I got a kebab to go today. When I got home, I immediately noticed that the meat tasted spoiled—a definite foul taste that was unmistakable. I threw the kebab away. If I experience any discomfort or stomach pain in the next few days, I will notify the health department. Very disappointing and absolutely unacceptable.

My order was taken at the table, and the food was served quickly. The taste was good, but I would have liked a bit more sauce. The doner kebab plate here is well-filled for the price and pairs well with the flatbread. While the ambiance isn't unique, it's inviting to eat inside.

I haven't been here in a long time and was pleasantly surprised by the service; all the staff are super friendly, and we were even able to order at the table. The fries were top-notch, exactly as they should be. The bread is designed so that you don't lose half the topping while eating, which I think is great. However, the bread was very bland, so the rest of the kebab also seemed a bit bland. Unfortunately, the kebab was just standard fare for me, but I'll order something different next time and hopefully be able to raise my rating. Please note - cash only.

So far, I've only tried the doner kebab, which is absolutely standard. 5/10 is special, the portion is huge. Otherwise, the service is excellent.

The food tastes like nothing. The sauce disaster. No seasoning in the food. Never again. The waiter is truly disrespectful. The doner kebab "meat" skewer doesn't look appetizing... it's made of a strange mass. So I ordered the falafel plate. The fries and falafel are of very poor quality. I was actually sorry for the €13... and my stomach was even more sorry :/ and at the end, they tell me that payment is only possible in cash.

I was looking forward to a quick, hearty snack, but was sadly disappointed. The meat in the doner kebab was of very poor quality – tough, stringy, and with an unpleasant aftertaste. Instead of the juicy and flavorful flavor you'd expect from good doner meat, it tasted more like cheap pressed meat or inferior leftovers that had been carelessly heated. The texture was also problematic: partly dry, partly greasy, with no bite at all. The flavor was completely lacking in flavor or freshness.

I've never eaten such a bad kebab. They have no idea what garlic tastes like. They have two sauces, and they both taste the same. I was very disappointed and will never go there again.

We went to City Kebab House again, as we don't live nearby, but we keep coming back. We've been doing this for 20 years. Of course, the prices have gone up, but why not? Everything is getting more expensive. But we keep coming back because the food is really very good and everyone there is very nice. We can only recommend it; if we lived locally, we would go there much more often. We've always had the best kebabs you could wish for.

This place is perfect for people without high expectations. Lots of kebabs, but little flavor. We recently ordered pizzas for the company. As I said, everyone agreed: filling, yes, but tasteless. And that for €10.50 each.

This is the most beautiful and delicious place 🙂

Basically I think the food there is OK... But the prices are no longer proportional. Yesterday I ate a yufka with cheese there and drank a coke with it and had to pay €14 for it... That's definitely too expensive and bears no relation to the quality and taste of the food. It's a shame, I used to really enjoy eating there.

Then you can save on the employees who just stand around) I don't seem to be alone in this opinion. The store used to be always full, no matter what time it was. Even outside of peak times you had to expect waiting times. Today the operators can be happy if two tables are occupied at the same time. There is also no trace of the line of people placing their “take away” orders anymore, the store is past its best days and that was 3+ years ago. At that price I'd rather order a schnitzel with fried potatoes and get a salad for free + it's delivered to my door.

Last year I went to this restaurant with my friends and the food was really bad and today we went again because we wanted to try the food again but we were welcomed with unhygienic glasses. Yes they were very disgusting and I ordered normal water, they gave me tap water then I mentioned to change my drink, I even told them that I would pay but the staff was really rude. Now after eating me and my friends all have the same symptoms of food poisoning. I don't recommend this restaurant.

One of these two men also took my order with my money. The same man who touched my money prepared my food without washing his hands first. But unfortunately this happened to me again with the money. I just find this unhygienic and unacceptable.
