C'era Una Volta in Nürnberg

Ich habe kürzlich das C'era Una Volta besucht und kann nur sagen, dass es ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis war!! Schon beim Betreten des Lokals, fühlt man sich wie in Italien - die warme einladende Atmosphäre und der herzliche Service machen den Besuch besonders. Wer in Nürnberg nach authentischer italienischer Küche sucht, ist bei C'era Una Volta bestens aufgehoben! Hier stimmt einfach alles und werde definitiv immer kommen

Sehr schönes gemütliches kleines italienisches Lokal. Der Chef und das Personal sind sehr freundlich. (Familie) Das essen hat ein ganz eigenen Geschmack wirklich sehr gut. Noch nie so gut italienisch gegessen. Man sollte dort auf jedenfall mal gewesen sein. Das essen ist vom Preis für so ein tolles essen gerechtfertigt.

Wir waren zu zweit essen und hatten einen richtig schönen Abend. Die Vorspeise mit Pasta und Meeresfrüchten war super lecker und perfekt gewürzt. Beim Hauptgang gab es ein perfekt gebratenes Steak. Der Service war klasse: freundlich, aufmerksam und immer zur Stelle, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und das Essen total genossen. Ein tolles Restaurant, das wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und gerne wieder besuchen!

Mal wieder ein toller Abend im C’era una Volta! Top Essen, bester Service und einfach ein traumhaftes Ambiente! Man fühlt sich mehr als nur wohl !

It started with the fact that the choice of food was very limited, we only had the choice between the fish or meat menu at a price of 75 EUR for a three-course menu. It came at a fast pace, way too fast for my taste, so it had more of the feel of fast food. The meat was good, but the side dishes were stingy (only a potato and some carelessly put together vegetables). Unfortunately, the fish was totally over salted. Unfortunately, it is also very loud in the restaurant, so you can't really expect a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. For 75 EUR you can probably expect a lot more.

I would like to report something, but the reservation that we had organized 7 weeks in advance was forgotten. That's also the approximate time it takes to get a place there. After 50 minutes of waiting, we looked for another restaurant. It can happen, but unfortunately you apparently have to drive a Bentley or AMG to be considered here. Too bad. Only seen from the outside.

We were there yesterday for lunch. We were really looking forward to it because we were there in the evening a few years ago and it was really tasty. This time we were unfortunately disappointed. You didn't really get full. As a starter there was pasta, which was completely hard on the inside, and as a main course there was a single prawn and 5 pieces of vegetables. The eggplant was so inedible and not cooked through. The dessert was very sweet, yet tasty but also extremely small. The service was very nice.

Yesterday after our civil wedding we had our wedding banquet at Cera una Volta with our 23 guests. The ambience, the service, the food, the decoration everything was perfect and tailored to our wishes. Mario the son responded to all of our wishes and gave us personal words before opening the menu that were very touching! Franco's food was delicious and impressive for all our guests! Italian cuisine at a very high level. Thanks to the whole family for this great and loving hospitality❤️

It's gorgeous food, but there is no menu. It was a set menu, and although there was a choice for the carnivores, there were no choices for vegetarians. I'd prefer a choice but the food was tasty and the service was fantastic.

Im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise haben wir das Restaurant besucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Bei bestem Ambiente haben wir das leckere und qualitative Essen sehr genossen.

Wir waren zum Hochzeitstag der Eltern meiner Freundin im C‘era una Volta – und es war einfach richtig gut. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und gemütlich, der Service super herzlich, und Franco hat uns mit seinem Essen echt begeistert. Man merkt, wie viel Leidenschaft dahintersteckt. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Wir haben den Geburtstag meiner Mutter hier gefeiert, und es war einfach perfekt! Franco kocht unglaublich gutes Essen, und seine Frau Franziska kümmert sich mit so viel Herzlichkeit um die Gäste, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Jeder Gang war frisch, authentisch und mit Liebe gemacht. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und familiär, genau wie man es sich wünscht. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis – definitiv mein Lieblingsrestaurant!

