Best burgers in town 🫶 Again and again

The burgers taste good, but are rather small. We highly recommend fries as a side dish, they are also delicious. The conditions were always friendly and the atmosphere is typically American. All in all, Chevys is worth a visit if you like American cuisine.

The American Diner is, in short, a nostalgic classic with a very cool American and cozy flair. The staff is friendly. The menus are great and super tasty. I always feel very comfortable there.

Citizens, mega-large fries with mayo for 14 euros? Well. I thought it was a joke. You can get a kebab for just 10 euros. Wrong thought. Apparently there was a menu here from the good nostalgic American times. Cheap and delicious! We actually just made a quick stop to get something to eat for the journey. But first, thank you! I'm just writing this because it was really good! There is one thing though. If the Burger Pettie were homemade now, it would be perfect.

Hasn't changed much in the last 20 years. Except the prices in relation to the portion. That disappointed me, especially since the great taste of the chicken wings from back in the day was rather bland and boring. #Too bad

Absolutely bad, cheapest meat like Lidl burgers. Really weird... nothing to do with beef. Paid 50ct for mayo and stuffed coleslaw from the cheap Lidl packaging into a jar. You should be ashamed of yourself... you could really do something nice with this location...

The Chevy Diner is a successful variation of an American diner in a former gas station. The atmosphere inside is great. You can also sit outside where you used to refuel. The gas station roof, a tree and a few parasols provide shade. The menu mainly features burgers. There is also a selection of other dishes, such as salads, baked potatoes, ribs and chicken. Delicious desserts and house lemonade round off the harmonious offering. The selection of burgers is rather small. These are very tasty. Various types of fries and coleslaw are available as side dishes. The "normal" fries are very good. Ketchup is included free of charge as a sauce. Other sauces cost extra. You get a relatively large portion in a paper bowl. The portion of burger, fries and coleslaw comes on a surprisingly small plate, but fills you up well. I wouldn't be able to do more than one normal-sized burger (like a Hamburger Royal TS). There is also a burger with 2 slices of meat and a so-called Giantburger with a larger bun and patty diameter (roughly like a Whopper). The service is ok. There are a variety of temporary assistants who vary in their level of friendliness and commitment.

Very tasty food!!! Great service!!! The ambience is great too, it just seems a bit tired. We'll be back.

Revised review because apparently something wasn't following Google guidelines, whatever that was: The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is good. Regarding other reviews, when it comes to the quality of the products, you should always keep in mind that the prices offered certainly have something to do with what is purchased by the restaurant. Therefore, you can't expect a 10 euro burger to taste like a 25 euro burger. I like it there, even though there are certainly restaurants that are better in some way. Anyone who complains about the ambience... has not understood the purpose and ambience of an American diner. Personally, I think the store has character :) And I tolerate the food well. That's actually always a good indicator for me, since I'm quite sensitive 😅

Waited three quarters of an hour for the food. Otherwise great food and nice service.

The ambience is awesome! You have to see it! But I prefer to make the food myself. The price for THAT food?! Oh well. I wasn't impressed with the taste. But my advice was well received and passed on in a friendly manner 👍🏻 You can't do anything better without criticism ;)

Obviously new/different staff in the kitchen, quality much worse than usual. So bad (practically inedible) that we won't go there anymore. Burgers were fried to death, spare ribs lukewarm and soggy, negative all around, not recommended at all.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Baked Potaeto cold and tasteless. Burger not homemade, like from a package in the supermarket - disgusting! Drinks stale, non-carbonated. Toilets dirty, floor sticky. An imposition! But the staff was friendly and accommodating. The store's best days are long gone, the walls are completely scuffed up. Renovation is urgently needed.

Chevys are always an old classic! Food solid, ambience cool and price ok. But without Masha (the world's best waitress) this place is only worth half as much! It's what makes the thing complete! :)

A very nicely designed "as-you-expect" Tex-Mex Diner. The food is cheap, you can tell by the portions, but Nam will definitely be full! Service was okay, a smile wouldn't have hurt. In itself a diner that is okay, but just okay.

