An absolute dream! I've truly never eaten like this before. A visit for two in the evening without a reservation: three appetizers and two main courses. The taste was truly exceptional. All the dishes were incredibly delicious, super fresh, and homemade. We chose dumplings, pasta, and duck. They were so succulent and delicious that we'll definitely be back soon. The food and the presentation were also absolutely stunning. Thank you so much, and see you soon!

The food was delicious, the ambiance was pleasant, but the service was clearly overwhelmed that evening. The food didn't arrive for over an hour, and then only half of the ordered dishes arrived. The rest only came upon request. Reordering drinks was also only possible upon request.

The fried fish (pepper, salt, and chili carp) was a real delight for two people. A generous portion, with top-notch flavor. Very authentic Chinese, even with the hotplate. Just how it should be. The service was also very good. It was prepared very quickly, but no expense was spared on quality. Highly recommended!

Consistently delicious and, above all, authentic Chinese food. The service is always very friendly and attentive. The serving itself is typically Chinese: Everything is placed in the middle of the table as soon as it's ready, so if you've ordered a lot, they simply come one after the other.

There's no better Chinese restaurant in Leipzig. Sure, you sometimes have to be patient, but if I want a well-structured, perfectly timed experience, I'll eat a tram. Authenticity is still alive here. This family-run restaurant has been an absolute must-eat for me for years, and all my acquaintances and friends who visit me in Leipzig will eat here with me. It was incredibly delicious; we got a ton of food for such a reasonable price. I highly recommend the pickled cucumbers and pork belly. And I've been to China before...so it's truly authentic!

I arrived on a Tuesday night when 90% of the tables were empty indoor. I waited for 40 min and the only hot dish I ordered still had not served. It’s such a simple dish I can cook at home in 15min. Waiters passed me by dozens of times as if I don’t exist. Maybe you have something against solo traveler or Chinese customers but neither is acceptable.

At China's World, you can find not only classic Chinese cuisine, but also exciting specialties that are rarely found elsewhere. The variety on the menu is particularly impressive: From traditional dishes to more unusual dishes like "chicken feet," everything is there. My personal favorites: Appetizers: Beef and edamame salad – super fresh and full of flavor. Main courses: The pork belly is wonderfully tender, the spicy cauliflower is a real powerhouse, and the pointed cabbage rounds it all off perfectly. Every dish comes with rice, of course. Special tip: The carp – highly recommended, freshly prepared and served on a platter! And if you're about to burst after eating, the bamboo or rice liquor is a wonderful aid to digestion. A little ritual that rounds off the evening every time. If you love authentic Chinese cuisine, you should definitely stop by here!

Immer wieder fantastisch gegessen. Für mich das beste chinesische Restaurant in der Stadt und Umgebung. Die Produkte sind erstklassig und man schmeckt es. Der Service freundlich und angenehm zurückhaltend. Das Ambiente ist passend und ich komme mir jedesmal vor ein kurztrip in China gemacht zu haben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Eight of us went there for hotpot on Friday evening. Delicious food with a large selection of raw, fresh ingredients (in addition to seafood and meat, there was also plenty of tofu) for the hotpot, as well as some ready-made dishes. You can also find (or at least feel like) some authentic dishes that go beyond "sweet and sour duck." Many of the dishes are quite spicy, and there are no names or descriptions on the dishes, but everything is explained very nicely upon request. Fair price, as drinks are included. Clean restrooms, pleasant ambiance, and service. My only complaint is that our table was very large and high, which meant we sat far away from each other and the hotpots.

The food is quite authentic except one of the vegetable dish was so salty that you need to drink water to rinse your mouth after eating it. The service is non existent because there was only one waitress and one bartender to serve may be over 15 tables. We waited for almost an hour to start our first dish. Luckily most of our orders came soon after. We saw all the reviews about long waiting times and bad services, so we went there early. My review is consistent with others reviews.

You should avoid the restaurant on Saturday evening - we waited a full 1.5 hours for our food and basically had to get our drinks from the bar ourselves because the service and the kitchen were completely overwhelmed. And that even though we actually had a reservation for that evening. Food and ambience are okay.

The food was okay, but you need to wait about 2 hours to get it. The kitchen‘s capacity is not enough for the tables. It’s very poor managed.

Only two conditions were responsible for over 30 people. Unfortunately, one of them couldn't speak any German at all, so the second person always had to come in to communicate. We waited forever for our drinks until we got them ourselves. The food was varied and plentiful for all guests. Only by tasting sausages can you determine whether the food is spicy or not, due to the lack of knowledge of the condition. Interior typically Asian.

