Soooo delicious and the presentation of the sushi is amazing

Good sushi. It was our first time there. We'd gladly return. The menu is exactly the same as An Thoc in Radevormwald.

Once again... excellent food. The soup to start with, no matter which one you choose, was all incredibly well-balanced in flavor, fresh vegetables... The chicken curry, buttery and delicious... unbelievable... The sparkling wine to start with, the wines, excellent. We'll be back.

We had a bowl, a sushi platter, and various individual sushi dishes – everything was freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and tasted excellent. The quality, freshness, and presentation left nothing to be desired. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is fast. The ambiance invites you to linger – both inside and outside. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered.

I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a sushi restaurant—until we entered Cu Thoc. Words barely suffice to describe what we experienced here. It wasn't just dinner. It was a revelation. A culinary embrace. A warm light in a cold world. The waiter—my goodness! So attentive, so warm, so full of energy that we briefly wondered if he was a secret angel on earth. He looked after us as if we were king and queen on a sushi throne. The drinks? Wow! I'm pretty sure a tear of emotion rolled down my cheek with the first sip. Fresh, lovingly mixed, with a touch of magic and an aftertaste of "I never want this to end." And then the ambiance! You feel like you're in a dream of bamboo, fragrance, and bliss. Time stood still. Our hearts felt light. And our stomachs—blissfully full. We didn't just leave feeling full. We were inspired. Touched. And deeply grateful. Cu Thoc – you are not just a restaurant. You are a feeling. A place where you can taste life. We'll be back. Again and again. And bring everyone we love with us. "A little over-the-top, but it was delicious."

Very good Vietnamese food. The service is excellent and very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The outdoor seating is also very comfortable. The only minor complaint I have is the portion size. I could have eaten the main course twice, because it really wasn't enough. Unfortunately, my wife wasn't full either. Perhaps the restaurant can work on that. Then it would be perfect, and the fifth star would be well deserved!

The place has an unusual seating concept. It's definitely not to everyone's taste. But the food is excellent. It tastes great. Prices are moderate.

First, the worst. I had made an appointment by phone for 5 p.m. and was told twice that we could only get a table until 7 p.m. Making a reservation by phone was very difficult due to communication problems. Even though I had announced that I had a dog, it seemed very difficult to offer us a table, and then we had to move again anyway. We were also told at least three times that our table was only reserved until 7 p.m. Even though there weren't many guests yet, the three employees seemed to be in a state of panic and hecticness that was completely incomprehensible. They also barely gave us time to study the menu. Then I had the appetizer, and I honestly admit, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting such a perfect performance. And then came the main course. A platter for two people with artificial fog!!!! The visuals were stunning! Truly professional and lovingly presented. There was nothing worthy of criticism. Perhaps the wasabi could have been arranged in the shape of florets, as I've experienced elsewhere. Everything was perfect! The salmon was beautifully presented, the sushi perfectly rolled, and perfectly presented on the slate board. The salad was beautifully tied together in portions. Everything was simply superb. The fact that I gave it the highest possible score despite what I considered to be a very negative service from one person proves that the food was simply perfect. I will soon be willing to make the 50-minute journey again to enjoy another delicious meal at Marktplatz number 15... A big thank you to the chef. Best regards, Martin.

The only downside is the ambiance; it's a bit cramped and therefore a bit hectic, so you have to be lucky with a seat, then it's not so bad. It's better to reserve a table.

There were four of us there and we ate different Asian dishes. First there was sushi in tempura. The sushi was good. The main courses were bland and nothing special. The service was distant and inattentive the entire time. We won't be coming back.

You can simply taste the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine. The service was super friendly, attentive and warm - we immediately felt welcome. What was very disturbing was that I think the boss constantly came to the table and interrupted our conversations and asked how long we would be staying. Bad service! We arrived with one more person than advertised. Normally, this isn't a problem, but unfortunately, it was here. The owner sent us home and made absolutely no effort to find a solution. However, there was an option to make room for one more person.

