A nice buffet restaurant; the food is always delicious. The lunch menu is also varied, but of course, it's nothing compared to what's offered in the evening. I really enjoy eating there and highly recommend it. The prices are fair for what's offered.

We were there for the first time today...apart from the food, which was freshly prepared at the grill station (it was a bit burnt and partly inedible), everything else was excellent. The staff was also very polite and friendly...we'd gladly come again.

We used to love eating there until we moved. Yesterday, on All Saints' Day, after about five years, we discovered that prices are exorbitantly increased on weekends and especially on holidays. On regular days, it's €14.90 during the day, €18.90 on Saturdays, and €24.90 on holidays – around a 67% markup on the regular price. And this is a self-service restaurant! And the food isn't cooked individually, but all in one big batch. Pure robbery! The food was only lukewarm because it sat in the kettles for ages, depending on demand. There was no table service; they only brought the drinks. You couldn't find a price list anywhere in the restaurant – is that even legal? Never again!!!

I was out to eat at a restaurant with several people with disabilities and I am truly appalled by the staff's behavior. Upon arrival, the waiter was impatient and irritated, even though it was obvious we needed a little extra time to order. When it came time to pay, it became downright disrespectful: because my residents didn't leave a tip (which they simply aren't used to), the waiter just said he didn't have the change and refused to give it to them. He then threw the money at two of my residents, scattering the bills on the floor. Such behavior is unprofessional, discriminatory, and shameful! Especially towards people who depend on being treated with respect. This is not a place to take a group with a disability. Never again!!

After a long absence, we visited an Asian buffet restaurant to give it another try and were unfortunately very disappointed. The buffet selection is varied, the sushi was also quite good, but the other dishes were all bland and uniform, with the individual dishes almost indistinguishable in terms of taste. The grilled duck, in particular, was virtually inedible. The dishes freshly prepared on the Mongolian grill all tasted completely burnt and unfortunately had to be returned untouched. The service was severely lacking in attentiveness, and one of the waiters was also very unfriendly. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place. We certainly won't be coming back.

We've been there five times since October 2021. It's always worth a visit for us, even after the change of ownership. The food is delicious, and we've never had any complaints about the service. We're from Saarland, so we've only been here a few times. But we'd definitely come back. We definitely recommend it. We always ate around 6 p.m.

It's a shame that you can only pay with select bank cards. An employee explained to me that, even though I have a debit card, I couldn't pay with it because it's from a direct online bank. Only after speaking with the manager was I finally able to pay with my debit card (c24 Bank).

We've eaten here many times over the past few years. Unfortunately, it's gotten worse and worse. The cooked food is lukewarm and tasteless. The freshly fried food is cooked for far too long and is tough and barely edible. The cakes are half-frozen, and the ice cream is so soft that it's already melted by the table. Up to now, bringing a dog has never been a problem. On our last visit, we were rudely "asked" to sit in the far corner of the restaurant right at the entrance. Accordingly, there was no service. Dirty dishes were rarely cleared away.

I used to really enjoy eating here and was always enthusiastic and happy. But today (Saturday, August 30, 2025) was my last time. It's okay and understandable that the staff were completely overwhelmed because the place was packed, but sitting for 45 minutes with an empty glass and the empty plates piling up because no one cared about it isn't necessary, especially when you're sitting at one of the first tables. Furthermore, the quality of the food has declined dramatically. Admittedly, I've eaten much worse elsewhere, but now everything here tastes kind of the same. I couldn't comment on the sushi because they had sold out today and when something was "refilled" it was only a few individual rolls. And that at prices that have since risen sharply and are no longer reasonable. When we decided to leave after an hour, deeply disappointed, we had to wait over half an hour and ask for the bill four times because we kept getting forgotten. A buffet for two people with just one drink each, costing over €60, is just too much for the service/quality provided. As I didn't even want to tip for the "service", the waiter got even ruder instead of asking if something was wrong. It's a shame, I've always liked coming here and have always been completely satisfied.

