We had a 6 meal-course, all vegan. All dishes were delicious!

Innovative vegetarian cuisine, very creatively executed. The ambiance is a bit dark.

We had so much fun! I highly recommend the wine pairing. I am sober and was thrilled to see that they had a full non-alcoholic wine pairing (which included many homemade NA wines). It was an absolutely beautiful and delicious dinner. The service was top notch and the atmosphere reminded me of a NY speakeasy as we arrived at the bar. The upstairs dining area was much more vibrant and festive. Everyone seemed to be smiling and enjoying themselves. All of my dinner companions were not vegan/veg but raved about the whole dining experience. Being a vegan and sharing such a lovely experience with them felt amazing. 10/10 will go again!

The food is really special and innovative, however service do not live up to the standard. Service did not live up to the standard - we waited a very long time for sommelier service, and had a hair in one of the dishes.

It was a truly wonderful dining experience! I'm not a vegetarian, but I've always preferred vegetables to meat since I was a child. The components of each course were a taste journey for the palate. What I particularly enjoyed was the non-alcoholic accompaniment. I also enjoy very good wine. But with these dishes in particular, the non-alcoholic version is a million times better and, in my opinion, incredibly important because, as it was chosen for each individual course, it further emphasized the flavor nuances without overpowering the taste of the food. Only these drinks completed my palate's journey into the garden of vegetables and herbs. I always had the works of Monet, a painter I love, in mind. In my opinion, alcohol numbs the taste after the third course at the latest. And that's exactly what I don't want. Food without alcohol should be cultivated much more. It's an added skill to pair non-alcoholic drinks with food in this way. You did it brilliantly. Many thanks to the kitchen and the service for this wonderful evening! The food is great, and the service was very friendly and offered a lot of information about the food and drinks. However, we had to wait a very long time between courses, and we weren't given any explanation as to why it took so long. We were there for six courses in over four hours, and with the small portions, it really doesn't take long to eat each course. At one point, even the tables next to us, who had arrived after us and ordered later, were served before us. As a guest, this is incomprehensible and very annoying. When I gave this feedback when paying, I was repeatedly apologized, saying that our server had noticed it too and had informed the kitchen, but it was a small kitchen, etc. We hadn't complained, so they assumed it was still okay... that can't be the solution, that I, as a guest, have to become unfriendly? Things like that can happen, but then I expect at least proactive communication from the restaurant and perhaps a coffee or schnapps on the house as an apology. Given the prices, you'd expect something like that. Unfortunately, this significantly dampened our otherwise good experience. It's also quite loud, and people sit far apart, so you can't even have a proper conversation while waiting for so long.

On the recommendation of a good friend, we stopped here for a special private occasion. Our high expectations were not disappointed. The contrast alone between the path to the well-hidden entrance and the welcoming atmosphere that awaits you as soon as you cross the threshold is a very unusual and beautiful experience. The friendly, attentive staff takes excellent care of you. The cuisine is excellent in both senses of the word, and there are good reasons for this. Highly creative, elaborate, bold, high-quality, and very tasty. Although we also enjoy meat and fish, we never missed it here. We also found the accompanying drinks very exciting, and the option to choose a mix (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) was also nice. We also enjoyed some of the house's own non-alcoholic creations.

One of the best meals of my life! I have eaten at multiple Michelin starred restaurants before, and this is among the best. Food is imaginative and coaxes out the richest flavors and crafts them in beautiful combinations. My non-vegetarian companions agreed that the food was incredible. Our server was fabulous and friendly, and the industrial atmosphere was fitting for Berlin. It did drag on a bit long as at one point the kitchen got overwhelmed and we waited 45min between courses and the whole meal took 3.5 hours overall. But this was minor and the amazing food made up for it. I will absolutely go again!

Taking 4.5 hours to serve 6 courses absolutely ruined the dining experience. The whole party was insanely irritated after the experience and I felt terrible for having brought my friends here.

