Had 1/2 chicken with fattoush salad and lentil soup. The 1/2 chicken was a bit over salted and dry, not as juicy as you would expect. It's a shame, I wouldn't order the dish again. Unfortunately, the Fattoush salad wasn't very tasty either, as it wasn't seasoned with fresh mint, lemon juice or pomegranate syrup. That's what makes a real fattoush so delicious. My salad consisted of tomato, cucumber, parsley and toasted bread. Without dressing such as salt and pepper. I gave it 2 stars because overall it wasn't well prepared but it was fresh. The lentil soup was delicious. A classic with a curry note.

No napkin at the table, flies in the restaurant, several unconnected bundles of cables on the walls. The food gets 2 out of 5 stars because it was too dry. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!i

Have to wait 1 and a half hours for my food

I don't know where to start... When we came in we had to wait 15 minutes for a waitress to push the tables together because we were there in a group of 8 people. Up to this point everything is still partly acceptable. When we were able to sit down, it seemed to us that it was colder inside than outside and after asking the staff several times to turn on the heating, they just ostentatiously said it was already on. Too bad we were sitting right next to a heater...which, by the way, was ice cold. After the food was served and we had almost finished eating, one of the employees came and told us that we should leave because there were still people waiting outside who also wanted to sit. With food in our mouths we finally went to the checkout and wanted to pay. To our great positive surprise, we only paid €70 instead of €110. So they are not able to do math either. Because 2 grill plates, 2 crispy plates, 1 falafel plate, 2 shawarma plates, 1 shish tawouk plate, 2x grape leaves, and 9 drinks are, I think, more than 70€... But that's not our problem. We tried the store and learned not to visit it again.

Nothing special. The restaurant could be more clean. The floor was sticky and wet. The chair covers were really dirty and looked like they were never washed. We ordered peppermint tea, but the wrong tea was brought, and then we were told that the tea we had ordered wasn't available. (Could have been informed when ordering😕) The food was okay, but because there was music playing all the time and people talking, the store was very loud.

Great Arab food, best charcoal grilled chicken in cologne by far, a very wide menu and a very nice terrace in the back..we didn't have to sit in Kalkar Straße directly.. instead we sat inside and Food-Price-Quality is like a perfect love triangle there... highly recommend.. unfortunately I forgot to take pictures as we finished the food in a minute😋 but check it out.. also available on Lieferando but the restaurant is really worth the visit.Tip: try Charcoal grilled Kibbeh😋

I recently ordered food and was thoroughly impressed. The kebab was impeccably cooked, tender and perfectly seasoned. The delivery service was exceptional; the driver was incredibly friendly and punctual. It's obvious that the food was prepared with care and love. Today I got an incredibly bad kebab with supposedly veal to take away, ate it and was annoyed about it all day. The kebab definitely tasted like fish. The ingredients are all a bit old and everything is almost cold. The pricing is very unclear. The staff was only moderately friendly and the store seemed very untidy and unclean somehow. This review is not the only one with a star - many guests have already complained. There must be something to it. In any case, I was incredibly disappointed and didn't want to let it go like that.

Had it delivered twice and both times the food was thrown away. Food completely cold (restaurant is about 500m away lol), fries were cold and some were still raw and not seasoned. I was there between deliveries to pick up something for myself. Here the shawarma roll was perfect, but even though I took the food straight away, the fries were again cold and not properly fried and again not seasoned. The restaurant also looks like a warehouse, but well, I won't go there anymore anyway.

The tabbouleh was beyond description, very good and it came first thing that made us encouraged, but unfortunately we were shocked by the rest of the food, the kebab containing small pieces of bone. It looks like the meat is grinding the lamb as it is, and the wings are well seasoned, but not well done, and the Arabic shawarma is somewhat good, but there is something bitter in it. السلام عليكم جميعاً ، تجربتي مع مطعم شام في مدينة كولن كالك هاوب شراسيه بتاريخ 02.01.2024. وصيت على ٦ وجبات شاورما بالصحن السعر 95 يورو . لاحظت انو الجميع لم يكملوا نصف الوجبه 😁ليش ،؟!! اللحمه ناشفه ولها ريحه غريبه ..الصوص ليس له أي طعم،،باهت" والأغرب انو بعد الاكل الكل شعر بعدم ارتياح ومغص في البطن وصل لدرجة الاسهال .....سؤالي : اذا حدا صار مع هيك شي ارجو الكتابه شكراً...

Ich habe das Restaurant mehr als einmal besucht, das Essen ist gut und die Preise sind angemessen

Leider absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Das Essen wurde erst nach 70 Minuten geliefert und war komplett kalt. Das Hähnchen war geschmacklos, die Konsistenz zäh und einige Teile sogar schwarz. Sauce viel zu sauer, die Pommes überhaupt nicht knusprig sondern total aufgeweicht und ebenfalls relativ geschmacklos und der "Salat" eine Frechheit.

