Freche Bedienung, besserwisserische hochnäsige Kellnerin, Auswahl an Apérogetränken sehr schmal und bevormundend. Da gibts echt besseres!!!!

Tolle Location direkt an der Außenalster. Die hausgemachte Limonade und der Kuchen sind eine Empfehlung. Der Service ist schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ich habe einen Burrata-Salat bestellt, und im Salat befanden sich verdorbene, bereits faulige Blätter. Ich versuchte, die Aufmerksamkeit der Kellnerin auf das Problem zu lenken, was mir erst beim dritten Versuch gelang. Auf meine Beschwerde antwortete die Kellnerin, ich hätte bereits zu viel von dem Salat gegessen. Genau darin liegt jedoch das Problem: Ich habe verdorbenen Salat gegessen. Welche Auswirkungen das auf meine Gesundheit haben wird, kann ich nicht wissen. Der Großteil der fauligen Blätter war zudem unter der Burrata versteckt. Ich habe weder verlangt, dass das Gericht ersetzt wird, noch darum gebeten, es von der Rechnung zu streichen. Ich habe lediglich darauf hingewiesen, dass sich im Salat schleimige, verdorbene Blätter befanden. Statt einer Entschuldigung erhielt ich den Vorwurf, ich hätte bereits zu viel gegessen und deshalb würde das Gericht nicht ersetzt werden. Der Fairness halber möchte ich erwähnen, dass mir die Hälfte des Salatpreises von der Gesamtrechnung abgezogen wurde. Dennoch bleibt ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl zurück. Die Getränke waren gut, und die Aussicht ist wirklich wunderschön.

Die Location selbst ist wirklich schön – tolles Ambiente und eine super Lage am Wasser. Leider wurde der positive Eindruck durch den Service komplett überschattet. Wir hatten nach einem Platz am Wasser gefragt, wurden jedoch von einer Mitarbeiterin informiert, dass dort alles reserviert sei und keine Plätze verfügbar wären. Kurz darauf konnten wir beobachten, wie andere Gäste ohne Reservierung ebenfalls nach einem Platz am Wasser fragten und direkt einen solchen Platz zugewiesen bekamen – sogar direkt neben uns. Das empfanden wir als sehr unfair, respektlos und unprofessionell. Als wir die Mitarbeiterin darauf angesprochen haben, reagierte sie leider nicht besonders freundlich. Generell wirkte der Service während unseres Besuchs unfreundlich und wenig zuvorkommend. Hinzu kam, dass unsere Bestellung falsch aufgenommen wurde. Dadurch musste eine Person aus unserer Gruppe deutlich länger auf ihr Essen warten, während der Rest bereits gegessen hatte. So etwas kann zwar passieren, aber in Kombination mit dem ohnehin schlechten Service hat es den Gesamteindruck zusätzlich verschlechtert. Schade, denn die Location hat wirklich viel Potenzial. Das schöne Ambiente und die tolle Lage können den unfreundlichen Umgang mit Gästen und die organisatorischen Fehler leider nicht ausgleichen. Hier besteht beim Service definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf.

Noch nie einen so schlechten Service gesehen. Weder die Kellnerin kümmerte sich um uns, noch die Leute aus dem Backoffice. Mehrmals eine Kontaktanfrage geschickt und nicht ein einziges Mal eine Rückmeldung bekommen. Noch nie etwas so unprofessionelles gesehen!!! Über Telefon auch nicht erreichbar, also kurz gesagt - sie kümmern sich um nichts. Schade, die Location ist schön, da hätte man echt was draus machen können. In dieses Restaurant setze ich keinen Fuß mehr.

The food was okay, but the service was unfortunately very poor. The waitress sat at the table next to us and chatted with her friends. Even though we were the only ones there, we were treated very inattentively. Almost all of our drinks were empty, and we weren't even asked for new ones. Unfortunately, we left immediately after our meal. The location is very nice. In addition, no one was available to provide the bill. There was no way to reach anyone by phone. I was told to simply send an email: I tried four times, but unfortunately, no response so far. It's a shame, we won't be back.

The location is truly beautiful with a fantastic view. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to our expectations: we had to wait a long time, and some items on the menu were unavailable. Unfortunately, I had a stomachache after the meal. The restrooms weren't clean either—I reported this to the staff. Given the rather high prices, we would have appreciated a bit more quality and attention overall.

We discovered this place by chance and loved it. Delicious drinks and a great setting right on the Alster.

Two typical snack bar dishes were out of a very important component. The price (which, incidentally, is quite high even for Hamburg) remained the price of two complete meals. When I politely asked about this, the response was a bit insulted: "I told you we were sold out." Well, we didn't want to miss out on the few remaining ingredients because we were so hungry. Usually, though, the price doesn't stay the same elsewhere; they charge for one of the drinks or something similar. Not here. The seating is pleasant, and the taste of the - not at all French - "leftovers" was okay. However, it's by no means better than the diverse competitors right next door, also located right on the water. We won't be back.

