On July 15, 2025, we went there for the first time during our vacation because of the positive reviews. It could really be given 5*****. The staff were friendly and attentive, BUT: €13 for a doner kebab without bread and sauce is simply not enough to warrant more stars. I can't fault the taste, but the price is just not right. For €13, I would have expected sauce and maybe a flatbread, neither of which was available. I don't know if this is generally the case, but a doner kebab without sauce is just too dry for my taste and the price is simply too high. Maybe we were just unlucky and it was forgotten, but that doesn't warrant more than 3***.

The doner is one of the best chicken doner I have ever had and the owner is very nice and definitely worth a try.

I had a doner kebab box. The meat was excellent, the fries were absolutely top-notch and super crispy, and the sauces were delicious. My go-to doner kebab in Wangen.

I often go there for kebabs or pizza. The atmosphere is very friendly. And the food is incredibly delicious 😋

Unfortunately, the doner kebab isn't to my taste. It's full of carrots, pickles, lots of onions, not much lettuce, and there's no cabbage at all. Maybe some people like it, but the taste isn't what I expect when I order a doner kebab. The other dishes weren't as convincing, and they were quite expensive.

I bought Lahcum, it was very good and tasty, just a little cold, but maybe that's how it should be served. Nice service, I recommend it to those who will be passing through here with a truck. There's a beautiful old place nearby The tower has been nicely restored.

Large portions, doner kebab plate with fries was delicious. Beef wasn't available, so I had to get chicken. I didn't like the way the sauces were slapped together. I wasn't asked what kind of sauce I wanted, even though it wasn't busy. The salad on the plate consisted only of onions and red cabbage and a small piece of tomato. Payment is cash only (!!!), they don't take cards, which isn't really possible these days, in my opinion. That's why I'm deducting one star for the service. However, the staff is very friendly, and the meat and fries were good, so I'm still giving it three stars overall.

Doner kebab was good but the meat was cold and not freshly cut. It came out of a box. Since that's the main ingredient, I don't think it's good. Please always cut the meat fresh and serve it. I'll come back and hope it's better then. Would like to improve the rating.

Was picking up a kebab yesterday. First I waited for 35 minutes and then I got meat out of the bucket. I have no idea when this was cut. At least completely cold. I find it really disgusting, if I had known that it was cold I wouldn't have paid. Then I wanted to complain but that were in such a bad mood that I didn't do it. Really bad store!!! Was there 2 days ago, wanted to test it after the change of ownership - yes, it's horrible what's being served up and above all, I thought it was good!!!!!! Not recommended at all, thought New People— different concept - far from it - even worse as predecessor. Since there is nothing good about kebab in Wangen, I tried my luck again today. But, my goodness, how can a kebab be made so badly. F A C I T: Never eat there again.

What did the new owners do with the city kebab??? I just bought a kebab. It was super tasty Cocktail sauce was incredibly tasty and at the end I drizzled some salt and lemon juice (fresh) on top. Conclusion: it was super tasty and I recommend customers to eat there. I recommend the operator to stay there.

Doner kebab plate with fries. For 13€ Vegetables were boring. Fries nice and warm, but taste bland. Meat was almost tastelessly leathery and had jet black spots in some places. Although the staff was polite, they were called by their nicknames a few times, which I personally find disgraceful. The sauce was okay. The only plus point was that there was no music playing. My personal conclusion: waste of money. I regret the visit.

Since the reopening, only cash payments have been possible. Sorry, I'm not comfortable with that, I'll go eat somewhere else in the future.

We recently spontaneously went to City Kebab, which was our second visit. Never again. The first time we went there I had a completely different salad plate than the last time. The first salad plate was with mixed lettuce, carrots, grated radishes, the last time the chopped lettuce was simply used for kebab. Lahmacun was just dough, no toppings at all, there wasn't even 1 teaspoon of toppings on it. Tables were not wiped and there were crumbs on almost all tables. I don't know if the owners have changed but it was definitely completely different on the first visit and they were so happy.

It was once the best in the region Unfortunately after the renovation with the change of ownership it is no longer good The meat does not come out of the box freshly cut from the skewer into the kebab The flatbread is probably bought across the street and no longer made in-house The portions have become significantly smaller especially with the young lady I would still accept it for 5€ Save Save Why does everything get worse after every change of ownership?

Best kebab! The owner and all other employees are super friendly. The pictures and interior design make the store look much younger than it did two years ago. Everything is hygienic and great attention is generally paid to cleanliness and quality.

There were four of us there for lunch. The guest room is simple. It was very cold outside that day and in the room too. The service is friendly and happy to respond to individual requests. The food was consistently delicious. It is popular among young people and students.

Beef (Yaprak kebab) is recommended. Bread and Dürüm are freshly made and taste accordingly. Very friendly and fast staff.

Went there for lunch today had 2 kebabs, 1 dürum and 1 lahmacun kebab, everything was freshly prepared and the bread was very tasty. Short waiting times and everything to your complete satisfaction. Definitely come by again PS: How are Muzo and his Opel Zafira doing? 😉

I have no idea what the kebab tastes like. After 45 minutes of waiting we still had no food, a kebab and a Dürüm. It's faster everywhere! We then gave our beepers back and left without eating. There was no apology either!

Super tasty kebab, the vegetarian one blew us away, lots of different vegetables and super delicious sauce! And the normal kebab and Dürüm are also very tasty! Absolute recommendation!

Die Grillgerichte sind geschmacklich wirklich sehr fein! Leider müssen wir aber ein paar Sterne abziehen - Eine Bestellung kam falsch an, bei der zweiten Bestellung fehlte leider die Hauptbeilage (Reis). Wir geben aber noch nicht auf - Das Essen ist zu lecker.. Freuen uns auf die nächste, hoffentlich vollständige, Bestellung (:

Der Rinder Döner würde leider viel zu dick geschnitten. Das Fleisch hat eher wie Gyros geschmeckt. Der Hähnchen Kebap hingegen hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Mein Rat wäre das Fleisch viel dünner zu schneiden.

Das Essen ist wunderbar, bin in der Woche ungefähr 2 mal dort essen und es schmeckt immerwieder gut 👍👍

The pizza crust, and the meat was well cooked. The combination of spices and sauces made the pizza delicious. I believe the service and the atmosphere could make it more better. Like the waiting time, and table service. It's a bit expensive but worth it. #Halal

Essen super...vor allem die neuen Grillgerichte am Wochenende, sehr freundliches Personal...auch bei der telefonischen Bestellung für 6 Personen...fast bei jedem Gericht nachgefragt was drauf oder drin sein soll...dann pünktlich fertig gewesen und alles war sehr heiß...macht weiter so 👍

Leider sehr viele Kunden, aber so ist das nunmal wenn man sehr gutes Essen macht.

An sich ist das Essen gut okay. Leider mußten die Zutaten für eine Pizza etc erst gejagt werden.