The food here is delicious, beautifully presented, and there are many vegetarian dishes to choose from. The service is friendly, and the food arrives fairly quickly. It's always quite busy here. If you're lucky, the other guests act as if they weren't alone, so you can have a decent conversation.

Wow. That was the first thing I thought about the next day when I thought back to the evening. Not only that I was there with lovely people, but also about the food. I've eaten quite a bit of sushi in my life, and the sushi you get here is among my top three. The appetizer, of which I don't have a photo, was also excellent, and the people I was with praised their food. Whether it was the miso soup, the mango salad, or the Thai curry with crispy fried chicken, I'd happily drive the 40 minutes back here again to eat the delicious sushi. The atmosphere was also very nice, and the service was very friendly and even explained to us what to look for when drinking Vietnamese coffee. It was also different from the German version and also very tasty.

I'm really excited. Food is really great. I had the 38 (slightly spicy). It was great. The duck was really good and the sauce had a really good spiciness to it. Please be careful here. I like to eat very spicy food. The sauce had quite a bit of spiciness, but it didn't come at the expense of the taste. According to my wife, the sushi is also very good. The staff is really friendly and quick.

Tolles asiatisches Restaurant. Wir haben zu viert die große Sushiplatte bestellt, zwei Vorspeisen und ein Mango-Curry und alles war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Der Thunfisch auf der Sushiplatte war super frisch und auch das Sushi war schmackhaft zubereitet. Außerdem wurde das Essen wirklich schön angerichtet. Wir haben nie länger als 5 Minuten auf Speisen und Getränke gewartet. Große Weiterempfehlung!

The food is very tasty but the service is sometimes very unfriendly They are open at lunchtime until 3 p.m. If you come at 2:15 p.m. you will be told in a harsh tone that we will close at 3 p.m.! If you don't want to open until 3 p.m. you should change it and not treat the guests unfriendly!

Ingesamt eine durchnittliche Leistung. Es hat allen geschmeckt, aber es war allen Essern viel zu wenig gewürzt. Ein Gericht, dass als leicht scharf angeboten wird, war tatsächlich fast ungewürzt. Die Atmosphäre ist schön, aber kleiner als es auf den Bilder auf der Homepage den Eindruck macht. Das Personal war freundlich.

Overall an average performance. Everyone enjoyed it, but it wasn't seasoned enough for everyone who ate it. A dish that was advertised as slightly spicy was actually almost unseasoned. The atmosphere is nice, but smaller than it appears in the pictures on the homepage. The staff was friendly.

Der Preis ist nicht niedrig allerdings jeden Cent wert ein gutes Restaurant muss auch gut bezahlt werden definitiv eine Empfehlung jeder der etwas anderes hier schreibt hat keine Ahnung vom Essen und von guten qualitativ hochwertigen Lebensmitteln

Bestes Essen, sehr lecker. Wir gehen dort regelmäßig hin und werden immer sehr freundlich bedient. Geschmacklich einwandfrei. Es gibt mehrere Mittagsmenüs für den kleinen Geldbeutel, aber auch die Gesamtkarte weist günstige Gerichte auf. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Restaurants fast keine Preiserhöhung in 2024.

We ordered the vegan Buddha curry and asked for tofu instead of saitan. We were then advised to try the other curry, but it was with milk. We then specifically asked for a vegan curry with tofu. Either this was not understood or people thought “we wouldn’t notice it anyway”. When we ate we were unsure about the taste, and an hour later we were greeted by intolerance. On the one hand, it is an impertinence to unknowingly present dairy products to a vegan, and on the other hand, it borders on bodily harm if you have intolerances or allergies. We can't eat Saitan and can't tolerate dairy products, so the order was "not even" because "we're just vegans".... Especially since we chose the restaurant because it offers so many vegan dishes. The curry didn't even taste like curry but like coconut milk with chili oil and milk... curry paste didn't even taste like it.
