The quality has deteriorated significantly over the years. I went there spontaneously last night. The gentleman at the door was very friendly. The man who took our order was the complete opposite! The waitstaff silently cleared dishes from the table, dishes were constantly falling on the floor, and the plates are now made of plastic. The restaurant is clearly geared towards large crowds; the ambiance is perfectly fine, clean, and tidy. The "live musician" was incredibly annoying, too loud, and not good at all – a real nuisance! At first glance, the buffet appears extensive. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes is poor. The fried noodles were bland/tasteless and soggy. The beef was too soft and bland. The chicken, regardless of how it was prepared, was tasteless, and the "Eight Treasures" were ashamed of being presented so miserably. The gyoza were dried out, and the sauces didn't help matters. The strawberries, grapes, and pineapple were unripe, while the bananas were overripe. The melon was actually okay, but the lychees were dry, and the oranges were carelessly sliced next to Jell-O cubes and tiramisu?! The chocolate fountain – the idea unfortunately didn't save the day. What a shame! The price-performance ratio is no longer right. A few years ago, you could eat well and cheaply here AND get a smile from the staff – those days are clearly over!

The service was terrible. I almost asked the server if I could offer him a spoon so he could experience some friendliness. Every other guest received a calendar as a parting gift, but we didn't... perhaps because we didn't tip him for his rudeness. On a Saturday evening, starting around 8 pm, the fried food wasn't replenished—no garlic shrimp, no salmon, no fresh garlic. When I asked about it, the server took the bowl away with a nasty look on his face. Eventually, they didn't clear the plates either. Once upon a time, never again at Asia Palace Hanau! I have never experienced such unfriendly service anywhere else. I apologize for ever having been a customer there!

How is it possible that people are standing at the buffet in winter jackets? Or that they're already eating food at the buffet? That's not what I call hygienic. Of course, the owners or staff aren't to blame, but something definitely needs to be said. Simply disgusting. We will never go there again!!!

An absolutely disastrous restaurant experience. Totally overcrowded, chaotic, and completely overwhelmed. The buffet offered hardly any selection, and most of the food was lukewarm, some of it even cold. The behavior of many guests was appalling: people were wearing sweatpants, children were being placed on the buffet to load up food, and other guests were standing right at the buffet eating. Completely unhygienic. The staff stood by and did nothing, never intervening once. The freshly prepared food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Empty and used plates piled up on the table for ages. When we tried to address this with the staff, we received only a curt reply: "Leave it, we'll clear it." – without any understanding or apology. Service, organization, and hygiene were shockingly low. A restaurant that operates like this urgently needs to rethink its procedures. This was definitely our last visit.

We had a reservation for New Year's Eve at 8:45 pm (ticket price €49 per person, plus drinks). Unfortunately, the evening was a huge disappointment due to the completely inadequate organization. The main points of criticism: Mass processing: Since hundreds of guests were apparently admitted simultaneously for the second seating (I estimate around 500 people), there were extreme bottlenecks. It was difficult to get to the buffet; getting more food or sauces in a relaxed manner was impossible due to the enormous queues. Overcrowding & atmosphere: The restaurant was hopelessly overcrowded. Getting back to our seats involved constantly pushing through the crowds of guests and staff. The noise level was extremely high, which completely killed any festive atmosphere. An absolute no-go was the fact that children were given firecrackers by their parents, which they then threw directly onto the floor in the restaurant – right next to other guests' tables. Value for money & billing: We ended up paying around €160 for three people (including two drinks each). When we bought the tickets, we were promised a reduced price for the child, but on-site we had to pay the full adult price. The quality of the food and the ambiance were completely disproportionate to the price. Conclusion: We got the impression that the only goal was to maximize profits. A truly enjoyable Asian meal in a festive setting should be something else entirely. We will definitely not be attending such events there again.

