Wir sind super gerne hier und zählt zu unseren liebsten Restaurants. Nur die Sitzgelegenheiten sind immer ziemlich knapp. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen und super lecker 😋

Super leckeres Thai Essen!!! Sehr schneller und super freundlicher Service. Und das beste ist, dass es alle Gerichte auch in Glutenfrei gibt.

Für Vegetarier kann ich die Nr.4 empfehlen: es gibt zwar insgesamt wenig Auswahl aber es ist so gesund & lecker! Und mit 10.90 Euro auch günstig, da man absolut satt wird.

Ein Muss wenn man Thai Nudelsuppe mag 😍 . Wir sind immer als Touris in Freiburg und das Mittagessen ist jedesmal dort 👏

Mein absoluter Lieblings Nudelsuppenladen.

Eine tolle asiatische Suppe, reich gefüllt mit Zutaten, wohlschmeckende und gut. Und wer es schärfer will, der darf gerne mit Chilis nachwürzen. War zum ersten Mal dort und wenn ich wieder in Freiburg werde ich wieder hingehen. Toll Der Service (Selbstbedienung) bei der Bestellaugnahme war auf Zack. Super. Das Ambiente ist eben anders einer Straße, aber überraschend wenig Lärm.

Die Suppe war meiner Meinung nach ziemlich fad. Das Fleisch war etwas zäh. Das Gemüse war frisch. Die Bedienung war zwar schnell, aber unaufmerksam; die bestellten Zutaten wurden nicht für jede Suppenschüssel überprüft. Andererseits hätte ich auch einfach gehen können, ohne zu bezahlen… ehrlich gesagt, da besteht Verbesserungsbedarf!

Habe etwas zum mitnehmen geholt, war ganz okay. Die Suppen haben lecker ausgesehen.

Die Suppe 🍜 war fantastisch. Super Geschmack und reichlich Fleisch und Nudeln. 🍝 Ich kann das Restaurant für ein schönes Mittag- oder Abendessen wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir sind hier immer gerne Essen gegangen, sehr oft, und kamen auch von weiter weg, was viel aussagt, es hat uns immer geschmeckt. Doch nach unserem letzten Besuch ging es beiden sehr schlecht, und wir vermuten leider dass es vom Essen kam.

Köstlich! Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort bin, gibt es eine Warteschlange.

Die Nr. 3 hab ich immer bestellt und bis jetzt immer gut geschmeckt. Richtig gut wenn man alleine mal etwas Schnelles, Warmes essen will.

Köstliches, frisch zubereitetes Essen. Sehr preiswert, vor allem angesichts der zentralen Lage in Freiburg. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, uns wurde direkt ein Sitzplatz angeboten und wir konnten auch direkt bestellen. Wir waren gegen 14 Uhr da und wir hatten wirklich Glück und mussten nicht warten. Die Suppe war sehr lecker! Man konnte sich die Nudeln selbst aussuchen und man hat wirklich eine gute Auswahl. Auch für Vegetarier ist was dabei. Das Geschirr musste man am Ende selbst weg bringen, was aber vollkommen okay ist. Wir wurden zum Abschied gefragt wie es uns geschmeckt hat und welche Suppe wir am besten fanden.

Ich musste 30 Minuten auf Essen und Trinken warten. Alle, die nach mir kamen, hatten schon etwas. Der Kellner hatte meine Bestellung vergessen, bis ich nachfragte. Wirklich eine schreckliche Erfahrung.

Super cooles Konzept und die beste asiatische Nudelsuppe in der Region. Das Essen ist sehr authentisch und die Preise angemessen. Es gibt vegane und vegetarische Varianten, aber ich selbst esse immer die Suppe mit Seafood.

Authentisches Thai Food wie in Thailand – ein kleiner Urlaub in Freiburg Wir waren im Chada Thai Nudelsuppe in Freiburg, empfohlen von einer Freundin, die lange in Thailand gelebt hat – und diese Empfehlung war absolut goldrichtig. Wer echtes, authentisches Thai Food liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Schon beim Platznehmen fühlt man sich eher wie in einem kleinen Lokal in Chiang Mai als mitten in Freiburg. Auf dem Tisch stehen ganz selbstverständlich die klassischen thailändischen Gewürze: Erdnüsse, Zucker, Chili und Chiliessig – genau so, wie man es aus Thailand kennt. Das Essen ist hervorragend, intensiv im Geschmack, frisch zubereitet und kompromisslos authentisch. Keine angepasste Version für europäische Gaumen, sondern ehrliches Thai-Essen mit Tiefe. Zur Mittagszeit ist viel los, was nicht wundert – mehrere Unis sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und die Suppen sind gerade für Studenten sehr moderat bepreist. Trotzdem findet man nach kurzer Wartezeit einen Platz. Genau diese lebendige, gut frequentierte Atmosphäre kennt man aus Thailand und sie passt perfekt zu diesem Ort. Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und immer wach, auch wenn der Laden voll ist. Fazit: Das Chada Thai Nudelsuppe ist eine echte Empfehlung für alle, die Thailand kulinarisch vermissen oder kennenlernen wollen. Authentisch, lebendig und einfach richtig gut – für uns eines der besten Thai-Lokale in Freiburg.

