Great food, beautiful cocktails, wonderful, friendly international staff.

Unfortunately the spice bags were disappointing, there was no spice or chilli oil on it, just plain chips and plain tofu (it said “vegan chicken” on the menu..) it was quite a disappointment for 14€. They look way better in previous review photos. I understand they are closing soon and maybe are missing some ingredients, but I would not have ordered the spice bag if I knew the spice mix would be missing. But always sorry to see a place close and I wish the staff all the best for the future, everyone was lovely.

We can imagine they close. It is just a fast food place but they are suuuuuuper slow. You have around better places and faster

Been hearing about this place since I moved here. Got the fried Chicken with Mac& cheese. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but the chicken was soggy and limp I’ve had much better. Would go again but not for a while, tasty sauces for sure and good service

What a disgrace, you can only serve such a lousy meal to hipster foreigners: the cheapest ingredients (everything is nicely fried), bad-tempered employees. This probably only works in Kreuzkölln…. And in response to the instructions below: I am a true Kanack myself (certainly neither the waitress nor the owner can claim that). Maybe I can turn the tables: Am I just too dark or don't speak English well enough to be served properly here? I won't comment on the best quality ingredients... In the end, you are somewhat responsible for where you go to eat.

wish i could come here all the time. really good concept, great chefs and a solid >berlin in real time but escaping reality for right now< atmosphere. it’s just you and special food in a special space. this would probably be what the european metropolis dream feels like, certainly an experience that comes with a cost (you’ll pay by card).

We knew the sauce and wanted to try the food. What can we say...the food was very, very tasty. The service and advice was top. In addition, you could test all the sauces to see which ones you like and how hot the sauce really is. We will definitely come back next time we visit Berlin.

Be careful, don't order here. Tried twice via Liferando. Both times were canceled again and I've been waiting for my money since December 27th, 2024.

Extremely salty junk food, and this is an understatement.

I rarely write bad reviews, we got close to inedible food, and paid a very high price. So much salt, and talentless cooking. Sorry to the people who work here, nothing personal, but you should change something.

The sauces are very tasty and also spicy! We also bought some for our home here! Employees are very nice, but strangely enough they almost only speak English. The food concept doesn't make sense to me. The chicken dishes were all heavily seasoned and had a strong taste of their own, which made the use of sauces almost obsolete. Therefore I only recommend the hot wings with fries! This is where you can get the most out of the sauces.

We visited this cool place because we were craving fried chicken and Reddit told us that we wouldn’t be disappointed if we visit this place when their fried chicken menu is on the cards. And yes, fellow redditors were spot on with this one. The fried chicken here was easily one among the best I’ve tasted. Crisp on the outside, soft and juicy in the inside. We tried both the Fried Chicken plate and the Fried chicken sandwich and both tasted amazing. We paired it along with their Yuzu Gin & Tonic and Mazcal Sour which delivered a tangy twist to our palette. Overall, will definitely visit again to try out their changing menus!

My Irish friend invited me here to try the Irish Week theme they had going. Was a bit skeptical given they rotate their menus every week, so to me it seemed like a 'jack of all trades, master of none' type deal, but I actually really liked the dishes they had on their menu! Crispy fish, delicious fries in 2 variants and a great spice bag too. If their other special weeks are as quality as this one, I'm sure you can come in at any point and be treated with a solid dinner.

What ever they cook, I will eat. It is that good, and I am a picky person with my food. Tried the vegan fried chicken and it was super light. I also tried the Korean week with fried chicken and rice and I can't explain how good it was. The kimchi was also good.

Tried to order by phone for pickup today two hours after opening. Always taken. So I went straight to the store to order. Then I hear that no takeaway food is being sold. You have to sit directly in the restaurant and order. My boyfriend is currently not mobile and was sitting at home hungry. I also didn't understand what the difference was between selling me take-away food and why it was only possible to eat on site. Thanks for nothing. Was the first and last time for me. Why you specifically provide a phone number on your website for pickup orders is a mystery to me. So far so bad.

Very cool place! They have different themed weeks all the time and always high quality. Staff are nice and the beer and cocktail selection is great, we tried some unique beers and also Japanese yuzu gin and tonic. The spicy sauce is very saucy ;)

Fantastic place through and through. Sat on the street and had amazing Korean fried chicken wings and tried 10 different hot sauces. Bought some bottles to take home too. Will be back again.

