Really awful, please don't go here. We ordered from Lieferando and I have to say that I have never tasted something so horrible in my life.

Poor quality and lack of cleanliness – unfortunately, not recommended. The three of us went to Chinatown for lunch today and we all agree: the food was consistently very bad. We're not at all picky, but we've rarely experienced such poor quality. The problems in detail: Food: The spring rolls were far too dry/over-fried, the sweet and sour sauce watery. The peanut sauce had the consistency of baby food and was tasteless. The rice was completely overcooked (and we know that Chinese rice is usually sticky!). Underneath the supposedly crispy duck was crunchy vegetables swimming in soy sauce. Everything tasted equally bland. Drinks: The non-alcoholic beer tasted undrinkable/expired. Cleanliness: There's a lot to be desired here. The sauce, salt, and pepper shakers on the table were sticky and dusty. The windowsill was covered in dust, cobwebs, and dead mosquitoes. Service & Atmosphere: The service was friendly but overwhelmed. The main course was served while we were still eating our appetizer. Our complaint was received politely and with concern, but the staff seemed helpless and offered no solution. Conclusion: Due to the numerous technical flaws and the lack of hygiene, this place is unfortunately not recommended at all. What a shame! It used to be a very good restaurant!

I just ordered food, and the food was awful, they forgot the sauces! So I wouldn't want to order from there again, hence zero stars for me.

It used to be a good Chinese delivery service. Now the portions are much smaller. The price, however, is far too high for the size of the portion and the quality. The food used to arrive hot, but not anymore. The duck was overcooked and therefore dry. This was my last order from them.

I ordered from Lieferando. My usual Asian takeout place was still closed. The driver came with a pen in his hand and wanted something from me. I thought he wanted me to sign something. I did, and then he just left with my food, and I don't know what he wanted from me. So I won't be ordering from here again. Maybe that was for the best, after reading the reviews here.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you get the feeling that the decor hasn't been cleaned in decades, which unfortunately includes cleaning. The carpet is wavy, worn, and ripped. The chairs are sticky and shiny with grease, and dried sauce is on the placemats and dishes. The owner was super friendly and accommodating, and the food tasted OK, but nothing that would make me go back again.

This is our second time ordering from there – and unfortunately, we had another bad experience. The food was very greasy and tasteless. The delivery person was unfriendly for the second time. What was particularly strange was that, even though we had paid online with a credit card, he repeatedly demanded additional money. He wasn't friendly, he was totally pushy... Only when I raised my voice, pointing out that the payment had already been made, did he hand us the food and even demand a signature. He said he always does this. It seems unprofessional and leaves a very unpleasant feeling. This was definitely our last order.

We were there at lunchtime... we were the only customers... the hair on the table wasn't exactly clean... the waitress asked us several times if we had chosen something... the spring roll was very greasy and musty... the drink was warm... the main course, however, was very tasty.

We (two people) wanted to go out to dinner on a Sunday evening around 6:30 p.m. When we entered the dining room, we were the only customers. The lighting was very dim, so we asked if the place was even open. After we said yes, we wanted to choose a seat. But after looking around, we left immediately. It smelled of smoke, the placemats were faded, and the teapot warmers looked dirty. Overall, we didn't have a good feeling. It makes you wonder: how hygiene is in the kitchen if the dining room already looks so dingy? Are there even fresh ingredients? NO THANKS!

It was terrible! There were three of us in the restaurant that evening. We were the only guests, and the lighting was dim, there was no music, and everything seemed very cold. The windowsills were completely dusty. There weren't just dead flies lying around, but flies and other insects were constantly flying around. The door was open the whole time. This led to noise and more insects, right on the main road. It was so uncomfortable in that restaurant. The tablecloth was dirty, the cutlery was dirty, and the plates were old. The food was horrible. We were really disgusted because the wide noodles were sticking together. The fried noodles didn't look appetizing at all. We suspect that the noodles are boiled once a week and then just fried in a pan. That might be okay with spaghetti, but these wide noodles are so sticky. And the rice is heated in a microwave. Some of the grains were hard from being heated in the microwave. There was a black hair from the chef under the noodles. The glasses weren't really clean, and they only served lemonade from the discount store, even though the menu says Coke, Fanta, and Sprite. The restrooms are very cold and extremely poorly maintained. There's no light in the hallway to the restroom. I'm only giving this place two stars because the waitress is very sweet and nice, even if she doesn't speak German very well. We won't be going here again and can understand all the negative reviews.

