The food was exceptional! The staff great and personable. Every dish triggered in a clever way references and memories of familiar dishes and equally explored new layers of taste. In this way course after course build a perfect arch of taste spanning the entire pallet. Atmosphere of the pace is great with a good mixed audience.

We enjoyed our evening at Cookies Cream! The food, although vegetarian and none of us is actually vegetarian, was exciting and creative, with lots of intensity in taste. We didn’t miss meat one bit! :) The atmosphere was cool on one hand, as the restaurant is located in a big industrial building, on the other hand, the acoustics of the room made it difficult to have a conversation, and there’s not much privacy as it’s one big room filled with tables, placed very close to each other. The service was also rather impersonal and the waiters seemed to be running from one table to another as fast as they could. Overall, the restaurant has great food and the place has a cool artsy vibe, yet it’s not a cozy date-night restaurant.

Some experiences you only have once in your life. Definitely not this one! You have to come back here. The atmosphere is typical Berlin. A backyard entrance, industrial building, club atmosphere and then THIS food. Playing with consistencies, dismantling and reassembling the ingredients like Lego, and conjuring up new flavor combinations almost casually on the tongue was a great art. You have to experience this! Last but not least, you can say that with 2x 7-course menu and drinks we spent as little as in other star restaurants for 1 menu without drinks. The price-performance ratio for this quality is impressive. Thanks to the team for this experience. We'll be back.

We visited Cookies Cream for the fourth time shortly after Christmas and were not disappointed this time either. As always, a nice reception at the bar downstairs and then we went up to the restaurant. We were immediately recognized as guests, which is unfortunately no longer a given these days, and sat in the poor station. Armen is a great guy and a great service person! Absolutely competent, charming and funny. The restaurant manager Anne also welcomed us very nicely and accompanied us throughout the evening just as charmingly. The kitchen is always fun for us and is a regular source of inspiration for me as a chef. It's just a joy to see that vegetarian/vegan cuisine is implemented in such an exciting and inspiring way, without working with substitute products. The selection of food and suppliers is first-class and very much in line with ours. All in all a great evening and always a highlight for us when we are in Berlin. Absolutely recommended! P.S. However, there is still one small point of criticism. We've eaten the same menu twice now. Next time we come, we would like to have some new dishes to try.

What a special restaurant! Just search for the entrance, then a great welcome and incredibly delicious food. Very friendly staff. We chose the 7-course menu with accompanying wines. Beautiful and tasty dishes and well combined with the wines. Highly recommended!

We've fallen in love with that paprika sorbet, the idea was outstanding, in particular with the wine choice. I really don't know how to express that this experience was perfect exactly in the way the journey was meant to be, and it's hard for me to leave a little advice without feeling guilty: everything was perfect, the climax, the presentation, the colors, I simply felt like the main course was the sorbet instead of the potato/the beet. I really hope you the best as the alchemy we could taste was so interesting you would see us again in the future, happy 2025!

We went to Cookies Cream for the sixth time last week. That alone says a lot. We feel like we are regular guests now, but from the first visit we were welcomed with great warmth. The food was great under the old boss and has gotten even better under the new boss. In the end, it is the sum of all the impressions that make the evenings unforgettable. We have eaten here several times, were also here on New Year's Eve and have had menus delivered to our home several times via getvoila. The food was always extremely good and very varied. New Year's Eve was great. The service was always attentive and very friendly. Anyone who likes vegetarian food will be thrilled. I also like meat and am thrilled by the vegetarian creations every time I visit and don't miss the meat (on the contrary). The price is reasonable for star cuisine and there are occasional special offers. We (my wife and I) are already looking forward to the next time we can enjoy the fantastic food. Update 1.1.24: We were also at Cookies this New Year's Eve and this time under Nicholas Hahn. Last time I would have given 10 out of 10, this time I would give Nicholas and his team 15 out of 10 possible points. What a menu, what a chef, what a team. We had one of the best meals I've had in years. Everything was right here. Incredibly good food paired with great service and great people at the neighboring table. It couldn't have been better. What a stroke of luck that Nicholas Hahn is back in Berlin and cooking. We went home happy. Try it yourself while you have the opportunity. Update 01/05/25: We were at Cookies Cream for the third time on New Year's Eve and, like every time, it was extremely good and extremely tasty. Great service again and a meal that proves that you can eat without meat. We had a great evening with top-class food.

