Regular guest for 6+ months. Buffet has plenty of choice. There is also a Mongolian grill. Occasionally they come a little late with refilling otherwise it is always well filled. The quality of the duck and chicken often fluctuates a bit, but this is apparently due to the number of guests, which means that supplies need to be made quickly in the kitchen. I can't understand the complaints of some people here and they are much more the exception. And if you think the drinks are too expensive, please understand that restaurants of this type can usually only make a profit on the drinks if you get three fat ducks at the buffet.

Buffet on Monday evening €22.50 There is a large selection, but only 1 soup at the buffet. The combination of warm buffet and Mongolian buffet is good. Service is attentive and friendly. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste! A lot of things taste bland. Sauces at the Mongolian buffet were disappointing. Hot sauces not spicy. Red curry sauce neither spicy nor the typical coconut taste. Kangaroo and beef slightly chewy. Pork, turkey and chicken were OK. Fish (hake) smelled strongly of fish raw (fresh?!). Warm buffet, same picture. Lots of choice and variety, taste bland and boring. ChopSuey meat chewy. Somehow everything tasted the same. A pity! Dessert: not tried.

Friendly service, extensive selection.

Since I only bought a box via "to go to go" I can only rate the food. It was very delicious. Buttery chicken, juicy salmon, very well chopped vegetables and noodles. Gladly again

The ambience is not so typically Asian, overloaded with dragons and carvings, but rather cool with blue LEDs and high-quality, pleasantly simple furnishings. The buffet is rich, varied, is refilled sufficiently and is of good quality. The freshly prepared dishes are a bit too oily for me, but that's a matter of taste. In my opinion, this restaurant is reasonably priced and appropriate for the quality. Reservations always work reliably. When it's a little fuller it can get a bit loud (depending on who's sitting next to you). There are hardly any sound absorbers on the walls. Conclusion: Price-performance is absolutely right. Anyone who likes European-style Asian food will leave here full and satisfied.

It was also very disappointed. First of all, our voucher from the voucher booklet was not recognized because there was a buffet. Although we also took an a la card dish with us. Then we were given the wrong price for the buffet: 22.30 euros instead of 18.50 euros, since it was happy hour. The lady wasn't exactly friendly and could barely speak German. The food was so good, you could eat it, but compared to other restaurants it was rather inferior. Some things were not seasoned enough, some things were over seasoned. You had the feeling of eating pure Chinese 5 spice powder mix. Will definitely not visit Chou Shi again. We'd rather throw away our voucher.

We were there today and wanted to eat there during happy hour with the voucher booklet. Unfortunately that didn't work. Nowhere does it say that you cannot use the happy hour with the voucher booklet. Well, we still stayed and ate there. Food was ok, service and ambience too. But nothing more. We've had much better Asian food. And you should eat sushi at a Japanese restaurant and not a Chinese restaurant. True to the motto “Schuster stick to your lasts”.

Waiting half an hour for food because the opening times don't match the buffet!

I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. We eat there every now and then. There is a great buffet with different dishes. You can also have fish, meat or vegetables fried. We always get full. It's fresh and delicious. We are thrilled and would love to come back.

Cannot be compared with the competition in the immediate vicinity of Remscheid. In terms of taste and quality it could be significantly better.

I used to go there often and thought it was good. Now it doesn't taste good at all, it doesn't taste good and it's unfriendly too, so you won't see me there anymore, there are much better ones

Not enough staff. Unfortunately prices are far too high. Almost 23,- for the standard buffet in the evening. Savings are being made at every corner. There used to be a chocolate fountain. Now there is cream from the spray can. Not enough was refilled. The taste was better. So that's it for me. That was my last visit.

The food is great as always. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't keep up with the food on Saturday. The waitress was overwhelmed by the rush. Something that almost always works.

Very good restaurant with a huge buffet. We were there for the buffet in the evening on January 13, 2024. Good Merlot and espresso. Large selection at the buffet. Small selection of sushi. Everything was very tasty. Great selection of raw things that you could have prepared. I particularly liked the baby calamari and the shrimp. Very tasty preparation. Nice selection of desserts. Price-performance ratio is top. The service staff were all very friendly. Clear recommendation. We'd love to come back. 👍👍👍

Good Chinese buffet with a wide selection and Mongolian grill. The offer is not that extensive for vegetarians, but they could let off steam at the Mongolian grill. The service is friendly, the food is tasty and well kept warm, the shrimp dishes were my highlight! The prices are okay, see current list.