I once ordered chicken chop suey, eight mini spring rolls, and chicken soup with asparagus and mushrooms from Lieferando, and unfortunately, the food was inedible due to the oil. The soup was 50% oil, so my mouth was completely oily after just one spoonful. Some of the chicken was gristly and some of the dried mushrooms, which had apparently been "cooked" in the soup, were rubbery. Unfortunately I had to throw the whole thing away. What's more, one third of the soup had spilled out of the container (the outside of the container was full of soup). The spring rolls were delivered as soft as bread. The sauce for the chop suey was generally deliciously seasoned but unfortunately very oily. There were also two pieces of slimy chicken skin in the chop suey. The chicken was generally cooked through though. The positive things were the noodles, which were quite tasty, and the friendly older gentleman who delivered them to me. There is definitely room for improvement. What a waste of money.

Disaster: Everything was covered in dust, the tablecloth was dirty, the warming trays were encrusted and greasy, the soy sauce and the rest of the condiments had definitely seen better days, everything was dirty and sticky... I received a dirty plate and dirty cutlery. The food was okay, but the presentation was awful. The price was okay... The server was nice, but we were also the only two guests. My chair was sticky and those placemats... ugh... there were dead flies everywhere... absolutely terrible!

The food was ordered through Lieferando, and we're unhappy. We ordered two portions of fried rice with huge amounts of meat. It was very dry and very salty; the kids couldn't eat it. The same thing happened with the Familienglück platter with three different meats. There was almost no meat in the plate, it was very salty and spicy, and it was immediately thrown in the trash. It came with dry rice without any sauce. I don't recommend it. It's a disaster. 45 euros paid for nothing.

I can't understand some of the negative reviews. Four of us ate at the restaurant. The rooms were decorated in a traditional style. The owners are very friendly. The price/performance ratio is very good. You'd pay more at similar restaurants. We didn't wait long for our food. The food was hot and tasted excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

I ordered from China Town and am really impressed! The food was fantastic – fresh, aromatic and full of authentic flavours. You can tell that a lot of value is placed on quality and tradition here. I was also impressed by the delivery service. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke German, albeit with a strong Chinese dialect, which gave the whole thing a special charm. It felt like having a piece of China delivered straight to your home. China Town is a real recommendation for me and I'm already looking forward to my next order!

I've been going to China Town for 13 years and I'm always very satisfied. So far I have accompanied all my acquaintances, friends and my entire family here because the ambience and family atmosphere is simply unique in Kassel. The very friendly service goes to great lengths to make their customers happy. My family and I eat here regularly and we have never been disappointed. The food is prepared very quickly and, above all, fresh. The food in China Town always tastes particularly delicious because fresh ingredients are used and it is also freshly cooked. Since this is a family business, the prices at this restaurant are unbeatable. There really is no other place like this in Kassel. And what else stands out positively is the beautiful ceiling, the beautiful and cozy lamps and the pictures and mirrors on the wall. The chairs are nice and soft and there are also cushions available upon request. There are enough seats for all guests and the family is also happy to host tour groups from China here. The family accommodates all special requests. You just have to express them. We have been regular customers for many years and receive very warm service. The China Town restaurant is open 365 days a year. Also on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and all other public holidays. There will always be people who are not happy about something. But that will always be the case. If you know the family, you know that their biggest goal is to give everything for their guests. I can recommend the restaurant to everyone from the region, but also to tourists. This Chinese family gives it their all and hasn't taken a vacation in over 25 years. Open 365 days a year. Also daily until 11 p.m. Except on Christmas Eve, when it's open until 10 p.m. There is also the option of placing your order via Lieferando. I've already done that when I don't feel like cooking on Sunday. You can pick up your food fresh and hot after just 15 minutes and pay in cash. But of course card payments are also accepted. You can pick up food from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. So 12 hours a day. I would like to thank the family for 13 years of hospitality. And there will be many more years to come. Never again. Food was disgusting… the soup what we get its smell like to old and chicken was also too old .. and 1-3mm rough …the dough was thicker than the meat itself… NEVER AGAIN

The staff was totally unfriendly and made a mess of you, for which there was no reason at all! The food was totally unappetizing. The rice wasn't tasty, the fried noodles weren't even fried, but very oily spaghetti. The spring roll only consisted of greasy dough and tasted sour. The sweet and sour sauce was way too sweet and watery. The duck wasn't appetizing either. Almost all of our portions ended up in the trash because we simply couldn't eat it! Everything is an absolute disgrace and just brazen for the price! I would never order from there again!