Good food and plenty of portions! I can't understand these negative reviews, and we've been eating there for over seven years. The food is really good and plentiful. It's possible that one or two dishes are sometimes almost empty due to high demand, and everything is freshly cooked and served. If something isn't right (and sometimes things can happen), it's taken care of immediately. We went to Asia Palace for New Year's Eve 2025/2026, and it was a great evening.

They should really be replaced; at those prices, a few lamps should be included. What's absolutely unacceptable: The cashier was very unfriendly. This was the second time. It was the same last year. Last year it was a woman, yesterday it was a man. I was just about to get the tip in cash when he threw the debit card receipt at me and left. No bill? Not a pleasant evening?

Not suitable, or only conditionally suitable, for parents/children! We were a group of eight, including three children under five, and although there were free tables to our left and right, we were forced to sit at a table meant for a maximum of six people. This was extremely inconvenient and clearly shows that children are tolerated at best, but not actually wanted. Especially since they aren't paying full price at the buffet, they and their accompanying parents/guardians are treated as second- or third-choice guests. Therefore, the service only gets one star. Furthermore, drinks were offered far too infrequently, and empty plates were cleared far too rarely. In addition, the aisles in front of the buffet were much too narrow, so guests and staff were constantly getting in each other's way!

Perhaps the best restaurant where you can eat your fill of the food you love. A huge selection of prepared dishes, a huge selection of chilled products from which you can create your own signature and unique creation. A great place to celebrate events for people of all ages and preferences. Wonderful staff and robot waiter. The price is very affordable and the quality is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Matchingo needs a promotion!!!! Awesome place. I especially loved the awesome menus, which were glued to the table with superglue, as well as the huge selection of sushi, meat, fried food, etc. ... and of course the piccolinis, which tasted especially good with the sour cream cheese. Those shouldn't be missing at an all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. As for the atmosphere, I have to say it's cozy and the tables smell wonderfully of aged salmon.

I used to eat at Asiapalast several times a few years ago, and the food was very good back then, with a wide selection of hot dishes and friendly service. You had to reserve a table in advance, otherwise it was always full. Today it's completely different. We've been there three times in the last year, and the food was terrible every single time. It was cold, even the sauces, the quality has deteriorated significantly, the selection has shrunk, and the prices have gone up. I complained to the manager last time, but it didn't do any good. The problems are known, but they need to make some changes. We won't be going back and can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Asia Palast in Hanau is a large, impressively decorated all-you-can-eat restaurant – perhaps a bit kitschy, but overall very nice and definitely eye-catching. We didn't have to wait for a table, which was great. The buffet is huge and offers a wide selection: fried noodles, sushi, baked pineapple, various hot dishes, and a large dessert station with two chocolate fountains (white and milk chocolate) as well as plenty of fruit. Some items – like fries, chicken nuggets, or chicken fingers – taste rather cheap, but that's normal for such buffets. However, other dishes were really delicious, and the sushi is perfectly acceptable for an all-you-can-eat buffet. A particularly positive aspect: the buffet is constantly replenished, and you can have food freshly cooked to order. In conclusion: If you're expecting high-end gourmet Asian cuisine, this isn't the place for you. But if you're hungry for a large all-you-can-eat buffet, want a wide variety of choices, and appreciate a pleasant atmosphere, then this is the perfect spot.

We've been going to Asia Palace on and off until today. However, we won't be eating there again in the future. We were there about six weeks ago, and my 13-year-old grandson was with us then, just like today. He needs assistance when he uses the toilet due to health reasons. About six weeks ago, we noticed feces smeared on the armrests in the accessible toilet. We were disgusted and informed the staff. Today, my grandson needed to use the toilet again, and the feces stain was still on the armrest. I called the manager and explained the problem. He then told me that the toilet was only for disabled people. I found that appalling. Then he took a damp cloth and wiped the feces off. WITHOUT gloves, WITHOUT disinfecting it. And then he went into the dining area behind the counter without washing his hands. I won't be able to eat there again.