Wir waren heute *endlich* (nachdem wir es schon seit Jahren vor hatten) erstmals bei “C'era Una Volta" in der Nürnberger Innenstadt. Man kann es nicht anders sagen: Es war SENSATIONELL gut! Kein langes Stöbern in einer Speisekarte - es wird gegessen was auf den Tisch kommt (gewisse Auswahl beim Hauptgang) und da entdeckt man auch mal Geschmacksexplosionen die man sich sonst nicht selbst bestellt hätte. Ein Genuss von Anfang bis Ende in toller Atmosphäre!

Das beste Restaurant in Nürnberg! Ganz kleiner Laden, immer lecker und einfach genial! Franco ist einzigartig und der beste Gastgeber überhaupt. So sollte Gastronomie immer sein. Wir waren schon oft hier und kommen immer wieder gerne. Aber unbedingt vorher anrufen!

C’era Una Volta is an incredibly recommended Italian restaurant in Nuremberg. There is no menu, but there are various menus to choose from. Culinarily it was absolute perfection. The service was very attentive, friendly and surprisingly open, so you quickly felt like you were at home with good friends. This is also conveyed by the ambience with the many photos of the owner family. Overall, an unforgettable evening. Thanks!!

Food is good. BUT drinks are only water and wine and Aperol Spritz. If someone doesn't want to drink alcohol...there is only water. That's why unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. Too bad.

Finally not a standard Italian. No 20 pizza/pasta combos. The boss (who is at the start with his family) offers a 3-course menu with sense and understanding. In our case with three main courses to choose from (one better than the other). Perfect evening, THANK YOU for that 🙏🏻

Dieses Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Hier kann man essen gehen, ohne zu wissen, was man benimmt. Jedes Menu ist ein Genuss. Ich kann dieses Lokal absolut empfehlen. Hier bekommt man aber nicht nur erstklassiges Essen, sondern auch einen Service der seines gleichen sucht. Hier wird einem das Gefühl gegeben, zur Familie zu gehören.

Das beste Restaurant, wir haben meinen Bruder seinen 18 Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Das essen ist einfach 5 sterne plus. Top Qualität Super service. 5 sterne sind viel zu wenig. Wenn man gutes essen will ist man hier genau richtig. Familiärer Atmosphäre mit top essen. Muss man einfach probieren 👍🏽

Unfortunately there is only one menu, with only one starter and one dessert. For the main course we had the choice between swordfish, veal and roast beef, although the sauce and side dish were the same everywhere. The starter was spaghetti with tomato sauce and this is where I had my first problem because I don't eat carbohydrates. I was promised vegetables as an alternative. What came next were fried peppers, eggplant and potatoes!!!! Super. Plus it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. For the main course I chose fish. When I asked about the side dish, I was told that the vegetables that I had previously had with the starter would be served again. Great. There was no alternative. I asked to leave out the potatoes and not make it so spicy. The potatoes were then left out and I only got paprika, but again just as spicy! The fish, on the other hand, was hardly seasoned and the fat had separated from the sauce. Dessert was tiramisu for the others and again no alternative for me, such as a few fruits. The service was ok, but I could tell that they didn't like it when you asked for alternatives or expressed a request that it not be so spicy. The concept is ok, if it is communicated beforehand when you order the table or there is a website where you could see the menu beforehand, then I can decide whether I want to visit the restaurant. So I'm simply faced with the fact that I have to eat what's on the table and I would like to choose my own food if I don't pay a little money for it. Regarding the atmosphere, I have to say that I personally don't like it when the boss is constantly running around with his cell phone and taking photos. In addition, due to the small room with a relatively large number of tables, it is very loud when it is full. Then two street musicians came in and it got even louder. It was also unpleasant that they then asked for money at every table, all tolerated by the restaurant, so I can only give one star for our evening!

