Chopan Kebab in Hamburg

I was there yesterday with my friend and ordered mante with kabab kubide, their mante was very runny, you couldn't eat it properly, it always fell off the fork and we had wayran for drinks, it was delicious but I wouldn't go out to eat with falimilie recommend.

It's really a great place for Afghans who are far away from their homeland. Very delicious Siros food and excellent service. When you're here, you feel like you're in your homeland.

Very good restaurant and very good food only in Chupan Kiab in Hamburg with successful service. Good luck always, God willing.

The battered kebab with rice was extremely delicious, the shepherd's kebab with rice was unique, the meat was completely soft and juicy, the muscle was completely cooked and delicious. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Thank you very much for your excellent service and kindness

Disappointing experience - Not recommended I recently visited Chupan Kabab at Hamburg Central Station, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The staff and waiters were unfriendly and lacked basic customer service skills, making the visit unpleasant from the start. The prices were significantly higher than other nearby restaurants, and the quality of service did not justify it at all. The only reason people seem to come here is the convenient location near the subway. If that weren't the case, few people would probably eat here. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

We always went to Choban Kebab restaurant, the service was good, but the service today was very, very bad. Brunch is too much It was greasy and it tasted raw. When I asked him to forget one drink, when I wanted to pay, he asked for two drinks. I told him to forget your work, and he looked at our table and saw that yes, I told him to forget. Your service has passed. It was better. It is not good now. He told me not to come to this restaurant again. Go to another restaurant.

Worst restaurant I've ever seen! Very unfriendly and disrespectful! The food didn't taste good at all and we saw that guests were treated disrespectfully and some were even thrown out because they only wanted to order dessert.

Bad food and bad staff. Tried to take black money and their device didn't work according to the guy sitting at the till but after I criticized and want to pay by card then I had to pay but he got mad. Careful he charges more than what is on the menu!!!!!!!

We come from Bielefeld and took a short trip to Hamburg. We were unsure about which restaurant to eat at, but we ultimately chose Chopan. I have to say, it was definitely worth it. The food was so delicious that we were very satisfied. We plan to go to Chopan again on our next visit to Hamburg. It is definitely recommended, even if the prices are a little higher. It's definitely worth it.

It was our first time to visit Hamburg and first time to visit this resturant. We took kobideh and Afghan Ice cream (Sheer yakh). It was tasty but the service was very poor. Staff were rude and charged me extra for the tap water when my kids asked me for water while we were leaving the resturant. Staff are very young and unexperienced. I notived they never welcome the guests and no smile in their face. Don't reccomend it.

The food was very good, the portions were large and overall well-being. We were greeted in a friendly manner by an older gentleman who also asked us whether the food was tasty. We found that pleasant. When we went to the checkout, a slightly younger man who barely spoke German and seemed annoyed came with a toothpick in his mouth. He didn't thank us for the 10% tip or say goodbye, he just moved his head to say that the bill had probably been paid. This moment quickly ruined the beautiful experience before. I found the behavior disrespectful. Therefore two stars deducted.

Worst service I've ever experienced.

I am originally from Afghanistan but their service is below average, the prices are too expensive. The bathroom is out of service and the one outside of the restaurant is dirty and their behavior is disrespectful.

The quality of food is very bad and the prices are very expensive.

There were 9 of us there, the food arrived on time and relatively warm, we couldn't order certain drinks on the memory card because they apparently no longer exist. Very cheap in price but not very high quality. If you want to eat rice you are in very good hands. Meat, yeah. Of 9 people, 3 were dissatisfied. Toilets definitely need to be renovated. Waiters were very nice.

We had to wait a long time for our food, even though it was during the week and the restaurant had few visitors. The food itself was good. The salad for 3 people but very little. A small plate for 3 people is a joke. The music was much too loud and was only reduced slightly at our request and turned loud again after 5 minutes. You couldn't have a proper conversation. The waiters were unfriendly and did not respond to the guest's wishes. We won't be coming back!

Wir waren gestern in diesem Restourant. Ich bin überglücklich dass ich von Nürnberg nach Hamburg gekommen war. Die Reis sind so fein und lecker, super gekocht und Kebab wie icht mochte. Ich empfehle jeden es. Wenn ihr nach Hamburg geht, besucht Chopan Kebab Restourant. Mitarbeiter sind voll nett und hilfsbereit und alle Essen sind sehr lecker. Das Eis ist ein Gedicht, die Bedienung super nett und die grüne scharfe Chutney Sauce der Knaller! Sehr gutes Essen, wir waren sehr froh, dass wir das Restaurant entdeckt hatten. Wir hatten das Hühnchen mit Zwiebeln und Joghurt in der Pfanne, das war unglaublich lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kabuli Pulao was far much better than Kabul Restaurant in Frankfurt

I have tried Qabli polu with lamb arm meat on Sunday evening, and it was nice. The service is good and staffs are friendly. To be honest, my expectations were low before going inside, but I am fully satisfied with food and service. I'd definitely back again for any vegetarian dish.

Lohnt sich nicht für so ein hohen Preis

Waren hier essen und leider eine pure Enttäuschung. Das Spießkebab war sehr zäh, konnte nur schwer gegessen werden. Die Portionengröße war in Ordnung. Es war sehr leer und Ambiente hat es nicht wirklich. Sehr karg und kahl, das Lokal. Einziger kleiner Pluspunkt ist wohl, dass man oben sitzen kann, aber mit Blick auf Steindamm gibt es auch nicht wirklich was zu sehen. Gehen nicht mehr hier essen. Schlechtes Afghanisches Essen.

Das Essen war sehr saftig und lecker. Sheryakh als Nachtisch war ebenso sehr sehr sehr lecker. Habe mir danach noch eins sheryakh bestellt, da es so lecker war. Weiter zu empfehlen.

War eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants aber das Restaurant hat leider stark nachgelassen. Das Essen schmeckt gut aber man wartet teilweise 45 min oder länger auf sein Essen, Bedienung ist unhöflich.

Afgan mutfağını çok uzun zamandır denemek istiyorduk. Hamburg’a uğramışken bu fırsatı değerlendirmek istedik. Konumu yabancıların çoğunluk olduğu bir lokasyonda ve merkez tren garına çok yakın. Biz aslında mantı için gitmiştik ama pilav tabaklarını da görünce dayanamadık bir porsiyon da etli ( kuzu incik) pilav söyledik. İkisi de lezzet ötesiydi. Mantının hamuru çok lezzetli üzerindeki mercimekler de çok uyumluydu. Pilavın baharat ve yağ dengesi tam kararında, incik de lokum gibiydi. Üzerine Afgan usulü dondurma ısmarladık, özel bir tarzda hazırlanıyor içerisinde baharat olan çok serinletici bir tatlı oldu. Bir kez daha denk gelirse mutlaka tekrar yerim. Atmosfer de çok samimi aile ortamı var. Etleri helal.