The visit to Asia Palast was a real highlight! The all-you-can-eat offering boasts a huge selection; the variety of fresh sushi was particularly impressive and delicious. The hot dishes were also very tasty and varied. The atmosphere is very, very nice – festive yet relaxed. Several birthdays were being celebrated during my visit, which further livened up the mood. **Restaurant Review** As a family of six, we regularly visit this restaurant, often accompanied by friends, which expands our group to up to eight people. The variety of dishes is truly impressive; there are days when the food is delicious and others when it is less so. It almost seems as if the mood of the chefs has a direct influence on the quality of the dishes. Another issue we unfortunately discovered concerns the service. The friendliness and commitment of the staff fluctuates greatly and also seems to depend on their personal mood. Some employees were not particularly helpful, which significantly diminished our feeling of being welcomed. Despite these shortcomings, the food is good overall, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. A recommendation for improvement is urgently needed to optimize the experience for all guests. Friendlier service would make a huge difference and could sustainably increase guest appreciation.

This was my second time there. The food at the buffet was always cold/lukewarm. The meat was cold. When the waitress brought our plates to the table (the food was freshly cooked), I asked her to take my empty plate. She then told me to put the plate in the middle of the table and stack it. Her response was very rude (I think it was the manager). Unfortunately, the friendliness was poor. The food was lukewarm. The current fans at the dinner buffet aren't exactly safe for people.

I recently went to this restaurant with friends and was left with a very unpleasant aftertaste. I'd been here before and everything wasn't that bad, but last time we didn't like it at all and were left with a bad feeling. We originally arrived and wanted to pay the second rate right away, knowing that as a large group we would need time, but the waitress interrupted us, wrote the bill for the first rate, and left immediately without giving us a chance to explain, demanding that we pay immediately. To continue staying, we were told we had to pay the next rate, which meant we had to pay an extra €20.90 on top of the €14.90. We also didn't know about this before paying and wanted to have an ice cream, but of course we weren't allowed to, but the table next to us did the same, and the waiters didn't make any claims against them. Furthermore, the waiters ignore visitors as much as possible. As soon as we arrived, we wanted to ask where we could sit and had to search for five minutes before someone at least answered our question. The same thing happened throughout the rest of our visit: whenever we wanted to ask something, the waiter would answer with a yes, but would leave after a second without listening to us. Overall, the food is quite good, but the staff's attitude definitely leaves something to be desired, and we would have appreciated a bit more respect for the customers.

Unpleasant waitresses who ignore customers, impolite. They treat you as if you are a swindler or a savage who will run away without paying. The restaurant's advertisement states that the evening menu on weekdays after 5 p.m. should include sushi - when we came there was no sushi, we were told to come back next week. Lots of customers, consumer goods. My stomach didn't hurt, some dishes were tasty.

Delicious food. When we ordered coffee we were ignored because the waitress didn't know what filter coffee was. So we ordered again, but when it didn't come we reminded her. Suddenly a double order of coffee came, and we were told a little angrily that we had ordered twice and had to pay for it. She said it was our fault

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The value for money wasn't really good. Some of the food was dry, and unfortunately, we personally didn't like it. The staff, however, were very attentive. Nevertheless, this will be our only visit there!

From 3 p.m. onwards, there was a good selection of dishes, and the food tasted relatively good. However, the service made the food inedible. We, a couple aged 55+, were harshly lectured by a waitress about how we should place our used plates on the table. Then a spoonful of salad remained in the bowl, and she loudly lectured us about how we should handle the food. We have never experienced such degrading behavior anywhere! We felt unwelcome!

I went to the restaurant with my daughter this afternoon. There was a large selection, but unfortunately the food was only slightly greasy and lukewarm. The hygiene was very poor, with flies all over the food and the tables completely dirty, sticky, and covered in crumbs. My daughter left a bite of kimchi on her plate, and while cleaning up, the waitress gave us a nasty lecture about how to behave. We were deeply shocked by the way customers are treated here! I've been to Asia many times, and it's considered good manners to leave something on your plate there. We definitely won't be coming to this restaurant again!