I love eating here! Chevys offers an original American ambience and I feel very comfortable in this environment. The burgers (but also the other dishes) taste very good and the selection is quite large. After each visit I am always very satisfied and look forward to the next one :)

I just have to say that it's a typical Ami diner only without the overly large burgers, so I think it's €9 for a normal cheeseburger that's a little bigger than MCes cheeseburgers (yes of course better meat and generally more pleasant preparation with natural ingredients) but I still think it's too expensive

Were in the Chevy on Tuesday May 28th, I'm in the Chevy often and I think it's good. The food is simple deep fry food but not expensive. The atmosphere is cozy. The service (2 women and 1 man) was substandard, unfriendly, not attentive, rude. I would go to the Chevy again but if the service staff is there I would go again.

Disrespectful employees, ordered us a burger menu with fries for 9.70 without drinks included, which was really a disgrace, then my friend asked for mayo, the waitress brought it without saying anything and at the end where we wanted to pay she said that the mayo costs 30 cents. Honestly, you have to say something like that beforehand, especially my girlfriend ordered one and the woman just put 5 pieces on the table and then she wants to discuss it with me omg 😂

Honestly, the worst burger I've ever had in my life. A supermarket Birds Eye-style patty passed off as homemade Tex Mex burger. Surely Germans don't accept this as normal or good?

If you like simple and good things, the Chevy is the right choice. This place is definitely not for a fancy meal. Relaxed atmosphere and good food for average earners. In my opinion it is a good alternative to the expensive restaurant. I've known the Chevy Marburg for over 15 years and it never feels like anything has changed. Neither inside nor on the card. You just know what to expect when you go there and you always get consistent quality. Price performance is absolutely right. However, I would renovate one or two things. Would be really good for the store. Nevertheless, we like to go.

I come here for nostalgia... Always came here with my family as a child. Of course there might be bigger burgers elsewhere but I think the portions are good and in my opinion it definitely tastes good 🤗. The ambience and flair is the absolute main reason to go to the Chevy. In addition, there are not many restaurants that are open until 1:00 a.m. (except snack bars and kebabs).

Always fresh and delicious 😋 and very popular with customers Spare ribs with [Top Secret] BBQ Dip or if you feel like a Chevy Burger also available as an xxl 🍔 and if you're on a dry spell there are soft drinks and beer not only from Germany but also the USA and other delicious menus and Order Sorga by phone and pick it up and enjoy it at home or enjoy it in peace with your family on site. !! Tips from me personally, simple calls and favorite place reserved!!

Were there again after a long time and unfortunately it was more than bad. We had to wait a very long time for the food and when it came after 45 minutes we were so disappointed. The two burgers (club burger and chicken burger) were lukewarm and far dry. The spare ribs were not crispy and lukewarm. The side dishes were also almost cold and you could really taste that they were fried in old fat. But the worst thing is that we sat there with stomach cramps and stomach pains. The waitress explained that it was because they had a huge out-of-house order and that the quality they had hoped for was not there. In our opinion, the quality should remain consistent, no matter how busy there may be.

Super nice service, bad food. The hamburger bun was from the supermarket, the patty was fried to death and bone dry. A homemade sauce would have been nice to compensate. The coleslaw was free, but it wasn't the typical American coleslaw, but an original German supermarket coleslaw. There were no two drinks selected from the menu and the napkins were extremely delicate and there was only a small one for each person with the burger. Fries were okay. The classic Germany diner (lots from the German souvenir shop). If you want to feel like you're in America, take a trip to Hanover to the Blues Garage/Hotel California concert hall

We have been total Chevy fans for many years. The food is super delicious and the people are super nice. However, one point is deducted for the fact that the sauces are no longer served in small glass bowls, but in cardboard, which becomes really disgusting after a short time. Ecologically pretty stupid and quite unappetizing.

