Modern, bright furnishings, food was delicious, service was friendly, we will definitely be back!

An exotic place in which to taste a varied menu of oriental dishes. The portions are generous and the service is discreet and efficient. The evaluation of the elaborate dishes will be conditioned to the taste of each diner. It has satisfied me. Perhaps a somewhat noisy atmosphere if there is a celebration there. The place is pleasant and with a somewhat ornate decoration, as is usually common in this type of establishment.

Great restaurant in a great location next to the park with a very extensive menu of food and drinks. And a really friendly, courteous staff, it was definitely not the last time there.

Not the last time. We were there for lunch. We quickly found a dish from the lunch menu. The starter was very nicely prepared (3 small spring rolls with a small salad). The main course was beef with noodles/vegetables and pickled vegetables, top. The look alone promised enjoyment. Rounded off with a baked banana, two drinks and a seaweed salad, the two of us ended up with a tip of €50. Price performance is definitely top for this quality.

While this restaurant used to be absolutely great, it's now a complete waste of time, unless you're into lovelessly and unimaginatively cooked food prepared by bored low-wage Filipino workers. Avoid as much as possible!

Delicious Asian fusion cuisine in a high-quality atmosphere

The atmosphere is very modern, as if you were in the big city. Food very nicely prepared and very tasty. Price justified for the experience. Service very quick and friendly. My recommendation is the grilled salmon. The sushi plates are more expensive but look and taste great.

Great shop with very, very good food! We have already eaten here on site, but also picked up. When eating on site, we were thrilled by the friendly service and the attentiveness as well as the speed of the service staff! The service is also great when picking up! The gentleman on the phone is extremely friendly! Since I was there a few minutes before my order time, I waited briefly and immediately received a water from the courteous lady behind the counter. The food was ready just in time for my order! Both the warm dishes and the sushi are of high quality and have a great price-performance ratio!

We were here for dinner yesterday. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We always prefer to go here rather than to Ingolstadt. The interior of the restaurant is an absolute highlight.

Great restaurant with a variety of Asian dishes. You can eat Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese all in one place, with the tastes of each Asian region being very well catered for. We love coming here on special occasions and always have a fantastic evening!

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Weissenburg! I had the pleasure of dining here three times during my two-week stay in the area, and every meal was absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive, and I wish I could’ve tried everything because each dish I had was incredible. The atmosphere is both cozy and refreshing, making it a great place to relax. The staff are super nice and friendly too! As a fan of spicy food, I would’ve loved to see chili powder or spicy sriracha sauce alongside the salt and pepper, but honestly, everything was so good it didn’t even matter. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town! 😍

The burger was tasty but the curly fries were very crumbled and some of them were quite dark.

Sushi was very tasty, one star deducted for the warm dishes and the desserts, which personally don't convince me. Another star deduction for the service, which unfortunately often leaves room for improvement. Update: The service is now better again, the girls are trying very hard. Hence the update to 4 stars.

A chic interior restaurant. Terrace could be a bit more well maintained but cozy in itself. Spontaneous reservation was great! It worked straight away. Employees were very, very friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere and good Asian cuisine. I like coming here to eat almost authentic pho. Really very good and I recommend the sesame ice cream for dessert. Update from 2/10/24 Unfortunately, I now have to deduct three stars from the original 5* because a new menu has been introduced and a new chef has also been added. The food was delicious, but the price increase for the dishes was so extreme that a bowl of pho soup now costs €19. Totally excessive for my taste. Update from 8/9/24 In fact, all the 1* reviews seemed to have some value. The restaurant has returned to the old menu with old prices, which makes me very happy. Therefore, a full 5* recommendation again.

Very good, lovingly prepared Asian food. Attentive service without being intrusive. Inside very lavish but tastefully Asian furnished. Nice terrace in a quiet location. A little more expensive, but the quality justifies the prices.

Highly recommended for lunch. Nice service. The dishes in the pictures cost 10.90 euros each. The lovingly made sushi cost 9.90 euros. Each includes a small starter.

I really enjoyed my visit yesterday again. Food is very good and high quality. Service very, very hard, so nice and polite. Sitting outside in front of the city wall and half under the trees is very comfortable. Of course there is also a new and cool restaurant inside. I'm happy for WUG, great addition.

