Very tasty food and cocktails. Staff friendly and accommodating. Outside with heating. We'd love to come back. 👍

We had reserved a table for a large party for a baptism. Now it turns out that the restaurant is on holiday. We were not informed about this and it is not on any platform, nor can you get this information on the AB. Luckily a friend noticed that the restaurant was closed, otherwise we would have been stuck in front of the closed door!!!!

The tapas are very good. It's better not to order the cocktails from the economy menu because then there is very little alcohol in them. The employees are very nice. It's a shame that it's never cleared away and that you have to order each individual Kölsch separately by pressing the radio button.

The food was good, the paella was a little underseasoned. The steak was very good Unfortunately the service was subpar. The previously advertised ringing of bells at the table could be avoided if the service staff were distributed better so that there are no waiting times of almost 1 hour for drinks. It's a shame actually. The location is good, but the seating outside is sometimes very cramped.

I haven't eaten so well in such a pleasant atmosphere for a long time. The prices are fair and the cocktails are super delicious!

Was hands down the highlight of my trip through Europe it was tucked away in a beautiful location with staff that couldn’t do enough for you. As an Irish tourist I only tip when the service and quality of food is good and my only regret was that I didn’t tip more

We wanted to watch the European Championship game yesterday, and although there were still two tables available, we were told that we could go again if we hadn't made a reservation. A few beer tables would have solved the problem. Watching football and having a drink is not possible. It's a shame that we got this far in Zülpich. We will therefore no longer visit this restaurant after the European Championships.

We discovered this charming place during our stay in Zülpich. Super nice service, cocktails were very tasty, great value for money. Pizza and Pinsa were jammi! It was easy to sit outside as there was a nice outdoor area. The highlight for cold days was the heater under the table! Thank you for everything! Shorty, Enni and Britta

Hey, it's us, the group of four from last night (from Düren). Were the last ones at the table ☺️ Once again a big thank you for your hospitality. We were satisfied from start to finish. tl;dr: It's a shame that the ambience and service were inadequate. The food was good. There were five of us in this restaurant and we reserved a table. Per: The food was delicious (I shared tapas with 2 others). The three of us shared a tapas platter, which was supposed to be for 4 people. There was also a greeting from the kitchen: Pimientos de Padrón, rolls, salsa and aioli. The prices are moderate and not overpriced. I left with €20 including tip, the tapas and 2 drinks. The location of the restaurant is in a kind of dead end. Here you can give the children some exercise with a clear conscience. Cons: The service was rather poor. There were panels on the tables to call staff. That worked so mediocre. We waited forever for our meals: 70 minutes passed between ordering and serving. The restaurant wasn't packed. We thought it was too long. The waiters made no attempt to clear up after the meal. Everything was full of bowls and we had no space. It was loud: Extreme noise level, I could barely hold a conversation. When the football game was streamed over the speakers, it was no longer possible to have a normal conversation. I don't go out to eat just to be blasted by stadium noise. The food was not plentiful: As I said; we had ordered 3 tapas for 4. That would have been too little for 4 people. That also explains the moderate prices.

Absolute recommendation. Delicious tapas with lots of choice. The cocktails were very tasty and nicely served, also very large. The waiters are absolutely friendly and attentive and respond to ideas and suggestions immediately. The ambience is very pleasant and nicely decorated, the lights are dimmed after 10 p.m. and the music is not excessively loud. We're looking forward to next time

Were here to drink cocktails, The swimming pool tasted like milk, When we went into the second round we ordered a mojito and a caipirinha. The Mojito tasted like liquid water ice and was more like syrup with water, which is exactly what the Caipi tasted like. Absolutely not fresh and just too sweet. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with cocktails and is absolutely not a recommendation from me.

First time there, with other Spaniards many times. Very tasty tapas, good selection, the steak was also very good. A small drawback: it could have been hotter, the bowls were only lukewarm. Cocktails great too!