A recommended Chinese restaurant with delicious, very varied dishes. We were there with a large team (45 people) and had the "best of" as our menu. Food preferences and allergies were taken into account. The price-performance ratio is very good and we felt very comfortable.

Very tasty traditional cuisine. You won't find the usual aftertaste of glutamate in other Asian restaurants here. Definitely on the list next time you visit Leipzig. Price-performance fits.

For fans of authentic Australian cuisine. Far from Peking soup and sweet and sour duck, you can enjoy authentic Chinese dishes here. The many Chinese guests speak for themselves. It is important to order typically Chinese, i.e. ordering for the table and not everyone for themselves. This is how you really enjoy it and everyone can taste each plate. Many dishes are designed this way and are sometimes simply too big for one person. We always like to come.

⭐ A culinary revelation! ⭐ We were at Chinas Welt four evenings in a row during a business trip and each time we were warmly and excellently welcomed and served by Jojo and “Dame”. The authentic cuisine stands out clearly from the usual buffet culture - there are real taste experiences here! One evening we completely relied on the boss's recommendations and had an incredible menu with first-class cuisine. Every course was a highlight! Thank you for this exceptional hospitality and fantastic food. We'll definitely be back!

Despite the attack of around 12 people, the staff managed to make all guests happy in a timely manner. Respect for those who keep track, especially since everyone ordered something different.

China's world completely amazed me! I tried the duck and all I can say is: a dream! It was incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned and simply the best I've ever tasted. The entire experience was unbeatable - from the friendly and attentive service to the authentic ambience that transports you straight to Asia. I've been to many Asian restaurants, but none come close to China's world! If you are looking for first-class Asian food, you should definitely stop by here. Clear 5 stars and my warmest recommendation!

The store itself was very chic and clean. The food, however, was nothing special. You don't have to go. Sorry but unfortunately it's not worth the money. We had food of all spiciness levels and everything except the one with 3 chilli was not spicy and tasteless. I would have loved to put pepper, salt and chilli on everything again. And I hardly eat anything spicy and therefore can't tolerate it. But the food was very Germanized. Not suitable for “culinary”. Too bad Please improve this... Just cook like you would at home and don't save money in the wrong places. Service was okay, unfortunately the shop closed at 10, which was a shame on Saturdays too. But you were still allowed to sit until 11, which was okay.

I absolutely cannot understand the negative comments. It tastes exceptionally good, whether ordered or made on the spot. Plus the portions are huge. An oasis in the culinary desert of Leipzig. Wow.

Is my favorite restaurant in Leipzig. The ribs are the clear favorite and the service is very accommodating. I don't know any Chinese place where it tastes so good.

Das Restaurant und die Bedienung dieses Restaurant waren nicht nur sehr gut, sondern sehr authentisch, wenn man das Essen aus Shanghai mag (was bei mir der Fall ist). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt 100%ig. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

So the food was super tasty, I can recommend it. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't come back to ask for drinks and our plates were probably still on the table for another 30 minutes. The son (I think) was lying with his head on the counter. The play area for the children also leaves a lot to be desired. Totally dirty and also broken, very careless. The toilets were also really bad. The cleaning supplies were under the sink and everything was very dusty. The dirty decorative flowers didn't help either. The courtyard is very nice and covered.

Cozy establishment. The atmosphere is pleasant, there are many moons, there are many Chinese in the place, it shows that the place has delicious food. Everything will be great. But I ordered shrimp with vegetables and peanuts, and there was basically one peanut.

Up until a few years ago, I really enjoyed eating here, but unfortunately the restaurant has completely declined. The food is still very good, but the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The toilets are extremely dirty and everything in the restaurant itself now seems quite dingy and careless. We couldn't pay by card and there wasn't an invoice either. Very unfortunate.

Basically a restaurant that I like to visit or that I order from now and then. The fried eggplants are always included when I order. But I fell out of my chair today when I saw the price. First of all, I should say that I completely understand why prices have had to rise in recent years. This dish cost 6.80 euros three years ago. Today it is 12.40 euros. That's almost a 100% increase. That's where my understanding ends. Completely exaggerated.

Wow! If you want to eat real Chinese food just like how it taste in China! Then you got to try this restaurant! The food are authentic delicious real! Chinese food totally recommend it!!! 👍

I ordered food here and I have to say I was incredibly impressed. I have never in my life eaten eggplant prepared this way and with such a perfect texture. The dish with the cabbage, which partly tasted like homemade kimchi, together with super tender tofu was also on point, the sauces had an incredible amount of flavor. I can't say anything about the atmosphere there, but the food was really prepared with love and very fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions are also very generous, I was able to eat it for two days and will definitely order/visit again.