Definitely visiting this place again. It was so fun to try all the different hot sauces they have. The Korean fried chicken was delicious! Such a great concept that they have a different menu every week.

Far too expensive...the curry sauce was too watery. Needs to be thick

Been to CBK for almost all the weekly menus except probably a couple and this place literally never disappoints. They definitely know what they're doing with every menu that they have, the staff is super friendly, great drinks (would strongly recommend the Margaritas). The standout for me was definitely the Manchester Curry Mile week - there's a million Indian restaurants in Berlin that do shocking Indian food and CBK, despite not being an Indian restaurant, blows them all out of the water. The lamb, the chicken, the onion bhajis were superb. But every menu that they have is on point to be honest. They also always have vegan and vegetarian options, regardless of the week. Again, really never disappoints - if you're in Neukölln and need a bite, would 100% recommend. Thanks to the CBK team, you guys know what you're doing with food :)

Updating my review after multiple visits. I'm a regular and in love with this place. I make it a point to bring along friends and family whenever they visit. The location is in one of the nicest streets in Berlin and easily accessible from most parts of town. The food is excellent and most menus have been nothing short of perfect. As a vegetarian, I always have a good amount of choice. The variety of menus is also something that keeps me coming back for more. While some are not quite up to the mark, that's purely subjective and down to personal taste. It's not a strike against the quality of the food or the effort put into it. The one complaint I have is the lack of the Manchester Curry Mile. That's the one I and many others are pining for. Finally, the staff are absolutely lovely. Friendly and accommodating, especially when it's overcrowded. Special shout out to Jade, who makes the best frozen margaritas in town!

Fish&chips weeks are amazing. But be careful with lamb vindaloo on the curry week - it is as spicy as it gets.

I had this place on my wish-list because the varied themed menus are very tempting. To be honest, I was a bit doubtful about how good it could be because they do so many different styles of food that one would think that it would be hard to get them right (you know, if you specialize in too many things, you specialize on nothing). Also, tonight it was "fish 'n' chips evening" and, as far as I knew, they specialized in chicken, not fish. But I have seen many positive reviews so it was something definitely worth trying. Well, the fish 'n' chips were absolutely delicious. The batter and crispiness was on-point; the fish was fresh and perfect; the chips were good (not a 10 but still very good). The deep-frying was well done (not oily at all and nothing slightly burned). You can add another fish for 10 euros. I saw that too late. I totally would have eaten 2 of those. As a bonus for my personal taste, they even had Fritz Cola <3. Oh, and they have a vegetarian option (sorry, now I don't remember if it was vegetarian or vegan) called "vish 'n' chips". I bet it was good too. Service was nice and the place pretty chill. Was busy but not packed. This one goes right to my list of favorites. I will come back to try the other food.

Can't speak more highly of this place. Great staff and food that's high quality and delicious without being pretentious. The elusive Indonesia week is probably my fave but they're all excellent, I go here all the time. Plus unlimited hot sauce! The pumpkin, clementine and watermelon ones are particular highlights for me

I love the CBK weekly events featuring cuisines from all over the world! So far, every single week has been delicious. The prices are pretty fair and both the meat and veg/vegan options are great. You can also try as much of their hot sauce as you like. Berliner Berg beer on tap and a decent selection of bottles in the fridges.

They have fried chicken, proper and vegan. They also have a variety of hot sauces with very useful hotness rate. They also have craft beer (with and without alcohol). The place is a bit bare and noisy.

Great place! Everything I tried there was delicious. And thanks to this restaurant I got to know a lot of different kitchens all over the world. Everytime I go I also buy the cranberry hot soup. It’s amazing

While the place looks very basic inside (just white walls and tables), I‘m simply in love with the variety of food you can eat here. They‘re cooking a different cuisine from all over the world every week. I‘ve tried Indonesian and Jamaican so far and both were excellent.