It's always a very special evening in this sweet little family-run restaurant. You are always greeted with a warm hug. The food is always a poem, the starter usually pasta and the main course fish or meat and a small sweet dessert afterwards, simply fantastic. Of course you can also eat 4 courses. Was there again for the first time in over 15 years. Very nice atmosphere, friendly, family service and a great menu at a fair price. The fact that I still look back absolutely positively the next day and that my wife and friends feel the same way is a sign that this is a highly recommended, individual restoration. You have to know, there is only one menu with 2-3 different main courses, but it's really worth it.♥️

Franco welcomed us with a signature calamarata, then he prepared a space angus fillet for us, my guests ordered grilled prawns and sole, all very fresh and good, try it!!!

My family loved the energy of this restaurant. It’s limited menu was a huge pro for and honestly really fun - we like having a different type of dining experience every now and then. The food we were served was delicious, filling, and came quickly. The waitstaff were super great, and spoke English in addition to German and Italian. We would recommend this place to anyone who is not picky and wants an authentic Italian dining experience!

The chef prepares everything fresh, which you can taste straight away. I ordered the pasta with lobster and loved it - perfectly al dente and in a delicious sauce. For the main course I could choose between tuna and meat and chose the tuna. It was outstanding, tender and in a divine sauce that was to die for. After 2 weeks we were unfortunately disappointed in a direct comparison. Unfortunately, the arrabbiata sauce for our starter was so spicy, even for fans of spicy dishes, that the bottle of red wine was almost empty for the main course. The Agnus served was on point and a delight, although we ran out of wine while we were eating it and no one made an effort to offer us another bottle. Instead, they visibly tried to serve the dessert. The question about coffee or digestivo didn't even come up. Mi dispiace So the price remains disappointing, despite the top main course and the beautiful setting. Too bad

We went as a group and were given a menu. Delicious pasta as a starter, three types of fish for the main course and a tiramisu to finish. Every course was delicious! There was also good wine. The service was outstanding, the daughter and son took care of the drinks and the father took care of the food. A very well-coordinated team and consistently attentive!

We ended up at this lovely place while passing through germany. A small charming piece of italy that made us think back with nostalgia to our trip through Italy. Delicious pasta and a rich plate with scampi and swordfish. The host and his family are very friendly and generous. Don't miss it!

This restaurant is about a half block off the Main Street…it is well worth the short walk for the fabulous service and amazing food. We had the angus beef which was served to perfection.

Wanted to eat here today because of the very good reviews. The fact that there are only menus here wasn't a problem for us at all, but my partner is a vegetarian. When asked what was available on the menu, the answer was that no information could be given. When asked why, the employee on the phone became unfriendly. There are countless restaurants with menus that can be found on the Internet. Why this restaurant doesn't think it's necessary is questionable.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend bei fantastischem Essen, super Weinbegleitung und unglaublichem Service. Das Restaurant hat keine Speisekarte sondern serviert Menüs. Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Gerichte sind außerordentlich und das habe ich so in Nürnberg noch nicht erlebt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und wirklich nach Strich und Faden verwöhnt! Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir mit Freunden, die auch Genießer guter Küche sind, dort essen gegangen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Die übertrieben hohen Preise wären tolerierbar gewesen wenn die Speisen den Erwartungen annähernd entsprochen hätten. Der Koch ist offenbar in der Auswahl der Gerichte, die er kocht, sehr eingeschränkt. Die sehr kleine Wahlmöglichkeit aus maximal 3-4 Gerichten muss nichts schlechtes heißen, soweit so gut. Aber dass es zur Vorspeise (Ravioli) eine Tomaten-Zitronen -Sauce gab und zum Fischgericht eine weiße (Sahne-)Zitronensauce gab, da waren wir noch d’accord (ungeachtet der Tatsache, dass es kein Einzelfall-Geschmacksurteil von uns allen Vier war, dass sie selbst für eine Zitronensauce leider viel zu sauer ausgefallen ist 😑. Aber als dann der Hauptgang - Rinderfilet - dann wieder mit der selben weißen und völlig übersäuerten Zitronensauce ertränkt wurde, haben wir zaghaft versucht unser Unverständnis kundzutun. Der Service reagierte absolut pampig, antwortete die Sauce müsse so sein und passe perfekt zum Fleischgericht, drehte sich um und war fortan den Rest des Abends unfreundlich zu uns. Das Einzige, was man positiv erwähnen kann, ist, dass die Qualität der Ware gut ist, also Fisch und Fleisch waren frisch. Wenn Koch und Service noch zugänglich wären Ihren kulinarischen Horizont zu erweitern, wäre durchaus Potenzial vorstellbar. Ansonsten empfiehlt es sich wohl eher eine Pizza dort zu essen. Diese haben wir da zwar nicht probiert, aber da kann man nicht so viel falsch machen sofern man die Zitronensauce durch Tomaten ersetzt.

