In the same place for many years. Nice place. The owners are Spanish, but unfortunately the waitresses don't seem to speak Spanish. Always full, reservations are an absolute must. Delicious food at reasonable prices.

One of our favorites for decades. Consistently good quality without any frills, good prices. Typically Spanish.

You have to try it. My absolute favorite is the garlic chicken.

Langostinos were raw and musty 🤢🤮 and out of 7 people only 4 people got their food.. the other 3 meals were simply not taken in at all 😡 unfriendly staff, the waitress then said what she could do if we didn't get any food!!!! Never again !!!!

Food is OK. Unfortunately the service was poor and the staff were quite unfriendly. I said hello twice when I came in, was looked at but didn't get an answer back. We reserved for 6 people and then came with 7. The waiter then said “they reserved for 6 people but came with 7 pff” Although there were enough places. We didn't let that get us down and didn't want to let it ruin Mother's Day. The starters came quite quickly. Then came the main course... Only 3 of us got it at the table and the rest of the people had to wait almost an hour for their food. When the others had already finished their food, the others had already lost their appetite. I then went to the front and wanted to have and pay the bill for the food and drinks I had eaten. We were therefore banned from the house and exposed in front of all other guests. We didn't get a single apology or anything. That's why this was the last visit to CEDO. and Mother's Day was ruined for us, thank you :)

The dishes are very good! However, the staff is constantly OVERCHALLENGED We gave the store a chance today for the third time and the last. Despite saying “Hello” twice, we weren’t even looked at. It could be due to stress... We thought. Unfortunately, the starters all arrived at different times, so eating together was not possible. By the way, the olive oil from the tapas shrimp is simply passed on and not freshly prepared for each guest. The garlic pieces and the chillies are naturally burnt and almost black. Of the 5 main courses, 2 were only prepared after an hour and one was completely forgotten. When we were hungry and wanted to pay and leave, the staff put us down in front of all the guests, as if it were our own fault. We could have asked where the food was. Even the restaurant manager attacked us and quickly banned us from the house. ZERO CRITICAL! Although we as guests remained very calm throughout the whole situation. Anyone who wants to eat here needs a strong skin! We wouldn't have come back without a house ban and Spanish insults. Certainly.

VERY RUDE STAFF, waited over 1 hour for food and half of it was forgotten and partly inedible, as prawns still tasted and smelled raw and musty.

The selection of Spanish cuisine is very limited. Tapas mostly only with fish, unfortunately. The prices are OK, the service is friendly. There again? Rather not!

If you want to experience a typical Spanish ambience, then a visit to CEDO is a must. Food very good. Not a fancy restaurant, but a quaint Spanish bodega.

I go to eat in CEDO for the tapas. Without a reservation, things can sometimes get tight. You have to look for a parking space in the area. CEDO is also good for drinks at the bar, for example Cuba Libre.

Came on a recommendation and were disappointed. The chicken was dry and hopelessly overcooked. Overall, unfortunately only below average. Don't have to have it again!

The food was medium warm to cold. We were forgotten. I didn't find the food visually appealing either. It was too expensive for what I got to eat. Staff super nice though

The food was delicious but the waitresses were unfriendly and unfortunately there is no barrier-free toilet and we were not informed of this even though we made a reservation as a wheelchair user And we had to wait a long time for food and drink and I even had to remind the waitress to order

Once and then never again! The opening times are not correct as they say online and the food is also very tough and not well salted. The service is also very unfriendly and unprofessional.

A real institution for Spanish hospitality for many years. Very friendly staff and delicious food at affordable prices. Only the parking situation is not so good.

The tapas are highly recommended and the ambience is simple but that's what makes it feel good.

We have been eating there regularly with the family throughout the year for years. Unfortunately, the food and the warm service are declining significantly. Unfortunately, the menu isn't even supplemented with a few more tapas. 2/3 of the dishes are fried and some are inferior foods. The two ladies in service don't feel any Spanish esprit. The Cedo is still well filled for the weekend with German guests who have forgotten their culinary palate on the Schinkenstraße in Mallorca. Otherwise, the positive reviews are an absolute mystery to me!

Very loud acoustics and therefore very lively on the one hand and exhausting on the other. Quality of the food is rather basic. Suitable for the price. Only cash is accepted. Didn't convince me compared to other Spanish restaurants.

If you go to CEDO, you shouldn't expect any fancy dishes, no decorated plates and no exclusive ambience. Instead, you feel like you've been transported to a simple restaurant right in Spain, with everything you could want if you wanted to eat authentically. A very fish/seafood-heavy selection of tapas made me happy, everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. For some people this may all be too simple, too bland on the plate and not sophisticated enough - for me it reminded me of many professional stays on the Iberian Peninsula. simple, cheap and good! It should also not be forgotten that CEDO is originally a restaurant run by Spaniards for Spaniards. It couldn't be more authentic. Over 50 years of existence say it all. The CEDO is definitely worth a visit, more will follow!

