Yesterday's story isn't over yet. Today I was shocked by the foul-smelling biogas. I'm ashamed to fart. Hello

First visual impression: OK. But then: The manager explains where the suitcase should go. Seat is assigned. The menu: sweet and sour pork fillet strips. It was meat from the neck. Tasted okay. But an hour later, my stomach rebels. It's been fried in rancid oil. Then a burp festival. On top of that, there's a €1 surcharge for sticky, soggy rice. For a total of just under €20. Wheat beer at €5 isn't cheap. Tip: Avoid this dump. I was scammed for the first time at a Chinese restaurant. Never again.

This place is such a gem if you like flavorful foods. We ordered Suan la fen 酸辣粉(Sour spicy Sichuan soup), lamb skewers and preserved eggs. Everything was really delicious, can’t wait to try more dishes from that place. Definitely coming back

If u charge similar amounts to Tang Wang, Mama Cai and HoJan, then u should serve similar quality. For this price I can only give you two stars. The peanuts and potatoes were old, dishes were a bit bland and drenched in oil. Lower your prices by about a third and you'll get 4 Stars.

I've been there several times and am still very satisfied. The restaurant offers authentic Chinese food, pleasantly spicy and very tasty. The service is friendly and attentive. The prices are fair.

The shop is very clean. Two aquariums decorate the guest room and are very well maintained. However, the food looks better than it tastes. Rather bland and below average. The price/performance ratio is absolutely not right here! The beef with five spices for €9 was very, very dry. The sweet and sour pork for €17 tastes like any boring Chinese buffet, only here with more breading and less meat. The duck with pancakes was a winner for €24: 6 rubbery mini flat cakes and some medium quality meat. The service employee was very friendly, the boss not so much. Snippy and arrogant, doesn't look at the guest when answering a question or saying goodbye. I don't know why we should come back.

I had a meal at 8 o'clock today. I started having diarrhea on the highway when I got home at 9 o'clock. I had to find the toilet urgently. Now I am still running to the toilet at 11 o'clock. It's very close to where I live, so I followed the map and got in smoothly without making a reservation or waiting for a table. It still feels very clean and quiet. Be careful with everything without rice despite the high prices! We just ordered food home (€60 for three dishes) and of course didn't expect the dishes to be delivered without rice. Because all dishes are typically eaten with rice. You can't get a kebab without salad or bread. Very disappointing…

I have been in Dusseldorf for 2 weeks, and I have lunch or dinner with my colleagues in this restaurant almost every day. From the beginning, I was not very satisfied with the service attitude of the waiters, but then I decided to come there that day. On a Saturday lunchtime I was almost the only guest here. I was well looked after and the food I ordered came extremely quickly. There are really authentic Chinese dishes, some of which are very exotic. Both of my dishes were super tasty, but you also have to like a lot of garlic.

After visiting Cologne Cathedral, I flew to Dusseldorf to go to Iceland🇮🇸. I chose Sichuan Restaurant for dinner. I ordered steamed perch (bass) which was very delicious. The sausage tasted unique and delicious. Beer duck and stir-fried Four Seasons The beans have the flavor of Sichuan cuisine and are suitable for people who don’t eat chili peppers. The price is reasonable and the dining environment is comfortable. Like 👍like👍like. It’s more comfortable than the Chinese food in Cologne at noon.

The food was great, we have rarely had such good real Chinese food in Germany outside of China. Surely Sichuan cuisine is not for everyone because of the spiciness, but we found it very tasty. The staff (family-run restaurant) is also warm. We'd love to come back.

The food was very tasty. But I had the most horrible stomachache afterwards that lasted for several days and wasn't able to sleep because I felt so dreadful. It's a pity as I did really enjoy the food and found it to be very yummy and authentic, but after the awful 'runs' I don't think I want to risk it again.

We had a dinner around 8 PM today. The atmosphere was disgusting and not welcoming at all. The closure is 22 PM and we had enough time. But the owner was so unkind from the beginning. The fried green veggie was not properly cut (simply cut in half and stem end remains) so it was very difficult to eat. There was no rice served despite salty food. The owner discriminated the other Chinese clients with non-Chinese clients. They were so grumpy without saying "thanks" but charging us with no receipt.

Chuan Wei Chuan is a charming Chinese restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food is traditional and excellently prepared, and while the prices are a bit on the higher side, they're well worth it for the quality and ambiance.

The taste is okay, but the rice costs 2.5 per person and is not marked. I only found out when I checked out. The rice is also very poor and cooked very hard.

Authentic si chuan cuisine. As a Chinese, I really enjoy eating here. It is an original Chinese cuisine specializing in hot and spicy specialties. There are a lot of Chinese people here. If you are not Chinese, it is advisable to ask for the menu for the original Chinese cuisine, otherwise you will only find what you can find everywhere. Personally, I thought it was better back then. Unfortunately, mouthwatering chicken wasn't as good as I hoped and other dishes were ok too. The only good thing was the water spinach. Portions have also become smaller :/ I'll still come back because I like the staff. Otherwise it would be 3 stars from my side.