Courses are arranged by the primary vegetable/fruit and are in a very palatable order. They sometimes surprise you a wild card entry course from the menu. Stunning presentation, the waiters are excellent and they explain each course in depth and their preparation methods. The restaurant manager is very friendly and attentive.

I was a guest at Cookies for the 6th time. The food is still very good and picks me up, but the quality of service - considering the price - leaves a lot to be desired. The first service person to provide eye contact and a moment of personality was the one who gave us our jackets back as we left. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't appropriate for one star and the price of the evening: Starting with the careless placement and the rattling off of the food choices, then a seemingly random temporal structure of the menu - first 2 courses almost one after the other, then an eternal pause, then Eating every minute again. The service staff obviously can't describe all the courses - sometimes there was a wait. We also expressed the desired expansion of the 6-course menu to include a classic course, including a positioning request, which was promptly not implemented. A repeated misclassification of the drinks (wrong water, wrong wine) was actually an additional topping of the lack of love. At the end of the evening the already familiar stamp of the digestive card arrived - after that we had 15 minutes to think very carefully about the selection, because no one came to our table - apparently we had already checked out in our heads. All in all, it's all just small things, but it all adds up. Definitely not worth a stop this time and it is not yet clear to us whether we will visit again. Too bad.

This restaurant is fantastic. The bar, located just outside the restaurant, is small with few suggested drink options. But we tried them all and found each fantastic. The restaurant is rustic-looking inside, with a casual cool. Our waitress was the restaurant's sommelier, which was great for us. We did the wine pairing and found each wine very unique -- and the pairings very interesting and enlightening. The food was inventive, colorful, and surprising. Cookies Cream is expensive, of course, but if you can afford it and enjoy food and drink that dazzles, I highly recommend Cookies Cream. We'll be back.

We had an enjoyable evening overall, with a lively and charismatic waiter who added a lot of energy to the experience. However, the service was inconsistent and didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the high price point. For instance, crumbs from the bread (served without plates) remained on the table throughout the meal, and our wine glasses were cleared while we were still working through the bottle. There were also moments where we felt overlooked, such as a 25-minute wait before being served at the start. To their credit, the waiter offered a few substitute dishes to make up for the delay, though I might have been disappointed if we’d paid for them outright. It almost felt like they were slightly understaffed. While the dishes were generally flavorful, some stood out more than others. The Parmesan dumplings, for example, were overly rich for my taste—one was plenty. That said, we appreciated the opportunity to try something different, particularly as this is a vegetarian fine dining restaurant. The setting was pleasant, and it’s clear they’re aiming to create a special experience and have talent and creativity. Ultimately, though, the meal didn’t feel worth the €400 price tag (for two, including a bottle of wine). While I don’t regret trying it, I wouldn’t strongly recommend it to friends or plan to return, which perhaps says it all. The concept has potential, but the execution fell short.

It was my first time eating in a Michelin-starred restaurant. My friends invited me to 7 courses plus mixed drinks. I was impressed by the colors of the dishes, the composition of the consistencies - especially the non-alcoholic ones! - Drinks and the relaxed atmosphere are great. The evening was rounded off for us by the fantastically nice and down-to-earth bartender, who introduced us to his sophisticated delicacies at the end, just as we were about to leave. It was a wonderful evening, thank you dear Cream team!

A fantastic experience. A recommendation for everyone who thinks “meat is my vegetables”. We had a 5-course menu with non-alcoholic accompaniment. My favorites were parsnips and celery. The only small downside (but shouldn't detract from the rating): before the first course there was a loud bang and the power went out in the kitchen. That took a while and of course there were delays. I would have liked a little better communication. But we were compensated with an additional course - the legendary Parmesan dumplings - and were completely satisfied in the end.

By principle, I love the concept of this restaurant: a pure vegetarian michelin starred restaurant is very rare. For this reason, for many years I dreamt of going to this restaurant, and finally for my thirtieth birthday I travelled to Berlin to celebrate my birthday at the restaurant. The food was very imaginative, we enjoyed the paprika carpaccio, and the onsen egg. However, the other dishes were average and as far as michelin starred restaurants go, I was a little disappointed. Definitely not worth 115 euros per person, and the wine was too expensive. Typically, michelin restaurants include small in-between dishes, unmentioned on the menu, to surprise/thank the customers. This was unfortunately not the case here. Furthermore, I don't feel like I got the full "birthday experience". Admittedly, I informed the waiter of my birthday only at the end of the meal, but didn't get anything more than a short "Happy Birthday", leaving me faintly sad. I won't return to this restaurant again and don't recommend it for birthdays. The decoration (ficken) seems outdated.

