Missed a real Vietnamese food since my visit in Vietnam many years ago, and this one was so so good. Perfect banh mi and pho soup! And the staff is super nice :)

I had specifically chosen the restaurant for a meal with a friend who has celiac disease. Even when ordering, we asked more than once whether all the dishes were truly gluten-free, and that we understood if that couldn't be guaranteed. Then we would have simply eaten somewhere else. We were assured, however, that everything was safe for her. However, 1-2 hours after eating, it started, and the food was definitely NOT gluten-free. A truly horrific reaction, the likes of which I haven't experienced in months, hence my extremely negative review. I understand that not every restaurant can guarantee gluten-free food, but then they shouldn't claim that to customers either. So, absolutely not recommended for people with gluten intolerances.

Banh Mi is soooo good. It still tastes amazing at home, even if you take it with you!

Was feeling under the weather and looking for some soupy food in the area. Chanced upon this Vietnamese eatery and ordered “Bun Bo Hue”. Really tasty and hearty. Felt better after the meal and thought I should leave a positive review.

Very tasty, and very reasonably priced. The Banh Mi and salad roll portions were very generous size.

The hygiene conditions are poor. I had a Pho and the broth was just MSG… what a pity.

Very reasonable prices but the quality of the banh mi is not extraordinary, the employees are not very friendly or welcoming.

The peanut curry was a bit too spicy for me, which my stomach can't handle, and it wasn't advertised (but I don't know if it's always spicy), so I couldn't really eat it. Instead, I got a vegan banh mi, which was absolutely delicious. The Vietnamese-style rice was also really good.

Such a lovely authentic kitchen! The Bún Chả Nướng was fantastic — tender marinated pork with a rich, fragrant broth just at the bottom, giving the whole dish incredible flavor. The mix of fresh herbs made it truly magical. Highly recommend!

Great food, Bánh mì and Phở are pretty authentic taste. Bún bò nam bộ and Bún chả are good also. The owner is very lovely and friendly. This is a must-come place when in Berlin!!!

Service was really quick, however returning to the store and having my order screamed at me after rso on a monday was very intense. Lemongrass was missing in the lemongrass tofu banh mi, bread was not crispy, became soggy quicky and fell apart due to the moisture from the fillings. The sandwich was very bland. Put me in a bad mood for the next few hours.

Been wanting to go here for YEARS and happy j finally did. Really good vibes inside (even though we didn't stay) and delicious banh mi. No fuss or anything, just a good portion for a rally good price. Will be back :) hopefully sooner this time haha

Pho is cooked in Southern style, not Northern style. But it is delicious. The owner is enthusiastic and cheerful. I also ordered beef noodle soup, which was also very delicious.

I order Pho with beef and get Pho with chicken?! Unfortunately, I only noticed it at home.

Update to my original comment: Unfortunately, I have to completely change my mind. I went there again last week, ate the Classic Banh Mi with pork – and got food poisoning afterwards! After reading other reviews, this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. Food poisoning should never become the "norm"! This is extremely irresponsible. This is about the health of the guests – and that should be taken seriously. I had a pretty good impression beforehand: The Classic Banh Mi (with pork) tasted really great, and the Pho (with beef) – albeit a bit too salty – was also impressive with the spicy sauce. The prices were reasonable, and although the atmosphere was a bit chilly, the good food made up for it. But after this experience, I can't and won't recommend the restaurant anymore.

All Bahn mi’s are gluten free, the best gf bread I’ve ever had, it was so delicious and fresh I went 3 times for pho and Bahn mi in my 4 days in Berlin! Highly recommend

One thing is missing with all the Berlin banh mi places: a big banh mi option with ALL the different meats. Like in Vietnam. I would pay more for that 👍

Honest customer experiences are the foundation of platforms like Google Reviews, and I believe it's important to be transparent, both when something is excellent and when there’s room for improvement. I hope this updated review is received in that spirit: The chicken Banh Mi I ordered was disappointingly unbalanced in flavor and texture. The meat was overly salty and quite dry, which made the sandwich hard to enjoy. The vegetable mix was mostly plain carrots with very few of the traditional pickled elements that usually define a proper Banh Mi. There was barely any sauce, which only made the dryness more noticeable. Perhaps other versions on the menu are better, but based on this experience, it felt rushed and lacking in authenticity. That said, it’s affordable and served quickly — though quality clearly takes a back seat.

