Prices feel like they are getting more expensive every month. Children run around screaming and the background noise is just unpleasant. Tepanyaki grill is disastrous. Beef too tough every time and even the noodles get burned. It is urgent to increase the number of specialist staff who have an understanding of the subject matter.

That used to be a good restaurant. Now most of the dishes at the buffet are half empty and have been left for so long that the chicken and duck are dry and cold. Everything is stale. The pineapple tastes like it's fermenting... In some cases the meat was picked out of the dishes; something is only refilled upon request. Not even unmoved, so you at least get the feeling that an effort is being made. The waiters stand there and talk loudly. The pork doesn't taste like pork... generally no longer recommended.

Were there on January 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. Food was very terrible. Food was oversalted, soup was bad, smelled spoiled and tasted the same, what was empty wasn't refilled or was only refilled after an hour. We told the waiter that we weren't happy and that the food was barely edible. His answer to this is that you have been working since Christmas, so that could happen. No apology or accommodation. Was the worst all you can eat restaurant I've ever been to!

I've been to Cooking Asia in Fresing several times and while the people who serve me there have always been extremely polite and accommodating and I also found the atmosphere quite nice, the food at the end of the day is just as you would expect with this type of model is cheap food that I could just as easily keep in the supermarket. This isn't even really a criticism, as it should be clear to everyone when they go to a restaurant where you can cram in as much as you want for a certain amount of money, which is relatively low in nature. I simply see the concept as the opposite and final opponent of a cultivated eating culture in which quality should be prioritized over quantity. Unfortunately, this concept does the exact opposite. As I said, I have nothing against the store itself for the awfulness of its concept, it is probably one of the better stores and as I said, you are treated very friendly and courteously there and I wouldn't dare criticize anyone on the staff , because I was never given a reason to do so.

Since the change of ownership about a year ago, we tried it again and were once again extremely disappointed. We were satisfied guests for years and loved the food. Unfortunately nothing remains of it. The food consists primarily of prefabricated industrial goods. The sushi is a bad joke with tiny portions and disgusting rice. There is no tuna anymore. Worst of all, the limp and mostly tough duck - I've never experienced anything like that from an Asian restaurant - is inedible! The non-fried foods (beef, pork, etc.) are drowned in an extremely chili-heavy uniform sauce. The “dessert buffet” also consists entirely of industrial goods. The entire store is designed to maximize profits - even the final plum wine is in glasses that are similar in size to a thimble. It's really a shame what happened to the place, it was definitely the last time for us.

Rating for lunch buffet on a working day: Positive: Very nice atmosphere Food selection buffet lunchtime ok still neutral: Drink price at the top end of the price scale, in my opinion. Negative: empty unrestocked buffet area (in my case fried pork with mushrooms). Unfortunately, this wasn't good service, the guest doesn't have to ask for this, the service should notice this, it wasn't a rush hour and there were enough people from the restaurant there, but no one cared about it. It wasn't refilled when I stayed at 1:00 p.m., so not close to the end of the buffet time. It's just stupid if I like eating it :-( Payment can only be made with Girocard (no credit card Debit/Revol)

It's been a long time since we've been to the restaurant for lunch during the week. Unfortunately I can't say anything positive except that the service was quick and friendly. The soup was very bland in taste. The rice in the large pot was unfortunately lukewarm, as were the various dishes on offer. We had eaten several different dishes, but none of them were hot. The taste of the chicken curry was okay. The worst was the sushi. Sorry, but fresh is different! Unfortunately I can't recommend it at all and won't be going there again.

My son celebrated his birthday there. The food was plentiful and good. Overall, however, the quality has deteriorated somewhat. Not really bad, but not 5 star cuisine either. The restaurant is very noisy due to its size.

After the first round of drinks, our waiter made himself scarce and kept us waiting for half an hour. When he walked past our table he ignored our hand signals and he also avoided eye contact. In addition, at some point our plates and cutlery began to pile up, which is usually cleared away regularly for the next courses. Not exactly the ideal prerequisite for a good service person. For orientation, we sat in the back aisle of the restaurant. Each aisle has its own service staff. The buffet was okay, lots of choice, we definitely enjoyed it.

