Weinhof Rupp in Pfinztal

Das Essen war mittelmäßig, lauwarm und teuer für ein einfaches Nudelgericht, der Service unfreundlich und eher inkompetent. Zudem fehlte ein Teil der Getränke-Bestellung. Während wir gerade beim essen waren, stellte man dann ein RESERVIERT an den Tisch, ohne uns evtl. mitzuteilen, dass unser Tisch ab Zeitpunkt x dann reserviert sei. Kurze Zeit danach, wir hatten gerade fertig gegessen, kamen wohl die Gäste, für die der Tisch reserviert war. Es waren noch mindestens fünf gleiche Tische frei, in derselben Größe, mit derselben Aussicht ... Dennoch machte die Bedienung deutlich, dass genau UNSER Tisch JETZT vergeben sei. Wir bezahlten, ohne unsere Getränke leer trinken zu können ... wir empfanden das Ganze als unfreundlichen Rausschmiss und werden diese Lokation ganz sicher nie wieder besuchen.

Wir waren mit der Familie essen, alles sehr gut und lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen hier zum Essen. Das Ambiente war hervorragend und wir konnten bei gutem Wetter im überdachten Außenbereich sitzen und die Aussicht genießen. Ich hatte saisonal passend das Spargelgericht mit Salzkartoffeln und Sauce Hollondaise. Beim Spargel wurde nicht gespart. Mir hat etwas Salz in der Soße gefehlt aber sonst eine leckere Erfahrung. Gerne wieder. (leider war eine Kartenzahlung nicht möglich)

SERVICE UNTERIRDISCH / PAMPIG/ MOTZIG! Schade. Achtung: Keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Ort ist sehr schön, aber lieber woanders freundlich bedienen lassen, wenn man schon Geld in der Gastronomie lässt, gehört eben auch guter Service dazu.

Unser Besuch im Weinhof Rupp war rundum ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. 🤩Schon die Lage mitten im Grünen mit dem herrlichen Blick ins Freie sorgt sofort für eine entspannte und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Besonders die große Terrasse mit dem liebe Voll gestalteten Ambiente machen diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Das Essen war einfach vorzüglich – frisch, regional und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Jede Speise war geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und ehrliche Küche gelegt wird. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Wer gutes Essen, eine idyllische Umgebung und gemütliche Stunden in entspannter Atmosphäre genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig!. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können den Weinhof Rupp absolut weiterempfehlen😋

Tolle große Terrasse mit schönem Ausblick. Innenräume auch ansprechend gestaltet 👌🏻 Service freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wartezeit auf den Hauptgang empfand ich etwas lang. Essen war heiß, hat gut geschmeckt und die Portion war groß.

Essen richtig gut und lecker. Große Portionen. Draussen auf der Terasse zu sitzen und in die Natur zu schauen ist einfach genial. Service ist auch nett gewesen, scheint jedoch etwas unter Strom gestanden zu haben. Leider war keine Reservierung möglich. Hier ist eindeutig noch mehr Luft nach oben (weder Email noch Anruf möglich). Komme wieder, da sonst alles top!

Waren nach einer Wanderung im Lokal. Schöne Ambiente, bei Sonnenschein schöner Ausblick von der Terrasse. Service war nett und bemüht. Leider keine Kinderkarte und nur Barzahlung möglich. Das Essen kam nach der Bestellung ziemlich schnell, zu schnell. Käsespätzle zu weich, dafür das Holzfällersteak zu hart und zu trocken. Wahrscheinlich vorgetragen und warmgehalten. Salat und Pommes waren gut. Leider enttäuscht gewesen, das Essen war früher besser.

Extra vorher angerufen ob es eine Kinderkarte gibt. Es wurde bejaht und die Speisen inklusive Preis genannt. Ein Tag später dort gewesen und es wurde pampig gesagt, es gibt keine Kinderkarte. Die Kinder sollen sich eine gemeinsame Speise aussuchen und wird dann auf 2 Teller aufgeteilt. Nicht jeder will das gleiche essen wie jemand anderes, insbesondere wenn eine Kinderkarte versprochen wurde und es nicht eingehalten wird.