The food at the buffet was average, but the teppanyaki section was very perfunctory. Additionally, the waiter's attitude was awful: he used rude gestures during the checkout, which seriously offended my friend, and refused to apologize. Will never return.

This was a very unpleasant experience. Some of the staff at this restaurant desperately need to improve their professionalism. My friends and I traveled all the way from Munich to eat here. At the end of the meal, while paying, a waiter suddenly slapped my right arm hard with his hand – simply because I accidentally pressed the wrong button on the payment terminal. His tone of voice was also very rude. My friend noticed the situation and demanded an apology from the waiter, but to no avail. We finally complained to the owner of the restaurant. Instead of showing understanding, he defended the employee, saying he was Vietnamese and that it was a "cultural difference." A sincere apology was never forthcoming. The way guests were treated – both by the staff and the owner – is very disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Probably the best Asian restaurant in the world! The staff are all very, very friendly, and the food is always incredibly delicious! A huge selection! It's gotten a bit more expensive, but everything is simply amazing! We go there every 2-3 months and are always more than satisfied. Thank you, Cooking Asia, you're amazing!

A very bad experience! The manager is completely unreasonable and rude. The employees even became physically violent towards guests – they even punched a customer while paying, simply because he accidentally pressed the wrong button on the card reader. The behavior was extremely uncivilized and disrespectful. The service is abysmal; the teppanyaki was burnt black and inedible. After complaining to the manager, he didn't even stop the employees, but defended their behavior and didn't admit any mistakes. Absolutely not recommended!

A very unfriendly experience. While paying, a Vietnamese waiter named Hoang suddenly loudly slapped my boyfriend on the shoulder and pushed him, just because he thought we were trying to press "pay" on our phones. We immediately demanded an apology, but he just played it evasive, as if it were normal. The manager then said it was just a "cultural difference" and not malicious. If we really wanted an apology, she would apologize "for him" and we should "not exaggerate." I have the strong impression that she treats Germans and Chinese people differently and that racial discrimination is taking place here. The experience was very bad; we will definitely not return and would not recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Yesterday, after about 10 years, we returned to Cooking Asia Freising, which I had very fond memories of. We were there at 6:00 p.m. The buffet was restocked, but nothing compared to the food they served 10 years ago. Ten years ago, the food was fresh, but the taste was noticeably different, even the fried foods. This time, the quality of ALL of them! The dishes were at a low level of fast food. Tasteless and dry. The dessert buffet also bears no resemblance to the quality of the food offered back then. It was all ready-made, cheap stuff. The chocolate fountain was filled with dark chocolate icing, the kind you find on cheap pre-packaged ice cream. I had a stomach ache all night, something I've never experienced from the food there before. In short, the food was hard to digest and tasteless at a completely overpriced price. We won't be visiting Cooking Asia again, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

You're already familiar with the system from other cities, and here it's the same. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet with a Mongolian grill. All in all, it was great. Price-performance wise, you can't say anything! However, you should go if you're really, really hungry 😆 The selection is huge, and it feels like you're in a hotel dining area, so it's very loud, but I think it's still okay, depending on where you sit. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our plates were always cleared away, and the server was nice. There's still one catch, though. We live in 2025, and I think they shouldn't offer "exotic" meat/fish like swordfish and the like. That's just not up to date anymore. I always wonder where you get the meat/fish from... You can offer meat/fish, but maybe not something that requires endless transport 😬 I think everyone would still be happy if there were "only" trout, shrimp, pork, chicken, and the like... It's still quite nice for kids, and definitely a healthier birthday party than at McDonald's 🫡

The restaurant offers food that you can choose from the products and have it cooked for you on the spot, or you can take some of the ready-made food from the buffet. You can eat fish and fish products such as shrimp, squid, octopus and mussels, different types of meat or vegetarian food. There is a large selection of salads and desserts. I like it a lot.

