Es war unfassbar lecker. Die Garnelen und die Ente haben beide sehr, sehr lecker geschmeckt. Außerdem war unser Hund willkommen und hat sowohl einen Wassernapf, als auch ein Leckerli bekommen. 🤗

Ein ruhiger Ort abseits des Trubels! Mit sehr aufmerksamem und freundlichen Personal! Wir fühlten uns in der authentischen Atmosphäre sehr wohl . Das vegane Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Geburtstag gab es noch eine Überraschung!

Hatte danach Bauchschmerzen und musste mich übergeben. Irgendwas war nicht frisch. Das Ambiente ist auch schon sehr abgeranzt. Die Speisekarte haben geklebt und bei der Bank ging der Stoff schon ab... Der Service war gut. Es gibt wirklich bessere Restaurants.

Es war unser zweiter Besuch, dass Essen war wieder mal richtig lecker und auch die komplett vegane Auswahl finden wir super! Erwähnenswert ist aufjedenfall die sehr humorvolle Bedienung, da füllen wir uns gut aufgehoben :)

Wir haben das Essen bestellt und liefern lassen. War noch schön warm. Wir haben zum ersten mal dort gegessen und waren begeistert! Ich habe noch nie ein sooo gutes, veganes Hänchen gegessen! Wird einer meiner neuen liebsten Foodspots, ich war durchweg begeistert!

Sehr leckeres veganes Essen. Wir waren zu sechst und es hat allen lecker geschmeckt. Unsere Reservierung allerdings war verloren gegangen, so dass wir 10 Minuten warten mussten. Das ging an dem Abend auch anderen so, so dass das Personal ziemlich angestrengt und gestresst war.

Ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Die vegane Ente hat echt nicht besonders geschmeckt und so ne lasche Erdnuss Soße kannte ich bis dahin nicht. Service unfreundlich, Ambiente lieblos, Portionen mittelmäßig und Preis viel zu hoch! Die zwei Sterne auch nur weil in Würzburg überhaupt was veganes zu finden ist. Wer gute vegane Restaurants kennt wird hier enttäuschst sein. Wir sind es :(

Wir hatten jeweils Reis mit Erdnusssauce und einmal mit veganer Enten und einmal mit veganem Hähnchen! Die Ente sah wirklich sehr echt aus! Hähnchen war okay :) aber würde das Restaurant dennoch weiterempfehlen

Sehr leckeres Essen, und alles vegan. Wir konnten sogar was mitnehmen, weil die Portionen so groß waren. Die Dame die uns begrüßt hat, war sehr freundlich zu uns. Die Dame die kassiert hat leider nicht. Vielleicht hatte sie heute keinen guten Tag. Würden trotzdem jederzeit wieder hin!

Freut mich für das „Vegetarian Viet“ für die vielen guten Bewertungen. Mir ist nur unerklärlich, wie diese Zustände kommen. Eine derart unfreundliche bis unverschämte Bedienung ist uns allen noch nicht untergekommen. Sonntag 03.05.2026 um 18:30 Uhr: Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 Personen aufgrund der guten Bewertungen reserviert. Zwei von uns waren aber eine halbe Stunde zu früh dort. Als wir ankamen, saßen unsere Freunde immer noch vor einem leeren Tisch, die Bedienung hatte es – bei leerem Lokal – nicht für nötig gehalten, nachzufragen, ob sie etwas zu trinken bestellen wollen. Als wir die Getränke bestellten und für die Auswahl des Essens noch etwas Zeit brauchten, wurden wir auf das Unverschämteste bestätigt, auch gleich das Essen zu bestellen. Wir beließen es bei den Getränken und verlangten nach diesem Auftritt die Rechnung, unser Geld geben wir lieber in einem gastfreundlichen Lokal aus, was wir dann auch im Shijō in der Pleichertorstraße 30, WÜ fanden. Ich freue mich sehr für „Chay Viet“ und die vielen guten Bewertungen. Ich verstehe allerdings nicht, warum es solche Bewertungen gibt. Am Sonntag, den 3. Mai 2026, um 18:30 Uhr reservierten wir aufgrund der guten Bewertungen für vier Personen. Zwei von uns kamen eine halbe Stunde früher an. Als wir ankamen, saßen unsere Freunde noch an einem leeren Tisch. Die Kellnerin fragte – obwohl das Restaurant leer war – nicht einmal, ob sie Getränke bestellen möchten. Als wir dann Getränke bestellten und etwas Zeit brauchten, um unser Essen auszuwählen, forderte uns die Kellnerin unhöflich auf, das Essen gleichzeitig zu bestellen. Wir bestellten nur die Getränke und baten um die Rechnung. Wir beschlossen, das Geld lieber in einem gastfreundlicheren Restaurant auszugeben: Shijō, Pleichertorstraße 30, WÜ. Läuft es „Chay Viet“ etwa so gut, dass es keine Gäste mehr bedienen muss? ;-)