Unhöflich! Ich habe Wasser an der Theke bestellt. 0,5L Leitungswasser. Preis: 3,9€ Ich habe das Wasser abgestellt. War mein Fehler vorher nicht zu fragen was es kostet. Als Reaktion bekam ich ein "Furchtbar" und danach kam kein Wort mehr. Das nachdem ich einen Napf (Besitz des Weinhof) Wasser für meinen Hund selber vom Hof holen und auf dem Klo füllen musste. Die Bedienung hat vor unserem Gespräch zumindest gesagt das sie gestresst ist. Sehr schöner Ort aber leider werde ich nicht mehr wieder kommen. Beschimpfen lassen kann ich mich auch wo anders.

Wenn ich schon eine Internetseite betreibe und dort meine Öffnungszeiten aufführe, dann sollten sie auch korrekt angegeben sein. Ich stehe hier am Weinhof, es ist Mittwoch um 14:50, die Sonne scheint - aber alles ist geschlossen. Kein Mensch da. Dafür mag es Gründe geben, einen Hinweis darauf sucht man vergeblich. So vergrault man die Gäste bzw. solche, die es gerne geworden wären.

Sehr lange Wartezeit. Sehr langsames Personal. Nachdem wir eine Stunde auf unsere Bestellung gewartet hatten und nachfragten, warum unser Salat noch nicht da sei, hieß es, er sei ausverkauft. Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen!

The view is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is very comfortable. The food was also delicious. The wine spritzer is served in a glass, something you'd normally only find in the Palatinate region. We thought it was great 😊 However, we didn't realize that you couldn't pay by card, so we had to drive to the nearest bank. A sign at the entrance would have been helpful, especially these days. But that didn't stop us from coming back – this time with plenty of cash 😄

Unfortunately, there are far too few service staff. The wait for drinks and food is simply too long. Otherwise, the food is very tasty. The view from the covered terrace is also very nice.

The food was good, and the location boasts a great view and a quiet setting. Prices are on the high side, but you get a beautiful setting. Dogs are welcome, and there's plenty of parking. Wheelchair access is possible, but only with an escort due to the steep incline. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides: The shandy tasted almost exclusively of beer; lemon or lemonade was barely noticeable. Furthermore, the two waitresses were unattentive – tables were swapped, orders weren't taken correctly, and some things were forgotten. In my opinion, charging for each portion of mayonnaise/ketchup was a bit cheeky.

We had a reservation, which was a good thing, because the restaurant was full. After 30 minutes, we asked a server for the menu, but apparently no one wanted to serve us on their own. They quickly placed it in front of us, but we weren't asked if we'd like a drink (given the heat). We had to make ourselves known again to order. The drinks arrived quickly, and the food was ready quickly, too. Although we specifically didn't order anything elaborate (in our opinion), just sausage salad and cheese spaetzle. In the end, we sat until about 10 p.m. and weren't even asked if we'd like another drink.

The ambiance is still very nice. New, very comfortable seating. Unfortunately, the food prices are too high for us. We used to enjoy eating there for moderate prices. Now we only treat ourselves to drinks, which is a shame. A €2-3 discount on the food would be nice.

And yet another restaurant with classic German cuisine (I only emphasize this because it's rather rare to come across such an offering these days). The menu is manageable, but offers fresh, high-quality options and dishes. Additional seasonal items are added to the daily specials. The service is very friendly and not overwhelmed, even when busy. The arbor-like outdoor area is wonderful in summer. The interior has the charm of the past, but is still cozy.

Very unfriendly. We were sent away because we only wanted to drink 3 drinks but ONE communion was probably too much for them to serve. Half the restaurant was free but there was no time for 3 beers.

Phew. Where do I start now? The Weinhof Rupp was actually a restaurant with everything I like. Great location, great service, great food and fair prices. That was once. Service underground. The quality of the food has declined significantly. Nothing is cooked fresh anymore. Everything is frozen and thawed. Not even the spaetzle is made in-house. The prices have increased incredibly. A side dish of salt costs an impressive €6.90. The only positive thing that remains is the location. Since the son took over the Rupp winery, the quality has been on the decline. If nothing changes in the future, then I will no longer be a guest there and I'm sure others will see it the same way.

Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the super nice ambience at all. Wine spritzer is good, but the waitresses are more than unfriendly and overwhelmed!!!! I definitely won't be coming back any time soon, despite the beautiful view!