The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was also juicy and very satisfying✨ The prices are relatively cheap compared to other Chinese restaurants, so it's easy on your wallet 👛 I'll write down what I think is a little weird. Even though the food and the staff at the restaurant were really good, it was such a waste! ! I hope the store will improve it! ・When I visited one day, I found a private room with no toilet paper. By chance, there weren't many customers, so I was able to move to a private room, but I was cleaning the toilet...? - Some of the tea utensils were dirty. Addendum: The restaurant has contacted us and would like to refund the money. I politely declined as it doesn't make it any better. Instead, I explained my criticism in more detail and also expressed it constructively: Hello, thank you for getting in touch, it's not about the money for me. The food wasn't good at all and I had severe stomach problems afterwards. It's better to make the dishes better and spend more money on each dish. But yesterday you couldn't expect anyone to do that. The sour hot soup was brown, I've never seen it before. I was missing the red color and the right consistency, as well as the taste and the chicken meat. The outer packaging was horrible. Suggestion for improvement: New packaging made of Styrofoam or aluminum. Color the soup slightly with smoked paprika powder, a little more spiciness and more meat and more vegetables, all finely chopped. Garlic and coriander were also missing. Continue with that Sour sweet salad: Totally loveless, just not nice. Suggestion for improvement: Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, parsley and, as a dressing, pomegranate syrup and olive oil. This makes the salad sour and sweet but much better than the sugary stuff yesterday. Then baked chicken breast with vegetables (spicy) and fried noodles as a side dish. Chicken breading soggy and chicken dry. Noodles were cold and had no taste. The hot sauce soaked into the breading of the chicken. Suggestion for improvement: Fry the chicken twice, place the chicken individually next to the noodles. The vegetables with the sauce in a separate box so that the chicken doesn't get soggy. This means the guest can put as much sauce on it as they want. Original review: I ordered there yesterday via Lieferando, and what was then delivered was absolutely amazing. You would really have to demand compensation or damages for the food. I only tried 2 forks, end of song I couldn't get off the toilet. Food cold, no taste, just nothing. As a German, I would have cooked this 100% better. I always ask myself how stores like this can continue to survive - it's best to close something like this immediately.

The cola didn't come, this is the second time that the drinks weren't included. The driver insisted. on all the money. Now to eat. Rice with chicken, you can get chicken breast from every Asian restaurant. Here you got separate meat and bones. Every forkful I ate contained bones. AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never again. However, if anyone likes bones in judgment, then welcome!

This shop has menu offers of just under €13. However, only an order value of €13.50 or more according to Lieferando. After contacting us by phone, orders cannot be made for less than €13.50 and can be paid by card. You are asked not to support the store via Lieferando and are turned away. In my opinion, no one there has any idea how to win customers. The store won't last long like this... good luck.

Ich habe noch nie so ein eklig dreckiges Restaurant gesehen. Wer es sauber mag sollte dieses Restaurant meiden. Da war einfach alles dreckig, inklusive dem Pullover der Bedienung. Unglaublich, dass hier das Gesundheitsamt noch nicht den Laden geschlossen hat. Ich bin schockiert.

Über Lieferando bestellt , Lieferzeit wurde mit 20 - 45 Minuten angegeben. 200 Minuten später war das Essen da. Bei zwei Anrufen wurde man nur vertröstet und angelogen. Das Essen kam dann kalt an. Vielen Dank für den versauten Geburtstag. Nie wieder China Town. Die zwei Sterne nur wegen des Geschmacks und des netten Fahrers.

Ich habe jetzt schon öfter dort bestellt über Lieferando. Bis jetzt war alles immer super. Beim Essen kann ich auch nicht groß meckern. Die letzte Lieferung war allerdings die reinste Katastrophe. Der Lieferant war super unfreundlich, hat direkt rumgeschrien, wie ich bezahlt habe und das ich nicht über Paypal zahlen soll. Eine absolute Frechheit, wenn man so eine Zahlmethode auch noch anbietet. Da kann das Essen die Bewertung leider auch nicht mehr rausreißen.

Auf Nachfrage war Glutenfrei kein Problem denn alles wird einzeln zubereitet. Fantastisch auch Reis mit Hühnchen und Gemüse schmeckt sehr lecker mein Kind (12)hat sich sehr gefreut ♥️👍 einfach super.

Finden wir super. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Leute. Bei Lieferung immer heiß und knusprig so wie man es sich vorstellt. Danke gerne wieder!