For 30 euros per evening the quality is not good enough..

We had dinner with friends. Some of the food was cold and limp. If more customers eat there, the staff will be overwhelmed. We waited a very long time for our drinks. What we had to fry was brought to us incorrectly three times in a row. You call them and want to make a reservation, then you are told that after 7:00 p.m. reservations are no longer necessary. When we came in we were told if we didn't have a reservation we should wait. What we didn't like was having to wait forever with a small child after we wanted to make a reservation. Never again.

I wonder how these different reviews come about. When I tried the lunch buffet recently, I was just disappointed because except for 2 dishes, nothing tasted good and the two items were either tough or gristly. Either I had a bad day there or the expectations of those around me are pretty low... which shouldn't be the case given the prices. In any case, it was my last visit.

Top recommendation from me!!!! We've been there for the 5th time now and I'm always thrilled. The people are just super friendly and are in such a good mood that you just feel very welcome. The food is always fresh, everything is replenished quickly and even if it is very full and you have something freshly prepared from the all-you-can-eat buffet, it always comes back quickly. The price is also great for the quality and selection you get. We always enjoy coming back for dinner. ☺️

A fun Asian food buffet. Although it is classified as Chinese food, it doesn't really feel like Chinese food. It also has yakisoba, so it is suitable for Japanese tastes. If you hand over the ingredients and seasonings on a plate, they will cook it for you. It's fun to be able to create your own combinations and arrangements. It's freshly cooked, so it's delicious.

We just came out of Asian cooking completely full. It was our first time being there. Due to bad reviews and experiences with our actual buffet restaurant, we came across Asia Cooking and now we definitely have a new regular restaurant for our visits to MUC! Totally friendly service! The selection of all dishes is overwhelming! Sushi, Mongolian grill (crabs, shrimps, various types of fish and meat) plus a selection of sauces and various vegetables! Also other delicious pans, pasta, rice, baked things. Mussels, dim sum, salad buffet, fruit buffet, a fridge full of many small different desserts. Chocolate fountains, pancakes, ice cream... and and and! The cleanliness in the restaurant is also very good! Price performance totally okay! When we are back in MUC we will come back to you! THANKS!

Cooking Asia Freising offers a typical Chinese buffet that is solid overall, but does not offer any special highlights. The selection is quite large and includes a variety of dishes as you would expect from buffets of this type. The quality is acceptable without being particularly outstanding. Unfortunately, the sushi area seems a bit loveless. The selection is limited and the preparation does not seem to be carefully prepared. The dessert is also disappointing - there are no special options and the taste remains average. A plus point, especially for families with children, is the soft ice cream machine. However, the soft ice cream was not optimally cooled during our visit and was rather too runny, which somewhat affected the enjoyment. The price-performance ratio could be better: you pay around 30 EUR for the buffet and a beer, which is relatively high for such an offer. For the visit to be really worthwhile, you should be very hungry. There are comparable buffets in the area that are either cheaper or offer a larger selection of hot dishes for the same price. In summary: Cooking Asia is fine to visit if you are in the area and fancy a buffet, but in our opinion it is not a top recommendation. Overall, a solid, average experience.

