer and topped according to the menu. Unfortunately this time the quality that you would expect for this price was missing.

Friendly service. Pinsa was ok but the edge was very dry and very difficult to cut. Tables and chairs were very close together. There were only one toilet for men and women. Not that clean.

We went there on Christmas Day. It was open and very lively. We had no booking but Ali was kind to give us a table. We ended up spending 2 hours here. Handmade pastas , lovely desserts . Vegetarian friendly restaurant. Truffle tagliatelle pasta was 👍

Fantastically good food, very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately Berger streets usual parking situation, but if you can find one it's usually free after 6 p.m. Unfortunately there is only one toilet but it is at ground level except for the step at the entrance and the food is fantastically delicious.

The two of us wanted to sit at a table for 4 people. The waiter sternly said that 2 people couldn't sit here. There were also a lot of 2 people sitting at a table for 4 people. It's a place I've been many times. I don't think about coming anymore.

I was in Frankfurt with friends and we had dinner here, absurd prices on all dishes, a bottle of water 7.50 euros, same price as a Campari Spritz... a fried calamari 32.50 euros, a pinsa with mortadella and pistachio 16.90 euros... I think never go back again..and I'm Italian like the owner..

We went to eat here a nice Pinza. The staff welcomed us in a very kind and friendly way. The Italian staff was really very sociable and friendly with us. The place with the right seats, and is located in a nice location in Frankfurt. We ordered different flavors of Pinza and I can say that they were all very good. We did not know this place, but now that we know it we can go there often. Really a nice discovery.

Very tasty pinsa! We were there with a group and had reserved. There was even a reminder as to whether we wanted to sit inside or outside (changeable weather), which I found very thoughtful. The service was very nice, although you sometimes had to call several times to order something else. We all ate Pinsa, it was delivered super quickly and the dough was simply perfect and the toppings were very tasty. Dessert was also great. Card payment no problem. There was also limoncello on the house. We will be back!

So at first we waited a long time till we got the Menüs The mozzarella was bad,the so called truffle spaghetti was not tasting nor smelling anything like truffles,it was very salty and we as a whole group regretted going there. On top the bill was 165€ Never going there again.

Walked by by chance. Also Goodies on the menu for vegans. So together we have a table in the garden. Very friendly. Overview. Good service. Food excellent. Top Italian style. We went straight back the next day. Really nice. Just wait for the waiter. And they find a table for you. Nice that something like this exists in the middle of the “tourist trap” Thank you very much

Service is very poor. I waited for 10 minutes in the doors to be seated. Despite the restaurant was almost empty, nobody bothered to offer me a table, so I had to leave. Ridiculously bad but typical bad service.

The middle-aged man who claimed to be the boss of this restaurant had a very bad attitude towards the customers. We waited for 20 minutes to order. The first time we raised our hands to order, he saw it and did not say anything! We actively sought help from a lady, and her attitude was very good, but he refused. He said he would order for us himself! And the outdoor tables were dirty! When he came to take the order, he was very unfriendly. During the ordering process, he communicated with us in very poor English. During the ordering process, he said that we wasted his time. He also claimed to be the owner of this restaurant. We can eat if we want to, and we can leave if we don’t want to! It tastes a bit of racial discrimination.

Very bad and unfriendly service! We sat at the table for a long time with empty glasses. We were only able to pay after several inquiries. You sit close to the pedestrian zone, which was rather un-relaxed for us. Toilets weren't clean. The food was still tasty, reasonably priced and came quickly.

We came to the restaurant and waited for the waiter to come to us (while the restaurant was empty and very few people sitting). He didn’t come to us. So we ended up taking the menus and sat on a table. While we were sitting and waiting for this waiter. This waiter came to us and loudened his voice at us , took the menus away from us and slammed the menus on another wooden shelf/table and shouted “this is not self service, you need to wait till you get a table, you cannot sit outside” and again he said “this is not self service”. And the funny part is that there were 3 people sitting outside… we literally said sorry at first and we honestly regretted to apologize because he continued to be very rude and did not deserve an apology. We ended up leaving the restaurant because we felt that we were being kicked out based on his behavior. By the way, this man was short and a little fat and has a tattoo on his right arm. This waiter had 0 sympathy. He is not qualified to be a waiter. This is not how a waiter should treat their customers. Any customer would see this rude and extremely unprofessional. I know that in Germany, they like to be “very professional” in their work. So if such a society likes to stay professional with their work then this restaurant should be hiring people with professional attributes, NOT with vulgar behavior like his. Normally waiters like these get fired. But if they don’t get fired then they normally get strong training on hospitality and customer service.

I'm really surprised that this restaurant has a 4.3 star rating. This is the worst Isoletta branch. The meal was okay. This was staff so listless and annoyed with their own work. My friend got her Pinsa 40 minutes before mine. Mine was forgotten, and after asking twice, my Pinsa was given to me after 40 minutes. No small apology for the long wait etc. The waitress wasn't even honest enough to say that something was forgotten. She acted like I was the annoying one who asked for her pinsa. By the way, the shop wasn't full and all the guests next to us had already eaten. (approx. 9:15 p.m.) I'm used to a different service from Isoletta at other locations in Ffm and was really disappointed in Bornheim. Only the blonde young waiter was friendly to us.

