Always delicious. Very large selection at the buffet.

Delicious food, very friendly and child-friendly staff. We were there for the lunch buffet. The selection was more limited than in the evening, but we were left wanting for more. The platters were always full, even toward the end. There was raw vegetables/salads, sushi, soups, and a variety of hot dishes (including a few pleasantly spicy ones). The dessert selection was very tempting! We particularly liked the large fruit selection, and the kids loved the chocolate fountain. We'll be happy to come back next time we're in the area!

A very nice Chinese restaurant. Nicely decorated and not overcrowded. Parking is always easy. The buffet is extensive; if you come early in the evening, some items might not always be fully stocked, but it's enough. We always enjoy coming here.

Too much running around...perhaps more employees would be better. The place is always busy. We tried it for the first time through Schlemmerblock. The online reviews suggested that the food was supposed to be really good since it's under new ownership. We can only confirm that. The food is super fresh and incredibly delicious. The ambiance is absolutely lovely, and the owner is extremely nice and accommodating. All in all, we'll definitely go there at least once a month. Especially since the price is unbeatable. You guys are simply fantastic!

We had fried rice and mini spring rolls. The flavor was amazing, the spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The portion justified the price of the fried rice. The portion was large, almost double the portion, I'd say. I received a very friendly welcome and was served. Thank you very much.

After reading good reviews about the new owner, we went to the buffet last night. The food was truly delicious and fresh. Mussel lovers will especially enjoy it, but the duck, etc., was also tender and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Yesterday, we (two couples) went to the Sunday buffet at Taoyuan and were all thrilled. A fantastic buffet with everything you could wish for—from sushi to duck, beef, fish, and shrimp—everything was there and constantly replenished. We've never had such a good buffet. The fish was cooked to perfection and still slightly translucent, everything was of very good quality, and for €22.50, it was an unbeatable price. The manager was a very nice and extremely hard-working woman, always checking that there was enough of everything. Very friendly and welcoming. The staff were all excellent, too. We will definitely be back. Thank you :-)

We visited Taoyuan for the first time today based on a Facebook recommendation. It was simply fantastic; the buffet had a huge selection and was incredibly delicious. The owner was very personable—at least I think she was the owner. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and it was very, very clean. We'll definitely be back again. We were there for lunch on a Saturday. Everything was fresh and still hot. A very good selection. Shrimp, breaded shrimp, and tempura sushi are highly recommended. Duck, chicken, and much more. Excellent. There's a chocolate fountain, various sliced fruit, and a selection of cakes to choose from. We thought it was absolutely delicious.

The Chinese Restaurant Taoyuan has had a new owner for a few weeks now and is an insider tip for all lovers of Chinese cuisine! My visit there was an all-around positive experience. The food was not only delicious and well-seasoned, but also beautifully presented as a buffet. The extensive buffet offers an impressive variety of dishes – from crispy duck to fresh spring rolls to aromatic noodle dishes. The quality of the food is delicious and leaves nothing to be desired. You can tell that the food is cooked with love and fresh ingredients. The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Every member of staff always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasant and clean – a place where you feel completely at home. The prices are absolutely reasonable and in line with the quality offered. In summary, the Chinese Restaurant Taoyuan impresses with its excellent cuisine, varied buffet, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere. A visit is definitely worth it! I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and give it full marks. If you're looking for good quality Chinese food, this is the place to be.

By far the worst Asian restaurant I know, and I know a few. Poor quality, the food was old and inedible. Meat was already dried. All in all very bad.

I was there today for the lunch buffet, and I have to say, it was truly excellent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the buffet was constantly refilled. I also had a window seat, and it was pleasantly warm inside. So, I definitely recommend it!

All-you-can-eat buffets. A bit carelessly thrown together. Service was attentive, but language skills were limited. The food from the menu was only lukewarm. The stairwell to the restaurant was dirty and run-down. Unfortunately, the ventilation was poor. The cloakroom stinks of grease.