Today I went out to dinner with my wife. It was the worst nightmare we've ever experienced. The food was extremely bad, the cleanliness left much to be desired, the staff was unfriendly, and the desserts were full of insects. I can't recommend it—even if the food were free.

I visited this restaurant yesterday. The food was beautifully presented and truly delicious—I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly; I didn't feel welcome. The cleanliness of the tables also left a lot to be desired. Overall, the food was excellent, but the way the guests were treated could have been much better.

We were two couples and wanted to order, but we couldn't choose; we had to take the same menu. It's all-you-can-eat: drinks included or not. We wanted to take a break and have a smoke, but despite offering ID, we were refused permission; we had to pay. After our meal, we weren't given any liqueur, and the cookies were thrown on our table. The food is really delicious, but the service is beyond bad. If you come with children, you are treated so badly. You are sat at the end of the room. The ladies who clear the plates are super friendly, but the one gentleman who walks around there greets you in a bad mood and doesn't even pay any attention to you. It really doesn't get much more unfriendly than that.

We went there for dinner today with nine people. They were friendly on the phone, but when we arrived, we were moved three times from one seat to another. The staff were extremely rude, not at all welcoming, they seemed more annoyed that we were coming for dinner and were not at all child-friendly! At the end, they even politely asked us how much we wanted to tip. Never again from this place.

Some of the mussels were spoiled, and you could taste it right away. The sauces in some dishes were made with so much starch that they sometimes resembled jelly in consistency. The service was incredibly rude when paying because it took 15 seconds longer with Apple Pay, and then they threw the receipt on the table without even saying goodbye. We won't be coming back 🤝🏻

Rude and full of flies. A waitress almost forced us to have a drink less than three minutes after we were seated; otherwise, you'd have to pay 1.50. Maybe that should be noted. The same waitress was snippy the whole time.

We went there yesterday with friends (including three children) for a goose dinner. The goose was very good, and the other dishes on the menu were also delicious. But what really stands out is the friendly, warm, and attentive staff (every single one of them)! Thank you so much for the wonderful atmosphere, the delicious food, and the lovely evening!

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The wait for our drinks and appetizers was clearly too long. These were served together with the main courses after 40-50 minutes, which not only affected the enjoyment of the meal, but also negatively affected the overall impression. Another negative point was that the “well-known” seafood bowl, which we had previously noticed as a special recommendation, could not be found on the local menu. When we asked, we were told that this does not exist. However, a little later we noticed that a table next to us was being served a seafood bowl. This left us with a feeling of confusion and disappointment. A particularly unpleasant experience was that we found black, curly hairs on our dish while eating, even though the waitress was wearing gloves. This led us to suspect that the hair came from the kitchen itself, possibly from the chef - which further added to our disappointment with the hygiene. When we spoke to the boss about these incidents, he was friendly but not really attentive. Instead of addressing our concerns, he just smiled and quickly said goodbye without seriously pursuing the conversation. This left us feeling like little attention was paid to us as guests. The preparation of the food was also not fresh as expected. Rather, it seemed like the food was warmed up rather than freshly prepared. Unfortunately, this damaged the quality of the dish. Positive comments: Despite the negative experiences, there are some positive aspects that should not go unmentioned. The ambience of the restaurant is traditional and stylish, creating a pleasant atmosphere. You generally feel comfortable there. Particularly noteworthy is the female waiter who offers excellent service. She is very friendly, attentive and knows how to take good care of customers. However, it was a shame to see that she had to run the store largely alone, even though there were four employees in total. The food (four bites before my hair fell out) even though it wasn't freshly prepared, still tasted good and the price couldn't be beat. Overall, however, our visit was unfortunately disappointing, as the shortcomings mentioned in combination with the long waiting time and the lack of response to our complaints greatly spoiled the overall impression.
