Wonderful traditional pizzeria. The price/performance ratio is fantastic! The food is freshly prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful pizzeria.

Today I'm visiting my favorite restaurant again for excellent Italian food, which reminds me of Mama Italian's kitchen. I've been a regular there for over 13 years. It's amazing that this restaurant has been under the same ownership for almost 20 years, which is a rarity in the restaurant industry. When you walk in, you feel like you're in Italy and are served authentic Italian dishes. The charming couple who own the place completes the experience. Highly recommended in one of Frankfurt's most beautiful neighborhoods!

It was the worst experience with a restaurant in my life. At 21:25, we kindly asked about the opening hours and if we would have enough time for another bottle of wine. The answer was that they are open until 22:30 (which is also posted on the doors), so we ordered it. Along with the bottle of wine, we received the check, although we didn't ask for it. At 22:00, they started closing without saying anything. At 22:10, they closed, turned off the lights, and left. We were left to sit in the dark, because we had one of the tables on the street. What if one of us wanted to go to the toilet? Why didn't they tell us that they are open only until 22:00? This kind of attitude towards guests and hospitality is simply unacceptable! They didn't show any respect. Actually, they respect you until they get money...

Nice little pizzeria with fresh, delicious food

Unfortunately, I found a hair in my salad. The server pointed it out. I was then given a new salad – unfortunately, it again had a dark hair in it – simply unbelievable. I'm blonde myself. The manager then came on his own, and I had to explain that a hair had been found in the salads delivered. Are there any words left for that? No apology from the manager – nothing. This was my third time here in about three years and definitely the very last time. Fortunately, I was with someone. My companion, the guests at the neighboring tables, and the two waitresses witnessed the entire unacceptable behavior of the manager. And they all just shook their heads in incomprehension at such behavior towards a customer. Fortunately, there are more than enough Italian restaurants/pizzerias on the lower Oeder Weg and the neighboring Eckenheimer Landstraße.

We've been coming here regularly for years. The food is truly excellent, and the atmosphere is very informal and welcoming. You immediately feel at home. The service is excellent. Personally, I just miss the card payment option; they only accept cash, so -1.

Grande Cinema! A small, fine Italian restaurant in Frankfurt's Nordend district. Simply delicious and fair. Insider tips: The mixed grilled vegetables for starters and the gnocchoni filled with truffles in porcini mushroom cream for the main course.

I was looking forward to a pizza with anchovies. Unfortunately there were no anchovies to be found on the pizza. An espresso or grappa would have been nice as a small compensation. Unfortunately there was only 1€ deducted from the bill :-(. The dough was way too thick, I prefer it thin and crispy.

There were 4 people. We ordered various spaghetti at 7:00 PM. Two dishes arrived at 7:30 PM, and nothing more until 8:00 PM! I got up because I didn't want to wait any longer. Cheap, yes, but the service was terrible.

There's a certain charm to this little pizzeria. The food was good and the prices are low. It's a shame that they don't accept EC cards, which is probably why the prices are so low.

You can have a reasonably priced and traditional Italian meal here - properly and without any culinary fireworks - provided you accept a rather poor hospitality. We also laughed in surprise when we were charged for the nightcap - scribbled on it with a pen! Conclusion: an Italian cafeteria run by the local population who accepts the unsympathetic host because it is a cheap restaurant.

The boss of the store is a very rude man, he hasn't learned how to deal with customers in his life. I advise everyone not to eat here otherwise you will have the same experience with children and sit outside in the wet even though you wanted to have a nice evening!

Wonderful little trattoria. Real Italian atmosphere, very nice staff, good service and a good selection of delicious dishes.

Small, cute family-run pizzeria and trattoria. We didn't have a reservation and still got a seat. We ordered mussels in white wine sauce and mussels with spaghetti, even though that wasn't on the menu, Monica and Vito made it possible. The mussels were excellent. We have always had excellent food there and really enjoy coming there. In summer there is an open outdoor area, in winter the area is protected and provided with radiant heaters.

The small, nice family pizzeria in the Nordend since 2006 in the Nordend. The visit is always worth it. The family business is simply fun. At lunchtime there is a lunch menu at good prices. In addition to the standard menu, there are alternating dishes on the board. My personal recommendations are Rigatoni Kitti(al Forno) and the Pizza Diavolo. Or just test it yourself. Indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and space.

Simply but very stylishly furnished in a 50's atmosphere, you feel like you are in Italy in the middle of the north end and then there is the super nice service and the delicious food at very reasonable prices. Today, July 18th, 24, I was here with the HR weatherman Fridolin, he enjoyed it so much that he let the sun shine without clouds!!!!

The food tasted very good. We got a table without a reservation. We had the fish and the pasta with shrimps beforehand and a starter with bruschetta. The pasta wasn't quite cooked through in some places. But that was ok because it was good in terms of quality and taste. The fish very tender. Unfortunately, the owner was very arrogant, which initially put a damper on the mood.

Visiting Frankfurt and then such luck. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Small cozy restaurant. As a starter, chicken soup and bruscetta, you can tell it's an Italian cooking there, just great. Then the main course, homemade gnocchi, stuffed, something we had never eaten before, even in Italy. Wir kamen hier extra aus Mannheim da wir schon sehr viel Gutes von dieser Pizzeria/Trattoria gehört haben :-) Ich kann das mit der Unfreundlichkeit des Besitzers überhaupt nicht verstehen! Wir wurden sehr nett und professionell behandelt. Sei es vom Besitzer, Ehefrau und Personal! Das Essen? Mega! Geschmacklich? TOP! Die Preise? Hammer! Hallo ? Wo bekommt man ein Glas Primitivo 0,2 für 3,50€?? Hab ich seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gesehen! Wann immer wir uns wieder in Frankfurt befinden, wir kommen wieder! Grazie Mille!

Ich war nun schon häufiger bei Da Monica und die Pizza hat jedes Mal sehr gut geschmeckt! Der Service war trotz vollem Restaurant sehr zügig und freundlich. Ich komme gerne zu euch. :-)

My friend and I who just moved to the neighborhood, were very pleasantly surprised by this excellent Italian neighborhood restaurant. The place is charming, service was great and the food was delicious. Beer on draught was superb! Highly recommended restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Das hätte alles besser laufen dürfen, Reservierung hieß es kaum Platz, sieben Tische wurden nicht besucht!, Essen solala, besser geht auf jeden Fall...., lange warten obwohl recht leeres Lokal...macht euch mal Gedanken ...es gibt genügend Konkurrenz

Wirklich sehr schlechte Qualität, unglaublich wie dieser Laden neben sovielen Italienern überlebt hat. Pure Enttäuschung, schlechtester Italiener, den ich in Deutschland gesehen habe. Salami aus der Plastikverpackung- Qualität, das geht gar nicht!