The Crazy B's have always been there for me during my darkest hours - whether it be home delivery when I broke my wrist or a window drop off when the Rona got me. Tonight was the latter and luckily I still posses the senses of taste and smell. The Beef Rendang is delicious. It's soft and salty and aromatic and juicy, coupled with the rice and karadok side salad - adding a nice texture and crunch to everything. A bottle of Nero D'Avola to wash it all down with and I genuinely couldn't be happier. 5 out of 5. Will be back in person when I'm fit again. Thanks CBK Crew x

The CBK is fantastic and absolutely worth a visit. I was not convinced that they could do both truly excellent Kentucky Fried Chicken and a really, really good chicken satay. But I am here to say that they do!

We were there for the Korean weak and tried the US vegan burger, it was just the best we have ever had!!

Wow the spice bag was unreal! Everything was cooked perfectly. Spices outstanding! Staff was friendly and informative. Some of the best hot sauce I’ve ever tried as well. Will be back with friends for Chinatown week !

I waited for the return of The Kentucky Fried Chicken Week and my time has come. As i had previously experienced this dish, it has been adequately Corrected in a mouth savoring Herb encrusted peppery perfection. Although the wait is lengthy, It was well worth it in quality and quantity. Moist Crunchy Tasty and Tender it hit all The necessary notes and then some. The sides are fresh yet refined. My dining Partner got the mash + gravy and I chose the Mac n Cheese. Both providing the punch that delivers the Knock Out. As in if you eat the Serving prepare for a rest. I’m more the two meal for One approach. Either way as we say In the Hood. Ain’t no thang but a Chicken Wang. (Shouts to Golf Wang OF)

Absolutely love this place! I think the price reflects the quality of food. I always leave here feeling full. My only complaint is that it is not closer to home 😅

When I went there, it was Mexican week. They had vegan options and also gluten-free dishes. Tried Pozole and it was delicious. Portion could have been bigger though. Atmosphere is nice, relaxed. One client brought his dog, and it wasn’t a problem.

Wirklich beeindruckend, wie gut man ein veganes Gericht hinbekommt! Hatte richtig Biss, Geschmack und reichlich war es auch noch. Nun gut, man spricht auf der Weserstraße kein Deutsch mehr, aber damit muss man leben, wenn man auf der Touri-Meile Essen gehen will. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, bequem ist anders. Aber alles irgendwie urig und okay. Freundliche Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Die Saucen sind extrem lecker!

I just love this place - every week a different cuisine plus a huge selection of hot sauces to chose from! A dream come true for anyone that loves to eat especially spicy stuff. But don’t worry, if spicy is not your thing, you can get your food non-🌶️

Ich war hier schon öfter essen und bin von gesamten Konzept begeistert. Es gibt jede Woche ein anderes Menü, welches man vorab auf der Website (auch für die folgenden Wochen) einsehen kann. Ich war bisher zur American Fried Chicken Week. Das frittierte Hähnchen alleine und im Burger, die Mac‘n Cheese sowie der Kartoffelbrei waren wirklich sehr gut! Besser habe ich es in Deutschland noch nicht gegessen. Danach war ich zur Korean Fried Chicken Week, welche mich tatsächlich nicht überzeugt hat. Ein großes Highlight war für mich die Portugiesische Woche. Es gab Francesinha und es war sehr sehr lecker. Weiterhin hatten wir Grillhähnchen, welches geschmacklich auch sehr gut war und mich an Restaurantbesuche in Portugal erinnert hat. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bisher hatte ich nie Probleme einen Platz zu bekommen. Vor Ort kann man zu seinen Speisen auch die eigenen CB Saucen ausprobieren. Ich freue mich schon auf kommende Besuche, um weitere Highlights zu probieren (Jamaican Jerk week)

Cooles hippes Restaurant in der Weserstraße. Wöchentliche wechselnde Speisekarte mit einem bestimmten Thema. Bedienung sehr flott und nett. Wenige Sitzplätze auf dem Bürgersteig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Weiter so.

I was there for the Korean chicken night and the food was excellent. The range of hot sauces were delicious too.

Die Saucen sind spitze, super Schärfegrade und schöne Abwechslung bei den Speisen. Etwas teuer aber dafür darf man die Saucen kostenlos nach belieben zum Essen testen. Wir waren zum koreanischen fried chicken essen dort war nicht schlecht, Burger können sie aufjedenfall ziemlich gut, die würde ich eher empfhelen.