Great cuisine!! An unforgettable experience! 💗

We took the five-course menu with wine pairing. To start, we got the onsen egg to share with a cocktail each. The cocktails were nothing special, and even though they might be innovative the tastes just didn’t match the quality of the rest of the meal to be honest. On the other hand, I really recommend the egg (sharing worked out great!), a symphony of textures and just a perfectly balanced palette with simple ingredients. That turned out to be the case for most of the remainder of the menu as well. Nice balance between temperatures, textures, heat, tartness, umami and new innovative flavor combinations. The bread was GREAT. Wine pairing was good, but as the menu was light so was the wines - not my personal taste and there could be more variation here (note, different types of wines but all light). The main component of strawberry dessert was bland. Coffee was incredible!! The wait for the second dish (first of the menu) was quite long. The waiter kept us informed which was good, but still too long. We took a shot together with the waiter on the house with the bill! Nice! (Not everyone got this so we felt special!). Our meal was about €445 total (+tip). We had an amazing night, but there are some minor details I think would be an easy fix for a substantially better experience: - I took sparkling, and my partner still water. I got this small metal slab under my glass so that the waiter could tell who wanted sparkling. However, it stuck to my glass multiple times which once made me spill water. Just not a nice experience. - There should be a small bread plate. The bread is so good that you want to eat it in between meals - or just not place it on the plate etc. There are crumbs on the table and once again - just not a nice experience. - The water was €7.5/person... I really think they should include this (rise prices if necessary!) as it is just not a nice gesture. - The wine is just too cold. There can be no debating of this fact! - Would like some more info about the wine pairing - Would like more info about sourcing and preparation of ingredients

We are vegan and visiting from California on our honeymoon! We have eaten at many fancy veg restaurants and this one held up. We opted for the 7 course with wine pairing. Ended up being 400 €. Worth it for the experience & service. It is very difficult to find if you don’t know to walk through the alley. We attached a photo for reference 😊

This was our second visit and we were once again very happy. The welcome was a joy, the hospitality was wonderful, and the food was exceptionally magical. We'd love to come back; the word "feel good" doesn't even begin to fit.

Highly recommend. It was lovely. A little tricky to find - but follow the alley next to the Westin Hotel. We could only get a reservation at short notice for 4 courses so didn’t get to taste the 7 courses but it was greys nonetheless. Lots of great plant based tastes. Felt wines weren’t that good but still quite decent so perhaps opt for the sommerlier’s wine pairing. Great service with a smile and would like to come back for 7 courses!

Outstanding, varied, and flavorful dishes that, as an omnivore, don't even think about meat for a single moment...I wouldn't even know what to recommend first...the onsen egg, the pointed cabbage, but also the celery and bell peppers were simply fantastic. The staff was also super friendly, attentive, and guided us wonderfully through the evening – a big thank you also to Armen for his wonderful wine tastings and his entertaining and friendly manner. Wait, that's vegan? Incredibly good! The food at Cookies Cream was simply outstanding! This Michelin-starred restaurant is tucked away in a backyard – a bit of an insider tip. You briefly wonder if you're in the right place, but that's precisely what makes Berlin so special. Inside: minimalist, cool, urban. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. Special requests – like gluten-free options – are also accommodated without any problems. The current menu, "Electric Bloom," is a real highlight. Creative, flavorful, and consistently harmonious. Highly recommended! One small downside: Given the lighting conditions in the restaurant, scratches and fingerprints on the plates are quite noticeable. Precisely because the dishes are so artfully presented, scratch-free tableware would be more appropriate – especially in this price range. Nevertheless: A true experience. And yes – everything is vegetarian/vegan!

A sweet dream come true! The desserts here are simply divine – a perfect combination of creativity, flavor, and presentation. Each dessert is like a small work of art, lovingly prepared and incredibly aromatic. I was particularly impressed by how unusual ingredients blend into surprisingly harmonious creations. Whether creamy, fruity, or chocolatey – every bite was an experience. If you love sweets, you shouldn't miss this treat!

The food was fantastic and the service excellent. We felt very comfortable, as the dress code, typical of Berlin, was not so strict, and the waiters also maintained a relaxed but well-mannered atmosphere. The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a back courtyard, which makes it feel like an insider tip.

Being a solo guest I was happily surprised by the way I was treated. I truly felt I hade the same - if not even better - service as the rest of the guest. I even recieved little gifts - a drink and a parmesan dumpling. The food was great in texture, and I think the flavours were pure and true to the dish ingredients. (I had the 7 dish tasting meny). The staff were very professional and efficient. I hope to return to Berlin in the future, and when I do I will come for a second bite. But until then - Thank you!

We went to celebrate a birthday, been waiting for the event to have a unique experience. Which unfortunately didn’t match our expectations. The ambiance, and some dishes been Michelin worthy. What made the experience a three star review is that it didn’t match the expectations. Service pacing was laggy and one dish and drink combination really made a knockout for us. Which was disappointing, unfortunately.

