A very nice restaurant with a great terrace. We were a group of six and spontaneously got a table outside. The service was very friendly and the food was also very good. Unfortunately, we waited a while for our food because the restaurant was very busy.

I would like to give more stars but I hate coriander and here they can't leave it out. I have ordered food twice specifically without coriander and it was still in the food. The first time I couldn't say anything because we had takeaway. But recently in a restaurant I was even assured that they didn't have any coriander in the house. (Strange, but the menu even says extra coriander for some dishes). Anyway, our food arrived (my husband doesn't like it either, by the way) and there was coriander in every dish. The waitress then said it wasn't coriander but Thai basil. Yes, Thai basil has a very unique taste and I really like it (we happened to have it garnished on our food in another restaurant, whole leaves). That's how I know Thai basil definitely doesn't taste like soap to me, but coriander does. The waitress's solution: simply order without herbs next time. We then skipped the on-the-house espresso at 8 p.m.

Ordered food with a different sauce, but the wrong sauce arrived. Immediately contacted the service. So, the issue was known and clearly communicated. Result on the bill: full payment! In the end, we were served the sauce from a giant container. There was a hair baked into the fried sushi. Wow… Special request for sushi? Not possible. Oh, for that price, I'd rather not!

Excellent food. Some of the dishes are unique and offer an exceptional taste experience. Everything is beautifully presented and served by friendly staff. Good value for money for the good food and pleasant atmosphere. (Compared to cities like Munich, it's very affordable!) The terrace is particularly pleasant, with a view of the romantic city walls.

When the weather is nice, there's a beautiful, shady terrace and a very cozy interior, which is also very modern and attractively decorated. It's very quiet, and you can enjoy your meal. The service is very attentive, and the food is served hot and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, there isn't parking directly in front of the restaurant, and it's a bit hidden away. But in our opinion, it's always worth a visit. The restrooms are in the basement, very clean, and there's a changing table in the accessible restroom. We were there with five adults, a baby, and a toddler. We will definitely eat there again. The prices are reasonable.

Simply wonderful! We've visited this restaurant several times for cocktails and dessert. The value for money is excellent, and the service is extremely attentive. For dessert, I highly recommend the baked banana: It costs very little, but the quantity is extremely generous, and it's served amidst a firework display, as if they had spent a fortune on it! The cocktails all taste delicious, are beautifully presented, and leave nothing to be desired! The ambiance is also a showpiece and stands out clearly from other establishments. I should mention again, however, that the service is the highlight of this restaurant. The staff pays close attention to the guests' wishes and makes a lot of effort. A personal highlight for me was when we were allowed to use the restroom after the restaurant officially closed. Overall, everything there is simply excellent, and I can only recommend it. I'd be happy to go back!

An exotic place in which to taste a varied menu of oriental dishes. The portions are generous and the service is discreet and efficient. The evaluation of the elaborate dishes will be conditioned to the taste of each diner. It has satisfied me. Perhaps a somewhat noisy atmosphere if there is a celebration there. The place is pleasant and with a somewhat ornate decoration, as is usually common in this type of establishment.

Great restaurant in a great location next to the park with a very extensive menu of food and drinks. And a really friendly, courteous staff, it was definitely not the last time there.

Not the last time. We were there for lunch. We quickly found a dish from the lunch menu. The starter was very nicely prepared (3 small spring rolls with a small salad). The main course was beef with noodles/vegetables and pickled vegetables, top. The look alone promised enjoyment. Rounded off with a baked banana, two drinks and a seaweed salad, the two of us ended up with a tip of €50. Price performance is definitely top for this quality.

While this restaurant used to be absolutely great, it's now a complete waste of time, unless you're into lovelessly and unimaginatively cooked food prepared by bored low-wage Filipino workers. Avoid as much as possible!

Delicious Asian fusion cuisine in a high-quality atmosphere

The atmosphere is very modern, as if you were in the big city. Food very nicely prepared and very tasty. Price justified for the experience. Service very quick and friendly. My recommendation is the grilled salmon. The sushi plates are more expensive but look and taste great.

Great shop with very, very good food! We have already eaten here on site, but also picked up. When eating on site, we were thrilled by the friendly service and the attentiveness as well as the speed of the service staff! The service is also great when picking up! The gentleman on the phone is extremely friendly! Since I was there a few minutes before my order time, I waited briefly and immediately received a water from the courteous lady behind the counter. The food was ready just in time for my order! Both the warm dishes and the sushi are of high quality and have a great price-performance ratio!

