Bar in the center of Hanau. We stopped to get something. But we were not very happy. The menu was not rich in things but there were few things to choose from. The waitress did not give us time to order because she came right away. The prices were high and I did not like the taste of the drink at all.

Food was good, but a bit overpriced. The cleanliness and smell in the toilets could be worked on... smells like the train station.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The price-performance ratio was not at all consistent. My main course, a chicken burger, was still raw inside and therefore inedible. Additionally, the waitress described the fries as if they were included in the price of the burger, but they ended up being charged extra. The toilets also had an extremely strong smell, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Overall, the food was not only expensive but also of poor quality. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Having breakfast or Sunday brunch at Central is always a treat. Great selection of fresh, delicious food. Due to the great location, you can then stroll through the weekly market or do a little shopping in the city.

Been there for the first and last time in the last few days. A burger for 14 euros without any side dish, with a ready-made bun. Fries just under 6 euros. The Moscow Mule had nothing to do with the cocktail of the same name and tasted like lemon juice with a sip of ginger beer. Couldn't drink it.

We were looking forward to a great evening today (June 19th) as part of the public viewing. Drinks and food were tasty and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, this feeling of exhilaration was dashed with the payment. It was revealed to us at the table that an extra €5.00 per person would be charged for the public viewing, i.e. in addition to consumption. (The note was on the table). There's probably a clue on Instagram???? If we had known this when we made the reservation, we would have stayed at home. Very negative impression☹️☹️☹️☹️ Does this only apply to German national team games??????

I paid €2.50 for water (filtered tap water). In other countries this is service. (it's free)

We watched the opening game (Germany against Scotland) on June 14th, 2024 in Café Central. Unfortunately I have to report that we didn't like it at all, the staff and the TV broadcast were just rubbish. At first it was said that there were indoor and outdoor transmissions, when we arrived at Central there were only 3 indoor transmissions and one of them was 30 seconds earlier than the other 2 transmissions. After the first half, the television was simply switched off with 30 seconds left and we had to turn around and watch the game on another television from behind in the corner. The drinks were picked up by the staff at the beginning of the game and were brought around the 30th minute of the game (there wasn't much going on in the location). There were 2 waitresses. With a game like this you would have to assume more customers and also plan for more staff. In addition, charging an entrance fee of €5 for such quality of television is a real impudence!!! We will definitely avoid this restaurant during the European Championships!!!

Very poorly organized, unfriendly staff, drinks received very late

EM opening, reserved outdoor, they told us only indoor possible. At match halftime they closed the TV across our table! Totally unprofessional, big campaign on social media for the EM but nothing was ready, 2 TV only for entire floor. Best thing they charge 5€ if you come to see the match…

The place looks run down. There is no chair that doesn't have cracks in the cover. The seating outside is also partially defective. The service was very nice. In my opinion, price performance is not right.

The Sunday brunch is very tasty and filling. When the weather is nice you can sit outside with a view of the market square. Our service was very attentive and friendly.

In short: The burgers are still amazing, the location is, as the name suggests, central and the service suffers a little from the lack of staff. But that's nothing new. You can argue about the prices, but we're happy to go.

When we came in, one of the employees was standing outside chatting. Only ended the conversation when he served us. Afterwards a service person came and didn't look at us when greeting us, just looked at our cell phone. Afterwards we asked to wipe the table again because all the tables were pretty dirty. When the food came we were very disappointed, the paddy's were lukewarm and the rolls were cold. The waiter apologized and offered a free drink. Which was nice, but we're not coming anymore. It's a shame - hence the rating

Absolutely friendly, fast and very competent service. Our burgers tasted excellent. In mine, the top bun was a little cold, but the meat was warm. Gladly again.

It was my first time having brunch at Central. The selection was overwhelming. There is definitely something for everyone. Everything was super tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend it.

Rich breakfast buffet of great quality. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. It was a bit loud, but that's unavoidable with a full house. All in all very welcoming and highly recommended!

We sat comfortably together as a class, the service was very friendly and flexible, we were able to move a few tables and create a large board without any problems. The burger was very tasty and Thursday and Friday, when burger day is also absolutely reasonable in price

We just shouted sorry as normal. When the waitress came, she started talking to us stupidly and didn't serve us politely and then not at all. We wanted to move because the space for two was very small for the food. However, we were told that this table was reserved. After a few minutes, 2 people who hadn't reserved were seated. Rude waitress with glasses!

We were having breakfast here and had called ahead and reserved a table. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they didn't know anything about a reservation. They were still able to offer us a high table. Of course it can happen, but it shouldn't on a Saturday, when almost everything is reserved anyway. If there hadn't been a table it would have been really annoying. But the service was good and the breakfast was tasty. The classic breakfast burger was particularly good.

The drinks were terribly bad and there is an urgent need for action to sell them as "cocktails" for this price.

Very nice central restaurant in Hanau. The ambience is pleasant and comfortable. The service is very friendly and helpful, a big thank you. We were there on Thursday because it is Burger Day and the burgers were very tasty. Points deducted because there were no more sweet potatoes, but it wasn't that bad. Clear recommendation.