Das Ambiente ist gewöhnungsbedürftig für ein Restaurant dieser Klasse. Alles ein wenig zu hip, die Lage auch nicht gerade super. Man hat den Eindruck, man besucht den Hinterhof einer Firma um gut Essen zu gehen.

CookiesCream in Berlin-Mitte is a unique dining experience: a Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant with a 5-7 course tasting menu, a vibrant atmosphere and a secret entrance.

An indescribable, extraordinary restaurant, unique and unimaginable food: delicious and beautiful to look at. Of course ... the portions should really be increased a bit ... The service is excellent. The entrance is narrow and difficult to find.

Difficult to find but once inside the experience was excellent, and all the staff was very warm and welcoming. We went for a 6 course vegan meal with wine pairing, and we appreciated the interesting explanations for each dish and drink. The attention to detail at every stage was greatly appreciated. Everything tasted amazing, with exciting and complimentary combinations of flavours. A very enjoyable evening!

The best meal of my 49 years on this planet

I was really looking forward to trying Cookies Cream for a long time, especially knowing it holds a Michelin star - but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to my expectations, particularly compared to one-star restaurants in France. The food itself was well-crafted and creative, and I respect the challenge of delivering an ambitious, fully vegetarian menu. The alcohol-free wine pairing was also a nice and original touch. That said, for €450 for two (6 courses with wine or drink pairings), the value just wasn’t there. There were several things missing that you would typically expect at this level: the decoration of the restaurant being not up to such stands (why showing a big "ficken" word on the wall ... the way you felt when you leave? :), no amuse-bouche, no small surprises between courses, no digestif or farewell drink, very close table spacing, and the payment is done at your table in full view of others. Service also lacked polish - though both waiters were very friendly and had wine knowledge. Yes, you leave full - but you still feel something was missing. While the food was good, there were no standout luxurious ingredients (truffle, fine or rate cheese-type, etc.) to justify the price point. It definitely doesn't worth it and I won't recommend it unfortunately. I know others may have had a different experience, but for me, this felt way overpriced for what was ultimately delivered - not willing to try Crackers for such reasons neither.

Already one of my favorite restaurants - I’ve been here 5-6 times over the years. But last night was by far the best - above and beyond. Armen was our server and he remembered us by face from last time. He really went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome, entertained, and even offered some surprises on the house. I’ve never had such great service in Berlin.

Once you have found the inconspicuous entrance, you immerse yourself in another world. Purely plant-based cuisine at star level. Very courteous service. Extraordinary ambience in urban industrial style. Interesting audience. Beverage accompaniment both with and without alcohol. All courses at the highest level. An unforgettable evening.

Fantastic vegetarian experience - must visit in Berlin

We had an overall enjoyable evening. The dishes on offer were certainly flavorful and beautifully executed, though the menu felt a bit too safe for my liking, maybe tailored to suit more conservative German palate. Texturally, the food was good but maybe just two dimensional. Exquisite or bold, aroma didn't quite take a strong stance and while everything was executed with evident skill, the presentation was pretty standard and lacked sense of flair or imagined creativity, for example I didn't see any of the plates being designed around the food served to harmonize or even elevate the experience. Where the experience truly stood out, however, was in the wine pairing. The selection included some delightfully unconventional choices which we truly enjoyed. In the end, it was a solid experience and we had a lovely night.

We had a great evening in a great atmosphere! The food and drinks were exquisite, beautifully presented and perfectly served, with detailed description! Our waitress Diane was super friendly and confident in serving the food and was able to answer our questions in detail. We felt very welcome!

A cozy place in a slightly different setting :-) Easy to find. Relaxed atmosphere which was a wonderful experience. As expected, the food was beautifully presented and tasty, except for the dessert. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any flavor in it. We would not recommend the wine menu, but go with another choice. Would we come here again and would we recommend it to others - YES

Walking down the alley was a little scary at first, didn’t make sense but in afterthought it added to the whole experience. The portions were small and taste was cool, it was new and fun. It didn’t feel like dinner more like a unique stimulating experience. Also received a complementary vegan caviar egg dish, which was a very nice gesture and I am grateful for it.

It’s vegetarian food from a different stratosphere. The depth of flavour in the intricate dishes is exceptional. It’s an expensive treat, but well worth the financial sacrifice.

Cookies - for me, are still the reference for innovative DELICIOUS(!) vegetarian fine dining in Berlin. The service, as always, was friendly and confident in a good, pleasant way. Unfortunately, cookies are not an inexpensive treat, but for people without an expense account, cookies are more for special occasions.