We've always enjoyed going to Cocoon for a long time because we really liked the ambience and the food. Today we were very surprised because when we made our reservation by phone on Sunday morning, we were immediately given a place for 12 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant there were only four guests, which is absolutely unusual. Once we received the menu, we quickly realized why. The selection has shrunk by half, but the prices have risen exorbitantly. An absolute disgrace! Our meal (duck with curry sauce and vegetables) cost 24 euros, 0.75 l of mineral water cost 6.80 euros. The rice was cold and the portion was significantly smaller than before. The service was good, the three waitresses hardly had anything to do. It's a shame that actions like this are destroying what was previously a great restaurant. If no more guests come in the future, it will probably close soon.

There were four of us and we had reserved. The service is always very courteous and errors are also dealt with excellently. In our case, one starter was brought incorrectly and one was forgotten. Both those affected then received a free drink and a friendly apology. The dishes are really incredibly aromatic and beautifully prepared. There was even a small insert of dry ice for the sushi and our desert. We will be back definitely!

Update: New menu with a significantly smaller selection. A very clear sushi platter for 25 euros is cheeky. Service tried hard, but still slow and chaotic. At 9:30pm we would more or less be asked to pay and leave, for whatever reason. It's a shame we won't be coming anymore. Visited twice. First visit (inside) in my opinion the seating was far too narrow. Food (various sushi rolls) tasted very good. Second visit (outside) much more pleasant, sushi met my expectations, but the service was chaotic.

It was nice to eat there often. The first time over a year ago, I was so excited. The atmosphere is great, the staff is funny and friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. Had the chicken skewers with peanut sauce as a starter, and the main course was diced beef with vegetables. Totally my taste. Months later (December 23) I was there again. However, the arrangement of the dishes was completely different. Which was visually disappointing (if you ordered sushi, for example, a small carafe of dry ice was served and then brought to smoke at the table. Visually a highlight). We were there again for dinner a week ago. The menu completely new. Little for my partner and nothing for the child. The only thing I thought was great was that there was a special fruit plate for the child for dessert. I think it would be nice if it could be a highlight visit again like it was in February 2023

We have been eating at Cocoon regularly since it opened, both for lunch and dinner. The service, the food, the selection and the price-performance ratio were convincing. Overall, an enrichment for Weissenburg. Thanks for that😀 The menu has now been restructured and the prices adjusted. In the wake of the VAT change and the general increase in prices, this would be an absolutely understandable step, if it weren't for one essential little thing (in the truest sense of the word). Duck with rice, vegetables and sauce now costs 14 euros at lunchtime. So far so good. So far, the lunch portion, which is cheaper compared to the evening menu, has been clear (in terms of the amount of meat/duck). The small appetizer included in the lunch menu was enough to fill you up. What was shocking, however, was the significantly reduced portion of duck as a result of the price increase. Just three small pieces, while my companion with the identical meal only had two pieces. 😳 In my opinion a double/hidden additional price increase. The subsequent visit to the butcher had to close the gap in my stomach. Dear cocoon team: if it stays like this, we won't see each other again, at least at lunchtime. It would be nice if there was a little more on the plate here in the future. 2 comments: For the first time in our 15 or so visits, the restaurant was completely empty at lunchtime except for the two of us. Has the above topic already gotten around? So far there have been changing little things as starters. A beautiful thing . In the future there will only be one Misusupoe. It is one of the good restaurants you can find in Weissenburg. The food was amazing, and you can customize your order. The staff were friendly. The location was perfect and pleasant for my date with my wife. The best suggestion I received from them for a vegetarian option was the Sommerrolle starter. I may become a regular at this restaurant.

Very tasty sushi, very, very nice and attentive staff, super pleasant atmosphere - therefore absolute recommendation. What I particularly liked: They thought about the room acoustics, which is why the crowded restaurant is still surprisingly quiet - you can have a conversation at a normal volume. We will be back!

The restaurant is visually very nice and cozy, as it is still relatively new. The two of us were here at lunchtime. The good thing is that there is also a lunch menu including soup. For starters we shared summer rolls. My companion chose crispy chicken with rice in curry sauce. I had delicious sushi. Visually beautifully presented, taste excellent. A recommendation ❗

A lovely restaurant with absolutely friendly service! The menu was recently revised, meaning that everything that was available before is no longer available and it has become a lot more expensive!