España Olé! One of the best Spanish restaurants in Hesse. Traditional house with flair, loud as it can only be in Spain. Great sangria and better fish croquettes.

Oldie restaurant in Hanau Worth a visit but anyone expecting a Spanish culinary highlight will be disappointed Location:This location is part of the inventory in Hanau. Cozy and close to the city. Cozy and atmosphere Food: The food is not a highlight. There is a lack of spice and fresh products. The seafood is frozen and without the pep you would expect from a Spanish restaurant. The fish was dust dry and lacked zing. The fries don't taste particularly fresh. The tapas were finely prepared and still tasted ok. Unfortunately I wasn't picked up from dinner. Service: Zack zack and the gentlemen weren't particularly enthusiastic. Not very attentive. Cleanliness; Toilets were ok and tables were clean Price. Absolutely fair prices thumbs up Conclusion: If you don't have high culinary expectations and want to enjoy the pub feeling, then you've come to the right place. Despite everything, we liked it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️good star with points deducted for the quality of the food and setbuce

Essen ist leider eher billig als günstig. Pommes hatten zu wenig Salz, schmeckten dafür aber etwas nach altem Fett. Auf Oktopus war extrem viel Paprikapulver. Würde dort nicht wieder essen gehen. Service war soweit in Ordnung

Seit über 30 Jahren die Topadresse in Hanau wenn man spanisch Essen gehen will. Weiter so! Auf jeden Fall komme ich wieder. 🙂👍

Leider schmecke es uns allen überhaupt nicht. Die Freude war erst groß da man von ausgehen müsste, dass bei einem Spanischen Restaurant es auch frischen, guten und schmackhaften Fisch gibt. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Die Tapas waren nicht besonders und waren teilweise nur lieblos in Tomatensauce ohne jegliche Raffinesse oder Gewürz serviert. Gewürz und Herzblut fehlte irgendwie komplett. 0815 und schnell schnell trifft es am besten.

Meine Frau läuft von Offenbach nach Hanau nur um bei diesem Lokal spanisch zu essen 😃, wirklich seh gut.

Wie immer wieder sehr lecker und auch etwas selten angebotene Speisen. Mein Lieblingsessen ist Pulpo, egal ob galizisch der mit Salzkartoffel. Die Fischplatte ist ein Muss für alle Fisch Liebhaber. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

Bedienung spricht kein spanisch, auch die Freundlichkeit dürfte besser sein, für spanische Tapas befriedigent.

Jamón Serrano und Käse als Vorspeise, sehr lecker, auch die "boquerones"!! Leider hat mich die Paella vom Geschmack her sehr enttäuscht. Preise ok. Toiletten sahen sauber aus, aber es hat sehr gestunken.

Lecker, locker, wenn viel los ist muss mann halt etwas warten, aber ist ok.

La comida comparada con otras grandes ciudades de Alemania está muy bien igual que el precio, personalmente me gusto, no estamos en España señores estamos en Alemania, la próxima vez al que no le guste que vaya al Lidl a la semana Española...

Essen ist einfach und gut. Sehr solide. Preiswert. Die Auswahl könnte etwas besser sein. Wirklich schade, dass es hier keinen schönen Außenbereich gibt, vor der Tür sind zwar einige Stehtisch, aber leider an einer Viel befahrenen Straße. Bei unseren Besuchen war der Service in Ordnung, unsere Fragen zum Essen wurden freundlich beantwortet. Wir kommen wieder. Edit: waren mal wieder da, konnten draußen sitzen, es wurde etwas gebaut und das Ambiente verbessert. Essen, Getränke und Service sind gleichbleibend gut.

Das Essen war so super lecker. Preis Leistung kaum zu glauben. Wir hatten merluza, Hähnchen in Knoblauch, albondigas und aioli und 3 Bier für 41 Euro. Muss ich bald wieder hin.

seit den 1970er Jahren - für mich der beste Spanier außerhalb Spaniens. Sehr lecker die Aliloi und die Kroketten, sowie sämtlicher Fisch. Da hier häufig der Salat bemängelt wird: er ist halt eben spanisch und passt so in dieser Form zum Essen. Der etwas ruppige Umgang der männlichen Bedienungen hat Tradition.

Schneller und freundlicher Service, aber das war es dann auch schon. Sowohl die Tapas als auch die Hauptspeise waren geschmacklich fad und ohne Pfiff. Wer etwas authentisch spanisches sucht, ist hier falsch. Schade, aber das war es für uns.

Coole zwanglose Atmosphäre, seit Jahrzehnten gleichbleibend gute Küche. Es gibt auch traditionelle preiswerte Speisen (Hackfleischbällchen, Kutteln) wie auch Klassiker (Paella, Pulpo etc). Best in town.