This was my second time eating there after a previous visit. Somehow I wanted to give the location a second chance after the first visit wasn't satisfactory. The staff is very friendly and works quickly. So much for the highlights. The food is more run of the mill and I somehow didn't find any special taste or reason to want to eat here again. It wasn't the selection, but more the quality and taste. Of course, this is a personal assessment and everyone can see it differently. In some places the audience is wearing T-shirts and sweatpants (that was the case on our evening). Of course, the owner can't do anything about that, but it's still a special impression that lasts and perhaps shows which people want to eat here. The stairwell was very dirty. The entrance area is not inviting. Unfortunately, in my opinion, I cannot recommend the restaurant. I'm sorry because the staff in particular were very friendly. I would also like to remember that if you rate the restaurant (good), there is a “free drink”. I did not use this service, true to my name - independent tester. This entry is just my personal opinion! I'm happy to accept other opinions.

Very friendly and extremely fast service; Less than five minutes after ordering, the drinks and soups were at the table. The main course also happened very quickly. Quality good. If the Peking soup hadn't been too spicy for us, I could have given it more stars. It hasn't been that sharp before - unfortunately the quality/execution seems to fluctuate. Was one of our two favorite Asian restaurants so far. However: The restaurant is quite large and has a lot of seats, so last Saturday we got two seats even without a reservation. It's not comfortable because there are also guests with bad behavior who let their children run around and scream. Therefore only three stars with good will for the ambience, even if two stars would probably be the correct rating. I don't want to blame the restaurant for the behavior of the guests.

I had dinner there last week, all u can eat. Unfortunately we left hungry because we didn't want to eat any more... The buffet looked like it had been there all day, the broccoli was already gray. The fried spaghetti was black. The sauce for the shrimp was already crumbly. Although the service itself was good, I didn't want any new food because I wasn't sure that it could be of any quality. Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended in my opinion!

Unfortunately the buffet will no longer be available again. Constantly empty bowls. The crispy chicken has a very strange texture and is not crispy at all. The noodles are too hard, the sweet and sour sauce has no taste. We would have liked to have saved ourselves the visit.

I got takeaway food there this evening. The great thing: the food was ready quickly. The bad thing: that's exactly how it tasted. The trimmed chicken was totally soft and not crispy and from what it looked like it wasn't a chicken breast but had an extremely interesting consistency. The rice was cooked completely soft. The filled bags, apparently the house specialty, are half raw to the touch. We would never recommend. Bad food for way too much money

My wife and I made a reservation for 7 p.m. last Saturday, and we were surprised when only 3 tables were occupied. When the waitress asked us whether we wanted buffet or à la carte, we took buffet as usual. She then said that they no longer offer all the dishes at the buffet because there are not enough guests. I asked if the buffet would still cost €22.90. She said, of course, but if they want something that isn't offered at the buffet, we'll make it fresh. We accepted the offer, but quickly realized that what was available at the buffet was lukewarm to cold and the sauces had already partially evaporated from being kept warm, so they were pretty dry. We then ordered something fresh, for which we also had to wait 30 minutes. At 8 p.m. we were the last guests. The waitress suddenly asked us if we would like to order anything else because (and we thought we weren't hearing correctly) they wanted to close. We said we didn't want anything more. The waiters immediately began to clear the buffet with a loud clatter, which had now completely ruined the atmosphere. Conclusion: Never again, 60 € go, mood is down. That was the last visit here.

Compared to its terrible predecessor, worlds better! Last visited in May 2024. The terrace was untidy and unclean. The entrance area (water basin) doesn't look particularly inviting. The anteroom to the elevator on the ground floor was dirty! The service was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. The lunch menu offers a wide range. The duck was perfectly fried and tender. The spring rolls are cheap frozen goods like from a discount store. Visit after reopening: The raw ingredients were prepared and served at the table satisfyingly quickly. The food was tasty and the selection was OK. The salmon and the raw mushroom selection were interesting, great! Empty food containers were quickly refilled. But unfortunately there was no check in the ice cream box. Many ice cream flavors were empty. We found breaded fish that wasn't fried long enough. We found the raw beef to be very tough after preparation. It's a shame, unfortunately there were no shelves at the table for the used cutlery. Corona measures were taken (even disposable gloves were offered), but no one seems to care whether the guest follows the rules. Guys, not everyone likes taking elevators. Anyone who walks through the stairwell encounters garbage and dirt!! Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the price is appropriate. Because we know that it can be done much better or cheaper, we think the price is too high! If you don't have too high demands and only know the comparison in the immediate vicinity of Karlsruhe, you will certainly be very satisfied! We give it an honest three stars (satisfactory).

