Great vegan offer. Also very tasty and diverse.

- The brunch is varied, but of poor quality. - Card payment is only possible from €30. - Drinks have a long wait when there is little traffic. - While eating, the feather duster is passed next to you so that the dust and everything else that came with it falls onto the table. So super disgusting. - The waitresses come to the table with their mouths full or fill up the buffet while chewing.

The best restaurant in Darmstadt, great atmosphere and a great team. The food is wonderful.

The three of us were there for Sunday breakfast. Good selection, everything we tried was delicious, freshly baked bread 🍞 and rolls, salads and dips are highlights.

This was my first and last time eating here. I had a burrito that I didn't like at all. There should be minced meat in it, you have to look for it. The cocktail was also really bad. And then spent over €50. A disgrace. The toilet paper was empty in the toilet. Unfortunately, I noticed this too late. The service was a bit rough. Unfortunately not recommended

Kudos to the chef! The food was absolutely fantastic. The cocktails are top 👍🏽 The blonde waitress was absolutely great! Friendly, attentive and funny! The visit here was absolutely worth it!!! Great location! Keep it up 👍🏽

We enjoyed our dinner here. The atmosphere is really lovely and staff were very friendly. The food is good value fir money and lots to choose from. The variety of cocktails is great.

Went to the breakfast buffet on Sunday and were initially impressed by the large, delicious selection. That would have given it 5 stars. Unfortunately, just 2 hours after the start, a lot of things were empty and were no longer refilled. Even the juices were empty at some point without being refilled. It would be nice if that could be improved.

Rechtfertigt aber in keinster Weise die hohen Preise! Ebenso die Getränke sehr teuer... Vorsicht vorm Steakteller . Kleine Portionen... Empfehle für Cubanisches Essen Havanna in Darmstadt ! We went to Cubana for the first time yesterday and were super satisfied. We had such great waitresses, so nice and warm. Rarely have I experienced such nice staff. We come from Mainz and we would also like to have a restaurant like that. Thanks for the great evening.

Unfortunately now too expensive for what is offered. Prices have increased massively in the last 12-24 months. Most of it tastes delicious. The milkshakes taste strange. Delicious cocktails.

Cocktails are great, even the non-alcoholic ones, and the food (especially the spaghetti carbonara) is excellent. The service is extremely friendly and nice. The ambient music could be a bit more specifically Cuban.

Very nice, professional and atmospheric place to be. I was here already 5 times during this Year due to the fact that they provide by fare the best Cocktails in Darmstadt and the wider Area. Food is also good, but not the main reason to get here from my point of view. It's not super cheap, but the waiters are very friendly, professional and you don't have to wait long for the ordering or the delivery overall. Best Bar in Darmstadt for sure in terms of quality!

Very tasty breakfast buffet with a very large selection. Enough space so that you can easily get to everything. Everything was freshly made, very tasty. Mega friendly staff. Price performance is great. Parking possible in the yard.

Ambiance okay, cocktails absolutely solid. Good to have the Cubana in Bessungen. Opening hours are not correct, the doors are closed in the evening even though it is supposed to be open until 1am.

Been there a few times now for breakfast on Sunday. Everything we tried was delicious. A great selection, lots of vegan products, very friendly and attentive service. You can stay seated until the end and won't be thrown out after 2 hours. We prefer to sit in the winter garden because the actual restaurant is a bit too dark for us. But that's just a matter of taste. Keep it up :)

I had a great breakfast with friends!

The breakfast buffet was really varied, tasty and was always refilled when it was empty. The waitress always smiled, so you felt comfortable. We will be happy to use this again and again. It is definitely recommended and for the price, many hotels can take a page from it.

We were there on Saturday evening. We actually had fond memories of Cubana, but this time we were bitterly disappointed. When ordering the drinks, one of us simply forgot to ask what he wanted. Ok, that can happen, but it shouldn't actually happen. When the food was brought out, something was missing again. Cocktails took a long time to reach the table even though Cubana wasn't very busy. But these were really tasty. Otherwise, the service wasn't that good either. We are used to it differently. Conclusion for us this time, food is fine, cocktails are delicious but delivery time is too long, ambience is very nice, service unfortunately not commendable so we won't go to Cubana again for the time being...