Optisch waren die die Gänge noch besser als der Geschmack und die Klassiker besser als die Tageskarte. Einige wenige Kritikpunkte: Ich mag nicht ungefragt geduzt werden. Die etwas nervige Musik ließ im Laufe des Abends nach. Zu dem exzellenten Domberger-Brot passt am besten ordentliche Butter und nicht die weißliche Schmiere. Am Nachtisch war am besten die Abschiedspraline. Der Patissier sollte mehr Nüsse und Schokolade verwenden und mal bei dem Kollegen im Facil vorbeischauen.

We were here in a group for the end of the year. We should all be spared the pitiful attempt to describe how our taste buds perceived this evening using exalted culinary prose. Instead, I'll echo the reaction of one of our colleagues, who aptly stated: "I'm shocked!" That was all of us. In the best of all senses. Shocked at what a kitchen brigade can refine from the earth's gifts. Horrified at how cuddly wines can be. And beyond the kitchen? To put it in perspective: there were two of us eating cookies. We are vegan and had never eaten in a star restaurant before our visit. We paid around €265 for 2x5 courses, a bottle of water and 2 drinks without a tip. You can eat vegan in Berlin much better and of course much cheaper. You don't have to go to Cookies to eat. Some of the dishes were very interesting. None of the dishes were really tasty. Looking back, it's annoying that we spent so much money. The portions are way too small. We left the restaurant hungry. And we were aware that the portions in the Michelin-starred kitchen are smaller, but we didn't know that you would have to eat out again after the visit.

My wife and I had a six-course dinner at Cookies Cream and it was a delightful experience. The place is quirky, sophisticated and charming. It has a strong sense of place, for it being in Berlin. I really like our waiters; they were attentive and personable. The food was of course, delicious and incredibly visually pleasing. Our waiters maintained a very nice pace of service, which is not a given for a meal with this many courses and beverages. Speaking of beverages, I had the non-alcoholic pairing (while my wife had the wine pairing) and that was my favorite part of the experience. I wish more places embraced non-alcoholic beverages as much as Cookies Cream does. Each of my courses was served with a sophisticated beverage such as a carrot, fennel, miso drink or a local kombucha or non-alcoholic wine. They were all interesting, delicious and not too sweet. Go to this restaurant for a special occasion for sure, if you can swing it!

The food used to be good. It seems the fame hasn't died off yet but the quality has. For the fine-dining lovers: Most dishes are leaning way too much into a single ingredient without balancing flavours or textures. Even when that ingredient is done well, it leaves one feeling like it wasn't a course but a sauce or a bite. Most courses seem optimized for practicality. In our last visit, we didn't recieve anything that would require to be prepped/cooked specifically for the time of serving. The service was kind and informative but not very attentive. I can't blame them. They were going from table to table rapidly and without breaks yet still we had to wait significantly in between courses, to get the bill or order drinks. They seem understaffed for the level of service expected from the price-tag. Our third revisit was in the hopes that this had recovered since the last time. The only change was increased price despite the further decline of quality. There won't be further revisits.

You first have to go through a backyard to get to the restaurant. The decor is provocative and it feels a little forced "edgy." A waitress was sick and coughed the whole time, which didn't leave a good impression. The menu had its ups and downs. Two courses were very tasty, the others were between mediocre and bad. An example was pieces of vegetables that had no flavor and were infused with a broth. I expect a little more from a fine-dining restaurant. Visually, some of the courses were nicely presented, but you only felt full thanks to the bread, which was served with margarine. The non-alcoholic drink accompaniment wasn't always right. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not right.

We had a wonderful evening with friends at Cookies Cream. It was the first time for us and we chose the magnificent seven. None of us had the wine pairing, instead the sommelier recommended a great bottle of wine. As an aperitif I had the Blueberry Gimlet which was great! If you stand down at the bar you can see several bottles of prepared vodka, bourbon and pisco with different flavors. A visit to the bar is definitely worth it too! We all felt so comfortable and our favorite was almost unanimously the pointed cabbage with the curly mother hen. In each dish, all the components were worked out so finely that it was an absolute journey of taste. The service was also really great!! Intolerances were addressed, honest recommendations were made and just like that, everything was taken care of. We didn't miss anything! Next time we would include the classics because we are simply curious about them. For the first time, it was also nice to just let yourself feel through the menu. We would love to come back!!!

