Das ist das beste thailändische Restaurant, in dem ich je war. Das Essen ist superfrisch, perfekt gewürzt und die Auswahl an thailändischen Gerichten ist riesig. Das Restaurant ist außerdem sehr schön eingerichtet und die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich. Ich kann Chada Thai wärmstens empfehlen!

Wir haben schon viele wunderbare Orte erlebt – aber Thailand hat einen ganz besonderen Platz in unseren Herzen. Umso skeptischer waren wir, ob ein Restaurant in Deutschland dieses Gefühl überhaupt einfangen kann. Das Chada Thai hat uns eines Besseren belehrt. Vom ersten Bissen an waren wir gedanklich wieder in Thailand. Die Aromen, die Gewürze, die Frische und die Liebe zum Detail – alles fühlte sich so authentisch an, dass wir für einen Moment vergessen haben, dass wir mitten in Freiburg sitzen. Wir haben uns angesehen, gelächelt und uns immer wieder an unsere gemeinsamen Reisen erinnert. Es mag für manche übertrieben klingen, aber uns hat dieses Essen tief berührt. Es war nicht einfach nur unglaublich lecker – es hat Erinnerungen, Sehnsucht und Glück ausgelöst. Für einen kurzen Moment durften wir dem Alltag entfliehen und zurück an einen Ort reisen, der uns beiden so viel bedeutet. Danke für dieses außergewöhnliche kulinarische Erlebnis. Danke für die Leidenschaft, die in jedem Gericht steckt. Und danke dafür, dass ihr uns nicht nur satt gemacht habt, sondern uns für einen Abend das Gefühl geschenkt habt, wieder in Thailand zu sein. Wir kommen wieder. Nicht nur wegen des Essens – sondern wegen dieses Gefühls.

Wir haben unseren Besuch im Chada Thai Restaurant sehr genossen. Das Personal war freundlich (und es war ein Pluspunkt, dass sie Englisch sprachen). Wir mussten überhaupt nicht lange warten, und das Essen war köstlich und die Portionen großzügig! Es gab eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten, was uns sehr gefreut hat.

Kein Wunder, dass so viele einen Platz - vor allem im Freien - suchen. Das Essen hier ist reiner Genuss, vor allem das Menü für mehrere Personen ist zu empfehlen - das Dessert war allerdings nicht so überzeugend.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Freiburg. Freundliche Bedienung und fuer mich auch vegane Optionen auf der Karte. Das Essen hat toll geschmeckt! Bei meinem nächsten Besuch komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder hierher.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und gutes Essen. Das Personal war ziemlich beschäftigt mit der Betreuung der Gäste im Restaurant und beim Abholen, aber trotz allem waren alle nett und freundlich.

Wunderschönes , gemütliches Ambiente. Sehr netter und freundlicher Service. Essen war sehr,sehr lecker und auch reichlich. Hatte einen Meeresfrüchteteller mit Riesengarnelen, Lachs, Muscheln und Oktopus mit Reis und Gemüse. Vorspeise gegrillte Garnelen und Frühlingsrollen.

Das Essen ist gut, wenn man thailändisches Essen mag. Die Bestellungen kommen schnell und bei Abholung dauert es etwa 20 Minuten, was gut ist. Einziger Nachteil: Sie liefern nicht über Liefer-Apps, aber man kann ja nicht alles haben. Parkplätze sind ausreichend. Als ich dort war, gab es direkt vor dem Restaurant welche, die aber wahrscheinlich schon belegt waren. Eine Straße weiter findet man dann noch einen Parkplatz.

Ein Essen kam 20 min später als das erste und wurde dann noch zum falschen Gast gebracht. Nachdem das dort 5 min stand, wurde es (ohne Angebot, es neu zu machen, da bereits beim Gast) ohne Entschuldigung serviert. Essen war dann leider kalt und Fleisch schon zäh.

Service fllott und freundlich. Soweit das Positve. Wir hatten 4 verschiedenen Essen inklusive Vorspeisen. Insgesamt enttäuschend. Vorspeisen waren durchweg frittiert - was nicht dabei stand. Hauptgerichte waren alle fade. Keinerlei Geschmackserlebniisse welche irgendwie an Asien erinnern.

Ich hatte keine Erwartungen an die vegetarisch/vegane Ente, aber ich muss gestehen, diese ist der Hammer! Ich war lange nicht mehr so positiv überrascht. Das Ambiente ist schön, modern und trotzdem sehr passend zur Küche. Trotz des Umstands, dass wir spontan da waren und ein sehr reger Betrieb herrschte, wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Wir mussten nicht mal lange auf das Essen warten. Insgesamt wirklich toll. Kommen beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder.