We ate at the buffet here. There was plenty of everything. The food tasted very good.

My partner and I arrived shortly before 9 p.m. We weren't expecting everything to be super fresh, of course, since the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. So we asked in advance if it would still be possible to eat at the all-you-can-eat buffet. We were told, "Of course, help yourself." We did, but the buffet was anything but enjoyable; it was unfortunately nothing to look at or taste good about. There were tons of flies all over the food, whether it was the sushi or the raw meat and fish selections. We also tried all the meat, and it literally tasted like rubber. The rolled makis, which I was kindly given to make and receive afterward, were poorly rolled and fell apart. As mentioned above, we didn't eat the sushi from the buffet. I did have a salmon grilled, but it tasted like dish soap because the staff were already busy cleaning and tidying up, so it was unfortunately inedible. Unfortunately, the desserts were also cleared away while we were still eating. Therefore, the price of €30 per person wasn't justified, and I told the waiter that I was disappointed in this regard and that this would be our first and last visit. Afterward, we ate somewhere else because, of course, our hunger wasn't satisfied. In conclusion: We're aware that you don't get the best food at 9 p.m., but this was much more about the taste and hygiene and the poor service, despite the fact that I confronted them openly and honestly about it and was ignored as a guest.

One of the best restaurants I've been to. The waitress who looked after us was super nice and had a smile on her face the whole time. You could see that she enjoyed her job. That made the whole evening even better. The food is truly excellent; the sushi from the lunch menu was unique and incomparable. You also get a free spring roll or sweet and sour soup with any meal from the lunch menu.

Sure, you could say it could be the warm weather, but no, it shouldn't be something that tastes bad! I mean, spoiled! Hygiene, well, I doubt it. The friendly-looking lady at the drinks bar smiles nicely but takes the liquor from returned tables back onto the tray for the next customer! It's really gone downhill; I used to like it there, but now it's over! A shame.

We arrived on a Friday evening at 9 p.m. Since it was an hour before closing, we were offered dishes from the menu, as the buffet was no longer being restocked. We opted for the buffet anyway. There was still a good selection, and the staff were always very friendly. However, the prepared dishes were no longer that fresh and generally not particularly tasty. The food they prepared on the grill was good. While we were eating, they were already clearing up, and we were repeatedly asked if we were still eating anything or if it could be put away. It was very hot in the restaurant, so unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't pleasant for us to eat. On weekends, the buffet costs €25.90 without drinks, but you get fortune cookies and a shot of schnapps with your bill. That evening and overnight, we all had stomach aches... we wouldn't be coming back.

Very good food, great attentive service. We would have liked more selection of the prepared dishes. Asian cuisine offers so many options, much more than just meat. The Mongolian grill was fantastic. Wide selection of meat, vegetables, and sauces. Great dessert buffet with fruit, cakes, ice cream, etc.

Unfortunately disappointing Prices seem to be increasing every month – and at the same time, quality is declining. The teppanyaki grill is particularly disappointing: the beef is often tough, and even simple side dishes like noodles are burnt. The noise level in the restaurant is also very unpleasant – screaming children run around the dining room undisturbed, making dining anything but relaxing. There is an urgent need for action here: More trained and experienced staff would be a first step towards meeting the standards of an Asian buffet.

Today was my third visit, and I can only give it a TOP recommendation. The first time, we were there at the invitation of a colleague and were simply surprised and recommended it to others. Today we were there for a company dinner, and everyone loved it. Even the kids! Friendly service, the selection at the buffet... extensive is an understatement. Simply TOP

Hello! We decided to visit this restaurant for the first time. It was our friend's birthday. We didn't reserve a table. When we arrived, no one greeted us. We sat down at the table we liked. There were only four tables in the hall; the rest were free. We went to get something to eat, and at that moment, a waiter appeared and told us we had to go to his colleague first. He also told us to move to another table. This was despite the fact that the table we were sitting at wasn't reserved. The second unpleasant thing is that the three birthday guests were congratulated in the same way, while our birthday guest was congratulated differently than everyone else. The third point is that the waiter didn't come to clear our table once during the entire evening. He brought drinks and never returned. There was no service. There were some very unpleasant compensations. And a ruined birthday. The food is good, but the grill smells a bit burnt.