It's beautiful here, you can sit outside under the vines on the mountain with a beautiful view and inside it's beautifully rustic. The location is a bit out of the way, but this restaurant is also a great place to stop off after a trip, for example if you were hiking in the area. The service is extremely friendly. And the food is really, really good. The menu is quite small, but contains the most important Swabian cuisine. The Schwabentöpfle is by far the best in the area! For those who don't know it: it consists of pork loin in mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle. There are also strips of bacon here and it tastes wonderful! The onion roast was also very tasty (says my husband). And the spaetzle was homemade, which you can taste! We also had the pumpkin cream foam soup from the daily menu. That was incredibly delicious! However, I would have liked some baguette or bread with it. (Could have also come with a dip, lard or butter as an amuse bouche). Unfortunately, the only thing that disappointed me was the side salad. Precisely because the rest of the food was so delicious, the side salad comes across as pretty bland and unspectacular. It was a combination of different salads. The dressed radicchio was very good and the leaf lettuce was also ok, but the carrot, cucumber and radish salad were very bland and only lightly dressed. The salad was sprinkled with a few sunflower seeds. You could have worked on this and perhaps sprinkled a few sprouts, pumpkin seeds or fruit on top. This could be improved further and then, in my opinion, there will be nothing standing in the way of a star-rated kitchen! We'll definitely be back!

We visited the Weinhof Rupp restaurant as a group in early December 2024. As always, we sat at the regulars' table with 12 people. The food was very good and plentiful. The service was very friendly and prompt.

Weinhof Rupp actually deserves five stars. Service: Nice, prompt and well timed. The fact that for a group of 12 people the food is served at the same time and is still warm is really an achievement that I have to honor. Ambiance: nice, beautifully located and I'm looking forward to staying here in the summer. Food: unfortunately I have to give some deductions here. First of all, the positive. The ingredients were all really good quality. The beef is tender, the duck is tender with a crispy crust, the schnitzel is great. The beef and duck were really perfectly cooked en pointe. The baked cauliflower florets were also a hit. So here too, a great performance from the kitchen. The portion size was "okay", since I don't like overloaded plates anyway and would rather leave a restaurant a little hungry than fill my stomach, so that's not a problem for me. Actually, I would like to emphasize this as a positive. You can read that it actually is lots of plus points... So why only three stars? Fresh ingredients are used here. The chef can probably do what he was trained to do. I have the hard-to-answer question of why this restaurant uses buckets of broth. Super salty soup broth Cauliflower florets cooked in broth Add broth to the sauce Broth in the dumplings Broth wherever possible. By broth I mean bouillon. As everyone knows, it has a strong taste of its own. So strong that it drowns out everything else. I thought that was a real shame. If the rest of the food had been of poor quality and not as good as the kitchen delivered, it might not have been noticed at all, or I would have thought to myself: "Hmm, well, that was to be expected." I find it a sacrilege to spoil the excellent ingredients and cooking skills with broth, which makes it difficult for me to award full points. As I said, I will come back because otherwise, including the price, everything was right. But maybe my push to leave out the broth will be listened to and the recipes will be changed.

Leider heute sehr enttäuscht geworden. Hölzfällersteak mit Pommes und Salat , das beste waren die Pommes gefolgt vom Salat. Das Holzfällersteak war es nicht Wert so betitelt zu werden. Fleisch wurde so schräg geschnitten, dass es auf der einen Seite ca.6mm „dick“ und zur anderen Seite hin nur noch ca 2 mm dünn war. Fleisch in Scheiben gleichmäßig zu schneiden ist eigentlich keine Kunst. Sollte man als Koch auch beherrschen. Die eine (1) sehr dünne Scheibe gebratenen Speck, war, bei 2 schlecht portionierten Steak(chen) der Hohn. Von der Sauce will ich erst gar nicht anfangen. Wenn man fast 20,€ fur ein Gericht, das einen Wareneinsatz von maximal 6,50€ kostet dem Gast so serviert dann sollte man sich überlegen ob das nicht eher geschäftsschädigend ist. Die beiden Bedienungen nehme ich ausdrücklich von meiner Kritik aus. Beide waren sehr freundlich und haben uns ordentlich bedient. Sie tun mir nur leid, da sie ja die Reklamation vom Gast als erstes bekommen und sich dann für das Versagen der Küche beim Gast entschuldigen (müssen) Die können nichts dafür, und haben darum auch ein ordentliches Trinkgeld von uns bekommen. Der Koch oder die Köchin fand es nicht nötig sich eventuell bei mir als Gast für sein Versagen zu entschuldigen. Very quaint and cozy restaurant. The service is very friendly and accommodating, the food is very, very tasty. We had a very nice seat by the window, the service was great, we immediately felt welcome. We had soup as a starter, and the daily recommendation, the pumpkin cream soup, was fantastic. The wait for the soup and then the main course was just right. A little break to get ready for the next course and as long as you would expect when the food is freshly cooked. If anyone wants to enjoy delicious German cuisine, we can highly recommend Weinhof Rupp. The wines we drank were also very fine. We will definitely come back soon. The terrace also looks very cozy, it's definitely a nice place to sit in the summer and enjoy the view with a good meal. The menu also offers a good selection for those with a small appetite. Thank you for the lovely evening with you.