We've been celebrating our anniversary at Cookies for a long time and it's always special. Just the way into the restaurant and the interior always remind me a little of a mysterious loft in the middle of Manhattan. As soon as the metal door opens, wonderful impressions hit you - from the colors of the bottles at the bar, to the subtle music, to the welcoming atmosphere when greeting you - and you are transported into a fantastic world of culinary delights, which are probably absolutely unique. Unfortunately, 3 hours fly by and you go home with this fabulous feeling of having always been the focus of the charming, attentive and very friendly service and having had a perfect evening.

Ambitious? Perhaps. Really innovative and delicate? Well, I don't think so (of course it's always a matter of taste). Atmosphere has always been so wannabe cool with a half-hidden entrance in the back courtyard and a large picture with the inscription “Fikcen” in the dining room - how edgy we are...but now at least mostly vegan, they used to be vegetarian and used dairy products in every single dish.

The meal was excellent. We had the 5-course menu and the food made me very happy. My highlight was the beetroot. Unfortunately, the service was neither commensurate with the price nor the fantastic food: we waited 10 minutes before we could get to the table and 15 minutes until the sommelier came. We had our wine a minute before the first course arrived. The courses seemed to come quickly one after the other (80 minutes from the first to the last plate) and the dishes were rattled off by the staff. My companion had a glass of wine, which was empty for a relaxing 15 minutes until the waiter asked if he could take it with him (instead of asking if he wanted another glass). That's not star standard for me. Maybe the clocks rattle differently in Berlin, but I was very disappointed. All in all I didn't feel welcome. Not me personally, but as a guest. For me it had no ambience. No time was taken, it was not cordial, but rather a hard mass processing.

Just an awesome dining experience all around. Food was incredible, creative and beautifully presented. The wine pairings for each course were perfection. The flavor combinations were unlike anything else I’ve tried. I’m a vegetarian and good vegetarian dining is rare, in my experience. I was not disappointed here. The staff was wonderful, as well, from the bartender downstairs to the wait staff upstairs. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

If you are not put off by the slightly obscure path through the backyards and find the right door, you will receive a warm, friendly and professional welcome and be personally escorted to your table. The service is casually dressed but extremely trained, very attentive, friendly and again professional. Food and drinks are simply of the highest quality! The compositions on the plate are simply a poem visually, olfactorily and taste-wise! Meat wasn't missed, anyone who can conjure up such flavor explosions from vegetables knows their craft - the star was rightly awarded. It was my second time at the CC and my companion for the first time - we were all thrilled and definitely wouldn't be there for the last time.

Our first time was April 2024 when we visited Berlin to celebrate my birthday. We loved Berlin so much we came back in October for our anniversary and celebrated here. The chef was very creative with each dish and each had so many flavors. We got the wine pairing which complemented the food very well. Service was great and attentive. It was also nice that one of the staff remembered us from our first visit. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back the next time we visit.

My partner and I had a deeply disappointing experience at Cookies Cream. Despite the food being fantastic, the service was shockingly subpar, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant. We waited endlessly between courses, had to flag down staff for drinks, and received minimal wine explanations (basically, “it’s red”). To top it off, my partner was excluded from part of the meal while she was away, and neighboring guests received far better treatment, simply because they were connected to the owner. The evening dragged on for four hours, filled with empty glasses, cold, and frustration, all for €250 per person. I shared this feedback with them and received a response that basically amounted to “sorry, lol”— quite out of character for companies in their line of business. I would not recommend this restaurant or any of their associated locations. If you want a high-end experience, I believe you’ll be far better served elsewhere.