Samstagabend mussten wir nur kurz warten, die Zeit konnten wir gut mit der Auswahl unserer Gerichte überbrücken. Wir bekamen zwei Plätze am Wandtresen. Die Suppe kam sehr schnell und war unglaublich lecker: reichlich gefüllt mit Garnele, Ei, Miesmuschel, Lachs, Tintenfisch und Nudeln – angenehm scharf und sehr aromatisch. Der Service war freundlich. Die Geräuschkulisse aus der Küche war etwas laut, aber das hervorragende Essen macht das mehr als wett.

Ich hatte eine Nudelsuppe mit Fisch und Meeresfrüchten ,sie war sowas von lecker 😋

Ein sehr schönes Thai-Restaurant mit authentischem Geschmack. Die Nudelsuppe war hervorragend: aromatische, kräftige Brühe, perfekt gegarte Nudeln und frische Zutaten, alles sehr ausgewogen und wohltuend. Man merkt, dass hier mit Sorgfalt und Liebe zur thailändischen Küche gekocht wird. Freundlicher Service und eine entspannte Atmosphäre runden das Erlebnis ab. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die echte Thai-Nudelsuppen lieben.

Very tasty Tom Yam, from the broth in general to the seafood in particular 🍲 I also liked the homemade pandanus lemonade, although I would have added more lime to better balance the sweetness 🥤 The service is very fast and friendly ☺️

Delicious and comforting soup 🤍

For over seven years, I've been a regular at Chada Thai in Freiburg, where I order the chicken broth with rice noodles – it's actually one of my favorite dishes there. Unfortunately, something has changed recently. The portions have noticeably decreased: fewer rice noodles, less meat, and less vegetables. The dish is barely filling anymore, which was never a problem before. At a price of €11.90, I expect a portion that's actually satisfying and consistently large. The food still tastes good, but the price-to-portion ratio is no longer acceptable to me. It's a shame, because the food itself is still delicious. I really hope the portion sizes go back to what they used to be.

The noodle soup with broth was very tasty.

I almost had to make my own soup... First, find a place where you can carry everything you need. And what about the cutlery? Normal cutlery is a fork and knife! Not chopsticks! We're not in China... Not everyone knows how to eat with those! Plus, the soup comes with bits of stuff... In the end, all you're really eating is a piece of salad, two shrimp (because the third shrimp is a whole animal, which isn't easy to open and get the last one out), and the soup is literally water... The rest are just big pieces that make it seem "big." And in the end, I even had to pack my own soup... And all that for €14.90, honestly? I'd rather go to Taumi; it's good, the same price, and the service is 100% better... Anyway, what a disappointment. I regret paying that much.

I ordered the seafood tom yam noodles, which were good with shrimp, fish, and mussels. The iced tea, however, wasn't as tasty. Overall, though, it was okay.

My favourite place to eat in Freiburg. The curry soup is simply amazing! It's prepared really fast and the portions are really decent. Some toppings options are available on the table, the quality of the food is really consistent. Victim of it's success I guess, it's often crowdy on rush hours and you have sometimes to wait (never too long though) or get comfortable on a corner of a table. I warmly recommend!

We ordered Massaman curry noodle, seafood noodle soup with tom yum soup base and beef noodle. All the items were so so good. Its packed with flavour, and the flavours are so balanced. My personal favourite was seafood one, it is a little sweet with a punch of tanginess. This one is highly recommended. Service was top notch. We were 6people and all the food were served within 10minutes. All the people Were very nice.

The good old Chada Thai soups are long gone. They simplified the recipe to keep prices low. Instead of coconut milk, they used cooking cream, and instead of lemongrass, they used beans (presumably frozen). So now it tastes like a cafeteria dish...

Very authentic Thai cuisine. You arrive and the smell of Thailand is immediately apparent from the small snack bars serving soups and curries. Highly recommended. We had chicken noodle soup once, with super tender meat, and beef noodle soup once, with incredibly aromatic flavor. Will we come again? Definitely.

The best noodle soup ever! I've been to so many Asian restaurants in Germany, but none come close to this broth. It's a shame we're only visiting Freiburg, otherwise we'd probably be here all the time. The soup looks completely unassuming at first glance, but the taste is simply amazing.

