Chateau Naumburg in Naumburg (Saale)

A very well-kept restaurant, the staff is super friendly. We moved in spontaneously with 17 people, and the space was made by moving chairs and tables, all without any rush. All the food is delicious and plentiful. I, or rather, we, can highly recommend it.🤩

Whenever I'm in Naumburg, I stop by the office, and I've always enjoyed it. A very nice restaurant in the heart of Naumburg. Good food, a wide selection of drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. Hospitality is a top priority here. As a guest, you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly and attentive. A visit is definitely worth it. Come in and enjoy yourself from the first minute to the last. Rating: Highly recommended.

We chose the restaurant for our class reunion and it was the right choice! The owners welcomed us in a friendly manner and the staff looked after us attentively and carefully. The food was very tasty, all in all a successful evening. Gladly again!

A good guesthouse near the center - but nothing special. When you enter the guesthouse, you come into a narrow, elongated guest room with a rustic, walnut-colored counter and tables and chairs. It's a matter of taste, but to me it seemed dark and cramped. The rooms are clean and relatively newly renovated, with simple beds, mattresses, furniture and a cheap mini TV. Overall, simple standard, but okay. However, our laminate flooring creaked a lot. In addition, there were only wafer-thin summer duvets available. A little more quality and thickness would have been nice here. In the bathroom with shower there was a hairdryer and hand soap. However, there was no hook for the towel in the sink area. The small courtyard that leads to rooms 6-8 would actually be quite nice if it had a comfortable seating area for room guests and wasn't so cluttered. (For example, there was a discarded refrigerator there under the parasol. The breakfast for 12 euros per person was praised online as "sensational", so we were excited. But there was nothing extraordinary about it. It was rather okay. Salami, cheese, liver sausage, boiled eggs. Cream cheese, yoghurt, jam (filled in small jars) - all apparently cheap supermarket goods. Also some muesli, some sliced ​​fruit and baked rolls. If you expect a "sensational" good breakfast based on some reviews (e.g. with salmon or scrambled eggs or various salads, such as meat salad, fish salad, etc., or quark/cream cheese with fresh herbs, etc.), you won't get your money's worth here. For my part, I didn't feel very comfortable and would choose a hotel next time. But if you don't want to/can't spend more than €100 with breakfast, you'll find decent accommodation here.