We were passing through for one night in Zülpich. We chose this restaurant by chance via Google. We were immediately impressed by the friendliness and the ambience. The menu can be accessed via mobile phone, but is also made available in paper form. If you want to order or pay, you can press the respective button on a sign at the table. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the meat in one of the dishes was a bit tough, but everything else was really good. As a greeting from the kitchen there was bread with aioli and small pimentos. We were surprised by the pleasant prices. Drinks ranged from cocktails, from 10 p.m. the restaurant becomes a cocktail bar until beer is available. Toilets were clean. We ate well and enjoyed our stay.

First super nice on the phone and then a very warm welcome. Thank you for the little vacation from everyday life with delicious food and drink and great service in an excellent atmosphere.

We had a wonderful evening at Catalonia. Great conditions, friendly and accommodating, we were really well looked after.

This evening (April 13th, 2024) we went to Catalonia with our friends to have a nice evening. We then ordered a Kölsch first. Everything was fine until then. When we decided to drink an Aperol Spritz, we ordered that too. It also arrived relatively quickly. However, it was anything but sparkling, the Aperol only tasted like water and had no carbon dioxide. From this we could also conclude that sparkling wine was also missing. When we told the waiter that there wasn't enough Aperol, he said he would take care of it. When we expected to get a new drink, unfortunately we only received a glass of pure Aperol with the request that we have to split the glass between us. We did this too. Unfortunately, some of the Aperol went wrong because we didn't get a suitable container for it. Unfortunately, the Aperol still didn't taste any better after that. When we told another waitress, she offered us a shot on house. Nevertheless, the staff was very nice and helpful. Conclusion from this. Order a beer instead of something else. :)

Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker…wenn es irgendwann am Tisch ankommen sollte! Enorm lange Wartezeit sowohl bei Getränken als auch beim bestellten Essen. Die Nachfragen nach dem Essen bringen leider auch nichts. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Simply great, the food was delicious, the service was well organized thanks to the “radio remote control” at every table and you can also sit outside in the late evening hours as there are heaters in the tables. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

The food is quite good, but the cocktails are a disaster. If I want to drink juice, I order one. Far too thin and unfortunately you can't even detect the presence of alcohol. And a cocktail also needs a piece of pineapple, cherry or something else fruity - but definitely not Haribo stuff. 🤦🏻‍♂️

It's a shame the restaurant was closed despite a reservation.

So first of all it looks modern locally but when we walked in no attention was paid to us. We waited 20 minutes before we were even given the cards. Before we could say anything or order a drink, the cellar ran away. After 15 waves (the waiter saw us) someone came and gave us our drinks and food. We waited more than 40 minutes for a pizza and salad. So I can't recommend this place at all. You can also eat kebab there and get more value for your time and money. Half an hour after eating I just have a stomach ache and feel so sick. Was home and took out all the pizza.

We were here for the first time today. We reserved a table immediately after the store opened. When entering the restaurant there was an unpleasant smell of toilet stones. We were escorted to our seat and asked for drinks after about 30 minutes. After another 15 minutes the drinks arrived. The food took 75 minutes to order and the place was empty when we ordered! The service at the table left a lot to be desired. We weren't asked if we wanted something more to drink or anything like that. The food was really very tasty and the price was right too. Unfortunately it just took far too long.

This restaurant offers much more than just good food. I've been there with friends before and enjoyed it. It's also very nice to be able to stay there until night after eating

We've eaten there at least 5 times in the last 12 months and have to say, in contrast to the other times, we were very disappointed with the food this time! New chef? New ingredients? No idea. 3 out of 6 dishes had already been eaten on previous visits, and it was very tasty back then! But this time it was a real shame!

Great location and delicious food.

The food is awesome. The eyes order more than the stomach can handle. The selection of tappas is also great and my steak is amazing...but it doesn't come when football is on, then a relaxed dinner is impossible...then the restaurant becomes a pub...NO GO for MY standards...We're coming anyway again, but this time without football......

We were there for a Christmas party from work, the food was delicious and the cocktails tasted really good, all in all it was an incredibly great evening and we had a lot of fun. The service was very quick even though the restaurant was very busy. The only point of criticism I would have was the volume of the music; it was a bit difficult to hold a conversation at times, but that didn't matter.

I'm excited! The tapas are absolutely amazing! And the cocktail offers round off the entire package. Great atmosphere for a tapas bar. We would love to come back!