Unfortunately there are no delicious Apo R E D burgis on insi mode, but delicious nonetheless

Delicious burgers that are small according to the price. That came as a bit of a surprise. But as I said, the burgers and the price are right, but if you're hungry it's better to order the "Giant". The atmosphere is really cool, but its best years are clearly behind it. All in all, great and always happy!

The facility itself is really nice, enough seats for a large group and a very friendly waitress. But the burgers were small and rather average. You could make it yourself and it would be just as good. The ribs are really good though!

The ambience hasn't changed in the last twenty years. Simply the trademark of Chevy. Unfortunately, in recent years the quality and quantity of food has decreased while prices have increased. As is well known, prices have risen everywhere. Unfortunately, depending on the employee, the service has also deteriorated. So we had to wait 15 minutes until we could order, were no longer asked if we wanted anything else and then had to wait a full 30 minutes for the bill, even though it was late in the evening and not very busy. At breakfast the rolls were still frozen inside... You can eat better elsewhere, but it's the ambience that's incomparable

The ambience is an eye-catcher and really something special! Unfortunately the food wasn't good, the starters/finger food all tasted like frying fat, the burger was put together carelessly and didn't taste like anything. It's a real shame considering how cool the location is!

Go and try: XXL burgers, fries and a Pepsi. Plus a PulpFiciton milkshake. 10/10 It was fully booked, but we got a table before the reservation time, so service 10/10

Essen ist echt Top 👍👍, Service ist sehr freundlich, Wartezeit (auf's Essen) ist nicht zu lange - alles frisch,lecker, gute Portionen.... einfach - alles sehr lecker dort (das weiß ich auch von Freunden und Familie, die dort essen) - es ist für jeden was dabei !!

Sehr Kinder und (trotz Katzenfan wie wir) Hundefreunlich, super nette und angenehme, schnelle, lustig, freundliche Bedienung. Chef am Tresen mit Überblick und Spaß an der Arbeit. Essen war sehr gut, ausreichend und von PreisLeistung hervorragend. So sieht ein gelungener Spontanurlaub von 3 Stunden in Marburg aus.

Bedienung super freundlich, Ausstattung ist einmalig in Marburg und Umgebung,sehr gemütlich und oldschool. Das Fleisch vom Hamburger war okay aber nicht zu vergleichen mit anderen Burger Restaurants.

Wir waren hier schon öfter gegessen und waren immer zufrieden. Die Spare Rips sind hier aufjedenfall ein Muss. Die Burger & der Salat sind auch immer lecker. 1 Stern Abzug leider für die Wartezeit die man hier immer mitbringen muss.

Der Chevy diner Marburg ist das beste,wenn du wieder das Gefühl von den 90-ern haben willst.Parkplätze gibt es Sehr viele,und das Essen war auch einfach nur Super!!Wir (4 Personen) haben 2 Cheeseburger,Hänchenwings,2 Ben&Jerrys Eis,BBQ Ribs und 4 Cola bestellt,und mussten überraschenderweiße nur 72 € bezahlen.Das Erlebnis ist Super,überall 90-er Vibes und der Service ist auch so angezogen.Ist ein Sehr Gutes Erlebnis! :)

Die Atmosphäre versprüht Coolness, ein Hauch von meiner USA-Reise. Das Essen, nun ja, es war in Ordnung, aber nichts, was einem den Atem raubt. Wenn wir ehrlich sind, könnte ich mir genauso gut ein paar Pommes, Mozzarella-Sticks und ähnliches selbst in die Fritteuse schmeißen. Doch hier geht es um mehr als nur die kulinarische Seite – es ist das besondere Feeling, das den Unterschied ausmacht. Das Ambiente schafft eine Art Nostalgie, die mich an vergangene Abenteuer erinnert. Gerade für Kinder ist es definitiv etwas Besonderes, eine kleine Auszeit vom Gewohnten. Und nicht zu vergessen, der Milchshake, der eine wahre Wucht ist, rundet das Erlebnis perfekt ab.