Definitely a great experience, very tasty, friendly service. The first course from the menu (Kohlrabi) was the worst in the whole menu and at first we thought, wow, that could be something. In the end everything turned out well, most of the courses were extremely delicious, especially the celery course, a poem. The kitchen takes allergens very seriously and I felt like I was in good hands.

Wow! The 7 of us were in Berlin to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party and decided to have a special vegan 5-course dinner at Cookies. It was terrific! The ambience is stylish (the entrance is somewhat hidden in a driveway), the service is more than attentive, and the taste of the food is simply outstanding. Every single course was so different and unique in terms of its consistency and taste. If you love food & animals, you should definitely visit Cookies. Thanks!

High end vegan restaurant. For Berlin conditions, after Oukan it is the best place to go for vegan high-end cousine. It cannot yet compete internationally because the focus is solely on taste rather than a nutritious balance of proteins, fiber, fats and carbohydrates.

1. Restaurant not marked properly 2. Entrance not sufficiently marked, sanitary or inviting 3. Courses rushed, not paced, bill offered before you wiped your lips from the last course 4. Server, clearly new, offered mumbled, over-wordy descriptions that left us not knowing what we ate 5. Taste not at the level of a Michelin star. More Master Chef. Paprika dish was like a reality competition that required the use of paprika. Desert dish was less pleasing than a McDonald’s Sunday. 6. Nutritionally, not enough protein or fat to accomplish nutritional body needs or satiety. 7. 6 adults, short of a 1000 euro away and I was hungry at the end. Ouch.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time and I've never had such good vegetarian food! This menu is absolutely amazing! I'm so excited I can't even express it! In addition to the incomparably good food, there is also super warm and competent service! I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

We enjoyed our evening at Cookies Cream! The food, although vegetarian and none of us is actually vegetarian, was exciting and creative, with lots of intensity in taste. We didn’t miss meat one bit! :) The atmosphere was cool on one hand, as the restaurant is located in a big industrial building, on the other hand, the acoustics of the room made it difficult to have a conversation, and there’s not much privacy as it’s one big room filled with tables, placed very close to each other. The service was also rather impersonal and the waiters seemed to be running from one table to another as fast as they could. Overall, the restaurant has great food and the place has a cool artsy vibe, yet it’s not a cozy date-night restaurant.

Some experiences you only have once in your life. Definitely not this one! You have to come back here. The atmosphere is typical Berlin. A backyard entrance, industrial building, club atmosphere and then THIS food. Playing with consistencies, dismantling and reassembling the ingredients like Lego, and conjuring up new flavor combinations almost casually on the tongue was a great art. You have to experience this! Last but not least, you can say that with 2x 7-course menu and drinks we spent as little as in other star restaurants for 1 menu without drinks. The price-performance ratio for this quality is impressive. Thanks to the team for this experience. We'll be back.

We had the 6 course menu and it was an exceptional experience. The service was friendly, courteous and very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The food was fabulous and very surprising.

We visited Cookies Cream for the fourth time shortly after Christmas and were not disappointed this time either. As always, a nice reception at the bar downstairs and then we went up to the restaurant. We were immediately recognized as guests, which is unfortunately no longer a given these days, and sat in the poor station. Armen is a great guy and a great service person! Absolutely competent, charming and funny. The restaurant manager Anne also welcomed us very nicely and accompanied us throughout the evening just as charmingly. The kitchen is always fun for us and is a regular source of inspiration for me as a chef. It's just a joy to see that vegetarian/vegan cuisine is implemented in such an exciting and inspiring way, without working with substitute products. The selection of food and suppliers is first-class and very much in line with ours. All in all a great evening and always a highlight for us when we are in Berlin. Absolutely recommended! P.S. However, there is still one small point of criticism. We've eaten the same menu twice now. Next time we come, we would like to have some new dishes to try.

We've fallen in love with that paprika sorbet, the idea was outstanding, in particular with the wine choice. I really don't know how to express that this experience was perfect exactly in the way the journey was meant to be, and it's hard for me to leave a little advice without feeling guilty: everything was perfect, the climax, the presentation, the colors, I simply felt like the main course was the sorbet instead of the potato/the beet. I really hope you the best as the alchemy we could taste was so interesting you would see us again in the future, happy 2025!

We went to Cookies Cream for the sixth time last week. That alone says a lot. We feel like we are regular guests now, but from the first visit we were welcomed with great warmth. The food was great under the old boss and has gotten even better under the new boss. In the end, it is the sum of all the impressions that make the evenings unforgettable. We are already looking forward to the next time.