I've been here more than once. I really like the food.

The service was very slow. When we arrived (with a reservation), a group of people were asked to leave our seats, which was very unpleasant for everyone involved. It took about 30 minutes for someone to come and take our drinks and give us our menus. Around us, there were more people who arrived after us, and they got their drinks and food faster. We didn't get an appetizer and had it removed from the bill. The main course arrived relatively quickly, but we found that the quantity of food was decreasing (this is our third visit).

There was a piece of plastic in the food.

The Tom Yum and rice noodle salad were delicious! The service was very good, and we got our food quickly. Especially authentic Thai food! We were able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the weather while enjoying the delicious food!

Super tasty food at a good price

Very tasty place and almost fully Thai! A pity they did not have the wheat noodles to try but the rice ones were good (they have different sizes). We had the beef and the chicken and the chicken one was definitely better. You can make it as spicy as you want to with the sauces they have on the table which is convenient

We tried two different noodle soups at Chada Thai and loved them! One was a creamy, slightly spicy coconut curry soup, the other a clear broth with fresh tofu, egg, dumplings, mushrooms, and crunchy sprouts. Every ingredient was fresh and perfectly balanced – you can taste the love that goes into making this dish. The portions were generous, the value for money was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere – especially outside on the wooden terrace – is pleasantly relaxed.

My companions and myself headed into the heart of the beautiful city of Fribourg, as city air is known to be a liberating experience. After a lavish feast the previous day, my best friends and I looked relatively battered and longed for some way to care for our battered bodies. Thanks to the hot food served at this restaurant, our bodily fluids are now in complete balance, thanks to plenty of precious chili flakes. The food was very good, but the service was unreasonable. The waitresses were overwhelmed, unfriendly and showed no empathy whatsoever. When I asked to change seats because my companion was not feeling well, the waitress reacted loudly and aggressively - behavior that is completely out of place in a restaurant. Something like that doesn't work at all. Despite the good food, I will not recommend the restaurant.

I had a curry that tasted really great. I also really liked the atmosphere - especially the many topics that are right on the table. Everything was very tasty and tasted traditional. I can only recommend the restaurant!

My family of 5 people have experienced beef pho, chicken pho, food comes out quickly, friendly staff, children can still eat beef pho. Although not as delicious as Vietnam, the taste is still ok

the sea food thai soup (n°3) is amazing

The foods were excellent. We took beef noodles, sea food noodles, masaman curry and all were marvelous. IMO, the sea food one were the best. The service were mind blowing. The food arrived within few seconds.

We always enjoy coming here when we are in Freiburg. The noodle soups are very authentic Thai and taste wonderful. This is one of the few restaurants outside of Thailand that serves Kai Mun Gai exactly the way my son likes it. 5 stars plus Price is absolutely fair

We wanted to purchase several bottles of water. This was rejected by the owner. We cannot buy water from you.

It has nothing to do with Thailand. Tom Yum is not sour or spicy. It is understandable but unacceptable. The curry soup base didn't look like it was made by myself. The soup was too little and the rice noodles behind were all lumpy. My stomach hurts after eating, and takeout boxes are piled at the door of the toilet. Maybe it’s not very clean (wipe sweat manually)

I took the veg curry and it was amazing. One of the best I tried, really. If you are toooo sensitive to spicy food as me, it can be a bit much at the end. But still amazing. I strongly recommend it!

Every time I go to Freiburg I visit this Thai noodle restaurant. I actually went there twice today – it was really good. The restaurant is always full. It's best to pay by card to avoid overpayments - I learned my lesson today. I wanted to get rid of my change so I paid in cash. My bill was €17.80. I gave the cashier 80 cents along with a 50 euro bill. She then asked me for another €2 so I gave her a total of €52.80 for a bill of €17.80. Since there were a lot of people in line and she had to take care of both the orders and the cashier herself, I was a little overwhelmed. She gave me €30 back. After leaving the restaurant I noticed the mistake and returned two minutes later to ask for the missing €5. Her response was disappointing: I should have checked it as soon as I received the change and not after I left the restaurant. It's not about the €5, it's about their feedback, which disappointed me. So next time it’s better to pay by card instead of cash!

Had a really nice veggie massaman curry here. The only thing I didn’t like was that the egg was slightly overboiled. They also had seasonings on the table to adjust according to taste. The iced tea is also really nice. Everything was priced quite reasonably and was very tasty. The service is also fast and friendly. They also accept card payments.

Hidden gem in Freiburg. If you're looking for good, inexpensive noodle soup, then you've come to the right place. The place smells incredibly good just when you walk past. If you like noodle soups, you simply have to do something here. The map is compact and clear. The homemade iced tea is unbeatable. Card payment possible! Go there, dear people, and experience something