There was only one drink, and after that, the waiter was only seen paying, even though the glasses were long empty. The buffet was rather mediocre. In my opinion, not worth the money.

It would be best for us to leave straight away after receiving such a terribly unfriendly welcome from the young waiters, as that would have saved us this incredibly bad Germanized Asian meal. Since we weren't very hungry, we ordered à la carte, also hoping that the quality of the food would be better than that at the buffet. After all, most dishes cost more than €15. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case: it was the same, cheapest industrial grub as at the buffet. The "meat" in the sauce dishes, which had been processed - presumably with tenderizers - was on the verge of being edible. If you end up here on a desperate Sunday evening and aren't hungry enough for a buffet, I would still recommend the à la carte meal. Because, traditionally Chinese, very large portions are served, which are placed in the middle of the table and shared. For example, you can order three different dishes for four people, everyone will be satisfied and you only pay around €10 per person.

It WAS delicious and nice to eat here. But since it has belonged to a different owner: inedible and too expensive. Everything tastes the same, like cardboard with fat. Prices go up +€3 every few months, meaning a family with two children can quickly end up at €120-140. Never again unless the old owner is back.

All in all it's okay, unfortunately nothing is refilled from about two hours before closing time. An hour before there are no more signs at the food and cleaning is taking place, you quickly notice that you have to leave...

That used to be a good restaurant. Now most of the dishes at the buffet are half empty and have been left for so long that the chicken and duck are dry and cold. Everything is stale. The pineapple tastes like it's fermenting... In some cases the meat was picked out of the dishes; something is only refilled upon request. Not even unmoved, so you at least get the feeling that an effort is being made. The waiters stand there and talk loudly. The pork doesn't taste like pork... generally no longer recommended.

Were there on January 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. Food was very terrible. Food was oversalted, soup was bad, smelled spoiled and tasted the same, what was empty wasn't refilled or was only refilled after an hour. We told the waiter that we weren't happy and that the food was barely edible. His answer to this is that you have been working since Christmas, so that could happen. No apology or accommodation. Was the worst all you can eat restaurant I've ever been to!

I've been to Cooking Asia in Fresing several times and while the people who serve me there have always been extremely polite and accommodating and I also found the atmosphere quite nice, the food at the end of the day is just as you would expect with this type of model is cheap food that I could just as easily keep in the supermarket. This isn't even really a criticism, as it should be clear to everyone when they go to a restaurant where you can cram in as much as you want for a certain amount of money, which is relatively low in nature. I simply see the concept as the opposite and final opponent of a cultivated eating culture in which quality should be prioritized over quantity. Unfortunately, this concept does the exact opposite. As I said, I have nothing against the store itself for the awfulness of its concept, it is probably one of the better stores and as I said, you are treated very friendly and courteously there and I wouldn't dare criticize anyone on the staff , because I was never given a reason to do so.

Since the change of ownership about a year ago, we tried it again and were once again extremely disappointed. We were satisfied guests for years and loved the food. Unfortunately nothing remains of it. The food consists primarily of prefabricated industrial goods. The sushi is a bad joke with tiny portions and disgusting rice. There is no tuna anymore. Worst of all, the limp and mostly tough duck - I've never experienced anything like that from an Asian restaurant - is inedible! The non-fried foods (beef, pork, etc.) are drowned in an extremely chili-heavy uniform sauce. The “dessert buffet” also consists entirely of industrial goods. The entire store is designed to maximize profits - even the final plum wine is in glasses that are similar in size to a thimble. It's really a shame what happened to the place, it was definitely the last time for us.