We went out for a spontaneous meal on a Saturday evening in a group of 10 people. However, it was quite empty. I personally found the menu lacking inspiration, but I did like the food. Unfortunately one meal was prepared incorrectly, so it arrived 20 minutes later than all the others. This was communicated to us openly and transparently. The drinks were also very tasty. The service staff is perhaps a little too warm (was also called a darling several times), but she does her best. What doesn't work at all (!) for me: card payments are only possible from 30 euros. When I asked at the checkout whether it was written anywhere (on the menu or on a sign) I was told no. So I couldn't have known it beforehand. In a restaurant where, according to Google, an average consumption of 20-30 euros, I'm surprised. Otherwise nice atmosphere and nicely decorated.

Cozy bar with good Caribbean food and of course a large number of cocktails. The prices for the food are now quite reasonable. The service is courteous and prompt. There is also a separate smoking room, but unfortunately cigars are prohibited. That wouldn't exist in Cuba...

There is not a lot of choice of restaurants within walking distance in DA-Bessungen. That's why Cubana is already in the right place. However, the quality of the dishes and drinks has decreased somewhat...

Went here for the breakfast buffet and loved it. The price was a little higher, but everything was there and it was constantly being replenished. In my opinion the price is justified and not as crowded as other restaurants. Maybe an idea for the future to include one coffee per person?

We were there for Sunday brunch around noon (11 a.m.). Unfortunately, the buffet had already been cleared out, which surprised us since the brunch runs until 2:30 p.m. The selection of rolls in particular left a lot to be desired. There was only toast, baguette and white rolls. The selection of antipasti and salads was good. The cheese selection wasn't very large. All in all, you should probably come earlier or in the winter when there is more going on. It is also understandable that for 5-6 tables the entire buffet is not constantly refilled and then a lot has to be thrown away in the end.

I would not recommend eating there. Food is made from low quality ingredients. Having drinks is ok but don’t expect lots of alcohol in them.

The following experience only relates to the brunch buffet and one thing in advance, it was really good! I became aware of the brunch because a “vegan corner” has recently been offered. To my delight, because the offering was varied and, above all, creative. Here is a small impression (not exhaustive), two types of hummus, bulgur pasta and chickpea salads, vegan egg salad, and a vegan sausage and cheese platter. A positive surprise: the cake and other desserts were also vegan. Everything was good quality and the service was very attentive. The following for your information, the vegan offering varies in some cases and my visit was on a Sunday at lunchtime. A few dishes were already out or almost empty. Overall, a real recommendation!

Today we went to Cu Bana for the first time. The beautiful ambience impressed me straight away. My family and I were brought to the table by a very friendly waitress. The breakfast buffet offering was gigantic. There was plenty of choice of vegan, vegetarian and meaty dishes. There were cakes, desserts and lots of other delicious things. Wishes do not remain unfulfilled here. We'll definitely be back. 🥰

I have never experienced such a rich and varied brunch! Fruits, vegan, meat, sausage, fish, cheese, desserts, cakes, fruit, vegetables, salads, everything is there and incredibly good! Very attentive friendly staff! The 10 of us with children and dog felt very comfortable!

Great cocktails and delicious food too. Unfortunately it has become very bright for some time now. I found the shop even more charming because of its dim, gloomy appearance. Always happy because of the great cocktails.🍹 The favorite is the Mai Tai decorated with burning rum in a kiwi. Update: There is now also a breakfast and brunch buffet on Sundays. Highly recommended 😋

Visited this place for a V-Day dinner for the first time. Huge place, with different areas of seating depending on your vibes. Where we sat was a bit dull compared to the inner more energetic environment. We ordered drinks, one starter (not pictured here) that was shared between 2 and two main dishes which we could not finish as the portions were huge. The drinks were absolutely great but the taste of food could have been a little better. The portions felt bulky and a bit under seasoned but maybe that’s just my Indian tastebuds 😛 All in all a good place to visit with a bunch of friends or your SO. We were first asked to pay cash (saying that the card machine was out of order), but when the staff saw us struggling to get cash (we were not carrying any), they said that the card machine was working.

Just the right thing to relax. Visually an eye-catcher and the service is also great.

Ich war das erste mal seit vielen Jahren wieder im Cubana und musste feststellen: Die Cocktails können immer noch was 😊 Man sitzt nett, die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam und die Toiletten sauber. Wir haben nichts gegessen und können dazu nichts sagen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil es wirklich im ganzen Lokal leicht nach Zigaretten gerochen hat.

Am servit o pizza bună în liniște, parcare gratuita, personal amabil.

Man kann hier echt sehr angenehm sitzen und die Cocktails sind echt voll in Ordnung aber das Essen hat tiefkühl Niveau. Also wirklich hier am besten keine Pizzen essen. Kellnerin war aber sehr höflich und wir durften etwas länger bleiben.

