Still the best kebab in Kassel. All the others can't compete, sorry. I'll stick with Cult.

I am referring to Lieferando order number 4VWWMT. No Börek were delivered. There was neither a refund nor a subsequent delivery. Since this constitutes the criminal offense of fraud, I will not be able to avoid filing a report.

We are regular guests at this restaurant and have always been satisfied. Today, February 12th, 2025, we had a somewhat unusual experience. The service seemed a bit distant this time and we would have liked more attentive support. The food today wasn't quite as hot as usual. However, since we appreciate the restaurant for its otherwise excellent quality and friendly service, we assume that this was an isolated incident and will definitely come back.

Probably the best kebab in Kassel. It was very, very tasty. I've never seen juice run out of rotisserie meat when it's being cut. I can only recommend the store!!

I should have thrown away the kebab straight away, got rotten chicken meat and had the price of veal deducted, probably because I'm German, but that's just the way it is

For the first time at Kult Döner Essen, I took the nice one to take away, you can also use whole grain bread as bread for your kebab. Cukt kebab is supplied by a baker and the lahmacun is homemade. Very friendly group paid 22.30 euros. Great taste, close to the main station.

Food tastes very good!! The price for the food is okay, you get something for your money here. But a 0.33 cola for €3.90 isn't possible!! Doner kebab costs €8.50 (veal) on the stated board but deducted €9?! Service is also an absolute disaster. I paid with a card, he couldn't print the bong and asked me to pay again. Even though my bank told me that it would be debited. I showed it to him and he was okay with it. I get into the car and I'm already at the front facing the main street and he comes out and wants to discuss again that I should pay again, that's not possible!! The amount was later withdrawn from the account as normal!!!

According to the employee, it was because of the tomatoes or red cabbage, but I didn't have any tomatoes or red cabbage on it; I was then told that it could be the bag (white bag). I don't really know.

Not a normal kebab shop. Very attractively designed. Good cuisine, nice staff. A real surprise.

For me one of the best kebabs in Kassel...otherwise you know the kebab with tzatziki but there are homemade sauces so it's a clear favorite for me...price performance is great and everything else is too...keep it up

Leider konnte mich der Döner hier überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Statt saftig geschichteten Kalbfleischscheiben, wurde das übliche, nicht definierbare Presszeug serviert, wie man sie von durchschnittlichen 0815-Dönerläden kennt. Die Saucen basieren überwiegend auf Mayonnaise, was den Geschmack eher schwer und eintönig macht. Angesichts der vielen positiven Bewertungen hatte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Vielleicht haben einige Gäste, die diesen Döner in den höchsten Tönen loben, noch nie einen wirklich authentischen Döner Kebap probiert. Für mich war es leider eine große Enttäuschung.

The kebab plate can be ordered in 3 sizes and is super delicious

Tasty but small kebab. The waiting time was awful, I waited 15 minutes just to place my order and another 20 minutes until I could start eating. So there's no need for a quick kebab here.

Good concept, clean food, if the waitress is there or the boss works properly, if they are not there it takes a thousand years until the order is taken, so you would like to leave again.

Good kebab in a central location

Addendum 10/26/24 18 euros for a bottomless kebab plate with hardly any meat on it, on site it is much more expensive than taking it away. Addendum: Had dinner there again today, the food turned out really bad. The worst thing was the sauces, everything based on mayo, were disgusting. Portions have become very small. Sad thing like that. Food is good for Kassel, unfortunately nothing more is possible in Kassel.

This is where I go when I feel like eating a lot of good meat and want to treat myself. It's not even about the price, it's simply appropriate for the quality of the food. It's actually the taste that I treat myself to once or twice a month, because too often it naturally spoils. My favorite is the XL kebab plate with veal, rice and herbs with spicy sauce, but the sweet potatoes are also delicious. So if you really want to do something good for someone, you can't go wrong here.