Ich gehe jetzt seit letztem Jahr im Herbst dort hin. Da ich mich rein pflanzlich, also vegan ernähre fragte ich die Dame ob Gerichte auch vegan möglich sind. Fast alle vegane Gerichte sind auch Vegan umsetzbar. Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Frühlingsrolle, in Würfel gebratene aubergine in sojasauce mit gewürfelten Kartoffeln gebraten( steht nicht auf der Speisekarte) , gebratene gefüllte Teigtaschen ( mit Fleisch oder Gemüse) die man eins bis zwei Tage im Vorraus bestellen muss, da sie am Vortag frisch zubereiten werden. Das Lokal wird von einem Ehepaar geführt, beide sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Der Mann fährt die Lieferung aus. Die Dame ist sehr lieb und lächelt freundlich. Da die meisten Bestellungen geliefert werden, befinden sich im Restaurant wenig Gäste. Bedeutet man hat mit Glück, dass Restaurant für sich allein - freie Platz Wahl. Die Wartezeit ist dadurch kurz. Werde noch ganz oft da sein! 👍

Lieferung innerhalb einer halben Stunde. Solide Qualität des Essens, reichlich war es auch.

Wir waren auf einem Freitag Abend zu 2 dort. Als wir eintraten bemerkten wir, das wir die einzigsten Gäste waren, aber es hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Dame sehr freundlich und Getränke und essen kamen zügig. Es hat alles gut geschmeckt. Und am nächsten Tag geht es einen auch noch gut. Wir werden bestimmt bald mal wieder dort essen.

Очень красивый ресторан с приятной и доброй женщиной китаянкой. Она вам включит китайскую музыку и посоветует вкусную еду. Нам очень понравилась лапша с курицей. Большая порция. Поддержите этот ресторан и тогда в нем распустятся цветы.

Wie haben letztens Essen bestellt zum Liefern und es war eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Die Ente war sehr trocken, weswegen man die Hälfte nicht essen konnte. Ein Aufpreis von 2€ für gebratene Nudeln, die dann nach nichts schmecken und einfach nur fad waren, finde ich nicht gerechtfertigt. Der Lieferant war außerdem unfreundlich. Wir bestellen hier nicht nochmal.

Es war wie immer sehr lecker, wurde schnell geliefert sogar 30 min vor eigentlicher Ankunft. Und werde wieder bestellen

Der Innenraum sieht wirklich schick aus. Die Preise sind mehr als nur in Ordnung, da man für eine recht ordentliche Portion wirklich nur wenig bezahlt. Geschmacklich hebt sich nichts besonders hervor, aber ist auch weit entfernt von schlecht. Für einen netten Abend mit gutem Essen und kleinem Geldbeutel der richtige Ort.

Essen gewesen es war lecker die Bedienung ist voll freundlich und lieb finde es traurig das wir die einzigsten waren habe mit der Dame gesprochen sie meint es lege zu weit weg von der Innenstadt und durch Corina halten sie sich mit Liferheld über Wasser ich komme wieder keine frage 😊

Bestelle schon viele Jahre dort. Mir schmeckt das Essen sehr gut.30 bis 45 Minuten von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung. Das ist normal. Wegen der Inflation sind die Preise gestiegen. Zeitgleich jedoch auch die Portionen um ca 1/3 verkleinert. Das geht natürlich nicht.

Ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht, wir haben heute dort essen bestellt, Ente mit Nudeln……uns hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt! Erst waren wir uns unsicher, ob wir überhaupt dort bestellen, nachdem wir die ganzen schlechten Bewertungen gelesen haben…..aber ich muss sagen, wir haben alles richtig gemacht. Vielleicht sollte man sich immer selbst ein Bild davon machen, bevor man sich auf die Bewertungen verlässt. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder bestellen!

Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Das Essen war lecker und sehr warm. Die Ente knusprig, die Soße lecker und der Reis heiß. Auch der Kinderteller und die Suppe waren geschmacklich klasse! Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die Suppenversendung. Diese dünne Verpackung geht gar nicht. Ein Teil der Suppe war schon ausgelaufen. Eine Suppe kann man nicht in einen dünnen Plastikbehältnis mit einer dünnen Obsttüte(?) liefern. Das war auch das einzige kritische! Bitte nachbessern! Die Lieferung war schnell und der Fahrer freundlich! Wir werden dort (außer Suppe) wieder bestellen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Reisgarnelen waren sehr lecker. Die Lieferung war auch in 15 min erfolgt. Top!

Es war super lecker ! Die Bedienung war auch sehr sehr nett ! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top ! Kann diesen Laden echt nur empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist auch extrem schön :)

Vom Lieferservice angeschrien worden und dann hat er auch noch mein Trinkgeld weggeworfen! Unverschämt, da bestelle ich nie wieder.

Leider eines der schlechtesten China Restaurants, in dem ich bislang war. Suppe und Hauptgang waren völlig ungenießbar. Meiner Meinung nach 0 von 5 Punkten!!

Alles ist ok, nichts besonderes aber auch nicht schlechtes. Man kann auf jeden Fall gut essen. Ala Carte würde ich empfehlen.

Die Menschen vom Chinatown sind sehr freundliche und sympathisch.Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, die Portionen sind sehr groß.