I've been thinking for a long time about whether I should give a rating, but since we're all totally disappointed with how Cooking Asia has developed, we'll now give a rating. So let's start with food. The fried noodles tasted very strange, as if someone had smoked the noodles with a cigarette. The soup was inedible, it didn't taste good and seemed old. The bench where we sat was so worn and worn that there were cushions used outside for garden chairs. The toilets are so unclean, it smells like urine and there is also urine on the floor. But what topped everything off was when we wanted to pay with cards we were told that this wasn't possible, only cash payment. However, this was not pointed out to us either at the door or at reception. When I said that I didn't have any cash with me, I was told to get money from the Kaufland opposite. I said no because I had to pay fees for the bank and the ATM was also inside and the Kaufland was closed. I then said ok I'll get money from the bank and we all got up and left. Then no no, someone has to stay here. I said ok, they're waiting outside. We then went and got the money and stood in front of the drinks market. Our son got out and walked towards the entrance. My husband and second son started walking when a woman ran behind and yelled stop stop stay here. Our son held up the bill and said he was there to pay. Then the woman laughed, ah yes, good, good. This whole behavior was a complete impudence. Because they knew us and we were there regularly and almost always with 13-15 people (families). We also left a lot of money behind each time (€300-€400). And then you are treated like that. Just sad. And that night the children and we both had stomach problems and diarrhea. We definitely won't go there again because this wasn't the first time with card payment, and the other families who were with us also had stomach problems because of the food. Wide choice at the buffet, too bad the desserts are industrial (except fresh fruit). Friendly and professional staff. Large free parking lot. On the other hand, bring cash if you do not live in Germany because only German bank cards are accepted.

Salmon sashimi, pork ribs, Mongolian barbecue, seafood is delicious. The quality is really good and the service is really good. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. They are helpful and everyone is fun. Maybe it's because we are Asians, but they take great care of us.

Just underground. If you want to go out for a nice meal on the holiday, you will be greeted by unfriendly staff. Next you want to order from the menu, then you realize that they don't like it at all and want to sell you their overpriced buffet. Then they throw you two laminated pieces of paper as a menu for 6 people. The atmosphere is just uncomfortable and loud. Check-in like in a large canteen. We then paid for our drinks and left without eating anything. They won't see us again.

You have many options at open buffet, and food is delicious from sea food to desserts. Wines we tasted (Merlot) was pretty bad for this kind of restaurant. Personnel was friendly, and service was good! Drinks are not included in the fix menu. Credit or debit card not accepted in 2020!

I've been to this restaurant two or three times and it hasn't been bad so far. But today was my worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The air conditioning didn't work and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable so you couldn't even eat properly. The service was somewhat OK, but the hygiene was absolutely terrible, especially in the toilet area. The whole floor was full of urine, which was just disgusting. After we paid and left, I suddenly started having cramps and stomach pains like I had never experienced before. The food seemed to want to leave my body as quickly as possible. It was really a very bad experience. As I say in most reviews: hygiene is just way too important. I will steer clear of this restaurant from now on.

The restaurant offers food that you can choose as products and have it cooked for you on the spot, or take it from the ready-made food at the buffet. You can eat fish and fish products such as shrimp, squid, octopus and clams, different types of meat or vegetarian food. There is a large selection of salads and desserts. I like it a lot.

We had dinner here in May 2024. Restaurant seems friendly and clean Buffet selection very large Staff friendly and always present to bring new drinks or clear plates. Went with the birthday child and the service was exquisite. Our server was Ming and we were extremely happy with the experience. From now on I will always come when I am near Freising. The food was also very great. You can hardly complain. There was something for everyone, so we got along quite well with all of our colleagues. Fraud on the guest!! 🧧🧨🧨🥊 When billing, the bill amount was displayed on the waiter's cell phone calculator. I paid and then asked for the paper invoice. Then the prices were much lower!!! So the waiter cheated me and the tables next to me on every bill, pocketing the difference plus an additional tip. The table was probably not even officially booked or rewarded. The report to the public order office is out. That doesn't work at all!

Very good food and a lot of options. I went late so the sushi wasn't refilled, but everything else was and it was delicious. The grill was especially good. The dumplings were confusing, I accidentally got 2 that had sweet fillings when I assumed they're savoury. The chocolate fountain didn't have many options. I would've liked strawberry or fruit other than pineapple and melon.

Since it's been taken over by a new owner, it's no longer as tasty as it used to be. Warmed up everything I ate. It was much better here. The goods are certainly bought very cheaply and that's how it tastes! Chocolate fondue didn't work either! Staff always very friendly.