Ordered food to be picked up for around 13 euros, paid in store and paid 18 euros per meal with the note - online card outdated.

Food was good, but completely overpriced. Had to wait a long time, then asked twice... There was no service regarding drinks or other requests.

I've been there three times, but it's never been as bad as this time. 1. the menu has been drastically reduced. We were given an old piece of paper, partly torn, as a menu 2. The order was only taken after approx. 15 minutes. Which wasn't so bad at first, but after the starter we waited over an hour for our sushi to arrive. Other guests who came after us got their food way before us or even left the restaurant! When we asked where the food was, we were simply put off. Although the restaurant wasn't very full and there were still three waitresses present, unfortunately no one felt responsible to ask us for more drinks, let alone take the empty glasses away. A pity! In the future I will think carefully about whether I will spend the money somewhere else

Leider wurden die Preise dermaßen stark erhöht dass ich dort nicht mehr essen gehen werde. Beispielsweise kostete das Mittags-Sushi 8,90€, jetzt kostet es 14€. Frechheit.

Waren zu Zweit mit einem Kind im Kinderwagen dort. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass eigentlich ein anderer Tisch für uns reserviert wurde. Aufgrund des Kinderwagens wurde uns ein Tisch mit ausreichend Platz daneben gegeben. Großes Danke! Essen war super lecker und frisch. Die Wartezeit war für einen. Samstagabend vollkommen in Ordnung.

Kann mich nur anschließen - selten so eine dreiste Preiserhöhung gesehen. Das Essen ist gut aber die Preise sind exorbitant erhöht worden. Neulich wollte ich mir mittags ein Gericht holen, dass normal immer 8,90 Euro gekostet hatte. Beim Abholen wurden dann 14 Euro verlangt, die Preise auf der Website seien nicht mehr aktuell. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit, Abzocke und da gehen wir sicherlich nicht mehr rein!

Mittags nicht zu empfehlen. Um 12h standen wir erst mal noch vor einer verschlossenen Türe. Es gibt nur eine abgespeckte Mittagskarte. Man kann sich kein Sushi zusammenstellen sondern muss einen Sushi-Mix nehmen, den der Sushimeister zusammenstellt wobei er auf keine Wünsche eingeht. Haben eine dreiviertel Stunde auf das Essen gewartet obwohl nicht viel los war. Die Suppe kam dann nachdem wir mit dem Hauptgang begonnen haben und aufmerksam gemacht hatten, dass die Vorspeise fehle. Sehr schade. Das war wohl das letzte Mal, dass wir dort waren.

Maximal schlechter Service. Die Mittagskarte maximal ohne Auskunft über die zu erwartende Menge und das was hier angeboten wir. Auch der Service muss erst in der Küche fragen und kommt dann auch mit keiner wirklichen Auskunft. So wird ein Sushi Mix auf Nachfrage erläutert 1x Maki 1xI.O. und zwei Nigiri. Ok, für 14,- EUR kam dann eine frittierte Jumbo Rolle mit zwei flambierten Lachs Nigiri. Auf die Reklamation kamen dann acht Avocado Maki und acht Lachs/Gurke I.O. Als Mittags Menu wird ein Ingwer Tee und eine Miso Suppe zum Hauptgang serviert. Der Tee kam direkt lauwarm, ok aber auch kein Highlight. Die Suppe dann kam erst auf Nachfrage zum Hauptgang mit der Entschuldigung „tut mir Leid, heute ist etwas…“ was auch immer heut war. Sollte es auch am Abend keine andere Karte geben, wäre ein Besuch dieses Lokals maximal nicht zu empfehlen, da dies bedeuten würde. Es gibt keine Auswahl an Sushi zu bestellen. Das Essen selber, geschmacklich und auch von der Zubereitung sowie dem Anrichten auf dem Teller wirklich gut. Serviert wurde nach fast einer Stunde. Das Ambiente etwas voll mit Tischen, wen der Laden voll sein sollte möchte ich hier nicht sein. Die wirklich nervtötende Musik, das mag aber Geschmacksache sein, pass sicher nicht zu einem Japanischen Restaurant.

