Delicious pizza with average service and a decent establishment. Bread was placed at the beginning, but without olive oil, seasoning, or plates, making it of limited use when ordering pizza. All in all, a solid restaurant.

Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately a complete disappointment. We had made an early reservation for eight people (11:45 a.m.), and yet the dishes didn't arrive at the same time. The vegetarian tagliatelle dish was particularly annoying: Although we specifically ordered a meatless version, we were charged full price for the version with fillet tips. The tagliatelle itself was served on a flat plate with a watery sauce. The cappuccino was also simply inedible. The desserts, tiramisu and profiterole, were not homemade, contrary to the restaurant's claim. There was also a piece of plastic in the profiterole – an absolute no-go! The fact that we had to specifically request the menu and the receipt for the card payment was only brought after we inquired shows how little value is placed on service here. The portion of sea bream fillet with chanterelle mushrooms was so tiny that it didn't even fit a child's portion. On top of that, all the dishes were lukewarm at best – more like cold. The grilled sea wolffish was served without any side dishes, without any mention of this on the menu. Side dishes apparently had to be ordered separately, which was not communicated to us. The fish shown was filleted out of sight, and the portion served was at most half the fish. To top it off, however, the fish was still frozen in the middle – absolutely unacceptable! Conclusion: Bad food combined with equally bad service and completely unreasonable prices. Anyone wanting to eat anything other than pizza should definitely avoid this place. For us, this was definitely our last visit – absolutely not a recommendation!

The staff were always friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the company. There were two vending machines with adult toys in the restrooms. I bought a few of them, but the quality is somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless, my experience here was excellent, and I would gladly return.

An Italian restaurant as we appreciate it. Top-notch food, authentic, perfect. One criticism: Cutting a pizza in half for two people and charging €2 for it is not good service – two points deducted.

Disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The meal started with a tomato soup that tasted like it was made from canned or bottled tomato sauce—lacking freshness and depth of flavor. The accompanying bread was dry and seemed like it had been sitting out for at least a day. For the main course, I had the tortellini with panna and prosciutto, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations either—the flavors were bland and the dish lacked balance. Overall, the quality of the food fell short, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my visit.

We went to the Ciao restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a very nice evening. The food was freshly cooked and tasted great. You could tell they used fresh ingredients. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. It was especially nice that the waitress offered us a shot of schnapps at the end; it was a great way to end the meal. We would definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

I wanted to order here and the lady at the reception was very rude because we only wanted to order food and not drinks and they took us away from the place, I wanted to explain that it is not mandatory to buy drinks in any place and she still took us away

I've eaten here several times now and I can't understand the reviews about bad food and poor service. I've tried a few starters, main courses, and desserts. Both from the weekly specials and the regular menu, and it was always delicious. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant.

The food was actually better than anything. I've probably eaten here 12 times. The furnishings are old-fashioned. Appetizing covering. Continuous sound with mp3s. No WiFi. You can also sit outside (although at a large intersection). The daily specials change every day. The pizzas are prepared in the show kitchen and are large in diameter. The waiter held the baguette with his bare left hand as he cut it.

It doesn't get more authentically Italian than this. Simply a reliably good address for years. From starter to dessert, tip top. Parking is a bit tricky at peak times, but you'll be rewarded with incredibly good pizzas. The Vespas on the window sills add the icing on the cake.

We always order takeaway pizza here. The Pizza Vegetariana is particularly good, with different vegetables cut in such a way that they are also pleasant to cook in the pizza oven. The service is quick and very accommodating.

I celebrated my 50th birthday at "Ciao" at the weekend. The buffet was three times more and more varied than agreed, wonderfully colorful and attractively prepared - for a fixed price. The staff was discreetly in the background all evening, but attentive and always friendly, even at a late hour. Special requests were happily fulfilled, and my guests once again called me a "perfectionist" because everything looked and ran so great. I would like to pass on this praise to Marco and his team!!!!! Thanks!

In the evening, around 8:30 p.m., we just wanted one more espresso. Asked: and no problem. We didn't eat, but on previous visits it was always very good. Next time we'll come back for dinner. Very friendly and accommodating. We were happy.

Excellent food, impeccable service, clean environment and friendly, smiling staff. Appetizer with carpaccio and chanterelles and delicious souffle with Gorgonzola cream. Absolutely try Antonio's pizza, you will find yourself in Italy while you are in Monaco 🇮🇹🍕🍻 Lastly, cream puffs with the chef's lemon cream. A delight for the palate!!!

Spaghetti very good, pizza good, Fish etc was not tried, But it seems to be well received! Friendliness of the staff is very good, the price is within normal limits. Small shady garden for dining which is very pleasant on warm days! Partly a bit noisy due to the street and nothing for children such as play facilities etc. I don't value both points because that would be unfair in the middle of Munich, but I would like to mention it! Parking spaces are typically rare in the city, but there is the V-Markt nearby where you can park! More problematic for people who don't walk well or even use a wheelchair. The interior is decorated in dark wood and is particularly nice in the evenings in the beautifully designed niches with wall paintings! I will also complete my review here once enough impressions have been collected, photos taken and the toilets have also been checked. I can also recommend this Italian!