The soup was okay, but the broth was tasteless. The meat was also only average.

I got the BBQ pork banh mi. The pork was a bit dry, but otherwise it isn’t a bad banh mi place for Berlin.

I had a pork banh mi that was absolutely delicious, maybe the best I've ever had! But the staff was absolutely awful. I don't know if it's because we don't speak German, but the waitress was really mean and even threw us out just as we'd finished eating and were getting ready to leave. It's a shame because I really enjoyed it. I only recommend it if you speak the language well, otherwise avoid it!!!!!

Both the Bahn Mi with chicken and the vegetarian version with lemongrass tofu are incredibly delicious. The whole thing is also gluten-free and has an unbeatable price! The atmosphere is cozy and there is lively Vietnamese music playing while you eat. The employees are very nice and the store is clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

I've been coming here almost every day for three years. The food is delicious, and I especially like the tofu. The shop is clean, and the staff is friendly.

I've been a customer for years and have never had a complaint! The price and quality are very good, and I don't understand why some people expect luxury for so little money! Of course, you can't expect luxury from those who, in my opinion, serve good food at moderately low prices! I never had any concerns about hygiene, and neither did my friends! I can only recommend Co Co, especially for the always friendly Asian staff!

Disasters sorry! Where do these good reviews come from? Quality junk! Hygiene catastrophic! The woman at the checkout misses the guy making the sandwich! The cheapest pho noodle! Cheap meat and quality low level full of glutamate, just pure salt!!! This is an insult and disrespect to the guests and food, it's sad that you're being so foolish with your own money! Because of shops like this I'm less and less interested in eating outside! Eating at home is better for your health! Such a sad thing! German veggies, no sauce and tasteless tofu. There are better vegan Ban Mi options within a 10-minute walk.

Had one of the sandwiches here and it was very solid. Something different than kebabs and the like. I haven't tried the soups, but according to my colleagues they are also very good. The prices are absolutely fine.

Very good Banh Mi and good menu offer for 10€ (plus drink and salad).

The vegetarian banh mi tastes really bland. In my opinion, the sauce didn't taste good at all and the lemongrass tofu was also very bland. I can't recommend it for a banh mi here. However, the prices are very good. Definitely cheaper compared to others. The service was also so friendly. I would give it another try because of the dishes, maybe my opinion will change :)

The BEST bahn mi classic in the whole of Germany. My boyfriend and I love it. I’m so happy I found this independent restaurant, the staff seem friendly even when it’s busy. My friends and I had something to eat here last Friday. We all had different dishes, different Banh Mi variants as well as a plate meal and a Pho soup. 6/6 had food poisoning the next day, the full program of vomiting and diarrhea! Unless hygiene changes, we would like to warn other people not to eat here.

Nice banh mi, especially the lemongrass tofu vegetarian one ! The buttery sauce inside is very creamy and delicious. The space is nice to sit and chat, comfy atmosphere. 6,50€ for one banh mi. I tried also the yoghurt shake, which was good but too sweet for my liking. But well, if there’s no condensed milk it’s not really a Vietnamese drink.

I went because of the good reviews but was shocked at how bad the food was. The Tuna Banh Mi tasted like a tuna sandwich from the supermarket refrigerated section and the Classic Meat tasted so cheap and bland that I couldn't finish it. I feel very sorry for the operators! The shop looks nice and so does the menu, but the food can hunt me down.

The food is okay. It was my second time there and I ordered something to take away. First of all, extremely unfriendly staff! Doesn't work at all. Then the baguette was extremely dry. I thought I'd try it again but I definitely won't go there again!

We had as "dish of the day" the peanut curry and the veggie banmhni (tofu) and both were absolutely amazing. The curry has a bit of veggies and rice cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce. It is spicy, don't order it if you don't eat ANY spicy food. The banhni (sandwich) surprised me 100% as i had never tried it before. The place has something special and at the time we went it was quiet and brought us peace in the middle of the Berlin crowded center. It was exactly what we wanted. The people who were already there and the ones who entered were clearly people who had been there before. Of my favorite restaurants in Berlin for sure.

I love the freshness of Banh Mi; it was light and flavorful. I could taste the tanginess from the sauce and the freshness from the veggies. All the ingredients blended together to create an amazing taste. I totally love having this for lunch!