Ein toller Ort mit vielen authentischen thailändischen Dekorationen und wunderschönen Blumen auf der Terrasse… der Service war etwas ungeschickt und hat für einen Freund mit schweren Allergien die falsche Bestellung aufgenommen, aber am Ende wurde das Problem gelöst. Das thailändische Essen war köstlich, ich freue mich schon darauf, die andere Filiale für Nudelsuppen auszuprobieren!

Gutes Essen, toller Service aber es war laut und ungemütlich voll. Scheint sehr beliebt zu sein.

Ich hatte Essen zum Abholen bestellt. Man sagte mir, es sei in 30-40 Minuten fertig, also war ich 40 Minuten nach Bestellung da. Ich habe dann noch weitere 25 Minuten vor Ort gewartet, bis man mir eine Tüte in die Hand drückte, die da schon stand als ich gekommen bin. Auf meinen Hinweis, das Essen stehe schon länger dort, sagte man mir das stimme nicht und es sei ganz frisch. Auf dem Beleg stand genau die Uhrzeit, wann das Essen fertig war und das war genau der Zeitpunkt als ich den Laden betrat. Sowas kann natürlich mal passieren, aber dass man mich anlügt statt sich zu entschuldigen, ist nicht die feine Art. Das Essen war total latschig, weil es natürlich zu lange in der Box war.

Dieser Ort ist definitiv ein Geheimtipp, der auch von Einheimischen geschätzt wird. Ich empfehle Ihnen dringend, zu reservieren. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen einen Platz im großen Restaurant, hatten aber aufgrund der Reservierung nur wenig Zeit. Das Essen war wirklich köstlich. Die Bedienung war herzlich und zuvorkommend, und das Essen war einfach himmlisch. Vielen Dank!

Wir haben zum Geburtstag frühzeitig auf 20:15 Uhr reserviert. Uns wurde ausdrücklich gesagt wir sollen pünktlich um 20:15 Uhr kommen. Wir haben extra ein Taxi genommen und mussten dann über 25 Minuten warten obwohl wir Tage vorher reserviert haben. Und das ist leider nicht das erste Mal. Mittlerweile leider völlig überlaufen und das Management klappt nicht mehr. Für uns war das leider das letzte Mal :-(

Wir gehen hier regelmäßig mittags essen. Der Service ist super freundlich, das Essen lecker und preiswert, die Tees sind köstlich und frisch, und es ist insgesamt sehr gemütlich. Manchmal ist es ziemlich voll, aber das Team kümmert sich trotzdem hervorragend um die Gäste. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Eine große Auswahl, auch für Vegetarier*innen, sei es Tofu, Pad Choi, Veganw Ente oder viele Fleischsorten. - Empfehlung auch für Fleischliebhaber*innen: Vegane Ente ( so etwas habe ich noch nie woanders gegessen) Der Weg aus der Innenstadt lohnt sich absolut😇 Vorherige Reservierung meistens notwendig, da es immer sehr gut besucht ist!

Ich war heute mit meiner Familie hier essen und war begeistert. Nicht nur das sehr leckere und authentische Essen, sondern auch die einladende Atmosphäre hat mich und meine Familie total überzeugt. Wirat, der Besitzer war so freundlich, uns noch spontan in die, sehr gemütliche Sitzecke umziehen zu lassen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Generell waren Wirat und sein Team extrem sympathisch und haben einen sowieso schon gelungenen Abend dadurch noch aufgewertet. Vielen Dank und nur wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Wir waren mit den Kindern zum Mittagstisch. Das Essen fanden wir fad. Die Nudeln zu weich. Die Ente trocken. Die Vorspeise langweilig. Also leider nicht empfehlenswert.

As a regular at Thai restaurants, this is, for me, the best in the city.

We had dinner at Chada Thai and ordered the vegetarian seitan duck – one with green (spicy) curry and one with red curry – as well as Pad Thai with vegetables. The vegetarian duck was beautifully crispy on the outside and truly delicious. The vegetables in all the dishes were fresh and pleasantly crunchy. The curries were also aromatic, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of spice. Overall, a very successful meal – we'll definitely be back!

Reservations are necessary. Long waiting times after ordering. The food quality is very good.

Unfortunately, it's completely unsuitable for children. There are no children's dishes. The regular dishes are too big, too expensive, and the taste isn't child-friendly. We ordered spring rolls for the kids, but they didn't touch them after one bite, which I could understand. They were absolutely not good. They tasted old and musty, just filled with glass noodles. The vegetarian duck was delicious, but didn't taste anything like duck. I find the term inappropriate. The service was stressed because it was very busy, but unfortunately also rude. They didn't answer my questions. I won't be coming back.