Sehr angenehmer Laden im American Diner Style. Essen wird schnell und heiß serviert, schmeckt super und kommt in einer Auswahl, die nicht zu groß aber auch nicht zu klein ist. Bei den Mengen wird man auf jeden Fall satt und sollte eher aufpassen, dass man sich nicht übernimmt. Dementsprechend sind die Preise also super. Vor Allem die Dips sind klasse. Ganz besonders ist das Team zu loben. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich, kompetent und effizient.

Der Wahnsinn hier, das Ambiente 9 von 10. ( Die Musik könnte noch amerikanischer sein.) Service 10 von 10, es ist etwas vergessen worden, total Service Orientiert gelöst. Danke dafür! Die Chicken Stücke waren mir zu lange in der Fritteuse, dadurch viel zu hart. Cool wäre es noch, wenn die Pommes, Original in den Plastik Schalen serviert werden würde. Der Chicken Burger war leider unspektakulär aber lecker. Der Giant Burger war sehr lecker. Die Spare Ribs waren super zart und lecker gewürzt. Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt hier hinzukommen. Vielen Dank für das Erlebnis. Ein Tisch sollte hier auf jeden Fall vorbestellt werden!

Einfach cool mitten in Marburg American Feelings zu bekommen. Ambiente ist tatsächlich richtig amerikanisch mit Blechschildern,alten Autosofas, original Barhockern usw. Genauso wie das echt gute Essen,das wirklich an Amerika erinnert. Gute übersichtliche Speisekarte. Von mir aus klare Empfehlung auch,weil die Bedienungen nicht nur freundlich sind,sondern auch sichtlich Spaß an der Arbeit haben. Weiter so

American Diner mit entsprechenden Speisen. Burger und Pommes in guter Qualität. Viel teurer als MC Donalds ist es hier auch nicht. Ich mag den Style. Beim Service gibt es gute und weniger gute Erfahrungen aber insgesamt passt alles, man ist hier ja nicht im Nobelrestaurant. Parkplatz ist abends auf dem Schulgelände ausreichend gegeben. Die steile Treppe in den Keller zu den Toiletten ist ein wenig abenteuerlich. Den Laden gibt's schon lange in MR und er bleibt noch hoffentlich lange erhalten.

Vorweg, Service war super. Total liebe Mitarbeiter !! Essen war nicht okay, mein Freund hatte einen Burger der total trocken war. Unsere Pommes waren gefühlt zweimal in der Fritteuse oder im Ofen ( die der anderen Tische sahen wirklich frischer aus :( ) Meine Sparibs waren solala, hatte schon bessere. Empfehlen würden das Diner nicht.

Die Sitzplätze in Weiß und Rot quietschen auf eine fast klischeehafte Weise – probiert mal, mit dem Po darauf auf und ab zu hüpfen, das ist ein Geheimtipp! Das Ambiente erinnert an eine alte Tankstelle in den USA, komplett mit einem Auto, das scheinbar durch die Wand gebrochen ist. Die Bedienung ist mehr als nur nett – ich würde sogar sagen, sie ist mega, nein, gigantisch nett! Oder sind wir schon im Bereich von tera- oder exanett? Findet es heraus und bestellt mit dem Satz: "Der König bestellt..." – sie verstehen Spaß! Das Essen und die Speisekarte harmonieren perfekt mit dem Ambiente. Ihr glaubt mir nicht? Dann überzeugt euch selbst, sucht es auf und entdeckt den größten Schatz der Welt!

Also der Laden ist wirklich schön vom Ambiente. Hier fließt aber offensichtlich auch das Geld hin. Die Burger waren echt nicht gut. Sie erfüllen ungefähr die Qualität von dem Burger, den es in der Mensa gibt. Wenn in einem American Diner Tiefkühlpatties auf einen ungetoasteten und labbrigen Bun gelegt werden, finde ich das einfach nur traurig. Die Sauce war auch eher so okay und langweilig. Die Beilagen waren okay, aber auch nichts besonderes. Genauso wie der Rest des Tellers bestehend aus standard Tiefkühlware.