We were at Chinas Welt on a Saturday evening and were really craving authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, unless, like us, you are assigned a table in the next room (in front of the stairs to the toilet and next to the kitchen). The staff was totally overwhelmed and was difficult to reach for further orders of drinks (1 service for about 40 people….) You can find the usual classics of Chinese cuisine on the menu. We had dim sum with shrimp as a starter. They tasted musty, like old shrimp. The kimchi (pao cai) was not eaten. Completely over salted, no typical ferment taste, just bad! Cold chicken in spicy sauce tasted good. Three delicacies of the earth were inedible...totally soggy, lots of oil, no enjoyment. We returned the dish!! Spicy beef in broth with Sichuan pepper was ok, but I've had better. Finally, the condition of the toilets: dirty and it smells unpleasant We will not come here again and cannot recommend the restaurant to anyone!!!

Authentic Chinese cuisine… always an experience

We have been here three times now and have always eaten very well. There is a parking garage around the corner where you can park for free for 2 hours if you eat in the restaurant. But be careful: the parking garage is only open until 9 p.m. On our last visit at the weekend we had to wait a little longer for the food and were in the restaurant until after 9 p.m. Unfortunately, our car was locked in the parking garage. The restaurant took responsibility for this in an exemplary manner and gave us a discount. We were able to pick up the car the following day.

and one star is still too many! Any food at the train station is better. When I ordered I was told that the order I wanted didn't taste good! I then gratefully returned my other choice because it simply tasted terrible. We don't need to talk any further about the overwhelmed service... simply bad!!

We can't really share the positive entries. The atmosphere is not really inviting. The service staff has reserves in terms of friendliness and know-how. You're not used to that in a Chinese restaurant. The menu may be designed to be very appetizing, but unfortunately the reality is little. The chosen starters and the chosen main course (crispy fried duck looks and tastes different) were definitely not worth the money. Unfortunately, tasty starter soups are also missing! The selection of drinks is also somewhat thinned out due to the lack of black beer and latte maciato, although they are still advertised. The icing on the cake was that the food was “delivered” and “transported away” on company canteen-like serving trolleys! NO GO! Food that was not eaten and could therefore be taken away... ..... at the table!! transferred into take-away containers. So what is that? Summary: Recommendations are more or less limited, but this is a subjective assessment.

Super Adresse für chinesische Küche. Chinas Welt ist neben dem Zhang eines der wenigen empfehlenswerten chinesischen Restaurants mit authentischer Küche. Gute Speisenauswahl, auch einiges an vegetarisch und veganen Gerichten, das ist besonders hervorzuheben. So lässt sich dann auch besonders in einer größeren Runde gut zusammen essen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung, wenn Mensch an authentischer Küche interessiert ist.

Chinese Restaurant mit echtem Chinesem Gerichten. Wenn man auf der suche von traditionellem Essen ist, dann dass richtige Ort ist. Definitiv kein Vietnamese fakes.

Silvesteressen war traditionell hervorragend mit sämtlichen Variationen der chinesischen Küche - sogar mit Obstgruß aus der Küche. Das Tsingtao war bestens gekühlt. Zum Abschluss gabs noch ne runde chinesischen Schnaps aufs Haus zur Abrundung des Abends. In diesem Sinne, ein gesundes neues Tsingtao.

The food is quite good here, especially the vegetarian options. I've been there a few times now and the only thing that's a bit disappointing is that they never seem to have dumplings when I go. This is the closest thing to Chinese food I've eaten so far in Germany. One warning: they started fairly recently having a "chinesches Frühstück" on Sundays, which I was expecting to be like dim sum as I've had in the past in other cities that have great selection for Chinese restaurants. However, what they offer here is NOT dim sum, but rather just a regular buffet with some good dishes but mostly not so great. And it's absolutely not worth the money - way too overpriced for what you get. My recommendation is to come for dinner or lunch and order off the menu, you'll get better quality food and selection for the price. Update December 2023: they've changed the menu a bit in the last couple of years or so, but food is still fantastic. This place and Zhang are our go-to authentic Chinese food restaurants in Leipzig.

Ich war mit meiner Frau zu Weihnachten da . Die Atmosphäre beim rein kommen war schon richtig toll super gemütlich eingerichtet und groß. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas tolles und reichhaltiges. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und sind große Portionen, der Geschmack ist unbeschreiblich toll und der Wahnsinn. Kann es nur für jeden empfehlen ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall .

Es ist schwer vorstellbar, warum Gerichte eine Stunde lang kochen müssen. Der Geschmack ist total boring. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis schlecht.