Unser erstes Mal vegetarisch. Geschmacklich und von der Konsistenz her köstlich. Das Hähnchenfleisch war etwas fad, aber ansonsten habe ich nichts vermisst.

Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Würzburg!! Ich habe hier schon einige Leute mit hingeschleppt. Komplett vegan und geschmacklich absolut lecker! Ich esse jedes Mal die 45. Udonnudeln mit Ente, bestes Gericht. Es gab noch nie Probleme, ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu bekommen, die Bedienungen sind sehr lieb. Ich finde es nicht billig, aber die Gerichte sind den Preis wert.

Das beste vietnamesische Veggie-Essen, das ich jemals probieren durfte! Kann v.a. das Cari (vegane) Huhn mit Reis empfehlen 👍

Wenn ich euch sage, ich habe im Chay Viet nach 5 Jahren regelmäßigem Besuchen, jedes einzelne Gericht von Vor - Hauptspeise und Dessert probiert und kann deswegen mit Sicherheit sagen: Das ist eines der besten Restaurants ÜBERHAUPT! Jedes Gericht war einfach magisch und so lecker und besonders die vegane Ente - ich habe nirgendwo so eine gute vegane Ente gegessen - haut einen um! Und es ist alles vegan, das ist so wunderschön! Danke, dass es euch gibt! Leider bin ich aus Würzburg weggezogen, aber bin so froh, dass ich es geschafft habe, die ganze Speisekarte durchzumachen! Es war purer Genuss!

Das Essen schmeckt super, reichlich Auswahl und wirklich alles sehr lecker. Der Service ist leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir waren zu zwei und wurden empfangen mit „bitte nicht so lange essen“ .. 20 Minuten vergingen, bis wir das erste Mal bedient wurden. Auf das Essen an sich haben wir ca 40 Minuten gewartet. Der absolute Supergau war, dass wir WÄHREND des Essens aufgefordert wurden, an einem anderen Tisch Platz zu nehmen, sodass man unseren zu einem neuen Sechsertisch zusammen schieben und neu besetzen kann. Leider sehr schade, weil die Gerichte wirklich sehr lecker waren, aber die ganzen Umstände den Besuch im Lokal nicht angenehm gestaltet haben.

Wenn jemand das erste Mal in Würzburg ist und ich das Restaurant raussuche ist das hier immer meine erste Wahl. Das Essen ist super lecker, ästhetisch, vegan, was besonderes und das Gemüse immer super knackig und frisch. Es liegt auch nicht schwer im Magen, was sonst oft bei Restaurantessen der Fall ist. Die Portionen sind sehr groß, wir lassen es uns immer einpacken und haben dann noch eine Portion für den nächsten Tag. Am liebsten esse ich die udon nudeln, die vegetarischen frühlingsrollen und die sesam-teriyaki-tofus. Das vegane Ente war nicht hunderptrozentig meins, aber meine Freunde mochten auch das recht gern. Also man muss sich einfach mal durch die karte durchprobieren. :)

Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant alles andere als angenehm. Das Essen war zwar lecker und kam schnell, aber der Service der Kellnerin ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten telefonisch reserviert und gingen daher nicht von einer zeitlichen Begrenzung des Platzes aus. Trotzdem räumte die Kellnerin unseren Tisch nach dem Essen sofort ab, obwohl ich mein Besteck noch nicht einmal auf den Teller gelegt hatte. Danach brachte sie uns nach 45 Minuten sofort ungebeten die Rechnung und erkundigte sich nicht, ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollen. Wir erklärten höflich, dass wir die Rechnung noch nicht wollten, doch sie behauptete, sie hätte danach noch Termine und keine Zeit mehr. Wir blieben sitzen, da unsere Getränke noch halb voll waren. Kaum waren die Gläser leer, wurden sie sofort abgeräumt. Anschließend wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass ein Pärchen auf unseren Tisch warte, und wir wurden gebeten zu gehen. Trotz unserer Reservierung saßen wir nur 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten.

Überall um das Restaurant herum riecht es schon nach "diesem Fett", es wabert durch die molekulare Struktur des Essen, ja sogar jedes Reiskorns. Das Essen ist ultraheiß und Gewürze sind scheinbar ein Fremdwort. Die Ente schmeckt nach nichts und ich habe heute noch Bauchschmerzen. Nie wieder.

Das Essen war übersalzen – die Soßen waren eher geschmacklich unnatürlich und das Gemüse nicht gar. Das vegane Hänchen hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Wir hatten am nächsten Tag noch beide Verdauungsprobleme. Ich verstehe die vielen positiven Rezensionen nicht. Ich habe schon viel besser und v.a. bekömmlicher vietnamesisch gegessen für günstigere Preise. Die Atmosphäre/ Service war eher "kühl". Definitiv keine Empfehlung! Es gibt nur deshalb ein Stern, weil ich es sonst nicht posten könnte....

HALTET EUCH FERN!!! Ich bin Vietnamesin und gebe euch den ehrlichsten Rat meines Lebens. Ich wiederhole: HALTET EUCH FERN! Die Dame, die uns bediente, war extrem unhöflich, als wir darum baten, nicht am Fenster sitzen zu dürfen, um der Kälte zu entgehen. Sie konnte sich nicht einmal normal unterhalten, ohne genervt zu wirken. Sie verdrehte demonstrativ die Augen, als wir nach zusätzlichen Schüsseln zum Teilen fragten. Und ihre Art zu sprechen klang, als würde sie gerade ein schreckliches Ereignis durchmachen, das die ganze Welt mit ihr teilen müsste. Die Namen der Gerichte sind total irreführend. Sie nannten eine seltsame saure Nudelsuppe „Bun Hue“ und die offensichtliche Thai-Currysuppe „Mi Quang“. Und die Toppings und die Brühe für die verschiedenen Nudelgerichte sind praktisch identisch. Das Essen schmeckt nicht einmal annähernd wie die echten Gerichte. Das ist das mit Abstand schlechteste vietnamesische Restaurant, das ich je besucht habe, weltweit, nicht nur in Deutschland. Sparen Sie Ihr Geld und Ihre Energie für besseren Service und besseres Essen in einem Restaurant, wo Sie nicht Ihre Laune verderben und sich lächerlich fühlen!

Dieses Restaurant ist einfach spitze! Alles ist rein vegan und unglaublich lecker. Es ist das beste asiatische vegane Restaurant, das wir jemals besucht haben, und definitiv eine der schönsten kulinarischen Erfahrungen, die wir bisher gemacht haben. Wir waren an Silvester und am 1. Januar dort und wurden jedes Mal herzlich empfangen. Besonders schön: Sie lieben Babys, also keine Sorge, wenn ihr mit Baby und Kinderwagen unterwegs seid. Ein super nettes Familienunternehmen mit ganz viel Herz. Unser absolutes Lieblingsessen waren die gebratenen veganen Shrimps und die gebratene Ente. Die Erdnusssauce war einfach perfekt! Als Vorspeise unbedingt die Nummer 1 bestellen: Seitan-Spieße mit Erdnusssauce. Als Dessert empfiehlt sich die zwei Sesambällchen und das Sesam Eis 😍 Bitte eröffnet ein Restaurant in Frankfurt am Main, wir wären sofort Stammgäste!

