Chef Makloub in Karlsruhe

Poor quality, obvious failure to order food, unfriendly.

The doner box was very bad. The taste was bad, the potatoes were bad, and the service was unfriendly.

The food was okay, but there are definitely better places nearby. The staff were incredibly unfriendly. I wanted my yufka cut in half, which has never been a problem at any other restaurant, and they told me to cut it at home. The problem is, the meal was for my brother and me for Iftar, and we weren't going home. Therefore, I really wouldn't recommend it.

Last time there was practically no sauce in the doner kebab, this time the yufka was roasted in the sandwich grill until the salad was cooked through.

Everything is a lie its actually a syrian restaurant have nothing to do with Tunisian food and I don’t even understand why is there pics of Tunisia.. the taste is also more than normal im not going back that’s for sure.

We ate there once, and we liked the place from the start because the service was very friendly and the food was really delicious. Next time we're in Karlsruhe, we know exactly where we'll eat again ☺️

I didn't receive an invoice and they demanded cash payment even though they had a card terminal.

The meat tasted absolutely fantastic. Personally, I found the flatbread either too fluffy or too thick. There was too much bread in relation to the amount of meat. Nevertheless, the meat was excellent.

Fake Tunisian food, overpriced (11,50€ für a kebab when actually ordered a Tunisian makloub) 👎🏽

I wanted a kebab today, but the bread wasn't fresh and had crumbled while I was eating it. There was too little meat—two small slices of tomato and a few rings of onion. Too expensive for so few ingredients. The young man slapped the meat onto the previous customer's kebab with his hands and didn't wash his hands after taking the payment and continued serving.

The ordered dish arrived with the wrong ingredients – despite an earlier request, onion appeared. It's a shame, because we had informed about it in advance. On the plus side: large portions and very efficient service, dishes are delivered to the table quickly. The meat was well-roasted, exactly as I like it. Despite the minor mistake, the overall impression was positive.

Today I visited this very nice restaurant, the chefs were very friendly, smiling and laughing. I enjoyed their service and welcome. The Malfouf was super tasty 😋 and the Makloub was also good, but the dough was thinner than the one I usually eat in Tunisia 🇹🇳. In summary, I really enjoyed this experience and recommend everyone to give it a try.

Best fast food in all of Germany

I have lived in over ten countries on four continents and to this day this is one of my favorite foods I’ve ever had in the world. These guys are making magic, you have to get a makloub here. I am literally writing this from Sydney Australia and missing them.

Delicious Makloub, but take the food with you and leave quickly because the place in front of the shop is completely dirty. Please clean your front door, then you'll get more stars!

The food is really great! Unfortunately, the rest of the clientele that is in front of the shop is quite intimidating... the ambience is therefore not really nice and I would recommend that everyone just take the food with them.

Makloub with escalope (grilled chicken breast) was very tasty. I think the portion was right too. If you now offer chappati then that would be great!

The best fast food i ever had I will eat from this place again and again

The food (chicken kebab) was okay, a normal kebab, good portion size, the prices felt too high but that's the case everywhere now. Ambience - you can't sit down, outside you're standing directly on a busy street that is absolutely deserted and rather eerie late in the evening. Why only 1 star? An attempt was made to defraud us. The two of us were there on the night of January 11th/12th. My buddy paid for his kebab, got change and went out to eat. I then ordered and paid. However, I didn't get the full change, supposedly my friend got €2 too much and I should sort it out with him myself. I didn't take it lying down and called my buddy back in so that he and the seller could sort it out. The salesman shouted at us, accused my friend of taking €2 too much, but gave in in the end. Thank you, not like that. We don't come here anymore and can only advise everyone to always count their change carefully at the checkout.

Simply a well-rounded thing. I went there on the recommendation of a friend and it convinced me. I had a Makloub for the first time in my life. You have to say that it felt like every shop that was in front of it was simply nothing special. So now to the Makloub, it was really tasty and a really good portion. To be honest, instead of a kebab for 8 euros, I would rather pay 10 euros for a Makloub. You should try it in terms of taste, it really caught my fancy. The ambience could obviously be better, but what do you want to get out of such a small shop. So you really have to order a quick snack and move on. Round thing!

Jufka is disgusting, greasy and tasteless. Expensive for a small amount of meat, a piece of tomato, cucumber and lettuce. I do not recommend

Truly the worst falafel I've ever eaten. Falafel were not well fried, the frying fat was smoking (probably too hot and fried for a short time), but the kicker was the lemon with peel in the food! The checkout was done with a dirty sauce glove, unhygienic.

Die leckeren Makloubs vom Chef Kebab esse ich sehr gern seit der Eröffnung des Ladens letztes Jahr. Chef Makloub ist eine Erweiterung vom originalen Laden mit exklusiver Spezialität tunesischer Makloub. Weitere köstliche Makloub Varianten sind jetzt zu genießen, u.a. Makloub Royale mit Fleisch vom Grill. Absolut empfehlenswert!