Musik: ist ständig abgebrochen bzw. Konnte man die wa Benachrichtigung hören Essen: hab schon bessere dumplings gegessen, im allgemeinen sehr fleischlastig, 3,5/5 ... Die präsentation war leider sehr schwach kA Service: wir konnten uns über nunmern mit der servicekraft verständigen, wenn was flasch angekommen ist musste das auch trinken :D wir hatten natürlich zuviel bestellt und wollten etwas mitnehmen. Kellner kommt zu tisch und rührt alle teller zusammen in eine Box, die Hälfte fällt auf den tisch...vor den gästen.. entspricht eigentlich nicht der klasse die das Restaurant eigentlich will - meh Fazit: wild

Das beste Chinarestaurant der Stadt. Authentische Regionalküche in super Ambiente zu bezahlbaren Preisen.

Richtig leckeres Essen. Nur die legendären Rippchen gibt es leider nicht mehr auf der Karte.

Einrichtung ist ein bisschen steril, nicht so wie man es sonst von China Reataurants kennt. Essen ist top. Service könnte etwas besser sein. Drei Personen hatten bereits ihr essen. Die 4. hat ihres erst bekommen als die anderen bereits fast fertig waren. Ist aber jammern auf hohen Niveau. War auch viel los und sie haben sich auch dafür entschuldigt. Aber alles nette Leute. Kommen gerne mal wieder vorbei.

Chinas Welt ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Der Service ist freundlich und geht auf Gästewünsche ein, allerdings manchmal auch etwas langsam. Lediglich die Toiletten könnten noch sauberer sein. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hier essen wenn wir in Leipzig sind.

Dieses Restaurant ist hervorragend und man kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Das Essen ist authentisch.Die Portionen sind reichlich. Wenn ich noch einmal in Leipzig bin werde ich dieses Restaurant wieder besuchen.

周末和朋友在这聚餐，因为人数比较多预先订了位和餐点，告知老板我们几点到几点开饭。结果最后还是比原本预计的等了一个多小时才上饭。但最让我们生气的，还是之后餐厅服务生的态度。是一个中年的女服务生，他们晚上菜一句道歉也没说就算了，我们请她上菜后帮我们上白饭，她先很不耐烦的说马上来，之后却一直没上，我们再问一次，她竟然直接很明显的在我们面前翻白眼，表示出她的不耐烦，然后才端上白饭。之后上菜，她从我朋友后面上，明明我朋友已经让开位子让她把菜放上餐桌，她却停下来对我朋友说：［你不会接吗？是不想吃饭吗？］我真的从来没有碰过服务态度那么差的服务生！！帮忙放个菜是完全没有问题的，但是可以礼貌的问吧！当下真的完全没有心情吃饭了，也绝对不会再来这家店。如果有人不怕服务差的话，这边食物对于莱比锡中餐来说尚可，但偏油偏咸，当天除了茄子还不错外，其他的皆普通。个人是觉得，就算再怎么好吃，用这样没有礼貌的员工，这就是一间不合格的餐厅。两颗星一颗给菜的口味，一颗给小老板还算好的态度。

我們點了8道菜，只有幾道好吃，味道偏鹹。唯一好吃的是風味茄子🍆員工在門口抽菸，坐在靠門邊的位子有濃濃的煙味飄進來🚬吃飯還要聞煙味很不舒服。價格不算高，裡面裝潢不錯，位子也夠多，但我不會想去第二次🤔️

authentisches chinesisches Essen… !! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Man muss etwas Zeit mitbringen. Das kann nerven, besonders mit kleinen Kindern am Tisch. ABER, das Essen ist es definitiv wert. Authentisch und immer wieder lecker. Das Restaurant wird von einer Familie geführt. Hier kocht Mutti noch selbst. Seit der Chinabrenner geschlossen ist, für uns die Nummer 1 in Leipzig.

Ich hab in Leipzig studiert und bin jetzt schon seit über zwei Jahren wieder zurück in China. Aber ich vermisse dieses Restaurant immer noch sehr oft, weil der Besitzer und die Kellner total nett sind, das Essen mega lecker ist und die Preise für jeden bezahlbar sind. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen, hier mal zu essen!

Unfreundliche Bedienung, Essen lässt zu wünschen übrig, nur mäßig heiß, keine Warmhalteplatte. Das Schwein süß-sauer bestand hauptsächlich aus Panade. Nach dem Essen habe ich nach einem Verdauungsschnaps gefragt, daraufhin wurde mir erklärt, dass der Schnaps alle wäre. Nur ein Ramazzotti sei noch da, aber leider nur ohne Eis, das wäre auch aus. Zur Klarstellung: meine Frau und ich waren vollkommen nüchtern. Unser Fazit: wir haben schon sehr häufig in asiatischen Restaurants gegessen, dieses ist aber mit großem Abstand das schlechteste!