Not only a good concept, but executed in a totally delicious way.

The vegan food was really great. Everything was freshly prepared. But the young woman who served me was absolutely unacceptable. Some Asian waitresses in restaurants have a certain charm, but this one takes the cake.

I'm absolutely thrilled with how delicious the vegan dishes are here! The meat and shrimp alternatives have an amazingly realistic texture (almost like the original, just a bit softer), and you can definitely taste the freshness and perfect seasoning. I've been a regular ever since.

Chay Viet Tadilen appeared as a delivery option on Wolt. Initially, I was a little hesitant, as it's a purely vegan Vietnamese restaurant – not usually my first choice. But the reviews on Wolt and Google Maps were good, so I decided to give it a try. For an appetizer, I had the Mini Nem with sauce, which are several small vegan spring rolls, and for my main course, the Udon Xao Vit Chien – udon noodles with vegan duck. Both dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. The packaging was high-quality, and everything arrived without any leaks. The taste of both dishes was truly outstanding. The udon noodles could have used a little more sauce, but it was still perfectly fine. The vegan duck looked surprisingly realistic and did a great job of imitating the skin and meat. You can tell it's a bit softer than real duck, but that wasn't a drawback for me – on the contrary, it was delicious and completely cruelty-free. The packaging was high-quality, and everything arrived without any leaks. I'm really pleasantly surprised. I'm not a strict vegan myself, but I do try vegan options from time to time – and this restaurant cooks really delicious, high-quality food. It's a bit pricey for Vietnamese cuisine, but the quality is outstanding. The delivery time was met, and the food arrived fresh and hot. I have no complaints and will definitely order from them again – or maybe even eat there in person sometime.

The best vegan restaurant I've been to in Würzburg so far. A wide selection of completely vegan dishes. A great concept and consistently top-notch service.

Classic Vietnamese. All veggies, which was cool. Otherwise, the food was pretty good.

Five of us spontaneously went there and just wanted a quick bite to eat. The service was rushed and not particularly friendly or attentive, but the food was really very good. We all enjoyed it immensely, and the portions were generous. The value for money was good for us, but I wouldn't go there if I was looking for a restaurant to spend a pleasant evening. I'd happily go back for dinner anytime.

Very tasty vegan food with many substitutes. The food was delicious; the substitute meat and shrimp were very realistic in texture, but the taste couldn't compare to the original. If you're looking for something like that, this is a good option, but you can also do without it. The food would have been delicious without it. Definitely something you can try.

I was there for dinner two or three weeks ago. The food arrived quickly, was served piping hot, was a generous portion, tasted great, and was completely reasonable in price. I was a little put off by the demeanor of one of the two employees who served me. She wasn't unfriendly, but she seemed unemotional, didn't smile at me at all, and barely made eye contact. Who knows, maybe she was very exhausted or having a bad day. In any case, it didn't significantly impact the experience. I would definitely go back!

A great Vietnamese restaurant for vegans, but also for non-vegans who want to try the alternatives. The quality is outstanding, as is the selection of dishes; the soups in particular are highly recommended. I really enjoyed the lychee spritzer with it. The prices are also in a reasonable range, and the service is friendly.

So delicious, truly the best vegan restaurant in Würzburg. Everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Always happy to go back ❤️

Update 08/2025: second time back in Wurzburg and I love this place. I especially loved the Mi Quang. I’ve been trying to find the same back in Australia or make myself at home! English menu helps a lot as the staff doesn’t speak much English. If you like it really spicy 🌶️ make sure you ask otherwise it’ll be the western level of spice. Good vegan/vegetarian place and friendly service. Nice out door space in the front to eat. Asked to hold the onion but still ended up with some. The dishes I had was good and nothing to complain about.

Welcoming atmosphere, 90% vegan food, with a few vegetarian options. The portions are generous and the options are numerous, including gluten-free options. If you don't speak German, it's difficult to understand, but the staff is always smiling. Recommended if you have a big appetite!