We were hiking in the area and wanted to grab something quick to eat. We had to wait about 1 hour and 30 minutes for food. The same thing at the tables next to us. People wanted to pay but it was simply not possible because no one came to pay. Rarely experienced something like that. Attention, no card payment possible. Unfortunately, schnitzel was only standard 0815. The ambience on the terrace is very positive.

I was there for a hearty snack...so so delicious and first of all the cheesecake...simply delicious...my companion chose the plum cake...hmm both were a good choice 🙋‍♀️

After a report about the Weinhof Rupp was printed in the BNN in September 2024, we quickly decided to stop by there. It is strongly recommended to reserve a table (if you want to sit inside). In addition to very friendly and attentive service, the menu also includes Baden dishes. There is also a changing daily menu. Food and drinks are offered at fair prices. The food was great and tasty. The quantities were sufficient for us. The renovations carried out by the son were also successful. Recommended.

We celebrated our wedding reception with Sebastian at Weinhof Rupp and are incredibly happy that we chose this location. Not only does the terrace have a unique flair in summer, everything else around it also worked extremely well. We were able to make all of our wishes come true, the service was 1a with stars and everyone (87 people) without exception was enthusiastic about the food. Dear Sebastian, we thank you for making our celebration an unforgettable experience and we look forward to celebrating more celebrations with you in the future.

Despite the fact that we didn't make a reservation, the service was very friendly and offered us a place inside. And we were then able to enjoy our dessert on the beautiful terrace.

Next door there is a Wenz fruit farm where you can buy apple juice and other healthy things. ---------- Addition to Weinhof Rupp: Now proud prices. Food and drinks have become very expensive. In my opinion, price and performance no longer match. Too bad!

We celebrated our wedding at Weinhof Rupp with around 90 people in wonderful September weather. The most frequently mentioned was the extremely delicious food. We had a Mediterranean buffet with delicious and varied salads, great cold dishes and a delicious grill buffet. In general the ambience was a dream. The service was great. Sebastian Rupp and his team did a great job. The celebration lasted late into the night. We were completely free to plan. We were not given a choice like with other locations but were able to implement our own wishes.

We had a wonderful summer wedding with a Mediterranean, vegan/vegetarian buffet - Sebastian Rupp and his team outdid themselves! And when it got really cold in the evening, mulled wine was spontaneously distributed and people danced to warm up. Thank you for this unforgettable day!

We were invited to my nephew's wedding. In fact, I didn't know the Ruppenhof until then (from the inside). We were impressed by the ambience, the food and the great commitment of all the service staff involved. Anyone who runs a catering business with so much passion deserves more than 5 stars. Keep it up, you're doing a great job.

