China Restaurant Royal Pavillon in Schönefeld

One of the best Asian buffets I know. Only the Asian temple in Nuremberg is better xD. For €27, you get all you can eat. What you get for that is truly fantastic. Extremely good sushi...good meat...fried foods, etc. There's something for everyone. The soft serve ice cream is also extremely good. The baked goods, i.e., desserts, are okay, but not mind-blowing. Restrooms are very clean and pleasant. The place is well-stocked, and it's definitely advisable to call ahead to make a reservation. There's also a small koi pond inside. Overall, the interior is superb...can't complain. Everything is very tasteful, and there's plenty of space. Some of the food is served to your table by robots...fully autonomously. This applies to everything prepared by the hard-working chefs on the grill. You choose what you want to grill, put it on a plate, attach a clip with a number on it...and voila, it's prepared, put on the robot, which is briefly programmed, and then cheerfully delivers the food...great. The only thing that's a bit annoying are the customers themselves. Since the buffet is located near several hotels, there are often rude guests who have forgotten all their manners. The place can't do anything about it, but it's annoying. It's happened several times that guests have tried to leave without paying...several times...very unpleasant. They ALWAYS get caught, since all the employees are networked and everyone is watching...so don't do it, guys xD. Many guests also don't realize that they can get more food as often as they like! It's always very embarrassing when you see guests who put so much effort into their little things that everything falls off again. You feel embarrassed for them. Otherwise, a top address. I can only recommend it.

Large open restaurant with a variety of dishes. Walking around the huge restaurant during the buffet meal is a bit idle. All in all, worth a trip every month.

The Royal Pavilion is a large restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet. There is plenty of space, in particular there are several separate rooms for family celebrations etc. (reserve). The service is professional. The food selection is large. Fish, seafood and meat appear fresh and tasty. You can put together your own “compositions” and have them fried or use prepared dishes. The ambience seems a bit cold and impersonal, designed for large numbers of visitors, but at the same time tidy and clean. The selection of dishes corresponds to the German expectations of standard China, the additional fresh offerings add some value. People don't usually come here because of the exclusive food, but because there is something for every taste - and because the Royal Pavilion is designed for larger groups.

Very nice Chinese and Mongolian buffet. Very large selection of food and drinks. The selection of fresh ingredients was also very good. The staff is very attentive and brings drinks quickly and clears plates. But if there is no single room, it is very loud in the hall.

Beautiful restaurant decorated with a lot of love :) I also took a couple of pictures for you :) There was a Mongolian buffet for food but I don't have any pictures of it this time :) Every time we've been there we haven't been disappointed :) I also think that everyone will find something to eat at the buffet :) See you next time :)

The range of food and the quality of it is above average. We chose the Mongolian "all you can eat" buffet and didn't regret it, as the price/performance ratio (€24.90) was absolutely fine! We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the variety of the buffet. Starting with the starters and ending with the dessert (delicious pastries, ice cream and fruit), we had nothing to complain about! You can have the fresh buffet, consisting of various seafood, steaks, poultry and more, grilled and then quickly brought to you by a robot. We also think it's very good that overly overfilled plates, which would actually be impossible to manage, are charged €3 per 100 g. This prevents senseless waste of food that then ends up in the bin. We are thrilled with the Royal Pavilion and would love to come back!

We came with 14 people and spent my father's 93rd birthday there. Everyone was really excited. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately you couldn't try as much as you wanted. Nothing fit anymore. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Grandpa received a birthday serenade. Everything was ok in terms of price. We'd love to come back

So the food, well, if I have a gusta for Asian and don't want to drive far then I just go there. Service isn't great, the one at reception is a bit arrogant and that bothered me. Normally I would give 1 star for the service but the others did their job well.

We were there on February 22nd. Eating here for the first time with 9 guests. Nice restaurant, food as usual Asian good, nothing different from other large restaurants, everything ok and tasty. Very good selection, nice sushi variants. But: Check in a disaster! The waiter leaves you at the reception even though we are on time for the reservation. My mother, after chemotherapy, which you can clearly see, stands with us for about 10 minutes and wonders what exactly the waiter is doing. Other guests are constantly being let in from the back and brought to the table, while we continue to stand around at the front like idiots! At some point it will be our turn. Now let's go to the table, no, wait! , comes the announcement! He starts to move the chairs out of the separate room, my mother is already looking at me. Well, what do you want to do? About 5 minutes later you are finally allowed to enter the room with the reserved table. So then nothing happens for now. 10 minutes later the first people go to the buffet because we're really hungry for something to eat. The first people are at the buffet, where he is the waiter again and is allowed to order the drinks. Half the team is no longer at the table, understandable right, my daughter is running! go get my wife, the waiter looks at you angrily. It went on like that all evening! Great 50th birthday. I left the gift from the restaurant, a glass column with the logo of the restaurant, standing. I don't want to have a reminder of this restaurant at home, that's too stupid for me. In between, a waitress came in once and was super nice and in a good mood. I then paid her almost €400 directly with a card. The waiter was surprised that I didn't pay him, did you pay he asked twice. Yes, I have. It's a shame, apart from the waiter everything was fine. If I come again with the risk of experiencing it again, no, I'm sorry, I'll go to Britz next time where the restaurant is very old-fashioned but the staff is normal and friendly on an equal footing. Were in Berlin over the weekend and discovered this restaurant. We then booked a table online and went there in the evening. In the middle there is a large koi pond with some fish. A real eye-catcher. Above the pond is a beautiful blanket that looks like a sky with clouds over mountains. The restaurant is well located and easy to reach, unfortunately parking is chargeable on Sundays. Monday - Saturday you can park for free for the first two hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were quickly escorted to the table. Our drink order was then taken straight away. The selection of drinks is large, from soft drinks to cocktails and warm drinks. The buffet is large, with a lot of choice. There is something for everyone. Great selection of raw things that you can fry. The finished fried things are then brought to the table using cool serving robots. The choice of meat was also great, I liked the chicken in sweet and sour sauce best. Then there are the fried things. On the side there is a dispenser with honey for the fried bananas and fried pudding. There was also a large selection of sushi. So there is something for every taste. There is also a salad bar with various sauces and dressings. You can also find a large selection of desserts. There are baked goods such as cakes, donuts, eclairs, cream puffs and also donuts. A soft ice cream machine is also available with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, but you can also use both types together. There is also chocolate and strawberry sauce. I would like to come again if I'm in the area again. We were very satisfied. The food was very, very tasty.