Unfortunately we waited forever for service and then for food. Unfortunately that was just average and way too expensive. We used to always like to go there, but now the price/performance doesn't match at all anymore.

Unfortunately I can only say bad things about the food. One time the cheese was spoiled, another time the chicken was still completely raw inside. So I still like to go there to drink a cocktail, but I won't eat there anymore

I ate here for the first time today. We ordered 2 burgers + fries and drinks. We were welcomed and served very nicely. There were only a few seats available and therefore it was very loud. The food tasted very good, the ambience could perhaps have seemed a little more cozy with a little louder music, but ok... the Central is in the middle of the city and therefore the prices are accordingly. I will gladly come again.

Were there for brunch on Sunday. Unfortunately, the quality of the buffet decreased, especially the meat was very sour and not quite as fresh. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that great either, which was probably due to the small number of people.

It's been a while since I've been there and I almost fell off my chair. What happened to the culinary diversity at Central? Only burgers, two curries and salad... If only they were outstanding burgers... They were tasty but not a highlight either. What is completely sick is the price of the side order of fries. 5.50 for a handful of fries!!!! These were the most expensive plain frozen fries of my life. Likewise the impudence of paying €2 for a mini bowl of dip!!! That was the last time I was there

The menu has changed, I thought the old one was better and there was more choice. Now it has become more of a standard fast food shop

The coffee was too cold and bitter. Otherwise, an outstanding service. The cleaning equipment within the cabinet area is empty including the paper within the washing pots.

I ordered a burger and then pulled a black hair out of my mouth. This in itself isn't a bad thing, but when I kindly pointed this out to the waiter, he started to take it personally and started shouting and insulting us. I and my companions were labeled as 13-year-olds who were just making it all up because we had no money. In addition, we were threatened with police, although this restaurant is now being reported to the health department. What an impudence, we are all of age.

I used to go to Central very often and have always been happy, especially the brunch. Recently ordered breakfast for just under €13, dried toast and half a liter of hollandaise sauce arrived after 2 minutes. It's a shame since it's very centrally located, you should make some effort.

I find it outrageous that the snack box only has a sauce and the price has still risen, as well as much more.

Waren zum Weihnachtsbrunch dort. Essen war in Ordnung, jedoch hätte ich mir für Weihnachten etwas anderes gewünscht ( was weihnachtlicheres ) Für 28,90 Euro pro Person fand ich es ziemlich teuer. Das Buffet steht ziemlich durcheinander. Nachspeisen zwischen Frühstück und Hauptgerichten verteilt. Das Besteck und die Teller musste man sich suchen... Das Leute schweine sein können sah man an den Toiletten... Und jetzt das positive... Die Servicekräfte waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sonst hätte ich hier weniger Sterne gegeben

Wir waren heute zum Weihnachtsbrunch da. Auswahl und Qualität waren im Verhältnis zum Preis pro Person (26,90€) definitiv NICHT gerechtfertigt!! On top noch die Getränke, überteuerter „Spaß „ :(. Der Service hat auch nicht gepasst, lange Wartezeit auf Getränke und nicht besonders freundlich:(. Das Ambiente ist ganz schön, das war es dann aber auch! Zum normalen was trinken gehen ist das Central in Ordnung, aber für einen weihnachtlichen Brunch absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Kenne die Location schon viele Jahre, muss jetzt feststellen, das Central lebt vom Charme vergangener Zeiten...... Mittags 14 Uhr zum Lunch, es war wenig los: Spaghetti, Pesto, Ruccola, Burata (fleischlos ) über 15.- Eur, Cheesburger knapp 11.- Eur, auch ohne Pommes derselbe Preis, als mit Beilage ?!? 1 Glas heißes Wasser mit 4-5 frischen Minzblättchen 4,90 Eur...? Cola mit jeder Menge Eiswürfel im Dezember...... ;-((( Ok, zentrale Lage, aber innen kalt und ungemütlich, brüllende viel zu laute nervige Musik, keinerlei Akustik-Dämmung, eine normale Unterhaltung war gar nicht möglich, schmutziger Boden und Tisch, Waschraum auch schmuddelig..... Wir fanden alles in Allem sehr enttäuschend, bis auf die junge Frau als Bedienung, die war nett & freundlich, aber es gibt im Umkreis ja jede Menge gute, günsigere und gemütlichere Alternativen. Hatten einen Avocado- und einen Lieblings-Burger, war beides sehr lecker und kam zügig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer gerne wieder.

Wahr seit langen nicht mehr da, der Service und das Essen, ist immer noch gut.

Sehr tolle gemütliche Location, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes und sehr freundliches Personal. Hier fühlt man sich wirklich wohl und willkommen.. Nicht wie z..B. Im cafe del Sol in Hanau wo man oft unfreundlich behandelt wird und man das Gefühl hat man ist als Gast eher lästig und nicht willkommen.

