Can I recommend this restaurant with Asian cuisine (Vietnam, Thailand, Japan)? Nope! It all depends on what you expect from a visit to this diner. Dong can hardly be called a classic restaurant with the usual waiters, although you can also order table service. But the atmosphere of a romantic dinner does not arise here either, because a full visitor hall, a rather loud atmosphere and tables close together invite you to have lunch in the canteen! Nevertheless, my family and I like to visit "Dong" for small family celebrations. Why? It's very simple: very tasty! Really great cuisine and a varied selection of dishes! Maybe even for discerning gourmets! Frog legs, crocodile meat or tuna, cooked to perfection and with the sauce to your taste! Yes, the choice is free because the concept is based on customer self-service and correspondingly low prices, especially at lunchtime. It's actually very cheap! Delicious, very tasty soups from Asian cuisine. I've been to different restaurants and traditionally I order soup. So, in the "Dong" they are the tastiest, even the wonderful snack bars in Munich and Düsseldorf can't keep up with our "Dong"! Convenient free parking, clean toilet and fast service (wine, beer, drinks)! You can choose fresh (or frozen) seafood, fish, meat and vegetables and order them for preparation directly here. However, you have to wait a bit, it takes about 30 minutes! I recommend, especially on weekends, to reserve a table by phone in advance, otherwise you have to wait a long time for a free table. Overall, my family and I feel very comfortable here! But for a romantic dinner in a luxurious atmosphere, with attentive, courteous staff and soft jazz, we visit another restaurant!

Very large restaurant that is fully designed for mass catering - there is only a buffet. The staff is friendly and seems relaxed even given the weekend rush. The food isn't really tasty, average at best. Lots of frozen goods and here too, designed for mass. The life cooking is quite nice but here too the taste was disappointing It's almost an experience to eat here and watch the hustle and bustle of people. What I think is good is that if the plate is not eaten empty, 5 EURO is due. Conclusion: You can do it, but it doesn't have to be

The price is really very friendly, especially at a time when a burger menu costs over ten euros. It is an excellent choice to go with family. The choice of food is very diverse: sushi, Asian wok dishes, fruit, ice cream and Japanese teppanyaki. I was particularly impressed by the fried pasta dish, which tastes incredibly good. The staff are always warm and friendly. You get a lot of support when you need it. My favorite drink is lychee water - simply refreshing and delicious!

We were there for the first time. It was very busy, we ordered from the menu. The buffet was very rich and looked very good and tasty. Next time we go we'll eat from the buffet. It's a bit noisy but the food is really good, we can definitely recommend it.

Noisy like at the train station, the buffet is much too expensive, I know the Asian restaurant from Rastatt where the buffet is huge in comparison and includes drinks as much as you can drink and as often and for 29 euros, here in Pforzheim You get less and just one drink and it costs 29 euros. Super delicious food, very friendly service and very clean.

It has a good variety of fresh food. Its 24 Euro without drinks, so it is quite expensive as there are other places where you get drinks included for 30 or without drinks for 18 Euro. Parking can be difficult, so you have to park near the Saturn. Can be very crowded and loud.

The food from the buffet is well stocked, everyone can find something to their taste here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I like to come here to eat fish.

Large all-you-can-eat offer for €24.90. On weekends it is usually completely full and the noise level is correspondingly high. Of course, with the large selection, not everything is homemade; the dessert buffet in particular consists mainly of thawed sweet pieces. Then it's better to hold fresh fruit under the chocolate fountain :) Unfortunately, the finished dishes were only lukewarm when we visited. All in all, still 4 stars.

Delicious food and good service. The food was fresh and there was a bit of everything. The price is fair and the quality is good on everything except the deserts. These are cheap store-bought items as usual, but there is a chocolate fountain. Fish and meat were very good. There were some specialties, all of which were refilled if necessary. Drinks are ordered but arrive immediately. Coffee is available for €1. Overall satisfied and full :)

A restaurant I've wanted to try for a long time and was not disappointed! Super delicious food with lots of options as a vegan. What would be the cherry on the cake would be at least a vegan dessert in the form of a pastry or chocolate fountain with dark chocolate. Otherwise great😊

People, if you don't like this restaurant you should go to jail!!!! The food was sooooooo good🤤🤤 Fresh, crunchy vegetables and a large selection of exotic meat (crocodile etc.) The interior design and the set clean tables are also a big plus😍😍 I have nothing negative to say, since I'm also Chinese it's really great to eat real Chinese food not like the Panda restaurant🤮 it's all just chemicals and no real Chinese cuisine, it says Chinese for bälenghungel🫨 anyone who takes panda over Asia dong belongs in jail😤 Will definitely come back👍👍

An Asian all you can eat restaurant with a little more choice than usual in such restaurants. Prices are okay and the staff is very friendly. I find the ambience with the white tiles to be a bit sterile. Still, all in all 5/5 for the Asiadong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was there for the first time. Will definitely come back. After a warm welcome, I was able to enjoy a very well presented lunch buffet. Fine food from starter to dessert. The only thing that's a bit of a shame is the very practical atmosphere.