We were visiting Freiburg and went here on a recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. Luckily, we got a cozy table outside. The red curry with vegan duck was amazing, the seitan duck was crispy, and the curry had just the right amount of spice. The vegetables were fresh and, all in all, a decent portion. We were definitely full. The service was friendly, too; we'd love to come back next time we're in Freiburg!

One of the best Asian restaurants in Freiburg. The atmosphere is very nice, indoors and outdoors with very warm decor. The food is excellent, nothing super fancy but everything that's served is great. Also great vegan alternatives and choices available. The service is a bit slow but not bad at all. Do reserve in advance, as it is a popular place.

Disappointing family visit – unfortunately not recommended We went to Chada Thai in Freiburg with our family and were actually looking forward to a nice evening with good food. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a very disappointing experience. After a whopping 1 hour and 45 minutes, we finally got our food. The drinks also took forever to arrive. What was particularly annoying was that several guests who arrived after us were served their food much earlier. The staff seemed disinterested and overwhelmed. No one asked if we wanted anything else to drink or if everything was okay. Overall, we felt unwelcome and simply ignored. Unfortunately, after this experience, we cannot recommend this restaurant. The service and organization were simply unacceptable in our case.

A sensational Thai restaurant so incredibly popular that reservations are essential. Despite plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, people are always queuing for a table or takeaway. I've never experienced a more popular Thai restaurant than this one! It goes without saying that the food is good and the value is good.

A very pretty restaurant with very friendly staff. The dishes are incredibly delicious, so much so that we've eaten here several times or even taken dishes home with us. The slightly spicy green curry is one of my favorites, as is the vegetarian duck. I'm extremely satisfied with the dishes every time and always enjoy trying something new.

This was our first time here and we were absolutely thrilled with the delicious food. The duck was very crispy and not fatty. The service was prompt and very friendly. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Reservations are recommended. We'd be happy to come back.

We booked this Thai restaurant in Freiburg because we want to try the food. The location is very nice especially in summer since the tables are under the trees. The restaurant is nice and the atmosphere is really relaxed. The service is very friendly. The food was good, not extraordinary but good. The antipasti were tasty and fresh, we had a mixed plate. I was a bit disappointed by the main dishes, we took a salad and a chicken with rice. I would have expected more depth of flavour. The only issue was that the menu does not indicate the level of spiciness that you get. So despite the fact that we are used to eating spicy, the dish that arrived was so spicy that it was unateable. We clearly left it and enjoyed the rest. This is the only point I would change.

A top restaurant, highly recommended! Very suitable for vegetarians/vegans with a wide selection. The quality of the food was excellent; it was hot and freshly prepared. The vegan duck is a rare but delicious find and definitely recommended even for meat eaters. The dishes were quite spicy, so those who can't stand it should be careful. I found the spiciness just right, though. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was served quickly, and there were no long waits. The atmosphere was always friendly and open. We'd love to come back, and hopefully you will soon too.

Great Asian restaurant. The sauces and dips for the appetizers are incredibly delicious. The duck was nicely crispy and not dry. The value for money is absolutely excellent. The service is very friendly, courteous, and fast. We'd be happy to return.

We had reserved a table. The staff was quite aloof and very busy. They didn't bother coming to the table to take our order, but stayed behind the railing of the gallery – it was shorter after all – so we were also handed the appetizer! (Not served) was definitely not what you'd expect from a restaurant. My rice noodle soup was very bland and basically just boring. The mango salad was well-seasoned. For the main course, we were recommended the vegetarian duck, which was okay – but not the wow we expected. The garlic chicken was, to put it mildly, nothing. The chicken was weak – the roasted garlic was bitter, and the garlic skins were mixed in. I found them like a piece of straw and discarded them. Not a recommendation for us. Freiburg really has much better to offer. P.S. The wall could desperately use a new coat of paint – it felt like the last few years' menu was on the wall at the cash register. The outdoor terrace is very nice in good weather.

We made a reservation for 8:00 PM, but after 90 minutes (9:30 PM), we still hadn't received any food, so we frustratedly paid for the drinks and a small appetizer and left. No apology other than "it's just busy" – a very disappointing experience for us.

It was my first time there, and the food was delicious, even if there was too much coriander in the dishes for my taste. The staff was friendly, but once the place gets full, which happened within 15 minutes of opening, it's a bit difficult to order something else, like a drink. Another negative point for me personally is the extremely close seating at the tables; it's a bit awkward when your neighbors are constantly staring at you, eager to join in the conversation.