Lovely atmosphere - you think you’re in Italy. A simple setup with a fixed menu. You just need to decide if you want fish (seafood) or meat for main. It tastes absolutely delicious and the portions are big. No nonsense and great price performance. Just go 😀

Ein unerwartetes tolles Erlebnis hatten wir auf der Durchreise in Nürnberg. Per Zufall sind wie auf das "Cera una Volta" gestoßen. Der Empfang war schon mega cool. Franco und sein Team sind so etwas von freundlich. Das Essen war superbe. Die Spaghetti und danach der Tonno waren ausgezeichnet. Unsere Tochter Alessia wurde so etwas verwöhnt - außergewöhnlich und zeugt von grossen Herzen. Herzlichen Dank, wir kommen wieder, sollten wir wieder in Nürnberg sein.

Found in TA and we’re SO HAPPY we trusted the reviews. Mario welcomed us immediately and explained about the way the menu worked. Basically no menu but sounded delicious. The pasta starter was the most delicious pasta dish ever, just perfect. For main my husband had the fillet steak and I had langoustine. The food was prepared perfectly and was outstanding. Tiramisu rounded up a perfect meal. Franco and Mario were perfect hosts, so friendly and open. Ended with grappa and a feeling that we had enjoyed something truly special. Perfect, elegant and memorable.

The atmosphere is nice-ish, but the food is really expensive, and the owner seems to be trying to sell you more. When there are almost no people, it is a sign to avoid this place.

C'era Una Volta is by far the best Italian in the Nuremberg area! The authentic atmosphere immediately immerses you in beautiful Italy. The service is excellent – ​​friendly, attentive and always professional. Particularly noteworthy is the fantastic chef who conjures up true masterpieces on the plate. We were there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. There is no menu at lunch and what has been prepared is served. Experiment successful. I enjoyed it very much. 1. RAVIOLI 2.Fish 3.Dessert + espresso for 15 euros. Where else is that available?

Im C’era una volta gibt es immer ein Top Essen, das Personal ist total freundlich und auch unsere leeren Gläser wurden immer wieder mit Wasser gefüllt. Alles in allem ein Top Restaurant das man jeden nur empfehlen kann auszuprobieren. Menschlich und Herzlichkeit wird hier Gros geschrieben. Wer gerne lecker ist und eine tolle Atmosphäre möchte ist hier an der richtigen Adresse.

Wir waren im Februar in diesem tollen Ausnahme Restaurant, was soll ich sagen jeder einzelne Gang war perfekt. Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben ein besseres Rinderfilet gegessen. Franco weiß einfach wie man die einzelnen Zutaten zu einem perfekten Gericht zusammenstellt. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Nach meinem Training hatte ich Lust auf einen schönen Teller italienische Pasta und bin deshalb ins C'era una volta gefahren, wo Chefkoch Franco meinen Wunsch erfüllt hat und mir köstliche Tortellacci al Tartufo servierte.