After trying many pizzerias in Munich, I finally found Pizza Ciao and was amazed. The thin crust, tasty sauce, and generous cheese make it the best pizzeria I've tried here. From now on, Ciao will be my go-to. Highly recommended!

The pizza base was quite good, but "capricious" with the artichokes in vinegar. not even the pizza with anchovies and capers - 5 anchovies and a handful of capers in one corner, and all this for 25 euros 🫣

It used to be a decent quality italian restaurant in the hood but we stop visiting it as the quality of the service declined. Today we ordered 3 pizzas, the Margherita base was awful on the 3 pizzas, the cheese was melted like burned plastic. The pizza salami was also a letdown, aside from the plastic cheese the low quality fake salami looked out of place a true italian pizza. I ordered extra olives, rucula, and Parmaschinken on my Margherita, 🙄 big mistake, something like 2.5€ for 7 olives, 2.5€ for the triste rucula, and 3+€ for something like schinken, maybe from the Luis Voutton factory in Calabria. Never again! Ciao bambino.

Ordered pizza prosciutto and spaghetti carbonara. The carbonara was so good but the pizza was just ok. A little watery, maybe the dough was too thin or the was it the tomato sauce which has more water in it. It was kind on total

We had a office dinner event here and food was not good. Overall the service was decent but the food was below average. E.g. Risotto was served cold. Tagliatelle with vegetables had a couple string beans on it. The fish with sauce order was undercooked. Almost all dishes had only string beans as a side. Presentation was poor as well.

Italien Faire und 1A Italienische Kost. Wir waren eine Gruppe von über 20 Personen eine Mischung aus Kinder und Erwachsenen. Fazit: Super freundlicher Service, typisch Italienisch er Flaire. Eine Vorspeisenplatte die einen Fühlen lässt als wäre man im Süden Italiens und Haupspeisen die nicht nur satt machen sondern schmecken als hätte sie Gott selbst erschaffen! Italy Fair and 1A Italian food. We were a group of over 20 people a mix of children and adults. Conclusion: Super friendly service, typical Italian flair. A starter platter that makes you feel like you're in the south of Italy and main dishes that not only fill you up but taste like God himself created them! Great restaurant, highly recommended

Really good pizzas, but a bit expensive. Pasta is rather below average & too expensive for what it is. The ambience inside is nice, but sitting outside on the corner of two main streets is not that great.

I've eaten there several times now and every time it's been incredibly tasty and my companions were just as enthusiastic. Great service, I think the prices are ok. I would happily and often recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I usually eat at the weekend. We like it very much. We like to go there. The boss is very friendly and the food and drinks come fresh to the table. You can't miss it.

During my 8 week stay in Munich this became my go-to restaurant when I was working late. Amazing, authentic and delicious. All out Italians. No clue what they said. But the vibe, the service, the clientèle was perfect. I have now been trough most of their pasta dishes and they are all great. 10/10 - will miss this place when going home.

Sehr netter Italiener an der Ecke. Wir kommen etwa 2x im Monat ins Ciao, meistens unter der Woche, wenn wir nicht selber kochen wollen, sitzen immer in der süßen 2er Ecke. Die Pizza ist sehr gut, auch zum abholen. Die Trüffelpasta aus dem Parmesanlaib ist super lecker! Pasta mit Rinderfiletspitzen ist auch immer wieder top.

Einfach nur ein Wort PERFEKT!!!!!!

Das Restaurant war gegen 1315 leicht besucht, die Bedienung aufmerksam, freundlich und zügig. Getränke und Essen waren schnell am Tisch. Leider waren die Tortellini nicht ganz durch und etwas zu Bissfest. Die Lasagne war in der Mitte kalt. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten im offen nach Rückgabe, war sie Lasagne nur noch ein Brei der Geschmacklich genauso wenig überzeugt hat wie die Tortilinie. Die Tiramisu ging tatsächlich aufs Haus, aber leider auch hier gab es keine Geschmacksexplosion. Für die Entschuldigung und das aufs Haus gibt's aber einen Xtra Stern bei service, es gibt genügend die diesen Anstand nicht haben.

Wir in einer Gruppe von 10 Personen dort. Mit Reservierung hat das alles gut geklappt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Preise sind verhältnismäßig. Alles in allem lohnt es sich wieder hinzu gehen.

Addio, nicht ciao! Mittagsangebot Penne Napoli (Nudeln zu hart), gemischter Salat lieblos. Oft fuhr ich mit dem Bus vorbei, wollte wegen CIAO mal einkehren. Nee, wegen der Erfahrung nehm ich den Weg dorthin bestimmt nicht extra auf mich. Schade eigentlich.