Extrem gute Drinks🍸 und sau-gutes Essen🥗🥓🥘😋 Außerdem ist das Personal (also die schönen und supercoolen Menschen, sie dort arbeiten) sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, nett und oft auch gut drauf☺. Die Frauen sind echt alle attraktiv und sexy und die Herren sind echt handsome! Nee, 🧡. Spaß bei Seite - fund es exht cool 😎 hier. War erst zwei mal hier und muss sagen, dass der Laden nicht nur eine saumäßig große Auswahl an Getränken hat, die alle ziemlich gut sind, sondern dass das Essen auch sehr gut 👍 ist und der Raum ist gut geschmückt, es gibt ein Klavier 🎹 dort sogar. Gefällt mir sehr hier :)

Wir waren Samstags gegen 23.30 Uhr um mit 8 Personen in einen Geburtstag zu feiern. Leider wurde um kurz nach 0 Uhr die Musik ausgemacht, die Stühle hoch gestellt und kassiert. Also zum rein feiern nicht geeignet!

Das Essen ist super lecker. Die Salate und die Rohkost sind immer frisch. Die Cocktails sind geschmackvoll und mit Liebe (und viel Alkohol) zubereitet. Darüber hinaus sind faire Preise gegeben! Wir waren schon oft hier und die Qualität ist jedes mal hoch.

Very interesting Interpretation of Mexican/Spanish food and cocktails in general. Depending what you are looking for, this might be your place, but it is standard and you should not expect genuine local Mexican or Spanish food quality. 2 Stars because I have high expectations when it comes to food and drinks. The interior I liked very much.

Ambiente macht einen soliden Eindruck. Das Essen ist in jedem Fall extrem überteuert und schmeckt nach Fertigware. Zudem ist es eine Frechheit 30min auf so ein Essen zu warten. Cocktails könnte man auch für einen wenigstens einigermaßen humanen Preis verkaufen. In der Qualität bekomme ich selbst in einem Discounter für 2€ den gleichen Coktail. Sorry aber wer zahlt bitte 18€ für so einen Quatsch???!!

Super eingerichtetes Restaurant freundliche Bedienung angenehmes Klima jedoch leider deutlich zu teure Preise für Mahlzeiten - hauptsächlich Pizza Finde es nicht grade vorteilhaft für eine billig tiefkühl pizza fast 10 € zu verlangen und mehr als 30 Minuten bei geringer Auslastung warten zu müssen während man das gleiche Produkt im Discounter für 1 € bekommt Cocktails schmecken gut sind jedoch ebenso viel zu teuer im Preis Leistungs Verhältnis wie die Mahlzeiten

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im Cubana. Essen und Cocktails super und die Bedienung war spitzenmäßig, besser geht es gar nicht. Da kann sich das Enchilada mal ne Scheibe von abschneiden!

Das Essen und die Umgebung ist ok. Aber der Service ist sehr schwach. Das Zimmermädchen ist sehr unhöflich und sehr schlecht über die Speisekarte informiert.

Wunderschönes Ambiente, das Essen und Cocktails auch wie immer wunderbar ! Aber , leider hatte die Bedienung die eigentlich schon für mich zum Inventar gehört momentan keine Lust mehr ! Zumindestens fühlte es sich auch so an! Schade , weil das führt dazu das ich erst mal nicht mehr kommen werde !

Habe meine Frau zum Geburtstag eingeladen. Trotz Vorreservierung ist man nicht darauf eingegangen ... obwohl der Laden um 17 Uhr leer war, wurde gemeckert dass wir uns umgesetzt haben wegen Windzug. Ambiente ist gut und authentisch. Das war's leider auch schon!!! Das Essen langweilig und teuer!!! Die Cocktails ebenfalls zu teuer - keine Happy Hour oder Ermäßigungen wie in ähnlichen Locations. Ein Tellerchen Vorspeise mit 3 eingelegten Peperonis aus dem Glas und 2 Löffel Aioli mit 5 dünnen Baguettscheibchen = 6,50€ !!! Pan tostado = 5 kleine Baguettscheiben mit Feta drüber für 9,30€ !!!! Hammer Hauptspeise: die Rollos sind alle gleich nur leicht die Füllung verändert je nach der Bezeichnung - von der Grösse ausreichend NICHT wie die Vorspeise und zw. 14.90€ und 20€ noch akzeptabel aber nixxx Besonderes... Die Bedienung voll asozial und stinkte, ohne Namensschild und Kenntnisse... Wir werden nicht wiederkommen. Dann lieber Enchilada o.Ä. ist ein riesen Unterschied!!