Also der Service war bisher immer gut und freundlich, aber heute wurde er nochmal übertroffen von der jungen Frau. Selten einen so zuvorkommenden freundlichen Service gehabt! Selbst ein quäksendes Baby im großen Kinderwagen oder ein neugieriger Hund wurden freundlich begrüßt ! Und ein strahlendes Lächeln gab es obendrein. Allein dafür kommt man schon gerne wieder. Das Essen - wie jedes Mal die Avocado Stulle - hat natürlich auch geschmeckt und ist sehr zu empfehlen :)

Innen ist die Geräuschkulisse zwar etwas laut, allerdings kann man sehr schön draußen sitzen, sofern es das Wetter erlaubt. Sehr nettes Personal! Sehr leckeres Essen! Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben dort zu Mittag essen. Die Burger waren lecker, aber sehr fettig. Wir hatten die hauseigene Limonade, die sehr lecker war. Das Personal war okay. Teilweise mussten man lange warten bis jemand kam.

Bedienung überfordert mit drei Gästen, aber ausgesprochen freundlich. Essen leider schwach.

Ewiges warten auf die Servicekräfte [mit einigen wenigen Ausnahmen] . 20 min warten um zu bestellen ist definitiv zu lang. Angeblich ist die die Zapfanlage von Weizenbier defekt und man bekommt nach längerer Wartezeit eine furchtbare Blörre. Das bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur. Ne muss man nicht mehr hin.

Sehr nettes Personal. Essen auch sehr gut und preislich angemessen. Man kann schön draußen aber auch drinnen sitzen. Immer wieder gerne

Wir waren zum Frühstück da. Das Marktfrühstück hatte nichts wirklich vom Markt und war recht dürftig. Das pochierte Ei auf Toast, da war das Eiweiß auch noch zu viel roh und es war viel zu viel Rucola drauf. War einfach nicht lang genug im Wasser. War nicht wirklich ein positives Erlebnis und war einfach nicht schön angerichtet. Das Obst auf den Pancakes war nicht mehr frisch: Himbeeren innen verschimmelt, Blaubeeren matschig und schrumpelig. Waren auch nicht warm. Die Preise sind echt zu hoch für so ein Frühstück. Woanders zahlt man 5 Euro mehr und hat ein Buffet/ Brunch. Beim letzten Mal hatte ich ein Omelett und das war von unten abgebrannt. Wollte eigentlich nicht wiederkommen. Das war der Versuch 2 und war auch nicht wirklich toll. Man sollte in der Küche schon drauf achten, wie was zubereitet werden soll. Die Frische der Lebensmittel ist wichtig. Die Eier waren wohl auch nicht so frisch, denn nun habe ich Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Draußen sind ei Deutung zu viele Raucher. Schade, dass man das nicht trennen kann. Positiv: die Bedienung war lieb, schnell und aufmerksam. Auch unangemeldet konnte man noch sich hinsetzen. Die Getränke waren ok. Es war recht leer morgens. Die Cold Brew Getränke sind lecker.

Das Essen geht Richtung convenience. Nudelgerichte sind hochpreisig und nicht wirklich gut gemacht. Am unverschämtesten war jedoch unser Frühstück. 5 hauchdünne Sucuks bekommt man hier für 1,80 €! Als ob dies nicht reicht besitzt Central die absolute Frechheit, Leitungswasser für 6,90 € zu verkaufen! Sowas gehört in meinen Augen verboten und verdienen auch keine Daseinsberechtigung mehr.

Ich war heute mit meiner Oma im Central Café. Wir haben 20 Minuten gewartet und es kam keine Bedienung. Da kamen noch Personen rein , die später gekommen sind, kamen aber früher dran. So ein schlechter Service hatte ich noch nicht gehabt. Uns sieht das Central Café nie wieder

Wir waren draußen frühstücken und mussten zum neue Getränke bestellen und später für die Rechnung mehrfach ins Lokal gehen und nachfragen. Die angekündigten gerösteten Walnüsse wurden vergessen und es gab nach Nachfrage dann 3 ungeröstete Nüsse aus einer Tüte…ohne Entschuldigung. Geschmeckt hat es aber.

Ist mein absolutes lieblingsrestaurant. Ich esse dort öfters und man kann auch kleine Snacks dort bekommen für den kleinen Hunger. Die Lage ist super. Drinnen ist es sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und abends wenn es schon etwas dunkler ist, hat der Innenraum eine schöne Atmosphäre. Auch außen werden mit Kerzen und den Laternen auf dem Marktplatz für ein schönes Ambiente gesorgt. Die Bedienungen sind alle super nett und auch relativ schnell was Getränke aufnehmen und bringen angeht. Bei meinem letzten Besuch haben meine Freundin und ich etwas länger auf die Aufnahme von unseren Essenswünschen warten müssen, aber an dem Tag war es auch etwas voller, weil wir zu der richtigen Zeit da waren, wo es normalerweise mehr besucht ist als sonst an den anderen Tageszeiten. Das Essen ist top, ich liebe den Chicken Burger mit Curly Fries, Sour Cream and Lime und Guacamole, NUR ZU EMPFEHLEN!! Das Central wird immer mit einer meiner liebsten Restaurants sein. Die Burger immer meine liebsten Burger und die Bedienungen einfach die sympathischsten, die mir je unter gekommen sind. Macht euch selbst ein Bild, ich verspreche euch ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht! :))