We always enjoy coming here. The pinsa tastes very good. Personally, I think the dough is really good. The different variants are all recommended. At least the ones I've eaten so far. Also recommended are the pappardelle with salmon and the salads. Delicious wine and friendly service round the whole thing off perfectly, so we'll come back at any time.

The employee is a strong woman, very unfriendly and has no idea what she is doing. If you then point out criticism to her then you will be attacked by her. I would not recommend it.

Good Pinsa at definitely not cheap prices, but excellent location and nice environment. The waitress who served us was helpful and kind although it wasn't nice to see the superior scold her in front of everyone for showing us the wrong seat.

Original review from November 4th, 2023: We called there spontaneously on a Saturday at 5 p.m. and got a table for 8 p.m. Once we got there, we were allowed to sit there the whole evening without being sent away. We were even offered a better seat (Our seat was still comfortable and we stayed there). The starter was very large, as was the main course. The dessert was normal size (not small) and was even customized for us. All of the food was excellent and you could tell that most of it came from our own production. The waiter was extremely attentive and very friendly, you really felt well looked after. Addendum from April 9th, 2024: after we were happy there twice now, I invited the whole family yesterday, 6 people spontaneously found a place. The food was very good as always, but unfortunately all the portions have become smaller and noticeably so. On the first warm day of the year, everything outside was full, but we were pretty much alone inside. Still, we waited longer than we were used to. Even drinks took half an hour. The waitress was nice but a bit listless and spoke very quietly, meaning my grandfather with hearing aids couldn't understand her. All in all it was good, but it has definitely worn off. I hope this was an isolated incident because I really enjoy visiting this restaurant.

A focal point on Bergerstrasse in Frankfurt. Nice service, great food and the buffalo mozzarella there is awesome. You can also get it on the very tasty Pinsa there.

I went to the Italian Isoletta restaurant and I must say that the experience was really pleasant. The tongs I tasted were exceptional, with a light texture and an explosion of flavors thanks to the fresh ingredients used. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere. At the end of the dinner, they were kind enough to offer me coffee and limoncello, a gesture that made my evening even more special. I will definitely come back to taste other delicacies and enjoy the hospitality of the place.

I tried the Spaghetti Aglio E Olio. The portion size was generous, but the taste felt a bit heavy, and something seemed missing, though I can't quite pinpoint what. However, the price-quality ratio is fair. The service was good, and the atmosphere is pleasant, making it suitable for both dates and dining with friends. I plan to return to try their pinsa, which my friend mentioned is what they're actually famous for.

We had an appointment here for dinner at the weekend. The place was quite crowded and a bit noisy, but this suited the ambience well and created a lively atmosphere. The food met my expectations, especially the Pinsa (Pinsa Marlene and Pinsa Buffalotta) which tasted really delicious. The prices for the food are "a tad" higher, but still reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, the service was friendly and attentive, although due to the high volume of operations it was necessary to ask several times. There were delays, especially with the drinks. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant because of the good food, the reasonable prices and the friendly atmosphere. It is advisable to book in advance to ensure you get a spot as the place is obviously very popular.

Came here spontaneously this afternoon. The very friendly waitress offered us a few tables to choose from. We ordered 2 pinsas. Prices have risen, which is due to the tax increase. The quality has remained the same, namely very good. Our food was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We were so happy with the food we came back for dinner and had more truffle pasta, lasagna, and tiramisu on the same day. Vegetarian options are available. Busy place, located on the main street, heading to Romerberg Square.

Seit Jahren UNSER Italiener zu dem wir mindestens 1x pro Woche MÜSSEN…Super essen…der beste Service der Stadt…doch leider kommt jetzt das aber: plötzlich nur noch Kartenzahlung möglich…das finden wir die immer mit mehreren Familien da sind einfach nicht gut!!!

Das schnellste Essen was wir bekommen haben in einem Restaurant. Ich war bereits 3x dort. Die Pinsa sah und ist total köstlich, sehr zu empfehlen. Bei der Vorspeise hätte ich mir knuspriges warmes Brot erwartet, dennoch war es geschmacklich gut. Update 18.11.23 Freitag Abend dort nicht über Lieferando bestellen, Katastrophe. 21 Uhr bestellt, 22.12 Uhr muss man dort selbst anrufen, warum die Lieferzeit erst um 23.49 bestätigt wird. Um am Telefon gesagt zu bekommen, dass Sie das nicht gewesen sind. Frech!

Schöner kleiner Italiener auf der Berger Straße. Statt Pizza gibt es die - aus anderen Mehlen gemachte - Pinsa. Dazu frische Nudelgerichte und allerhand mit Mozzarella. Und hat alles gut geschmeckt. Dazu ein freundlicher Service. Ganz klare Empfehlung für einen leckeren Abend.

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Wir haben zu weit jeweils eine pinsa und ein Wein getrunken und sind auf 60€ gekommen. Viel zu teuer! Eine pinsa ist auch nur die kleine Schwester der Pizza und hierfür zahle ich in der besten Pizzaria der Stadt niemals solche Preise.

Leckere Gerichte und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Unser Betriebsausflug endete bei diesem Italiener. Alle waren begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