We were here for the lunch buffet. Standard Asian food is served. The quality was partly below average. However, the coconut soup with chicken was good. Everything else is pretty much “okay”. A little over €20 per person is clearly too high for a lunch of this quality. The money can be better invested elsewhere. The evening buffet could possibly be better, but unfortunately I can't judge that since we were only there for lunch. The only explanation I can give as to why a 4.6 is the average rating here is that the quality was probably better in the past.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. The food is tasty and you can eat as much as you want. If there is no reservation, you can wait until something becomes available (this was my case). I recommend it with a clear conscience and I will definitely come back here.

One of the best all you can eat restaurants I've been to so far. The buffet is constantly being replenished, everything is fresh and tastes really good. You should actually avoid this place on weekends. A canteen or cafeteria has a much lower noise level. Conversation without practically shouting at each other is hardly possible, unfortunately. The quietest room is the lobby 🤐. However, the selection at the buffet is great, fresh, and new items are added regularly. Food is really very tasty.

The restaurant opens at 12:00 p.m. It actually opens at exactly 12:00 p.m. Until this time you stand in front of the uncovered door, whatever the weather, you can see it clearly from the inside, but it doesn't change anything. The food from the buffet with starters, main courses and desserts and an extraordinarily wide selection satisfies a wide range of tastes. Sushi lovers are also taken into account. The same applies to children, here too everyone is satisfied. Everything is freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is very good. Another highlight are the small serving robots that bring the food to the table. We'd love to come back.

A solid place if you're in the mood for Chinese food. The buffet is large and has different Chinese dishes. The Mongolian grill is particularly impressive. There is a very good selection of fish and seafood. The dessert variations can be a little more modern, who needs Jell-O? The drinks are also a bit too expensive.

Unfortunately the food isn't tasty at all. The fried things (especially the fish) were cold and not at all edible. The service is also intrusive. You have to order drinks, otherwise you pay €3 each as a fine. I wouldn't recommend it.

This great AllYouCanEat buffet is hidden here completely in the middle of nowhere. If you happen to be stranded here as a BER passenger, you can find almost everything that the average European knows from Asian cuisine here every day! In addition to sushi, soups, baked goods and all sorts of Chinese dishes, there is also an area with raw meat and fish, which you can have freshly prepared on the grill along with lots of vegetables. Everything is then delivered by hard-working robots that not only deliver quickly, but are also very friendly and even sing for birthday children ;-).

We were there on a Sunday with 4 people for the buffet. It was quite full and the size of the restaurant gave it a bit of the atmosphere of a southern all-inclusive hotel. But: the food is incredibly delicious. Everything is fresh, very good quality and prepared with a lot of dedication. And that's what it's all about. If you want to sit a little more quietly, book yourself into one of the separate rooms. In any case, the Royal Pavilion is a real recommendation! Not forgetting the very attentive staff and of course the 4 robots that serve the food.

Everything was not good but very good. Rarely have I seen such a good Chinese restaurant. The service is very good sometimes too fast because it is very busy. Although we have around 5 to 8 robots to serve, a little more time for the customer would also increase the tip. In China it is better to respect the customer. They've lost it here in Germany because the typical German can't demand it and enjoy it, which is why 5 stars also for service. Today was really bad here. The waiter was totally unprofessional. The food was cold and not spicy as emphasized 3 times. The s3 prawns are in the shell which is not mentioned in the menu

We were registered on a Saturday evening with 6 people, also on time, but still had to wait about 15 minutes before we were shown to our table. It was extremely crowded. I went to the restaurant on different days and ate there. The first time the Sauer-S Hot soup way too thick, totally sweet - like jam. On both visits, all of the food was very lukewarm with a tendency to be almost cold. I also complained about the service. On the first visit, I ordered from the menu and on the second visit, I helped myself to the buffet. All in all, for me personally, it wasn't worth these prices. Very nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

Even though our reservation wasn't found in the book, we got a table on time. The drinks came quickly and the service was quick without being pushy or rushed.

Best Mongolian buffet I've tried so far

One litre of oil in one plate of noodles.. you cannot feel the taste of food because of the oil. You can literally see the fat oil layer over the entire plate. There is no ketchup in the restaurant. Looks good but tastes nothing.. There is no other restaurant nearby so you are forced to eat here while travelling. Poor service.

We were here for the first time today and unfortunately our expectations were not met. The restaurant is nicely decorated (with a koi pond inside), but unfortunately it exudes the charm of a train station hall. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is correspondingly high. It's completely designed for buffet dining and the menu itself doesn't have any surprises in store. The food itself is good and tasty. When it comes to service, it should be said that the operating robot is a fun accessory, but it doesn't do everything. The fact that some guests' empty plates had already been cleared away even though other guests were still eating is a no go in my opinion. Otherwise you didn't get the impression that you wanted to stay here for long. All in all, unfortunately we won't be coming back because we didn't feel comfortable here.