I visited Coco Rivier for the launch of the new Miss Dior perfume and was absolutely thrilled! The venue is just a few minutes' walk from Jungfernstieg and offers a dreamy, tranquil atmosphere right on the water – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the special ambiance. Everything was lovingly and stylishly decorated for the event – ​​especially in bold pink, which immediately put everyone in a good mood. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Only the long line could have been a bit shorter, but that probably speaks volumes about the popularity of the venue and the event. What's particularly nice is that Coco Rivier offers a unique blend of elegance and relaxation: comfortable seating, a great view of the water, and a modern, yet warm design. It's a place you'll want to return to for both a special event and a relaxing afternoon. The icing on the cake would have been a pink Sarti Spritz on the menu – that would have perfectly matched the atmosphere. But even so, it was an absolutely successful experience. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Coco Rivier – whether for a drink by the water, an event, or simply to enjoy Hamburg at its best!

We stopped at Coco for a drink on three of our four days in Hamburg. The location couldn't be improved. The staff, too, were friendly and provided excellent service. That's exactly what you'd want.

Terrible service We arrived quietly and after the waitresses walking past all of us about 10 times over a period of 15 minutes I walked to the bar to talk to someone, a girl with blond hair told me that she couldn’t understand me and “what are you even saying” and then said sorry you cannot be served here. We all quietly left and went for dinner elsewhere. Highly do not recommend

The service was very bad and the waiter were very rude. We seated to a table that writes “reserved” by mistakenly (we didn’t realized the label) Then the waiter came and shout us that we shouldn’t sit there because it was reserved even if the restaurent was fully empty. And throwed out the label to an other table. Then I ordered a Lynchburg Lemonade but there were no vishky in it. But even if it has been the best coctail ever our mood was down because of the attitude we faced.

A dream location right on the Alster Lake, perfect for a summer sunset with a cold drink. Prices are a bit high, but absolutely appropriate for the location, especially in the lounge area.

We were there as a family of five. The children really enjoyed the dinner and easily found something they liked. The atmosphere was very pleasant; my only complaint is that the jetty on which the restaurant is located has no railing, making it a hazard for children to fall in. We would love to come back as a family.

Beautiful place with a fantastic view! It's a really beautiful place with a great view, but it's quite windy – I recommend bringing sunglasses or goggles. The wine is okay, but the food is rather expensive. If it rains, the visit is unfortunately over quickly – but in nice, hot weather, it's absolutely magnificent. Definitely worth a visit!

Quite expensive for not very classy. A shame. We had reserved a table - but luckily, one became available. The staff was overwhelmed - the food was mediocre. People, get a better menu and a better chef. Or lower the prices. The ambiance is great due to the privileged location.

A place trying to be something it isn't. The food was okay, but the drinks were pretty bland. The worst part was the exceptionally unfriendly service: a "Hi" as we walked past our table, without so much as a glance or a smile. They didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink, and in the end, our goodbyes were skillfully ignored. Overall, the service was very taciturn, disinterested, and irritated. Furthermore, we expected a different clientele than those in sweatpants. Not recommended!

We were recently here on a beautiful summer evening as two friends and wanted something to eat/drink. (All or most?) of the tables were occupied, and unfortunately none of the team felt responsible for interested future guests or us. We waited at the counter/contact point while the service staff chatted privately. When we proactively approached and asked the two of us directly, we were told that they weren't responsible and that we should ask a colleague further up. We did so and were ignored by her, a move I have rarely experienced. When we repeatedly asked her politely (!) whether there was anything available or whether it might become available soon (at first we thought she might not have understood us), we were given unfriendly looks and simply not answered. We stood lost for a while next to her while she checked out tables, because we thought we might be interrupting the process and she would come straight over to us. No, she didn't, but disappeared. After about 20 minutes we left the place. Conclusion: The service was abysmal. I've rarely felt so unwelcome and like a supplicant! Apparently, it's "not necessary here" - never again!

Coco Riviera is one of the most beautiful places on the Alster for a drink or two. The view is simply breathtaking, and the benches/seating are comfortable. Bringing a light jacket is recommended at this time of year. The drinks are not only reasonably priced, but also very tasty, and the selection is huge. The service was also excellent; the servers are very friendly, and you don't have to wait half a century for your ordered drinks.

The service is very bad ! The waitress take our order and after 40 minutes , she say we are in waiting list for 3 cocktails and one water!??? In same time people who came after us was received their orders . NOT RECOMMENDED!!

We were there for 40mins to an hour in total. First, we had to wait 20mins for a menu. We ordered 2 mojitos and one Espresso Martini, which is not even that hard to make. There were at least 4 tables that came after us that they got their drinks before us. At the end we decided to get up and leave. The atmosphere is pretty, but for sure not worth it. Customer service at it’s lowest. Not happy at all!!!!!