We came to the store in the evening after work at 9:25 p.m. We wanted to eat a quick kebab plate. The first sentence from the waitress: “We close at 10 p.m.”…. “Okay, then let’s go again” It's a shame that Cult doesn't need to and makes such a statement to customers. I was always satisfied, but then I eat my kebab somewhere else.

The food is ok, but the waiting time is way too long. If you're in a hurry, it's definitely not worth eating here.

I visit the “Cult Cassel” restaurant regularly and can only report positive things! The atmosphere is modern and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. I recently took two friends there and they also loved the food. The menu offers a great selection of creative dishes that are freshly prepared. We all particularly liked the combination of regional and international influences. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. We enjoyed the food and will definitely come back. "Cult Cassel" is a real insider tip in the city that I can only warmly recommend! Abidin Kilic

If you don't feel like eating kebab in flatbread, you should take the time to order a kebab plate in the restaurant. Here, no minced meat is fished out of a warming container, but rather real meat cut directly from the spit.

Ambiance 5 stars, friendliness 5 stars, taste 4 stars. I think the “Kebab” is great, especially with the slightly different concept regarding the bar in the back area. The taste was good, it could have been a bit warmer & what's a real shame is that the Dürum dough isn't prepared freshly in-house... this is the only reason why I only give it 4 stars. Otherwise very satisfied, but a shop like this would put any in our area to shame. (I come from a different place)

A kebab was forgotten and the order took a long time

The three of us were here shortly before closing time and were able to both order and eat in peace. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. But now to the main thing, the food: The two kebabs (1x chicken, 1x veal) were huge and delicious and the kebab plate with fries was also super good and tasty. Absolute recommendation!

In Kassel there are of course endless kebab shops and I've already been to one or two. Today I was at the Cult for the first time. And what can I say: It's simply the best kebab in town, definitely for me. The store itself impresses with its cozy and chic ambience. The service is friendly and the food is prepared quickly. The kebab plate was an absolute dream, this brilliant rice and this tender meat, just an absolute dream. So for me a very clear recommendation. 👍👍

Food is okay, it always arrives lukewarm, but it still tastes good. Unfortunately, the prices aren't getting any cheaper, but charging €17 for a kebab plate is a bit cheeky. In addition, you get bad service for free during your stay where you have to wait 30 minutes for service. So if you charge prices like that, the service is taken into account and you should at least see that customers come.

The three of us paid €70 for a kebab shop, but unfortunately it was no longer hot but lukewarm for a glass of iced tea, which costs €3.80 in the store (€1.20). The service wasn't good either.

A nice location in itself, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. A whole €6 for a fries with mayo and €3.20 for a Fritz Cola, is that still possible?? At that price you expect a bucket full of fries, but all you get is a small bowl. It's a real shame, but Kult Kassel never again! Not recommended!!!

I had a veal kebab plate and I don't know how they manage to produce the driest, most unchewable kebab meat, but wow, they do. And it costs 17 euros. My fries were also cold.

Doner kebab is very tasty, but €8.50 was deducted from me even though it says €8 on the menu. You also pay €4 for a small apple spritzer from the bottle!!!

Unfortunately the kebab has become very small (see picture). For the fact that you pay €8-8.50, the portions are really small. You definitely won't get tired of it. They put in very little meat. Some of the sweet potato fries were also dark and black and had been in the deep fryer for too long. Therefore only one star.

I only come for the vegetarian dishes. The bread is especially great, as is the falafel. The portions are definitely filling and the food looks/tastes fresh. However, the music volume in the store is terrible. You almost have to shout at each other to talk, which just makes the visit tiring. Furthermore, the sweet potato fries unfortunately turned out extremely bad. You really can't eat them anymore. A single wobbly lump for a relatively large amount of money. In general, you can grab a drink, fries and Dürüm (or similar) in your pocket. As a single person you are just €20. The service is sometimes better and sometimes worse, but in any case there are relatively long waiting times due to the large number of orders.

