Very friendly and attentive service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

We celebrated a birthday here. Nice atmosphere, delicious food (pancakes, schnitzel, burgers), then a walk, followed by coffee, and very attentive staff (including an improvised vase and a legrest for an injured guest)!!! Everything was great!! 🤗

Update 10-2025: In the last 3 months, we've given it a second chance 3 times, and 1 star has now become 4 because: Some of the previous staff have been recruited, which means the quality is almost back to normal, and the air quality at Kyoto is better. You're greeted and served in a friendly manner! There's a new menu, but it's not clear in the "Fried Rice Noodles/Udon Noodles" section. The portions are tasty and very generous, so the value for money is good again! -------------------- 07-2025: We wanted to eat at Kyoto again. Unfortunately, there were only unfamiliar faces, and the "waiting staff" rudely slapped the menu down on our table with the comment: "Place your order at the counter!" The menu looked different than usual, with many items removed. A glance at the plate at the neighboring table prompted us to get up and leave. We've been very satisfied in recent years and have often eaten at Kyoto or picked up food. We were always greeted warmly (including by the kitchen staff). We'll keep an eye on developments and then maybe give it a second chance... It's absolutely wrong to lure guests with reviews from the previous owner. When the owner or name changes, the rating must start from zero.

I can't believe these reviews are for this restaurant. The taste and decor are a disaster! I should have listened to my gut feeling instead of Google! It's a waste of ingredients and my money. Don't eat there! I sent my plate back almost full. Stay well away. In my opinion!

This isn't a hotel, but a restaurant that also offers a few simple guest rooms. The owners are friendly but clearly overwhelmed. The "reception" is only staffed at certain times, and these are unpredictable. Wi-Fi is OK on the ground floor but weak and slow in the rooms. The rooms are neat, modern, and clean, but very small. You have to find your own breakfast (recommendation: Amthor on the main road below). Overall: if you absolutely have to stay on a budget, you can stay here.
