We were there a year ago and had to go back the next time we were in Würzburg and were not disappointed. Everything just fits! The sushi is very tasty and beautifully prepared. The ambience, both outside and inside, invites you to feel good and all at a fair price. We'll be back!

Super pleasant atmosphere outside, because of the greenery and the umbrellas you don't notice much of the Barbarossa Square. The staff is super friendly and both the drinks and the food came really quickly, despite the house being full. The taste is simply great and a fair price, I can only recommend it.

I love best friends, top 1 in Würzburg for the sushi👍🏼 We arrived today and the waiter (a young man with a beard) unfortunately didn't welcome us so politely... unfortunately not the first time. Another waiter took our order and was also super friendly, the gentleman who welcomed us brought our food completely listlessly and “slammed” the plates onto the table for us. What a shame. However, the other waiter was really nice and also accommodated our request to sit us at another (larger) table😃 thank you for that

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, food is quite okay.

The sushi is amazing and they have lots for vegetarians. We tried spinach + peanut butter maki (!) for the first time and it was perfect. Their crunchy rolls with orange sauce were unreal and I wish I lived in Würzburg so I could eat here every day 😭 💛

The food was super tasty and the price/performance ratio couldn't be beat. You can get large portions here for little money. The outside area impressed us because of the many trees, bushes and umbrellas, it is super beautiful 🤩

This waiter with a beard who barely speaks German is very cheeky and completely rude. I come out to eat after a long day at work and I'm so pissed off...

Not great. The service was bad, tables dirty - not cleaned, menus dirty and very busy, sitting very cramped (and uncomfortable) like in the chicken coop, the waiter had black dirt under his fingernails (dirty clothes too...), unable to communicate or no one wants the service (probably a language problem...), the sushi was just about mediocre. The spring rolls were dark brown (almost black...). Conclusion: Anyone who thinks this is great will be thrilled when they get to eat really good sushi ;))

We had Pho soup with beef or chicken, the meat was both well marinated, the soup had everything you would expect, we only had to season the broth with soy and chili sauce, which wasn't a problem. When it comes to cleanliness, the operator should pay attention to the fact that the grooved surface of the tables makes cleaning difficult; ours was a bit sticky. The sauces were also already dried out at the top. And when it comes to music, it's strange when different songs come out of the speakers. But we'll be back.

Absolutely disappointing. The sushi with long grain rice, the weird soy sauce and the summer rolls taste like nothing. The employee was friendly. Not a second time for us.

Had a Pho soup. The broth was good but unfortunately the soup came without Thai basil. In my opinion the most important thing in the soup... coriander was available upon request We would have liked to sit in the back of the outside area. Unfortunately we weren't allowed :(

We come very often because of the delicious food and it is really good! The sushi and curry are highly recommended. The service is okay and the ambience is very loud due to the location.

The food, the atmosphere were okay, not bad at all, but not special either. However, some of the service staff could be more competent and socially capable. Twice on two different visits, one waiter gave me the worst attitude as if he were my insecure girlfriend and didn't even communicate what was bothering him. Instead he sent his colleague to us and made up a story that never happened??? Another time we had reserved a table one evening, we hadn't even finished our meal when the next customers seemed to have already arrived and the table can only be reserved for 2 hours; Of course this was NOT communicated when we made the reservation, we ate and sat there... I actually had nice associations with the store because I like going there with my best friends, but honestly never again. I work in service myself and know it from the other perspective, a bit of social skills are required.... If you can't deal with people then you urgently need to question your career choice. Sure, anyone can have a bad day, but taking it out on other people is definitely not justified!

Unfortunately, the service and food did not meet our expectations. The rice (combination of basmati and presumably sushi rice) that was used for the sushi was unfortunately very dry and tasted as if it had been lying open in the kitchen for a long time. When we asked, we were told that this was normal and that no one else had complained all day. Since we only tasted one roll to convince ourselves of the lack of quality, we only wanted to pay for one roll. The criticism was not handled well and there was no accommodation regarding the bill. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. If you're expecting classic, high-quality, good sushi, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here.

Very tasty food and inexpensive!