Cult, very centrally located within walking distance of the main train station, would be one of the tastiest restaurants with Turkish food. The dishes are always freshly made, properly prepared and of course very tasty! The staff is young, flexible and friendly, although I would like to see more effort put into serving guests at the table. The restaurant has a decent ambience and it's fun to enjoy lunch on the armchairs. A large veranda is also available in summer. A drawback, but hardly something to blame in the current times, is the prices, which have risen sharply. A kebab now costs over €8.

If I could I would give 10 stars. Actually, I don't like every kebab, but at Cult I ate the best kebab in my life. Service and ambience round it off. Just amazing!

The restaurant is not your average kebab shop. The ambience invites you to linger and everything there tastes very tasty. I would go there again and again. The order is made very quickly and with love for the product, whether to take away or to eat there.

Way too expensive. Wanted to eat there again after four years. Doner kebab €8, Lamacun special: €9.50, kebab plate XL €18. Someone in front of me had a Lamaccun (I think Lamaccun Special) and it didn't even look that big. He also ordered a kebab. With the kebab he asked for a little more sauce. Answer: "Yes, but it costs extra." I look at the board, €1 for extra sauce. Then I left. Rating from 4 years ago: Very very very good! I usually eat a kebab plate with sweet potatoes there. I haven't tried pizza and so on there yet.

Once again I had a very good kebab. Unlike many others, this one comes close to Berlin kebab without any problems. This is a kebab and not a rotisserie mess! I couldn't say anything about the price of this kebab in terms of quality or taste. Unfortunately, we had to experience quite a setback for 8 euros per kebab. Very small, the taste was good as always, the sauce was great, the vegetables were fresh and the meat was juicy, but there was quite a bit. Especially for the price. There was no feeling of satiety. Neither for me nor for my girlfriend and we eat normal portions. Very unfortunate. Hope things get better again. Kind regards

The meat was too old that I couldn't sleep all night. The cashier even charged me an extra kebab, then I wanted my €8 back. Especially 8€ for so little meat on it. 0 stars and not recommended.

Service has declined sharply for months. It's a real shame how sometimes the best turns into the worst.

Unfortunately, our last visit will really be our last. The service was virtually non-existent. Neither a menu nor drinks were brought to us. We had to get both ourselves even though the store was empty. What a pity! Food was great, unfortunately nothing else!

Was there for the first time today. I found out about the prices on the site beforehand. Unfortunately it no longer matches what you have to pay in the store. On average it was €1 more. I ate a veal kebab for €8 which was good and ordered a lahmacun without meat for €7 and a portion of fries for €4.90. So three things just under €20 which is ok. But unfortunately the Lahmacun was very little filled and then paying 7 euros for a touch of salad and some sauce is really crazy. 5 euros would have been too much. Since it was take-away, the VAT increase, which is supposed to cause a high price, doesn't count. So everything was fine, but unfortunately the first thought after eating was what else to eat because you weren't full.

So we are very disappointed! The shop was recommended to us by friends, so we went there and were really disappointed. The food was very expensive and was cold when we got it. We mentioned it when paying and the seller said that it was freshly prepared, but we can't say that. We had a falafel plate and a kebab plate and both were cold.

The two of us ate a kebab plate for 17(!!!) euros each. A can of Cola costs (0.95 euros in the store) - 3.80 euros. Overall, a proud price. That means: we paid almost 50 euros for the two of us in a kebab shop. Preparation took 45 minutes. The quality of the food was good and not objectionable, but unfortunately it was no longer hot but lukewarm. The staff was normally motivated. Overall expensive.

We were at the Kult on Friday evening and ate there. Service was good, unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food. The food itself was again very good, the kebab meat is simply the best here.

Cult not only offers a premium version of a kebab shop with an attractive interior, but also fast and friendly service. The kebab is prepared quickly. Although the prices may seem high, this is also reflected in the ambience, which is not found in ordinary kebab shops. The kebab itself, with tasty meat and well-balanced flat bread, is not spectacular, but solid. The opportunity to sit outside completes the positive overall picture. There is no reason to complain about the friendly service.