Sehr großes Büffet , Nachtisch ebenfalls . Das Essen müsste nur etwas wärmer sein . Klare Empfehlung, das Essen selber zusammenzustellen, und dann an der Küche fertigstellen lassen. Man bekommt es auch an den Tisch gebracht.

Netter Servis und eine gute Auswahl am Buffed. Auch der Mongolischegrill kann sich sehen lassen und bietet eine gute Auswahl an Fleisch, Fisch und Gemüse. Sind da fast immer einmal die Woche und lassen es uns schmecken.

Das Essen ist lecker-eine gute Auswahl. Leider kommt man sich (je nachdem wo man sitzt) wie in einer Bahnhofshalle vor. Es könnte gemütlicher sein. Die Kleidung richt später schrecklich nach Essen.

Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend in stimmungsvoller Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen schmeckt echt sehr gut, selbst mein Freund, der eher abgeneigt vom Buffet Essen ist, meinte, dass es sehr gut war. Es ist ruhig gelegen und man hört den Verkehr draußen nicht. Die Musik ist nicht zu laut, sodass man sich in Ruhe unterhalten kann und nicht lauter werden muss. Ich kann es nur empfehlen

Keine Ahnung von Gastronomie. Weihnachtsfeier dort gehabt mit 20 Personen, Essen ist gut aber auf Getränke musste man 30 Minuten warten. Service ziemlich unfreundlich. Gibt viele von diesen Restaurants ,da kann ich mir bessere aussuchen.

Essen völlig in Ordnung. Bedienung sehr nett. Toiletten Freitagabends 20 Uhr sehr sauber, trotz vollem Laden!

Super leckeres Essen,wir sind schon mehrfach zum Essen hier gewesen.

Im großen ganzen war es wirklich gut, das Essen war vom Geschmack her super. Das einzige worüber man Meckern könnte währe der Service. Das auffüllen der Gerichte am Buffet und das servieren der Getränke dauert etwas länger was wahrscheinlich dem Personalmangel geschuldet ist.....da sollte man bedenken.

Ein außergewöhnliches Buffet mit sehr grosser Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Alles lecker zubereitet. Große Auswahl auch an Nachtisch. Buffet wird laufend frisch aufgefüllt. Super freundlich die Service Kräfte. Hervorragend das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

Das essen am buffet war einigermaßen okay. Es gab keine besondere Auswahl. Anfangs war das Essen noch sehr kalt. Später wurde es dann immer warm nachgefüllt. Zudem waren die Frühlingsrollen sehr labrig und wirkten nicht mehr ganz frisch. Außerdem finde ich es ziemlich dreist, dass man ein Getränk dazu kaufen muss, da man ansonsten 1€ pro Person mehr bezahlen muss. Zudem sind die Preise von den Getränken ebenfalls eine bodenlose Frechheit. Wir haben uns für eine 0,2l Cola entschieden die für 3€ Aufpreis dazu zahlen mussten. Anschließend kam die Rechnung, bei der wir aus Höflichkeit Trinkgeld dazugeben wollten und wir auf 70€ gerundet haben. Als wir wieder zuhause ankamen, haben wir festgestellt, dass wir von der Kellnerin nur 25€ anstelle von den eigentlichen 30€ bekommen haben. Wirklich nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war ganz okay hätte aber besser sein können da bei den frisch zubereiteten Sachen vom grill die soße auf dem Tellern fehlte die soße war nur in den zutaten eingebraten.Das warme buffet war echt gut alles heiß und auch die zutaten schmeckten ganz gut.

Sehr großes Buffet, abends auch mit frischem Gemüse und Fleisch, welches man sich braten lassen kann. Das Buffet läßt keine Wünsche offen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich.

Wenn man hier etwas negatives sagen will, muss man schon lange suchen. Dieses Restaurant ist direkt am Rathausplatz gelegen, bietet erstklassiges Essen an. Speziell die Gerichte, welche erst für einen zubereitet werden, sind eine Erwähnung wert. Auch exotisches essen ist vorhanden, Känguru? Hai? Alles da. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Chef unterhält sich auf gleicher Ebene mit einem. Dieses Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen!!!

ACHTUNG ICH BEWERTE NUR DAS MITTAGS BUFFET Wenn der Begriff 08/15 zutrifft dann hierfür. Standart Auswahl, mittelmäßig heiß gehaltene Speisen, etwas dezente Musik.... Alles soweit in Ordnung. Aber halt auch nichts herausragendes. Freundliche Bedienung.

Nette Location in Remscheid für asiatische Küche an den deutschen Geschmack angepasst. Richtig Chinesisch essen ist schon anders. Große Auswahl, frisch zubereitet und freundlicher Service. Entweder Buffet oder à la carte.