We're vegetarians and found the restaurant online. We walked past the restaurant the first time because we didn't like the look, but then decided to go in anyway. We sat at the back of the restaurant; everything was pretty bland; a bit of decor would have really helped. But the food is amazing! All fresh ingredients, nothing from a can, beautifully presented, really hot, and delicious! The service is also very friendly. And the value for money is excellent.

I am absolutely surprised to be served alot of fresh vegetables, mint leaves, and a moderate portion of special Asian noodle. It was incredibly yummy, like an explosion all of kind of authentic taste from Asia. The price is acceptable, i am definitely coming back There is another Asian restaurant a few feet down heading to Müller, but very expensive and the quality was just nah for the price

I've eaten here several times, and each time the service was really bad. One time, when we waited a little longer for someone, the waiter asked us in a very rude tone whether they were even coming and why we hadn't ordered yet, even though we hadn't even received a menu after waiting 20 minutes. The last time, the waiter wasn't ready, despite repeatedly and politely asking if the door could be closed because it was drafty and cold. Each time, they refused, saying a large group was about to arrive. The group did arrive, but the door ended up being open almost the entire time. The food is okay, but too expensive for what you get. I wouldn't go there again.

The restaurant was highly recommended to me, but unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by the service, ambiance, or food. The vegetables were overcooked for my liking, and the flavor left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, there's no reason for me to return.

So many vegan options! Very cool 😍🙌 The matcha ice cream is amazing! Best ice cream ever! And I actually hate matcha! But this tastes sooo delicious! Awesome!

The service is truly a disaster. The waitress doesn't understand a word, seems rather jaded and unfriendly, and as soon as you ask a question, nothing, absolutely nothing, is understood or answered. She makes ZERO effort to understand; she couldn't care less. After all, it's called "service" in the restaurant industry, which means that at least some form of communication should be possible. In English or German or with Google Translate... whatever... but if a "waiter" couldn't care less whether she understands her guests or not, she should give up on "service" and go to the kitchen instead. There's no need to talk there. So if you lower your expectations of service (even lower than you already have ;)), you could get by here. The prices are anything but cheap, even though they don't serve meat, and the menu is very confusing, chaotic and unstructured. The place itself is... well... functionally furnished. The restrooms are ultra-minimal, but clean. If you don't expect anything here and are just happy about the vegan food, you should get over the visit...I certainly won't be coming back.

The food is really delicious! We each had a soup that I unfortunately didn't manage to photograph, but the tofu in the soup was also absolutely delicious. In my opinion, service could be a little nicer but I can warmly recommend the restaurant and would come back ☺️

I am vegetarian and love Thai cuisine very much☺️ Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the first time - I love it! The menu is large and offers an interesting selection of dishes. You can order a large portion for 15 euros. It's very tasty! You can choose any broth and the side dish is either noodles or rice. I recommend everyone to try it!

The waitress was a very nice Vietnamese lady.. if you ask for spicy, they will make the food spicy which is really good 👍 The summer rolls were my favorite, so unique they put a slice of mango inside the rolls. I am very much appreciating the idea to make it a vegan Asian restaurant, very rare to find. Whole menu is vegan and very tasty.

We didn't want to believe the negative comments about the unfriendly nature. However, we were taught otherwise. The store was completely empty. No hello, nothing… They then wanted to assign us a small table in the corner. When we asked if we could sit somewhere else, the waitress responded with a visibly annoyed eye roll. Dear shop owners, we don't have to give you our money. If customers annoy you then you are in the wrong industry. Too bad...

We were very happy with our visit to this restaurant. The vegan version of the Asian dishes was really good. The vegan chicken was delicious and crispy, and just something different! We had the vegan chicken with rice, vegetables and peanut sauce as well as the udon noodles with vegetables and also vegan chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Our only small criticism would be the homemade iced tea, which was a little too sweet for our taste. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we can recommend this restaurant, especially for fans of vegan Asian dishes. We would like to come back.
