COCO riviera in Hamburg

Coco Riviera is one of the most beautiful places on the Alster for a drink or two. The view is simply breathtaking, and the benches/seating are comfortable. Bringing a light jacket is recommended at this time of year. The drinks are not only reasonably priced, but also very tasty, and the selection is huge. The service was also excellent; the servers are very friendly, and you don't have to wait half a century for your ordered drinks.

Very good food and a great atmosphere. Very friendly service in the front. The lady in the back is beyond arrogant.

The service is very bad ! The waitress take our order and after 40 minutes , she say we are in waiting list for 3 cocktails and one water!??? In same time people who came after us was received their orders . NOT RECOMMENDED!!

We were there for 40mins to an hour in total. First, we had to wait 20mins for a menu. We ordered 2 mojitos and one Espresso Martini, which is not even that hard to make. There were at least 4 tables that came after us that they got their drinks before us. At the end we decided to get up and leave. The atmosphere is pretty, but for sure not worth it. Customer service at it’s lowest. Not happy at all!!!!!

A very important component of two typical snack dishes was sold out. The price (incidentally very high even for Hamburg) remained that of two complete dishes. When I asked a friendly question about this, I was slightly offended and replied: "I told you it was over." Well, we didn't want to go without the few remaining ingredients because we were hungry. Usually the price doesn't stay the same elsewhere, you discount one of the drinks or something similar. Not here. It's nice to sit, the taste of the leftover food - which is not French at all - was okay. However, it is by no means better than the diverse competition right next door, which is also located right on the water. We won't be coming back.

Here you can relax and drink an Aperol and eat a waffle right by the water. We were very satisfied and the prices were okay too. Addendum: we wanted to go back here last time and unfortunately it was despite normal Opening times closed. Too bad.

When the sun is shining and there is little wind, a wonderful place right on the Alster! Despite the crowds, you can find a seat after waiting a bit. The kitchen and staff also manage demand with patience and without neglecting quality.

This boat pier on the Alster is an absolute insider tip! With a beautiful view of the water and the sunset, this place offers a beautiful atmosphere that invites you to linger. The friendly staff and attentive service ensure that you feel completely comfortable. There are small, tasty snacks to eat and a good selection of food and drinks. Enjoying a good glass of wine with friends makes the evening perfect. The value for money is excellent and overall the jetty on the Alster is an absolutely beautiful place that you definitely have to visit.

We had a great time with friends after dinner. We managed to get a table by the water for 4 people. It felt like we were at a resort by the sea. We took a bottle of Rose, not bad. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet, perhaps it was cleaner during the daytime.

To the right of the Alster, every pier now has a small, beautiful outdoor restaurant. Chill out and enjoy the sunset right by the water. Beautiful.

Service is outrageous. I'm actually not a fan of bad reviews, but I can't ignore this one. The service deliberately made us wait when assigning tables. For me, the statement "a moment is less than 10 minutes." There were plenty of seats. She kept looking over at us , then cleaned at least 4 tables, looked over and then cashed in at other tables. Afterwards I had the feeling that she was kidding us. I then asked another waitress if she could assign us one of the many free tables. She could, wanted to couldn't help us, preferred to have fun with the situation at the drinks counter. Then we went somewhere else. No problem for me in this situation. I wish Coco Riviera continued success with the service.

Really nice location, the great location can of course be paid for with higher prices. Service itself tried hard and - as far as possible when understaffed - okay, but please don't charge €1.50 if you want half of a pizza packed! I find that rather undignified and embarrassing considering the prices. Toilet cleanliness can also be improved, that should be possible.

Great ambience, nice service. We enjoyed after-work drinks here while watching the beautiful sunset in Hamburg. The restaurant is highly recommended for sunny days in Hamburg on the Outer Alster

The perfect place for warm summer evenings to end the day and reward yourself with a drink or a little something to eat. The service is friendly and attentive. We were lucky enough to get a place by the water with 4 people without a reservation. Drinks were delicious and the location was 100% value for money. We had a platter with sausage and cheese accompaniments, which was generously stocked for 4 people. Only with the bread as a side dish could it be improved a lot. 100% recommendation

The Coco Riviera is perhaps a little more expensive. In return you get very tasty food and good drinks from the friendly staff in a best location. Also recommended when there are clouds in the sky, as long as it's not raining.

The Coco Reviera is in a beautiful location with a very nice atmosphere, but I appeal to the service staff: a smile costs nothing and neither does politeness! The employees seemed annoyed again, even though there was hardly anything going on when we were there! The food is okay, but nothing special and accordingly the prices should be reconsidered or other dishes should be offered. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pretty sight that the pre-cooked spaghetti was left to drain right next to the sink in which the dirty dishes were washed. The hygiene concept definitely dictates something different! The toilets should also be checked more often! I hope that some things will be taken to heart and a few things will change in this regard, as the location is really beautiful!

We had reserved a table for my friend's birthday and ended up standing in front of a closed door with two other guests who had also reserved! Neither she nor I received an email, a call, etc. with a rejection. Bad service

Very nicely located on the Outer Alster. I was there for an after work party, it was nice.

The view is really unique, but unfortunately the lack of staff does not stop at this location and what is left probably brought the knowledge from the last neighborhood bar or tattoo studio. Unfortunately a bit inappropriate for this location.