Wohl eines der besten Sushi-Restaurants in der Gegend. Essen wirklich top, egal ob vor Ort oder zum Abholen! Die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich, selbst Sonderwünsche beim Sushi werden gerne erfüllt! ACHTUNG UPDATE!!! Hier wurde die komplette Speisekarte geändert (ist jetzt klein und unübersichtlich). Noch dazu eine massive Preiserhöhung!!! Als Beispiel hat vis letzte Woche eine Bamboo Roll 11,90€ gekostet….jetzt kostet sie 17€ und wurde abgeändert!!! Eine Maki Rolle hatte 3,60 - 4,20€ gekostet, jetzt zwischen 6 und 8 Euro!!!! Absolute Frechheit!!! Mit diesem Wechsel ist das einst so gute Sushi Local definitiv gestorben!!!!

Bis vor kurzem, unser Lieblingssushirestaurant! Bei unserem Besuch heute, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Speisekarte komplett reduziert und abgewandelt wurde. Die Preise sind optisch gestiegen! Da es unsere favorisierte Suhsi- Rolle (Bambo Roll) nicht mehr gab, haben wir uns dazu entschieden, dass Lokal wieder zu verlassen… der Kellner wirkte, als wäre es ihm egal. Sehr schade, wir waren gerne und auch regelmäßig im Cocoon!

Über 60 min auf unser Essen gewartet und das bereits zum dritten Mal. Das Essen war lauwarm als es serviert wurde. Dazu sehr überteuert. Das war unsere letztes Besuch. Sehr ärgerlich…

Nach einer Änderung der Speisekarte (nur noch etwa 1/3 der ursprünglichen Karte) vor wenigen Tagen, alles durchweg schlechter! Wir waren seit der Neueröffnung immer wieder gerne hier. Das Essen war gut und ein absolutes Erlebnis! Nach Steuererhöhung nun, wurden nicht nur die Preise (insbesondere bei den Hauptspeisen und Sushi) massiv erhöht, auch Qualität und Menge der Speisen hat leider stark nachgelassen. Die Kokos- Zitronengras- Panacotta war vorher ein einziger Traum und ist seit neuestem UNGENIESSBAR. Das gebackene Vanilleeis war beim aufstechen nur noch pure warme Vanillesoße und der Teig extrem "teigig" und patzig. Vom Personal wurde mitgeteilt, dass es einen Wechsel im Kochteam gab und nun auf "bessere Qualität" wert gelegt wird. Diesen Eindruck hatten wir leider überhaupt nicht. Ganz im Gegenteil... Das Personal gibt sich Mühe und ist großteils freundlich, allerdings hatten wir auch hier den Eindruck, dass alle maßlos überfordert waren: An Nachbartischen wurde Essen vergessen oder falsches Essen gebracht, welches nach minutenlangem Verbleib schließlich wieder abgeholt und an andere Gäste serviert wurde. Wir selbst haben eine knappe Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Auch äußerst grenzwertig... Bezahlen hat leider ebenso schleppend funktioniert. Letztendlich haben wir (5 Personen, nur Hauptspeise und 4x Nachspeise) knapp 200 Euro bezahlt. Aufgrund der oben genannten Punkte ein absolutes No-Go. Wie gesagt, wir waren immer gerne hier und geizen nicht, wenns um gutes Essen geht. Trotzdem oder gerade deshalb werden wir hier in Zukunft kein Geld mehr lassen. Schade, um dieses einst echt gute Lokal!

Wir waren knapp 16 Personen. Das Personal war etwas überfordert. Speisen kamen verzögert und die Vorspeisen teilweise erst nach den Hauptgerichten.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit allem was ich dort gesehen und gegessen habe! Personal sehr zuvorkommend und professionell! Das Essen sehr, sehr lecker! Wird wohl unser Favorit in WUG!

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und schnell zubereitet. Kurze Wartezeiten sind wirklich schön und heute nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und präsent. Das einzige, was mir nicht gefallen hat, war der geringe Abstand zwischen den Tischen und die weit entfernte Toilette im Keller. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert.

Einfach ein hamma Erlebnis! Etwas ganz besonderes!

War im Grunde alles super. Nur hat man uns nicht gesagt, dass unser um 18 Uhr reservierter Tisch ab 20 Uhr neu reserviert war. Das war nicht schön, hat sich am Ende aber dann doch noch geklärt und wir konnten sitzen bleiben.

Wunderbares,leichtes Essen. Toll gelegen, angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr netter und freundlicher Service. Es waren Gäste aller Altersstufen da. Im Sommer fantastisch draußen zu sitzen.