I discovered this restaurant by chance via UberEat delivery and liked the food so much that I went there to eat at the next opportunity. Chinese cuisine is so rich that you could eat something different every day of the year and not repeat it. The map here represents this very well. You can try your hand at the map here forever. Szechuan cuisine is outstanding here. Service is also quick and friendly. Of course it can take a while during trade fair times, which is very popular with Chinese trade fair guests. Fine, authentic Sichuan cuisine, although not all dishes are spicy! The owner is very friendly. The portions of the dishes are large. Ideally, you go as a small group and can try out more dishes. I recommend 3-4 dishes for two people and 5-6 dishes for four people.

First visited in the plague year of 2020, right after things got a tiny bit more relaxed. Been back in August and Sep, 2023 after moving across the Atlantic to the greater Düsseldorf area. First, on food. The menu is wide, by German Chinese restaurant standards. The dry pots are highly satisfying. The pork belly in fermented tofu sauce was lackluster when my friend and I tried it in September. The green string beans are flatter and broader than the more typical variety used for this dish, the effect is a touch more tenderness and less crunchiness, I quite like it this way. Second, but to some more importantly, the vibe. On my late August visit for dinner, the place was buzzing with a warm community vibe. There was Mandarin, Sichuan dialect, German and some other European languages flowing around. There were family with baby and business travelers. The sassy looking boss was giving kind reminders to two men who were catching a train later, “ You have xx minutes left before you’d better set out so you don’t miss your train.” I ended chatting with her, who seems to be the boss, a little. She loves good food and hunting down good restaurants is a big priority in her travels. Haha, it takes passion to run a good restaurant.

Mein 重庆辣子鸡 war schmackhaft und eine eher große Portion. Der Service war mittelfreundlich. Der Preis ist mit EUR 18,80 für deutsche Verhältnisse zu hoch. Eine Rechnung/Quittung wurde nicht präsentiert, Kartenzahlung wurde abgelehnt.

Eine chinesische Freundin hat dieses Restaurant im Internet gefunden. Beim Eintreffen habe ich meine Begleiterin gebeten für uns auszusuchen, damit ich wirklich authentische Gerichte kosten konnte. Kurz gesagt, für mich einfach köstlich, die Schärfe war für mich als Europäer gut und hat den Geschmacksinn nicht überlastet. Persönlich darf ich die Fischgerichte empfehlen. Meine Begleiterin, mit eigener Erfahrung in Restaurantküchen, hat das Essen sehr genossen. Beide werden wir gerne wieder hier zu Gast sein.

So mies. Absolute Katastrophe. So schlecht haben wir lange nicht gegessen.

Chuan Wei Chuan is my / our favorite place in Düsseldorf, serving the best/most authentic Sichuan food I’ve tasted outside China so far. I’ve been here very many times, for birthdays with family and friends, or just cause I really wanted to eat great food again. The owner and other staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is authentic and delicious, what else could anyone want? My favorite main courses? Fish in chili oil, fried shrimps with cauliflower and other vegetables, fried beans, lamb / beef with cilantro and cumin. When going there, don’t expect average Chinese cuisine; expect something with taste! My number 1 recommendation, thank you for making us happy so many times!

Update 08.2023 Wer gerne scharf essen möchte, ist hier ein richtiges. Sehr authentisches Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Ente ist empfehlenswert.

Forgot to take photo but this restaurant has the best SzeChuan taste in Europe, love the pickle and liver/kidney dish. This is a very tradition Chinese restaurant and highly recommend.

Super leckeres Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen. Wer mal etwas anderes Sucht ist hier richtig. Die Speisekarte lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Ausser den üblichen Gerichten in einen Chinesischen Restaurant werden auch mal sehr ausgefallene Gerichte serviert. Alles super frisch, sehr schmackhaft und authentisch chinesisch. Der Service ist zurück haltend aber sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist, wie ein typisches (deutsches) China Restaurant, eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt

Ein kleineres Restaurant mit traditionellen Asiatischen Gerichten. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Außerdem gibt es hier viel Auswahl und Gerichte, die es in anderen Asiatischen Restaurants nicht gibt.

Editing my previous review- very few vegetarian and vegan options now. The owner/ manager was very rude and kicked us literally out within an hour although we reserved a table and there was no time limit to our reservation. There are better places for dinner. It's sadly not what it was

We ordered rabbits but the real dish we got turned out to have a very strong chicken taste (five of us are positive! Rabbits often appear on our table too, so we know its texture.) the waitress insisted blatantly what they served was rabbits but come one man. After we asked that question the attitudes form the waitress changed completely.

Nicht empfehlenswert!! Werde auf keinem Fall wiederkommen. Sehr arrogante Mitarbeiter und das Essen ist auch wirklich nur mittelmäßig. Habe nicht viel erwartet, aber das hier ist echt enttäuschend. Außerdem wurde bei der Bestellung gesagt, dass der Reis „geschenkt“ wird und am Ende meinte die Chefin, dass jeder 1€ dafür zahlen soll. Es fehlt keinem dieser Euro, jedoch sollte es den Kunden vorher gesagt werden, sonst ist es ein Betrug. Es gibt also wirklich viele gute Restaurants in Düsseldorf und man kann es sich sparen, hierher zu kommen.
