Cigköftem Essen Kray in Essen

We bought 1 dürüm and 2 s package today, the dürüm var with cigköfte lavas but very expensive, the packages were with a little bad lavas that is real fraud

I actually enjoyed eating here often, but for the first time, I experienced a situation where one of the employees was neither friendly nor respectful. I was there on a Sunday evening and wanted to order a wrap. The woman behind the counter told me, annoyed, that she only made packages, while she was still making a wrap for Lieferando. Since I already felt unwelcome in the store at that point because of her tone, I didn't argue and just asked her if I could use the restroom before heading home. She looked at me as if I'd spat on her and just cheekily said again that this wasn't a public restroom, as if I hadn't tried to order something 10 seconds ago. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed coming here, and the rest of the staff were very nice too.

Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointment. The çiğköfte tasted absolutely nothing – completely bland and poorly prepared. The service was even worse: A young girl didn't greet me or treat me in any way friendly. While speaking, she even accidentally spat in my food – absolutely unhygienic! I got the feeling she had no desire to work there at all. This was definitely my last visit.

Shortly before closing time, a Cigköfte Dürüm was prepared for me and it tasted delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and there is also a good selection of drinks. Furthermore, the store is clean. The price-performance ratio is also right, which is why I like to leave a tip. Unfortunately I don't come from the Ruhr region, otherwise I would be a regular customer.

Ordered a "taco" for 6 euros and a burrito for 9 euros. The taco wasn't a real taco. For a taco, it had to be a tortilla taco shell. It was a small piece of dough. There was only ONE lettuce leaf inside and very little filling in general. Just 178g. See video. The burrito weighed 356g and could have been a bit bigger for 9 euros. The "taco" in particular was a real joke for the price. If you look at the pictures presented, it looks completely different. On top of that, both dishes were way too spicy, even though they specifically stated that they didn't include the hot sauce. Because of the spiciness, I can't comment on the taste, as I didn't get any of it. Be aware that if you order a "taco" here, you won't get a taco, and the portions are very small for the price. Just go somewhere else.

I was just there (11:15 a.m.) and wanted a wrap, but the employee's response was, "They don't have any yet, I just opened!" Wouldn't it make more sense to say, "I can make you one right now?"

When the food finally arrived an hour later, the bag and its contents smelled of cigarettes. We didn't think anything of it and ate, only to get a terrible stomach ache afterward...

The staff are great, the raw meatballs are nice, the only problem was the sauce, the pomegranate syrup didn't have the right taste, and the ladies at the counter were great.