If you plan to visit this place, be prepared for this restaurant to blow your mind. Placed in the silent, unassuming back alley to the Westin, this restaurant is nothing of what you’d have an impression of as you walk into it. You are welcomed into the hands of their fantastic staff, who come around with smiles every time and care to check how you are feeling. It feels like you are dining and also constantly being hugged ❤️ We asked for the Magnificent Seven in all its glory and were totally blown away. Paired with the restaurant's non-alcoholic pairing, the flavors took our tastebuds for a ride. Overall, this place is perfect for a date or an intimate evening for someone close to you. I would certainly recommend that you arrive by 18:30 and be prepared to spend your evening here, blown away by the magic you see unfolding in front of you, course after course! A definite must-visit if Michelin is on your palette! ❤️ A special kudos to the staff for making our dinner an dining experience!

Hey About two years ago I had the pleasure of visiting your restaurant and my first impression was impressive. However, on my last visit the experience was a little different. While I understand that the prices have changed due to inflation, which is completely understandable, the portion sizes have become significantly smaller compared to my first visit. Another detail I noticed was that the service seemed a bit chaotic this time. Although the food tasted good, it lacked the wow factor that I felt the first time. In addition, this time there was no greeting from the kitchen, which is something I'm used to at a fine dining experience. As a chef myself and having worked in various fine dining restaurants, I noticed that my cutlery wasn't changed between courses. In addition, my guests were given more water, while unfortunately this was forgotten for me. These are little things that shouldn't happen at a restaurant of this level. On a positive note, I would like to emphasize that Chef de Rang was very personable. However, it seemed that the coordination with the kitchen didn't work optimally that evening. Overall the evening was fine, but given the prices quoted I expect details like this not to be overlooked. I hope my feedback is taken as constructive criticism and helps you to further improve the quality of service for future guests.

The only vegetarian dishes were super innovative and delicious, esp the main dishes and the dessert. Unfortunately there were no small extra dishes in between and the dishes itself were rather small even for fine dining. Also the service forgot quite a bit and the atmosphere was rather stressful. However, great job by the kitchen.

One of the loveliest dining experiences I've ever had. Each dish was a thing of beauty and tasted sublime. The 'Pointed cabbage: koshihikari rice, cauliflower, mushroom' in particular tasted so amazing it almost made me cry! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Lovely laid back vibe too. It was so refreshing to be the recipient of such genuine love and care for what was put before me, and not the inconvenient afterthought at the end of the menu. And what made me especially happy was no butternut squash (the food of the devil) or sweet potato anywhere in sight: UK chefs take heed!

Good food, some dishes were amazing, some dishes not so much. Friendly staff. Cool and trendy atmosphere. We sat there for 3.5 hours with 30-45 minutes between courses. Waiter came and apologised and said he would give us a drink on the house, but never followed through with it. We sat waiting with no drinks or food in front of us for 20 minutes without anyone asking. Overall not what you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. Go eat somewhere else, as Berlin have an incredible amount of vegan options for a fraction of the price.

Dear Cookies Cream Team, my girlfriend and me had the pleasure to be your guest last Thursday. Unfortunately, something was wrong with me this day and we had to leave just half an hour after we arrived due to me having nausea. Your staff was really attentive and sensitive to my situation and after I already left for fresh air, the manager didn’t even let my girlfriend pay the bill (we already had a drink/tea and a little bit of food). I would like to express my deep gratitude for the way you handled my vulnerable situation. When I left, your staff at the entrance was so lovely to give me a plastic bag for my way home. I spare you the details, but it was a blessing. Thanks to the whole team for your help and sorry for causing trouble. Cookies is known for being a vegetarian one-star Michelin restaurant. What comes short in my opinion is the surprise and experience you will get eating there! We love the location, the hidden steel door entrance and the stylish warehouse interior. But the food….what an amazing surprise and throughout the menu a wonderful journey we didn’t want to come to an end. Every single dish created joy and even weeks later we keep the memory of taste and presentation. Although the portions looked small, we left fully feeded and very happy. The menu is full of creativity and courage - the tomato as main component of the dessert was my personal highlight and made the whole experience unforgettable. They don’t serve Amuse-Bouche, the butter and chocolate are vegan - but it all makes sense and is part of this experience full of surprises. We have been to Cookies a few times - will soon be back.

One of the most rates vegan restaurants in Berlin: we were looking forward to the experience. It was a little confusing to find it at the end of an alley, but it served as a push to our expectations. As soon as they led us to our table, they insisted on an upgrade to our booked menu from four dishes to seven. We were just looking to try things, so we accepted to see the other menu. They came two times to check and try to persuade us for the upgrade, but we decided to try just four this time, as we have had previous experiences with restaurants with Michelin stars and they are not always as impressive as we thought. We felt quite pushed for the upgrade and it was, even if they were extremely polite, quite uncomfortable. Well, the four dishes were great. The two first ones were just good, the third was a delight and the final one a fantasy. I think this is a good place to try high cuisine from a vegan perspective, but it didn't blow our mind like other restaurants in the theoretical same level.