As a family of 6, we ate lunch at the All-you-can Eat. Many containers were already empty when we arrived and were deliberately not refilled because “it's almost lunch time!” It was 1:45 p.m.!! The online opening times are not correct!! But we paid the full price of €24.90 (per adult)! The staff seemed very annoyed and asked half an hour before closing time if we would like anything else from the buffet, as it was now being cleared away. This was then done loudly, which was very unpleasant. The food is okay, the selection is also quite okay. The prices are exorbitantly exaggerated. We were there last time.

Unfortunately I have to give a very negative review for the restaurant. The food is amazing and that's why we were regulars there! We were here 1-2 times a week and in most cases we brought friends with us. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Thanks to our recommendation, more than 30 new customers came to the restaurant. As a thank you we get THIS! We have a 5 year old daughter who is a really bad eater and also appears to be a petite child. Nevertheless, we regularly charge €14.90 for the buffet for children aged 5 and over. Today we came to the restaurant again as a small group and since our daughter doesn't want to eat much, we asked if we could pay for the small children's buffet for her for €6! The waitress said she had to ask the boss. I told her that we were regular guests and that it was really not ok to charge full price every time for the little one. After speaking to her boss, the waitress told us that we had to pay the full €14.90. We then said thank you and left without eating. Sincerely

So we had dinner here today. The ambience is really very nice. But that was it for the positive impressions. The selection is poor and what's worse is that the buffet isn't filled in a timely manner. Everything is empty and you are expected to be filled with rice and noodles. What's more, the food was burnt during live cooking. Terrible experience and never here again!

Sehr leckeres unlimited essen und sehr freundlich Personal. Mein einziges Problem war dass das Restaurant auf 1. Obergeschoss war und da kein Aufzug war. Ich kam mit meinem 6 Monaten Sohn mit Kinderwagen und der Kinderwagen musste nach oben getragen werden. Ein Mitarbeiter von den Restaurant hat mich aber geholfen den Kinderwagen zu tragen. Also, sonst war alles problemlos.

Essen war unglaublich schlecht. Beim Menue 6 war50% vom Fleisch flexig,Knorbelig. = Abfallfleisch. Das Essen wurde mit rohem Gemüse serviert. Paprika und Zwiebel waren roh. Suppe schmeckte wie Zuckerwasser.

Man muss sich auf das Ambiente einstellen. Wie in China sehr großer Raum, viele Gäste, gemütlich finde ich es nicht. Tolles Angebot am Abendbuffet mit exotischem Fleisch, das frisch für jeden Einzelnen zubereitet wird. Dumplings und frittierte Garnelen sind sehr lecker und Algensalat gab es auch. Auf das Abräumen der Teller mussten wir teils länger warten. Ansonsten ist es für mich durchaus nochmals zur besuchen, aber nichts für jede Woche.

Waren an Weihnachten zum 3. mal dort und bereue kein einziges mal davon. Das Buffet ist einfach mega ausgefallen und vorallem kann man halt einfach viel "neues" das man evtl. sonst nicht bestellt probieren. Das Fleisch war etwas zäh an dem Abend (schätze mal der Stress) aber ist nicht schlimm, der Rest war sehr lecker. Personal ist immer freundlich gewesen bis jetzt und auch trotz großem Antrang schnell hinterher gekommen mit abräumen etc. Alles in einem, der Laden lohnt sich einfach!👍

Sehr schön eingerichtet wenn großer Besucherandrang ist wird es sehr laut. Wenn man bei den Fenstern einen Platz Hat sind es weite Wege . Im grossen und ganzen Preis Leistung zählt. Großes reichhaltiges Buffet alles frisch zubereitet. Fazit ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall.

Total überfüllt, dementsprechend laut, für einen angenehmen Restaurantbesuch nicht zu empfehlen. Das angebotene Essen am Buffet ist fettig, enthält viel zu viel Zucker und Geschmacksverstärker. Alles schmeckt irgendwie gleich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Big variety of sea food. I was eating for the first time the meat of kangaroo, crocodile, frog legs. Not so tasty deserts, except of ice cream. Recommend to go on empty stomach. Drinks are not included, the prices for them as in regular restaurants.

Gutes abwechslungsreiches Buffet

Ich war in der letzten Zeit des öfteren im AsiaDongGourmet und war jedes mal sehr zufrieden. Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt, dass Personal ist trotz eines vollem Restaurant immer freundlich und auf Zack in Sachen, wie Bestellungen aufnehmen, Buffet nachfüllen und Geschirr abräumen. Ich rate nur Jedem, reserviert immer einen Tisch, da es immer sehr voll war und wer nicht reserviert hat, eine ganze Weile vor der Tür warten musste.

Eigentlich alles perfekt. Ambiente super, Essen auch gut. Service super. Vorallem teilweise bei dem Stress der Kellnerin.

Super Essen Auswahl. Auf Wunsch auch frisch zubereitet. Sehr beliebt, gut besucht. Einen Tisch vorher zu bestellen ist eine gute Idee. Sehr gut geeignet für Familienfeiern mit Kindern. Das Buffet ist einfach super.

Klassisches asiatisches Buffetrestaurant. Gute Auswahl, schön sortiert. Teilweise stark europäisiert und mit Produkten wie Tomate-Mozzarella, Pommes, etc. für die hiesigen Gaumen präsentiert. Aber jeder findet was, selbst mit vegan ernährenden kann man dort am Buffet satt werden.