Here you can relax and drink an Aperol and eat a waffle right by the water. We were very satisfied and the prices were okay too. Addendum: we wanted to go back here last time and unfortunately it was despite normal Opening times closed. Too bad.

When the sun is shining and there is little wind, a wonderful place right on the Alster! Despite the crowds, you can find a seat after waiting a bit. The kitchen and staff also manage demand with patience and without neglecting quality.

This boat pier on the Alster is an absolute insider tip! With a beautiful view of the water and the sunset, this place offers a beautiful atmosphere that invites you to linger. The friendly staff and attentive service ensure that you feel completely comfortable. There are small, tasty snacks to eat and a good selection of food and drinks. Enjoying a good glass of wine with friends makes the evening perfect. The value for money is excellent and overall the jetty on the Alster is an absolutely beautiful place that you definitely have to visit.

We had a great time with friends after dinner. We managed to get a table by the water for 4 people. It felt like we were at a resort by the sea. We took a bottle of Rose, not bad. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet, perhaps it was cleaner during the daytime.

Service is outrageous. I'm actually not a fan of bad reviews, but I can't ignore this one. The service deliberately made us wait when assigning tables. For me, the statement "a moment is less than 10 minutes." There were plenty of seats. She kept looking over at us , then cleaned at least 4 tables, looked over and then cashed in at other tables. Afterwards I had the feeling that she was kidding us. I then asked another waitress if she could assign us one of the many free tables. She could, wanted to couldn't help us, preferred to have fun with the situation at the drinks counter. Then we went somewhere else. No problem for me in this situation. I wish Coco Riviera continued success with the service.

To the right of the Alster, every pier now has a small, beautiful outdoor restaurant. Chill out and enjoy the sunset right by the water. Beautiful.

Really nice location, the great location can of course be paid for with higher prices. Service itself tried hard and - as far as possible when understaffed - okay, but please don't charge €1.50 if you want half of a pizza packed! I find that rather undignified and embarrassing considering the prices. Toilet cleanliness can also be improved, that should be possible.

The perfect place for warm summer evenings to end the day and reward yourself with a drink or a little something to eat. The service is friendly and attentive. We were lucky enough to get a place by the water with 4 people without a reservation. Drinks were delicious and the location was 100% value for money. We had a platter with sausage and cheese accompaniments, which was generously stocked for 4 people. Only with the bread as a side dish could it be improved a lot. 100% recommendation

The Coco Reviera is in a beautiful location with a very nice atmosphere, but I appeal to the service staff: a smile costs nothing and neither does politeness! The employees seemed annoyed again, even though there was hardly anything going on when we were there! The food is okay, but nothing special and accordingly the prices should be reconsidered or other dishes should be offered. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pretty sight that the pre-cooked spaghetti was left to drain right next to the sink in which the dirty dishes were washed. The hygiene concept definitely dictates something different! The toilets should also be checked more often! I hope that some things will be taken to heart and a few things will change in this regard, as the location is really beautiful!

We were there on a Saturday morning shortly after it opened. We made reservations - but received no confirmation or cancellations. So we went anyway. The entrance gate was still half locked. We and other guests were initially a bit perplexed. Despite reservations going wrong, we got a table for seven people. The ambience: wonderful. It was sunny, the Alster was quiet and a really nice view. The service overall was quick and the other waiters helped so that we all got our breakfast almost at the same time. That was great. The waitress responsible for us was difficult to predict when it came to her mood. Sometimes super friendly, sometimes super annoyed (our table was wet and we asked if we could get a cloth - that was probably asking too much. The breakfast: rolls and bread very tasty. The jams and sausage selection were also good. At just over €20 plus drinks, it's a bit steep. But overall, with these small drawbacks, we left satisfied and full. I personally can highly recommend the passion fruit and mint spritzer. 👍

Super friendly service, great atmosphere. Even if it was only for two short drinks, the visit was worth it. Update: I was in Hamburg again and was actually in the COCO riviera for 3 out of 3 days. As usual, it was wonderful, the view over the Outer Alster was excellent and the service was super friendly and accommodating. This time I was able to enjoy the food too. The truffle fries are an insider tip and the breakfast was also mega delicious.

The staff doesn't know the names of the dishes they're bringing, and most of our order got messed up - we never received what we initially ordered and had to tell them to take it off the bill. Anyways, the food was not good and way overpriced. The only good things about this place are the drinks and the view.

In general i i would avoid he place.We ordered two beers, and after a 30-minute wait, they brought one alcohol-free beer and one different from what we ordered. We didn't want to wait to have them changed, so we drank them anyway. After another 30 minutes, we ordered two more bottles and received two draft beers instead. The staff is extremely slow and inexperienced. The waiters were noticeably inefficient, often carrying only two drinks at a time and struggling to manage even a tray.