Wir waren dort nach einem Auftritt (wohlgemerkt angekündigt) Essen, bzw war das der Plan. Ich habe über zwei Stunden gewartet und war damit kein Einzelfall, als ich mich nach meinem Essen erkundigt habe und gehen wollte, schien es so, als seie die von mir aufgegebene Bestellung noch nicht einmal angefangen. Das Personal war teils versucht freundlich und teils unhöflich, es gab keine Auskunft über die Gründe der Langen Wartezeit, geschweige denn einer Entschuldigung/Entschädigung. Es erfolgte nur ein unangebrachter Versuch einer Entschuldigung (ich wurde Schatz genannt), nachdem ich sagte, ich würde gehen. Die Stühle werden nach einer Zeit unbequem, es ist eigentlich ganz hübsch eingerichtet, wenn auch ein wenig Kulissenhaft. Unter Umständen könnte es hier vielleicht ganz nett sein.

das cubana hat NULL charme. auf den ersten blick wirkt es bunt & interessant. der zweite blick zeigt die dort gelebte lieblosigkeit… viel zu grelle beleuchtung, der durchgang zum raucherbereich ist stets offen, es stinkt im NR-bereich nach rauch. dieser laden hat eine fürchterliche akustik: es ist sehr laut, trotz ausgesprochen weniger gäste & die musikboxen spielen völlig verrückt ~ schalten sich offensichtlich selbstständig quer durch den raum ein und aus. die unfreundlichen bedienungen sind wenig an gutem service interessiert & stehen lieber essend & mit kolleg:innen quatschend an der bar. unsere serviererin kam zudem wirklich JEDES MAL kauend & mürrisch an unseren tisch. die preise sind übertrieben hoch und die qualität des essens (unterer durchschnitt) eine zumutung! auch die getränkepreise sind unverschämt überteuert: gin tonic für 18,50 € / cocktails ab 10,00 €. daumen runter für dieses lokal!

Haben nur was getrunken dort. Das Essen der anderen Gäste sah aber echt lecker aus! Der Cocktail war wirklich gut! Schöne Atmosphäre.

Wir kommen seit Jahren ins Cubana und es gab noch nie einen Grund zur Beanstandung. Im Gegenteil, es wurde immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Ja es ist etwas teurer geworden, aber das ist ja wohl nach Pandemie und in dieser Zeit normal. Hervorheben möchte ich den außerordentlichen Service von der zauberhaften Anica!!! Du bist immer zuvorkommend und wir freuen uns jedes Mal auf Dich!

We went here a while back already, but it's ingraved in my mind! The cocktails were nice, dont expect the best you will ever have, but in general, they were good. We were there with a bigger group and so had a wide variety of cocktails. Even though i personally like the sweeter cocktails, some were a bit too sweet for my taste. But this is where it all went downhill. We were waiting for the food for a while, so some members of our group went for a smoke or the toilet, so when the food finally arrived there were 3 of the 10 people on the table. We tried to help them with the places of the order but were not sure about them. Once everyone was back, we realised we didn't get all the correct orders! However, this was apparent all our fault if we had to believe the waiter. We went back 4 times until they came to the table to check it out. It was clearly wrong since we had 2 with chicken but only 1 chicken dish. Here, the first reaction was to say that one of us was hiding it. After we all showed our beef in the role. She took the plate angerly and walked away. No apology or anything. Then, when it finally came back, the burrito was burnt on the top. Like fully black !!! My recommendation is do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!They made us out for liars, and once they found out it was indeed their fault they didn't apologise but brought us burnt food back !!!!!!

Essen nicht lecker Service unhöflich

Gestern Abend dort gewesen, wieder einmal die unfreundliche Bedienung gehabt. Das nächste was mich wirklich auf die Palme gebracht hat, war beim bezahlen, als ich mit Karte bezahlen wollte hieß es zu erst Zitar: "Karte geht heute nur schlecht" nach dem meine Begleitung meinte Sie könne bar bezahlen, ging mit einmal die Karte Zahlung gar nicht mehr! Warum hängt man da nicht ein Schild an die Tür oder sagt es den Gästen wenn man ihnen die Karte bringt? Unmöglich sowas!!! Man könnte fast meinen das man dort keinen elektronischen Nachweis über die Einnahmen haben will! Zum Glück gibt es genug andere Bars.

Sehr schön eingerichtet. Da kommt Urlaub feeling auf. Die Cocktails waren auch gut.