We were greeted by a disrespectful and unpleasant smelling waiter (Bart). The ambience is very nice, but the food is completely disappointing. We ordered a maki mix plate which wasn't very fresh, very dry, the salmon smelled very old. The sushi is definitely not fresh!! On the way to the toilet we saw in the half-open kitchen that these were pre-rolled en masse in plastic containers. The chicken skewers had a strange consistency and when we asked to return them if we could, we were rudely turned away. The main courses arrive with very bad rice. The dishes included 2 small pieces of pepper, 4 slices of carrot and 2 small pieces of zucchini, the whole thing was completed with a fat portion of salad. We were literally happy about a piece of broccoli. We also wondered whether the vegetable cutter in the kitchen had a problem with his fine motor skills, as the pieces were abnormally large and cut carelessly. Long story short: no recommendation!! Price-performance is absolutely not right.

Hey! This is such a great restaurant, spacious outdoor seating and very cozy place to dine in. We came in during lunch time and while it was crowded, we did not wait too long for our food. Such a good deal for only 12 euro, we got giant salmon with glass noodle. Extremely worth it for the price! Salmon was cooked perfectly and tender as well. We had nothing bad to complain. The food is superb, and we had a great time here.

It was half a hop away, so I stopped by on my way to catch the train. The quantity was good and delicious!

The food is bland and not seasoned, unfortunately curry is not an authentic dish. It doesn't taste really good, but the duck breast is crispy and roasted. The best thing about the entire restaurant is the service (friendly, quick, very polite) and the ambience prices are okay

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews here. The only star that can be awarded above the minimum star is for the service, which was okay. Unfortunately the food was nothing. Simple fried noodles with chicken. I get this better and cheaper in every noodle box to go. Pasta partly bland or bitter taste, chicken totally dry. The vegetarian sushi was just as bad. Sorry, we won't be coming anymore

A must visit! ♥️ We've been wanting to visit Best Friend's for a while, and we finally made it in May of this year. And it was totally worth the anticipation!! ♥️♥️ All dishes were delicious and served quickly! The sweet potato fries were perfectly sweet-salty and crispy! My personal highlight were the kimchi and the Vietnamese pickles on the Bao Beef Burger! The beef patty on the burger was also fantastic, really juicy and not dry! I can really recommend this dish to everyone, it's best to ask the waitress for siracha, it goes great with it too! 😉 The mango salad and the chicken with rice are also highly recommended! The chicken was juicy and crispy, just as it should be, and the salad was very refreshing! Plus, the decor was beautiful, both indoor and outdoor! Thanks also to the friendly waitress, who was so understanding that it took me forever to decide what I wanted to eat. Everything looked so delicious, I had a hard time deciding! 😅 A little tip for visitors: It's best to browse the menu online beforehand! 😂👍🏻 We would like to come back and try the sushi, which is always freshly prepared, and are also looking forward to the mango panacotta! 😉♥️

Sushi and warm dishes are very fresh and unusual. You get dishes here that are not everyday and the quality is right. Unfortunately it's quite squeezed in some corners

The wrong food was delivered and the lady on the phone couldn't even say sorry or anything. Not even the sweet potato fries were halfway edible. Really disgusting.

We visited the restaurant for the first time and were disappointed. The cocktail was almost entirely ice, and you could barely taste the alcohol. We had to wait way too long for the waiter and ended up paying at the bar as the waiter again didn't come on time. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing and we do not plan to return.

The four of us had a wonderful lunch break there. The food was very good and the service impeccable. We will be back!

Best Friends never disappoints. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly, polite staff. I usually always get Sushi but this time I decided to get something different. As an appetizer I had the Gyoza. Then I took the n.42 Golden Duck which was very good but in my opinion they could have put more vegetables. My friend got the #33 Pho Bo. To drink I had a homemade Raspberry Lemonade.

Food was very tasty. The soup would have easily been enough for 4 people. Never had such a huge soup.😅

Super nice service and delicious food

The sushi rice was hard and the fish dried out and didn't seem fresh. The Bao Burger was also unconvincing. But actually it's nice to sit outside.

We are three best girl friends and go to this restaurant once a month. We just feel so comfortable and appreciate everything this place has to offer so much that no other store can compete. The people in service are extremely friendly and attentive. The food comes quickly and is fresh and so delicious. Every extra wish is fulfilled. The desserts are terrific and the drinks are exceptional. The shop looks very nice and we have great evenings there. See you next time.

