Typical Chinese restaurant, friendly service, but we had to wait quite a while for our food even though it wasn't very busy. The food itself was very tasty, though. The restaurant is barely noticeable from the outside; you have to go up to the first floor of the building, and then it's easy to find.

Excellent Chinese restaurant! We loved every dish: the egg broth, the appetizer, the main courses with chicken and duck, the rice, and the fried noodles. But keep in mind that all the dishes are greasy, especially the duck and fried noodles. The prices are excellent, and so is the service. The buffet is only open Wednesday through Friday! We'll definitely be back.

We had two lunch dishes, which were really good. We were particularly impressed by the owner, who was always up for a joke, and his wife, who served us very nicely. For a quick lunch at fair prices, definitely a good choice! We'll be back...

Today was my first time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I have to say that my visit was anything but positive. There were several things I personally didn't like at all. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the strong odor in the room. It smelled extremely strongly of old, greasy food. Apparently, they don't ventilate the place regularly, which immediately creates an unpleasant atmosphere. The buffet didn't seem fresh either. The food looked as if it had been reheated several times. There was no question of it being freshly prepared. Nevertheless, I thought to myself: "Give them a chance and try it." Unfortunately, I was also disappointed with the taste. The food not only looked as if it had been sitting out for several days, it also tasted exactly like it. The duck was particularly negative: It wasn't cooked properly, and in some places it was even cold. It seemed as if the food had simply been heated in a microwave. You can simply taste the difference between freshly cooked food and food that's been reheated several times, and here it was definitely the latter. The service, while friendly, was unfortunately also a point of criticism. Firstly, I wasn't served what I ordered. Secondly, there were difficulties in communication, as the staff's German was very limited. While they repeatedly said "Ja, richtig," the requested food never arrived. In the end, the employee who served us even wanted to give himself a 5-euro tip. I clearly told him he wouldn't get one; I've never experienced anything like that before. And the worst part: When I left the restaurant, my clothes smelled so strongly of grease and food that I had to take them off immediately at home and put them straight into the washing machine. On top of that, I got severe stomach problems after eating and had to go home immediately. I spent 44 minutes in the bathroom—an absolute nightmare. However, I would also like to highlight something positive: I observed a young employee who performed her duties in an exemplary manner. She showed excellent understanding of my concerns and those of my colleagues. Her commitment and attentiveness were truly remarkable and made a positive impression on me. Overall, however, my visit was a huge disappointment. Neither the atmosphere nor the quality nor the service were convincing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. In my opinion, anyone who eats here is just wasting time and money, and even risking health problems.

Delicious food and super friendly staff 😀; you're always greeted and served with a smile. At the buffet, you sometimes have to wait for something to be refilled, but the restaurant can't do anything about guests who overindulge. And the food is always freshly prepared. From Wednesday every day good buffet, great value for money

My family and I used to eat here when I was a little boy; now I often bring my children and wife with me. It's how time flies :) This restaurant has been my work colleague and my regular haunt for some time now. We usually come here for the lunch buffet. In short: top-notch. Top-notch food, top-notch service, and the price-performance ratio is unparalleled in Pforzheim. Regarding the occasional review that allegedly suggests poor service or unfriendliness. I think everyone has bad days, that's for sure. I can only say that we always have the impression that the motto here is: what goes around comes around. And that's a good thing! Unfortunately, I keep hearing guests who I also perceive as rude and extremely demanding. And that doesn't get you very far here and you get a lot of backlash. Not recommended. I couldn't eat the fried noodles with breaded chicken in peanut sauce. The noodles were dry and tasted of old, rancid fat. The peanut sauce was far too thick and not suitable as a sauce.

I went to eat at this restaurant with my family for my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised. The selection of food and the taste were truly unbeatable for the price. At the end, I received a small "Happy Birthday" mug and a Chinese beer as a small gift. It's the little things that make a difference, and I'll definitely come back for the value alone. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is typically Chinese and invites you to stay a little longer. Keep it up, and this is exactly what good service should look like.

Very Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended I'm sorry to say that my visit to Fung Wong today was extremely disappointing. We ate there just a few minutes ago, and I feel compelled to leave a review. We were already seated, and two of my colleagues had already ordered. When it was my turn, I politely asked the staff member for a recommendation on their best-sellers. Her response was dismissive and unprofessional – she simply said, "Anything is fine," and added that if we weren't satisfied, we could just go downstairs for doner kebab. I found this attitude very rude and inappropriate, especially since I work in the restaurant industry myself. The sweet and sour pork I ordered was the worst I've ever had in any restaurant – whether in Europe or Asia. The dish was simply sweet, bland, and lacked any balanced flavors. The pieces of meat were tiny, mostly thick batter, deep-fried, and tasteless. It was obvious that no care had been taken in the preparation. What made things even more frustrating: As an Asian, I had hoped to feel at least a little welcome or understood – instead, I was treated with condescension and a bad mood. Had I known this beforehand, I would have left immediately. Unfortunately, I only stayed because I was very tired and hungry from walking all day. This was actually my first dinner of the trip – and unfortunately, it was a truly terrible experience. I run a restaurant myself in my home country and would never allow any of my employees to treat guests like this – whether local or foreign. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. 😡

The food was great for what we paid. I muss say that the man in charge of serving customers, in an attempt to be funny and open, made some very odd comments and behaved a bit sexist. Although it may be a cultural misunderstanding, it's not right. Other than that, everything was fine.

The spice of the buffet was probably changed somewhat sensitively in terms of spiciness, which was at least toned down on that day. Maybe the taste in general could change a little. But the fruit salad they prepare there. The water that Chinese people make does not taste overly sweet and unpleasant like the canned water. I appreciate and feel your variety and independent preparation. Also that the Chinese can't or don't always want to prepare food with care. Thank you with love for every buffet you eat every day and you will get it back. Supports the chef and all employees in the delicious and loving preparation. An einigen Tagen Abendbuffet. Viel Verschiedenes Suppen. Vorspeisen, diverse Hauptgerichte und 3 oder unterschiedliche Desserts sind dort normal. Sehr freundlicher Service, angenehmes Ambiente und preislich gut. Auch Kinder sind gern gesehen. Wir kommen oft hierher. Es gefällt uns.

At first I had a strange feeling, but I was wrong! It's just great there, since I can't walk properly it's a good thing that there's an elevator that takes you right in front of/to the restaurant! You can take as much as you want from the buffet and as often as you want if you choose the form of payment there, without being looked at with a askance and thinking you're not getting enough! The innkeeper is a very nice person and also had casual sayings that you don't know about someone...I'm going to say...Chinese...Me and my family are coming back and bringing a few family members with us... thank you says.