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Weissenburg! I had the pleasure of dining here three times during my two-week stay in the area, and every meal was absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive, and I wish I could’ve tried everything because each dish I had was incredible. The atmosphere is both cozy and refreshing, making it a great place to relax. The staff are super nice and friendly too! As a fan of spicy food, I would’ve loved to see chili powder or spicy sriracha sauce alongside the salt and pepper, but honestly, everything was so good it didn’t even matter. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town! 😍

The burger was tasty but the curly fries were very crumbled and some of them were quite dark.

Sushi was very tasty, one star deducted for the warm dishes and the desserts, which personally don't convince me. Another star deduction for the service, which unfortunately often leaves room for improvement. Update: The service is now better again, the girls are trying very hard. Hence the update to 4 stars.

Very pleasant atmosphere and good Asian cuisine. I like coming here to eat almost authentic pho. Really very good and I recommend the sesame ice cream for dessert. Update from 2/10/24 Unfortunately, I now have to deduct three stars from the original 5* because a new menu has been introduced and a new chef has also been added. The food was delicious, but the price increase for the dishes was so extreme that a bowl of pho soup now costs €19. Totally excessive for my taste. Update from 8/9/24 In fact, all the 1* reviews seemed to have some value. The restaurant has returned to the old menu with old prices, which makes me very happy. Therefore, a full 5* recommendation again.

We've always enjoyed going to Cocoon for a long time because we really liked the ambience and the food. Today we were very surprised because when we made our reservation by phone on Sunday morning, we were immediately given a place for 12 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant there were only four guests, which is absolutely unusual. Once we received the menu, we quickly realized why. The selection has shrunk by half, but the prices have risen exorbitantly. An absolute disgrace! Our meal (duck with curry sauce and vegetables) cost 24 euros, 0.75 l of mineral water cost 6.80 euros. The rice was cold and the portion was significantly smaller than before. The service was good, the three waitresses hardly had anything to do. It's a shame that actions like this are destroying what was previously a great restaurant. If no more guests come in the future, it will probably close soon.

There were four of us and we had reserved. The service is always very courteous and errors are also dealt with excellently. In our case, one starter was brought incorrectly and one was forgotten. Both those affected then received a free drink and a friendly apology. The dishes are really incredibly aromatic and beautifully prepared. There was even a small insert of dry ice for the sushi and our desert. We will be back definitely!

First visit (inside) in my opinion the seating was far too narrow. Food (various sushi rolls) tasted very good. Second visit (outside) much more pleasant, sushi met my expectations, but the service was chaotic.

Had the chicken skewers with peanut sauce as a starter, and the main course was diced beef with vegetables. Totally my taste. Months later (December 23) I was there again. However, the arrangement of the dishes was completely different. Which was visually disappointing (if you ordered sushi, for example, a small carafe of dry ice was served and then brought to smoke at the table. Visually a highlight). We were there again for dinner a week ago. The menu completely new. Little for my partner and nothing for the child. The only thing I thought was great was that there was a special fruit plate for the child for dessert. I think it would be nice if it could be a highlight visit again like it was in February 2023

We have been eating at Cocoon regularly since it opened, both for lunch and dinner. The service, the food, the selection and the price-performance ratio were convincing. Overall, an enrichment for Weissenburg. Thanks for that😀 The menu has now been restructured and the prices adjusted. In the wake of the VAT change and the general increase in prices, this would be an absolutely understandable step, if it weren't for one essential little thing (in the truest sense of the word). Duck with rice, vegetables and sauce now costs 14 euros at lunchtime. So far so good. So far, the lunch portion, which is cheaper compared to the evening menu, has been clear (in terms of the amount of meat/duck). The small appetizer included in the lunch menu was enough to fill you up. What was shocking, however, was the significantly reduced portion of duck as a result of the price increase. Just three small pieces, while my companion with the identical meal only had two pieces. 😳 In my opinion a double/hidden additional price increase. The subsequent visit to the butcher had to close the gap in my stomach. Dear cocoon team: if it stays like this, we won't see each other again, at least at lunchtime. It would be nice if there was a little more on the plate here in the future. 2 comments: For the first time in our 15 or so visits, the restaurant was completely empty at lunchtime except for the two of us. Has the above topic already gotten around? So far there have been changing little things as starters. A beautiful thing . In the future there will only be one Misusupoe. It is one of the good restaurants you can find in Weissenburg. The food was amazing, and you can customize your order. The staff were friendly. The location was perfect and pleasant for my date with my wife. The best suggestion I received from them for a vegetarian option was the Sommerrolle starter. I may become a regular at this restaurant.