The food was a hit… more like running away from it. The buffet was almost completely empty at 6 p.m., the fried rice was rock hard, the fried noodles were like chewing a fan belt. The duck is completely dry. The dishes with sauces were completely dried out, and the vegetables for grilling were no longer fresh. To put it bluntly, it simply wasn't worth the money

I've only ever been there for the evening buffet. Everything is good there. Today for the first time at lunchtime: complete disappointment. Waited 20 minutes before we were even served. There was what felt like 5 cloves of garlic in one meal. The other was served with the thinnest sweet and sour sauce I've ever "eaten" and it tasted like nothing.

You can forget about a la carte. Also too expensive. If you're very hungry, the fresh buffet is worth it. The food often sits in the bowls for far too long. Toilets not clean and that's probably how it looks in the kitchen too. Nice service.

One of the most beautiful and authentic restaurants I know. Price performance is top! Location is also great for large celebrations. Food is always freshly cooked and the sushi at the buffet is our personal favorite. The service is very nice and friendly and the portions are large.

We've eaten here several times and it's always been great. But the last two times we were there, we noticed that the quality, price/performance and cleanliness had deteriorated. We opted for the “buffet” option, which we later found to be bad. We were there at 6:30 p.m. and the buffet was already empty. There was no salad, no roast duck/chicken. The side dishes were also very poor. There was only dry rice with peas. The leftovers that were still in the buffet were lukewarm. The plates were not preheated or kept warm. The dessert didn't look any better either. No baked bananas, pineapples. There were only 5 types of ice cream that were very soggy. After complaining to the service staff several times, we always got the same answer. The chef was too busy, orders had come in from outside and they would be refilling the buffet straight away. We watched to see if the buffet was being refilled and saw that only 1 plate came out to be refilled. When we entered the buffet, it was sufficiently stocked by the staff. But it wasn't enough for all the guests, but only for maybe 2 people. When we left the restaurant and went through the stairwell, we saw that garbage like sanitary towels/pampers, lucky cookie wrappers, Tempo's was lying there. For the buffet (without drinks) that was not refilled and for the remaining ingredients, which were lukewarm, you paid p. Person €22.90!!! After this disappointment twice, we decided not to visit the restaurant again so quickly.

Good things first: service was nice Unfortunately the negative: Very dirty, starting from the entrance area, all the way to the restaurant and the toilets. The food was ok, I didn't eat the "freshly" prepared food - which you can choose yourself raw - but unfortunately it tasted strange. The finished product from the buffet was ok. Unfortunately we can't keep up anymore, the lack of cleanliness really bothered us. Unfortunately, I automatically assume that this means the kitchen (which doesn't have to be the case...)

Wir sind durch den Schlemmerblock auf das Restaurant gestoßen.. also das Essen war besser wie erwartet, da hatten wir definitiv schon schlechteres! Aber das in den ganzen 1,5 Stunden Aufenthalt kein einziges Mal das Sushi aufgefüllt wurde oder der Reis oder der Lachs.. Sorry das geht nicht! An einem Samstag Abend Hauptzeit 18.30 Uhr es waren mehr Behälter leer wie voll.. Getränke wurden auch echt auf Nachfrage aufgenommen..zur Krönung haben wir einen toten Käfer im Behälter vom panierten Hähnchen entdeckt, da ist uns der Hunger dann auch vergangen. Haben die Bedienung drauf hingewiesen, aber eine Entschuldigung im nachgang kam auch nicht.. hier kommen wir definitiv nicht mehr her und würden es auch nicht weiterempfehlen!

Obwohl wenig los war, hat uns der Kellner übersehen bzw hat es mindestens 10 Minuten gedauert bis wir die Karte bekommen haben. Essen (Buffett) war reichlich da. Leider aber eher lauwarm und geschmacklich ernüchternd. Empfehlung kann ich aktuell keine aussprechen, sondern eher nur ein "naja, Buffet eben"

Ein herausragendes All-you-can-eat-Erlebnis! Die Vielfalt an Gerichten war beeindruckend, und die Qualität hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die entspannte Atmosphäre und das frische, köstliche Essen machen dieses Restaurant zu einer großartigen Wahl für Liebhaber der chinesischen Küche. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die gebratenen Nudeln waren diesmal tot gebraten. Sonst waren wir überwiegend zufrieden. Ist halt ein Chinese wie jeder andere.