This was our first time at Cookies Cream and we really enjoyed it! The tasting menu “The Magnificent Seven” was wonderfully varied, creative and simply delicious! The wine accompaniment was just as varied, albeit with a few hurdles to overcome ;-) The non-alcoholic accompaniment, on the other hand, was a bit off, but it was also extremely imaginative. Plus an interesting place, nice people, hospitable and relaxed atmosphere - a super nice evening!

We have been to Cookies many times over many years. The new chef has taken food that was already absolutely spectacular to a new height. Last night we had the seven course menu with both the alcoholic and the none alcoholic pairing and just wow. Every dish was not just a piece of vegetarian art but also a journey into flavor, dimension and surprise. Every dish was masterfully crafted and the flavors each dish offered were shutting up all conversation at the table. Cookies. You went from a 10/10 to a 20/10.

Had a great experience here. You question yourself several times before reaching the restaurant - have you gone the wrong way? What's that on the ceiling? What's that smell? Can there really be a restaurant here? You enter by using a telecom device on the wall and you are seated in a fancy bar area where you can start with optional drinks. We had a great alcohol free fizz and a gin/basil cocktail. Both were great. We were taken upstairs and met our host for the night, Martha. We chose the 4-course meal with the mixed pairing. All 4 dishes were delicious and the pairings were spot on aswell. We were especially fond of the radish with jerk sauce, which came with a great German red wine pairing. This place is pricey, but it's worth its weight in flavor, innovative cooking techniques and excellent service. We had a great evening and we can truly recommend this place, which will be a great experience for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. All will be satisfied and have their eyes opened to how far you can go, flavorwise, while minimizing harm to animals. We commend places like Cookies Cream, for bringing such eye opening experiences to people - thank you!

We have been lucky enough to dine at Cookies at more than one occasion, and every time we’ve been, we have had mind blowing food and experiences, including last night. It all starts with a walk through the loading dock, wondering if you’re in the right place, and then into a sublime signature cocktail at the bar downstairs. Upstairs the kitchen team, led by chef Hahn, at Cookies take their amazing produce to dizzying new heights of flavour! Each and every sauce, emulsion, oil and bite a flavour sensation. You can taste that every dish has had countless hours poured into it, researching, or tweaking, refining, and optimising. Quite frankly you will spend a lot of time blissfully discussing, “how did they do that?”. The team working front of house are wonderful, with an easy personable professional style! We were looked after by Marta, who was lovely and very knowledgeable about the dishes and techniques, and you could feel her passion for the food. We have had both wine pairings and ordered bottles from the wine list, sommelier Camille has guided us fantastically well! Very nice to also see so many incredible German wines in the pairing we had last night also. This is a special occasion meal which will deliver incredible memories for those dining! (Sorry for the long review, just lots of great things to say)

Vegan reinterpretation of the "Die Glrorreichen 7" menu proposed in this period by the restaurant, a journey through seasonal raw materials enhanced with simplicity and at the same time the right amount of experimentation. The place is very well looked after but not furnished with any particular taste, the environment is informal and capable of hosting a dinner with the right atmosphere. Honorable mention for His Majesty "Paprika", a dish where the pepper in 4 preparations becomes pure art, I would return to Cookies Cream again and again just to have it again (please add it among the signature dishes!). “Sellerie” on the other hand is the most aesthetically successful dish in my opinion: super playful to eat and a real joy for the eyes and palate, all the contrasts it wanted to arouse were successful. Fair value for what we ate and the experience offered in general, good non-alcoholic cocktails and espresso not far from Italian coffee (and considering the standard of Berlin that's already a lot). Last but not least, Marta's service, we felt pampered and well prepared for the dishes without ever feeling a sense of oppression or exaggeration but with that lightness mixed with awareness of what was being proposed which always made the dinner pleasant.