Ich tue mich schwer mit der Bewertung. Ich habe hier schon sehr gut gegessen aber war auch schon enttäuscht. Die Schawarma sind immer gut. Der Grillteller ist, wenn man bestellt, leider immer eine Überraschung. Mal bekommt man Knoblauchsauce, mal nicht, mal fehlt das Brot, mal nicht. Gurken stehen auf der Karte aber kommen trotz Anmerkung dass man sie unbedingt haben möchte nie. Die halben Hähnchen waren eine Katastrophe. Geschmacklich kann man aber nichts beanstanden.

Alle Achtung dass ihr so weit gefahren seid. Wir haben es gar nicht so wahrgenommen, dass ihr so weit weg seid.🤷🏼‍♀️ Aber das Warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Es hat super hammer geschmeckt. Euch kommen ich gerne so mal besuchen. Vielen Dank ☺️

Sehr lecker und (sauber) ich habe ne in mein leben so lecker grill in einem Restaurant gegessen habe lammspieß und gegrillte Fisch und Kebab probiert war alles so perfekt wie ist Sein sollte Personal sind auch höflich und nett Sehr gerne wieder wenn ich in Köln bin

Schwarmateller geliefert bekommen, war leider ungenießbar. Das Fleisch war extrem fettig und hatte kaum Geschmack, der hummus war unfassbar sauer und die Pommes 0 gewürzt. Hier bestelle ich nicht nochmal.

Falsche Bestellung ist angekommen. Zweimal das falsche. Auf meinen Anruf wurde gesagt, dass wir das falsche bestellt hätten. Derjenige am Telefon sprach kein gutes Deutsch und es war laut im Hintergrund. Als Ausrede daraufhin wurde gesagt der Weg ist nun zu weit um die richtige Bestellung vorbeizubringen. Sehr dreist!

Ich hab mir heut einen Dönerteller geholt 12 € zum mitnemen. schmekte gut bis auf das fleisch fürs auge gut hergerichtet. nach 3 stunden kam alles wieder raus hinten wie vorne...vermute das fleisch was so komisch schmeckte.ich werde nur noch da hin gehen wenn ich verstopfung hab da das essen ein gutes abfürmittel ist. personal ist normal tut seinen job , der koch macht den teller ansprechend das man lust aufs essen bekommt. auffalend beim betreten des restaurans ist der getränkekülschrank der auf der teke steht scharfe kanten laden zu verletzungen ein ebenso die mikrowenlle auf der glasteke das hätte meine BG mir um die ohren gehauen.

Service ist top Aber das Essen letzte Zeiten schmeckt leider nicht wie am Anfang besonders schaurma schmeckt nicht mehr so gut kommt so hart und kalt und Reis 🍚 ist trocken Aber das Rest ist alles Super 😉

Obwohl auf Webseite PayPal als Zahlungsmittel angeboten wird, wurde es vor Ort verweigert. Da ich die Geldbörse vergessen und ein wenig dadurch in Not war habe ich auf der Homepage bestellt zur Abholung. Zum Dank durfte ich nicht im Restaurant essen, müsste es mir auf einem Parkpoller davor "bequem" machen. Die Tabouleh war fad und langweilig, die Falafel ok. Laden sieht mich nicht wieder, syrische Gastfreundschaft und deutsches"Servicedenken" für mich keine gute Kombi.

Meine Erfahrung mit diesem Restaurant war äußerst enttäuschend. Ich hatte mein Essen um 18:15 Uhr bestellt und wurde stattdessen über 90 Minuten lang hingehalten. Als ich um 19:35 Uhr anrief, um nachzufragen, wo meine Bestellung bleibt, erhielt ich widersprüchliche Aussagen von verschiedenen Mitarbeitern. Zuerst hieß es, der Fahrer sei in 5 Minuten da, dann in 3 Minuten, und schließlich sagte der Chef, dass das Essen gleich eintreffen würde. (und das über eine Zeitspanne von 20 Minuten und Drei Telefonaten). Die schlechte Kommunikation und das Versprechen, das nicht eingehalten wurde, waren inakzeptabel. Hinzu kam, dass die Sprachbarriere mit den Mitarbeitern die Situation nur verschlimmerte. Bei einer Entfernung von lediglich 30 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder 20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Porz ist es unverständlich, warum ich derart lange auf meine Bestellung warten musste. Diese Erfahrung hat mich davon abgehalten, jemals wieder bei diesem Restaurant zu bestellen. Ganz davon abgesehen ist es nicht das erste Mal dass ich dermaßen lange warten musste, bis meine Bestellung antrifft. NIE WIEDER

Eten trekt op niets, smaakt bedorven en de gehakt is slijmerig. Heel de dag nog met een misselijk geweest van het eten.

Ich war dort 4 mal essen und ich habe 4 mal Durchfall bekommen und zudem 4 mal verschiedene Preise für das selbe Gericht bezahlt. Den Rest kann man sich denken. Einfach ekelhaft und Hygiene gleich null. Ich werde das Gesundheitsamt demnächst darauf aufmerksam machen.