We had reserved a table, but there was no response to two email inquiries (phone number not available) due to bad weather. We can't judge the food, service is subpar.

We were there on a Saturday morning shortly after it opened. We made reservations - but received no confirmation or cancellations. So we went anyway. The entrance gate was still half locked. We and other guests were initially a bit perplexed. Despite reservations going wrong, we got a table for seven people. The ambience: wonderful. It was sunny, the Alster was quiet and a really nice view. The service overall was quick and the other waiters helped so that we all got our breakfast almost at the same time. That was great. The waitress responsible for us was difficult to predict when it came to her mood. Sometimes super friendly, sometimes super annoyed (our table was wet and we asked if we could get a cloth - that was probably asking too much. The breakfast: rolls and bread very tasty. The jams and sausage selection were also good. At just over €20 plus drinks, it's a bit steep. But overall, with these small drawbacks, we left satisfied and full. I personally can highly recommend the passion fruit and mint spritzer. 👍

Super friendly service, great atmosphere. Even if it was only for two short drinks, the visit was worth it. Update: I was in Hamburg again and was actually in the COCO riviera for 3 out of 3 days. As usual, it was wonderful, the view over the Outer Alster was excellent and the service was super friendly and accommodating. This time I was able to enjoy the food too. The truffle fries are an insider tip and the breakfast was also mega delicious.

It was a disaster. The staff doesn't know the names of the dishes they're bringing, and most of our order got messed up - we never received what we initially ordered and had to tell them to take it off the bill. Anyways, the food was not good and way overpriced. The only good things about this place are the drinks and the view.

In general i i would avoid he place.We ordered two beers, and after a 30-minute wait, they brought one alcohol-free beer and one different from what we ordered. We didn't want to wait to have them changed, so we drank them anyway. After another 30 minutes, we ordered two more bottles and received two draft beers instead. The staff is extremely slow and inexperienced. The waiters were noticeably inefficient, often carrying only two drinks at a time and struggling to manage even a tray.

I was here with a closed group and can recommend it. Very tasty food, good drinks and nice employees. The ambience is unbeatable when the weather is good! The cleanliness and number of toilets could have been a little better, as could the information about allergens.

A really wonderful place, as the name suggests, Coco Riviera, from the Atlantic Hotel just cross the pedestrian traffic lights and you're in this newly opened cafe and restaurant on the Outer Alster. Delicious offers and very nice and friendly service staff.

Ok, so the view, location, atmosphere, and staff are super, but the fried potato wedges are top world-class. No fries I have ever eaten taste better than the ones here. And I've been eating a lot of fries in my life.

One of the most relaxing places that I have been to. The service was really good. And the most important thing for me was that beer was cold.

Ich freue mich, meine Erfahrung „Coco Riviera“ zu teilen! Die Lage in Hamburg ist wirklich unschlagbar und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Alster. Die freundliche Atmosphäre und die angenehmen Bedingungen machen den Besuch zu einem Genuss. Ich liebe es, nach dem Segeln dort einzukehren, um bei Speisen und Getränken den Blick auf das Wasser zu genießen. Ein wirklich toller Ort!

Toller Platz, Ambiente großartig, leider gab es zur zweiten Runde (11:45) keine Möglichkeit noch etwas zum Frühstück nachzubestellen, sehr schade 😡... (Das Küchenpersonal war mit der Vorbereitung für die Mittagskarte beschäftigt!?) Es gab dann zum Trost, einen Brötchenkorb extra.

Sehr schöner Steg. Sehr entspannend und entschleunigend. Preise entsprechend der Lage. Toller Sonnenuntergang. Essen gut aber sehr schnell kalt in dieser Lage. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit. Musik ist teilweise zu Laut. Man findet immer einen Platz. Fast alles Plätze mit gutem Blick.

An der Alster auf einem Steg gelegen, Sitz-Gelegenheiten mit Blick auf die Alster ausgerichtet.Modernes Ambiente ein schöner Platz zum Entspannen. Kaffee und Kuchen schmeckten gut und wurden auch zügig serviert.

Man kann hier schön abhängen und auf die Alster schauen. Tische stehen im Eingangsbereich weit genug auseinander, sodass man auch Geschäftliches besprechen kann. Service nett und flott unterwegs. Bei schönem Wetter kann man durchaus länger verweilen. Getränke top, Preise für die Lage noch moderat.

Super Ambiente, tolle Aussicht. Leider viel zu hohe Preise. Wir sind abends hier gewesen. Leider wurden uns sehr wässrige Getränke serviert. Man hat kaum noch Cola und Sprite geschmeckt. Die freundliche Bedienung hat es ausgetauscht und siehe da, es war besser. Gegen 21 Uhr waren sehr viele Getränke schon nicht mehr zu haben. Das war gestern auch schon so gegen Abend. Meiner Meinung nach schlecht organisiert. Man weiß, dass Ferien sind und muss das einplanen. Das Konzept ist gut hier, aber die Umsetzung, daran muss noch gefeilt werden. Alles in allem Mittelmaß.

Es war super schön und ein mega Ambiente... würde jederzeit wieder dort meine Zeit verbringen....