TLDR: Terrible food, tiny portions, long wait. Menu was Japanese themed, no other options available. Chose eggplant/bell pepper dish as I wasn’t too hungry it should have been just right. My friend had fried chicken. We added a bowl of steamed rice to share (4 Euros!!). After a very long wait of over 30 minutes we were served two very small dishes. I was shocked to be charged nearly 10 euros for tiny scraps of eggplant and half a bell pepper. Seriously? Rice was Chinese type (not Japanese as it should have been) and completely over cooked and wet like gross pudding. 4 Euros for a small bowl of disgusting rice, thank you but no thanks. Worst dining experience in terms of food. Waiter was good though. If you served food like this in Asia you’d have to close doors in a week!

Great concept restaurant. So their main thing is their in-house roster of hot sauce and a weekly rotating menu. Menu is usually small and concise offering meat and vegan options to common cuisines and styles. Haven't been there all that often but it really is good tasting stuff they serve there so the weekly rotation isn't just a gimmick. Anyway, Eating in house lets you freely taste and test their hot sauces. And it sometimes is really expensive stuff to the point where I'd rather eat in house than buy the hotsauces. That said, the hotsauces are really good. As far as I can tell, no chemical hotness is used and stuff actually has some taste to it as opposed to just pure chemical no taste hotness. I'd imagine picky eaters to not have a good time there given the mentioned things above but who cares about them anyway right. Recommend.

Gut besuchtes veganfreundliches englischsprachiges Restaurant. Das Angebot wechselt wöchentlich. Wir hatten die Tacowoche zur Verfügung. Die einzelnen Tacos waren sehr gut. Es besteht die Möglichkeit sein Gericht mit den hauseigenen Sossen nachzuschärfen. Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich.

3 stars for the lovely stuff, otherwise it would’ve been 1 for the food - low quality, poor taste. Very disappointing.

I've tried the Taco and Kentucky Fried Chicken Weeks so far. I liked the variety and taste of tacos, however I must say that they couldn't set the level of hotness of the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken. As a person who can tolerate hot/spicy foods very WELL, I found it extremely hot that I couldn't taste the chicken itself, mac n cheese, or coleslaw but only the burning in my mouth. And I had a stomach ache in the next morning. I would expect them to either write on the menu that Nashville is extremely* HOT or make it less hot that I don't get a stomach ache for hours after eating it!

Great food, perfect spiciness and even though they were quite busy, food was quicker than expected. Also, they have really good vegetarian options (i.e. everything)!

Been coming here occasionally since years. Until I took a friend who decided, we'd go every week- so it's what we are doing ever since. Our Portuguese friend who joined us for Portugal week, said they loved it. Another one from New Orleans found Creole vuisine week was 100%. A friend from Chile loves the Blueberry Carolina Reaper sauce, and a Scottish colleague was so happy about fish & chips. A colleague from Costa Rica exported the 7 Pot sauce to give to his family, and myself from the US can confirm CBS got Kentucky fried chicken down! My favorite sauce are Chipotle-Pineapple, and Ghost Pepper- Mango. The food might now come out 2 mins after ordering, but for me it's a good sign. It is always freshly made and quality takes time. No matter what cuisine, it is amazing and worth the wait! All waiters I encountered, are really nice and attentive. See you next week! :)

Great food, awful long wait time. Don't go there if you are in a hurry

The rotating menu offers an impressive variety but sometimes it is hard to read because of how fast it is spinning round. Service is friendly and the vegan options are always superb. It's tucked away in one of those strange corners of Berlin where there seems to be few tourists yet inexplicably every third accent you hear is American. When I left my job three years ago to become a full time Google Maps Local Guide, I was unsure if I had made a wise financial decision, but restaurants like this not only remind me that I certainly chose the right path, but are also the reason I wake up each morning.

50min after arriving I finally got my two burgers. 15min until anyone took my order. More than half an hour for two burgers to be made. Restaurant is half full. Staff couldn't be more chill, though. Buns are cold. Meat (chicken) ok. Sauces delicious. With 10€/burger still way too expensive.

Really cool place with a cool concept, weekly rotating Menus. Food was good, the spciy sauces were indeed spciy. Loved it! Definitely coming next week to try my countries roasted chicken!

The fish&chip was tasty and crunchy and we tried all the sauces and got a complimentary shot. Try the jalapeno margarita!!! The waiters are kind and helpfull.