I will be in Berlin Sept 14-19 I will drop by to make my displeasure known to the staff for lying, forcing a pill on him which was not for allergies, and their basic disregard for human life. My brother and I ate at Cookies Cream in Berlin to celebrate our last night in Germany, however our visit was cut short with a trip to the hospital due to an allergic reaction. This already scary experience was made worse due to the actions of a rude and disrespectful staff member. My brother is allergic to nuts. When I made the reservation two weeks in advance, I asked the restaurant if he could still dine there safely. I received this very reasonable response: “We can serve our menu without nuts. Only we can not guarantee no traces because we work with the product.” I confirmed this over the phone the same day, and in person with our waitress at the restaurant. Three courses into the meal, my brother’s lips began to swell and he began to have difficulty swallowing. We did not have his auto injector (EpiPen), so I notified the waitress that we would need to pay and leave early so that he could get medicine. At this point I want to clarify that I am not writing this negative review due to the allergic reaction itself. I was motivated to leave this feedback due to the actions of a specific staff member, who I believe was the manager. While the waitress was processing our bill, this staff member came over to see why we were leaving early. He said that the menu was modified and that this reaction should not be possible, and he accused my brother of eating the nuts off of my plate. Then he told us that we should not leave, and he gave my brother a random allergy pill and asked us to stay at least for the next five minutes. At this point, I was having a near panic attack, so we took the pill and I told the waitress I would pay any amount to leave. Several hundred Euros later we were on our way back to the hotel. My brother’s condition continued to worsen with difficulty breathing, so we headed to the nearest hospital. On the way, I called the restaurant to find out the name of the allergy medicine this man had given my brother so we could tell the doctors in case of any drug interaction. The same man answered the phone and he said condescendingly “why do you want to know the name of the medicine? Because it worked so well you want to buy it for yourself?” Then he told me “I gave him a very basic allergy medicine, you know to save someone’s life.” I finally got the name of the medication (Lysotossil) and my brother made it to the hospital safely to receive treatment (he is OK!). I later learned from the doctor that this medicine is for coughs and not used to treat allergic reactions to food. I was shocked by this staff member’s flippant attitude throughout this experience. It is clear he did not take my brother’s allergy or his life threatening reaction seriously. For more context, my brother has had this allergy his whole life, however he has never had a reaction since the first time when he was 2 years old. It is highly likely he has been in contact with trace amounts of nuts at some point in his life as he is 17 now. I suspect that at Cookies Cream he was exposed to much more than trace amounts of nuts, and that the same lack of seriousness extended to the meal preparation. I expected much better from a Michelin star restaurant, especially one that already caters to dietary restrictions. I would not be upset if this restaurant told me upfront they could not accommodate the allergy. Instead, they told me they could, and then did not take this promise seriously.

This is one of the most unique and interesting places I've dined in Even searching for the place was fun The food is really good and very unique vegan & vegetarian experience. The wine paring was excellent and the staff were professional and patient explaining everything in English I have to add. The place has a high price as should a Michlein star restaurant have But after paying such a high price I'd expect that a coffee or a clean alcoholic shot at the end of the meal be on the house To end the experience with a nice taste of gratitude and hospitality but at the end we payed for the two coffees and one vodka shot

I had an appointment with a friend for breakfast here on Saturday at 10 a.m. We were there shortly after 10 a.m. and were initially the only guests. We placed our order at the counter and received the drinks and food relatively quickly. In addition to the vegan avocado bread, we ordered a vegan spelled waffle. Everything to share. The waffle was extremely hard and more like a cookie than a waffle. When we asked whether that had to be the case, a new waffle was immediately prepared for us. As we waited for the second waffle, one of the chefs brought us a second round of drinks to the table (the same ones we had previously ordered) and said that we would start over. We weren't expecting that at all and found it extremely sweet and thoughtful. The second waffle was also super tasty and we were extremely happy. We can only recommend the restaurant, especially because of the good service and hospitality. Thank you very much, we had a really great breakfast!

Am I vegan? No Do I love the place? Yes! Amazing food with fresh ingredients and spectacular flavors. Someone might find it pricy depending upon what you order but the quality and quantity justify the visit. Overall, the food brought smile to our faces and soul. Don’t judge, the food in the picture was for 3 people and just under € 30 🤌🏻

Excellent experience. Great staff, exceptional service and amazing food! They try to take into consideration all of your dietary restrictions and alter food as per requirements. My favourites were green Shakshuka, pancakes and the cocktails. Definitely coming back!