Ein rustikales Restaurant in einer sehr schönen Umgebung, benachbart liegen Felder und Obstgärten. Eine tolle Lage, aber leider der Service weniger gut. Wir waren nicht das erste Mal hier zum essen, aber wohl diesmal das letzte Mal. Leider wurden wir wieder enttäuscht. Das Essen ist sehr überteuert, die Fleisstücke wurden auch von Mal zu Mal immer kleiner, was uns aber gar nicht gefällt, hier wird anscheinend an den Personalkosten gespart. Viel zu wenig Bedienungspersonal, die vollkommen überfordert ist mit der Menge der Arbeit und daher alles ewig lange dauert. Der Gast muss über eine halbe Stunde warten, bis er mal gefragt wird, was er haben möchte. Beim Bezahlen das Gleiche. Keine Chance, die Blicke der Bedienung zu erwischen. Sie gucken beim vorbeilaufen in die Ferne oder auf den Boden. Nachdem wir das fünfte oder sechste Mal vergebens den Blickkontakt aufbauen wollten, sind wir zur Kasse reingelaufen, um zu bezahlen, aber wir wurden rausgeschickt, weil sie gerade keine Zeit hatten. Sorry, das ist kein Service! Wir wollten nur schnell abendessen, aber es wurde ein sehr langer Abend dort. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Wir möchten hier produktive Kritik an den Weinhof Rupp abgeben und haben uns deswegen entschlossen es hier zu schildern: Wir haben die Taufe unserer Töchter mit 20 Erwachsenen und 4 Kinder gefeiert. Der Termin und auch die Zeiten waren vorher abgesprochen und geplant. Die Location ist super und perfekt für Geburtstage und Events. Wir waren hier schon sehr oft Essen und waren bisher immer zufrieden, deswegen sind wir nun umso mehr enttäuscht: Zu Beginn hatten wir einen Sektempfang geplant/abgesprochen. Die Gläser waren da, nur der Sekt hat gefehlt und bis der kam waren schon mal 10 Minuten vergangen. Auch ein alkoholfreier 0.0% Sekt für die schwangeren sollte da sein, leider war dieser nur alkoholfrei. Das Essen war zwar sehr gut, kam leider verspätet und auch nicht ganz das was abgesprochen war, das konnten dann einige nicht essen (Vereinbart: Putensteak Natur ohne Panade und es kamen Putenschnitzel mit Panade). Als wir darauf den Service hingewiesen hatten, wollte sie es mit dem Chef abklären, aber es passierte nichts. Die Kinder mussten bis dahin genauso lange warten wie die Erwachsenen, obwohl das anders abgesprochen war ( Ankunft: 13.15Uhr, Salate kamen gegen 14.30Uhr, alles Weitere gegen 14.40Uhr). Der Service war nicht gut. Wir fühlten uns vernachlässigt, auch die Teller und leere Gläser wurden nicht sehr schnell wieder abgeräumt. Nach dem Schichtwechsel, als wir dann drinnen waren, wurde auch der Service besser und es wurde öfters nach Getränken gefragt (Danke Natalia, du weißt was Service bedeutet!). Wir hätten mehr bestellt, doch irgendwann war die Stimmung getrübt, als dann Getränke vergessen wurden bzw. auch noch falsche Getränke kamen. Als wir dann Abends gegangen sind, fragte ich nach dem Chef und der Rechnung. Die Rechnung kam, der Chef leider nicht. Auch die Reste vom Essen wollten wir noch mitnehmen, hatten sie aber nicht mehr (beim abräumen hatte ich extra eine Servicekraft darum gebeten). Feedback an Herrn Rupp: Das Essen war sehr lecker, durchweg hat es allen geschmeckt! Ich persönlich würde für ein solches Event, eine Servicekraft extra abstellen, falls das nicht möglich ist, dann das Personal besser schulen. Wenn an dem Tag so viel schief ging, dann hätte ich mich über kurze Rückmeldung vom Gast gefreut, denn nur so kann man wachsen und zufriedene Gäste bekommen. Es gab ein paar Differenzen in der Rechnung, ich hatte Sie angerufen und auf ihren AB gesprochen, leider kam bis heute keine Rückmeldung von Ihnen und per Email sind sie nicht erreichbar. Die Rechnung ist komplett bezahlt! Ihre Vorschläge bei der vorherigen Absprache waren super, leider hat es an der Umsetzung gehakt. Ich hatte meinen Taufgästen von ihrem Familienweinhof vorgeschärmt, leider waren viele nach dem Besuch vor Ort dann enttäuscht. Gerne können Sie sich immernoch bei uns melden. Freundlich bedient, toller Ort mit Ausblick von der Terrasse. Nur eine einzige Bedienung, die wirklich rennen muss. Unsere Gruppe ist teilweise durstig nach Hause gegangen - da wäre mehr Umsatz möglich gewesen.

Wunderschöner Außenbereich gerade abends im Sommer eine tolle Atmosphäre. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick über das Hirschtal. Das Essen ist wirklich super lecker, gute deutsche Küche.

Traditional german meals well prepared. The place is located in a very beautyful area for walking and hiking trips. The panorama from its big long terasse is the main advantage of the place. Its recommended to reserve table in advance, as it is often full or not open for public due to weddings.

Top Lage, schöne Aussicht von der Terrasse! Freundlicher Service, leider hat es am Ende bei der Abrechnung nicht ganz gestimmt. Essen war ok, Preise allerdings heftig. Kein Angebot für Veganer. Würde trotzdem wiederkommen!

Wenn man etwas zur Ruhe kommen möchte, sitzt man auf der Terrasse richtig-viel Natur und Ruhe rundherum. Wir haben einen sehr freundlichen und belastbaren Service erleben dürfen. Das Essen war schmackhaft und reichhaltig.

Super schön zu sitzen und leckeres Essen