We were there today, a really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere! The food came quickly and was very good too. You can notice the freshness of the ingredients, which is why it is absolutely recommended. Very positive, very courteous waiter

We went in and were seated and given menues. Quite quickly we were asked for drink orders and I asked if we could order food now too. The waiter indicated someone else would come for a food order, and our drinks came quickly. We waited another 25 mins to place a food order and after 30 mins more and watching others who came after us order and receive food, we asked for our bill. I said to the waiter at that time that as we didn’t receive food we only wanted to pay for drinks. He told us he had ordered food and shrugged. I gestured across our table and asked where it was? I advise foreigners to avoid this place. Oddly unfriendly to foreigners. My friend is 91 and I am a companion. We aren’t troublesome and neither of us have been refused service in our lives until now.

Small, cramped restaurant but delicious food and friendly service

A very strange visit. We were there around 10 p.m. and were told that the kitchen was still open and that we could eat something. So we assumed that the restaurant would still be open for a while. At around 10:45 p.m., while we were still eating, people started putting up the benches around us and we were met with angry and annoyed looks. I can understand that you want to call it a day at some point, but that's definitely not how you treat guests and in such a case you would have to communicate more clearly with us. The food was very tasty, but the rest was unfortunately a failure! Several people were disappointed here: us, because we were more or less thrown out, and Shakira, because she simply had to fall silent in the middle of the song while singing "Hips Don't Lie."

Food was very tasty and high quality. The service was quick and friendly. The benches had no backrests, which is why a star was deducted, but otherwise the ambience was good.

At least the lunch specials are a recommendation. Tasty, fresh vegetables and a portion to fill you up.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Würzburg with a great atmosphere!!

I've visited this modern Vietnamese restaurant three times now. The first two visits, which were on the weekend, were fantastic. However, my third visit, on a weekday, left much to be desired. The service was lacking with limited options, and it felt rushed as they seemed eager to close early. Unfortunately, the food quality suffered on that day. Despite this, I still highly recommend trying their baos and sushi, which were exceptional during my initial visits.

The best sushi in town!!! The food is also served very nicely. The employees are always friendly and in a good mood. Unfortunately, the aisles and the distances between the tables are very narrow and it seems depressing. But the food makes up for it. So far I haven't had a single stomach ache etc. had after dinner. And I'm there at least once a week. I can recommend the hot rolls. These are served with a homemade cocktail sauce. Simply delicious.

We stumbled across Best Friends on a short trip to Würzburg and went there three times because we liked it so much! Lots of starters, very fresh and high quality. From summer rolls to wonton soup, sesame balls, banana pudding or even the curry, are highly recommended 🫶 And the hisbiscus tea on ice, my absolute favorite 😍 Service very friendly, relaxed. Here you can not only experience Far Eastern hospitality...no, you can taste it here too. Great service, nice staff, very good and extensive range of food and drinks. We ordered online today as an exception and are very satisfied. Quality as on site...well, unfortunately there was a bit of packaging involved. But you can still use it. Update. The quality has not deteriorated even after over a year. Top. The prices are also absolutely OK.

Very good restaurant, fast delivery

Delivery was quick but very disappointing. The sauce had leaked out and spread all over the bag and dripped all over my apartment. Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty either. The duck meat was tough and chewed like chewing gum. The chicken had tons of cartilage and wasn't cooked properly in some places. We won't be ordering here again.

The food was very tasty! It was very loud and everyone was sitting very close together. But what bothered us the most was that we felt very uncomfortable towards the end. After we had just finished our meal, we were made to understand that we no longer had any business there. It felt like every 2 minutes a waitress came to the table and asked if we wanted anything else (our glasses were still half full). We were indirectly put under pressure to make room for upcoming guests. I understand that it's all about profit, but we were there for less than an hour, had something to celebrate and wanted to chat for another half an hour...completely ruined the atmosphere, what a shame!

It's a Pan Asia Vietnamese restaurant and the Vietnamese food was delicious. Sommerroll is big and you can enjoy it even more if you ask for more hoisin sauce. I think I will visit again

Food is absolutely delightful.. We didn't wait long for our food. The atmosphere was nice, though the music wasn't what I thought it would have been. A restaurant that specializes in a special cuisine, the music should also match culture. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Why 3 stars? On the positive side, the food was very nicely prepared and came to the table very quickly. The menu we chose was also very interesting in terms of price. The rice was too soft for our taste. But it doesn't have to be that way for everyone and tastes are of course different. The interior of the restaurant is different. It's actually quite nice, but there were some old guide folders at the entrance🧐which spoils the entrance image a bit.

We were there for dinner on February 4, 2024. We each had a starter, main course and shared a dessert. Everyone had a drink and in the end it was less than €60. Considering it was so inexpensive, they definitely didn't skimp on the quality of the food. We were really very full and absolutely satisfied. The service was on point and absolutely friendly. Two small points of criticism, for which I don't want to make any deductions, are that it's a bit cramped... you basically sit table to table and have to listen to the conversations at the next table - whether you want to or not - and the second negative point is that the main course came while I was still busy with the starter. Here you should make sure that you give the guest enough time to eat. Otherwise the evening was really successful. The ambience is also really great, making you feel like you are in another country.

Despite almost maximum capacity on a Sunday evening, the team seemed well organized and we received very friendly service. Food was great and arrived at the table really quickly. Big praise to all employees, clear recommendation!

So unfortunately not good. I have a lot of experience with Asian food in Würzburg. Starter summer roll with shrimps. Arrangement very unusual. Two summer rolls cut into four different sizes. Open on all sides so that almost everything falls out. Service was nice and polite. Sushi was bad. Arrangement not nice. Sushi rice partly not cooked and still hard. Unfortunately not again. Every other sushi shop in Würzburg is better. Even the sumo sushi is better. Then next time it would be better to go to kham or nushu.

Awesome food, fast service, best Asian food I have had so far after moving to Germany

Essen war lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind in Ordnung für das, was man bekommt. Ich war unter der Woche da, es war sehr voll entsprechend war die Geräuschkulisse sehr hoch. Dennoch ist das ganze einen Besuch wert.

Sehr gutes Sushi zu gerechten Preisen. Der Laden selbst etwas chaotisch da alles enger geordnet ist. Aber dennoch ein nettes Ambiente, wenn auch bei vollem Laden recht laut. Die Bedienung war nicht so gut zu verstehen und teilweise gab es Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten bei der Bestellung sowie bei der Entgegennahme der Gerichte. Das kann aber auch an der Akustik geschuldet sein. Die Tische waren leicht klebrig. Die Sommerroles (Glasnudeln in Reispapier) waren leider nicht sehr fest gerollt, weswegen uns die dann beim Essen auseinander gefallen sind. Im großen Ganzen hatte aber das Essen einen sehr hohen Qualitätsstandard und war geschmacklich wirklich weit vorne im Vergleich anderer Sushi Etablissements.

Super leckeres asiatisches Essen. Die Preise für das Sushi sind etwas höher aber vollkommen gerechtfertigt, da es sehr frisch und intensiv schmeckt. Die Limos sind super frisch und lecker und sehen gut aus, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir wurden schnell und sehr freundlich bedient und mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten, obwohl es schon nachmittags gut voll war. Für abends sollte man auf jeden Fall reservieren. Die eher traditionellen Sitzgelegenheiten sind cool, aber machen es leider auch sehr eng im Winter. Wenn die Nachbartische besetzt sind, wird es schwer vernünftig aufzustehen. Der Weg zur Toilette ist abenteuerlich, hier sollte wenigstens etwas aufgeräumt werden. Wegen dem sehr leckeren Essen werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Haben uns Sushi bestellt für ca 80€. Essen war echt super lecker und auch vom Preis akzeptabel, leider kam der Auslieferer mit nur 4€ Wechselgeld (Laut seinen Aussagen), was beim ausliefern von Essen in der Preis Ordnung einfach nicht geht. Wir hatten leider auch nur einen 100€ Schein und so hat er sich 15€ Trinkgeld geschnappt und ist mit einem kleinen ciao wieder abgehauen ohne ein Danke oder sorry...

Super Service die sind alle sehr nett und sympathisch, bringen die Bestellung in 3-4 min. Und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut:)