Super schön eingerichtetes Restaurant Super leckeres Essen, die Tapas sind der Hammer👍Wir werden wieder hingehen. Es ist der perfekte für einen gemütlichen Abend zu 2. oder auch für ein entspannten Abend in einer Gruppe mit leckerem Essen. Auf dem Foto ist zusehen, Tapas für 4 Personen, dazu bekommt man noch leckeres selbst gebackenes Brot und leckeres Dips.

Oh my gosh.... I don't have enough stars for this restaurant! My husband and I stopped for food with our 4 month old baby at 23:00. Mohammed told us by phone to come in, even though they'd close soon after we arrived. I am sick with a cold and nursing my son and asked if anything on the menu was healthy. The kitchen staff had left for the day and all the options were fried... no issue for Mohammad and Bader! They went to the kitchen and privately cooked me baked chicken salad. It was DELICIOUS. This kind of personal service and care and attention is not often seen in Germany and I feel so grateful! Thank you Mohammed and Bader. You saved a tired mom and hungry baby from a tough night!!

Wir waren mit unserem Team dort essen und Cocktails trinken, war ein lustiger und schöner Abend, die Servicekräfte waren freundlich und der Chef war auch super drauf. Wir waren satt und vom Preis her war es auch absolut in Ordnung. Ich hatte Tappas Menu mit Cocktail und Nudeln mit Garnelen, dazu noch ein paar Cocktails und einen Tequila. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, super lecker. Aber wenn wir gewusst hätten, wie viel das alles ist, hätten wir uns die Hälfte gespart 🤣🤣🤣 Ich habe mein bestelltes Essen jetzt mit nach Hause genommen, und nicht nur ich 😂, weil ich durch die Tapas schon satt bis oben bin. Die sind übrigens ein Traum.

Mein Mann und ich waren hier essen und waren begeistert. Preis Leistung ist super! Das Essen (Tapas und Pinsa) waren frisch und sehr lecker. Besonders begeistert waren wir jedoch von der Bedienung. Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit (ich habe eine Unverträglichkeit), nahm er sich die Zeit uns den Aufenthalt schön zu gestalten. Es ist ein lockeres Ambiente, was uns jedoch nicht stört. Wir kommen definitiv nochmal hier hin und wirklich, ganz großes Lob an die Servicekraft!

Update 17.12.2023 mittags Die Bewirtung war wieder super und das Essen lecker. Das Catalonia ist wirklich eine Bereicherung für Zülpich und die Region. Update 18.11.2023 abends Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen hier und sind wieder sehr gut bewirtet worden. Die Gerichte waren schmackhaft und zudem ansprechend angerichtet. 01.11.2023 mittags Wir haben das Catalonia zum ersten Mal besucht und waren vollauf zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker, die Getränke gepflegt und der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Ganz bestimmt kommen wir wieder.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, guter Service, tolles Ambiente. Das Essen war top, frisch, heiß und vor allem sehr lecker! Von den Tapas angefangen über das Steak und den Burger bis hin zu den Getränken! Es gab sogar einen kostenlosen Glühwein mit frischer Mango, seeehr lecker.. Sehr lecker, top Service, etwas längere Wartezeit bis das Essen fertig war - wurde aber vorher auch so kommuniziert. Immer wieder gerne 👍

Wir waren zum Geschäftsessen mit 4 Personen da und es störte eigentlich nur, das die Eingangstür lange aufstand (trotz kalt draußen) und die Musik zu laut war (besonders ab 22:00 Uhr). Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Speisen reichlich und vielfältig, sowie sehr schmackhaft.

Wir waren jetzt zweimal innerhalb von einem Monat hier zum Essen. Das Essen war gut und nett angerichtet. Die Gerichte kamen auch bei 10 Personen soweit zeitgleich an den Tisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich, muss aber noch ein paar Grundlagen lernen - aber das wird.

Sehr sehr freundliche Bedienung, das schon mal vorne weg. Cocktails sind klasse, Ambiente nett. Die Küche war sehr bemüht und man sah, dass das Essen mit viel Herz zubereitet wurde, ganz ohne Zweifel. Die Tappas waren sehr gut.die Paella, war leider keine Paella, reichlich Garnelen und Muscheln drin, aber es war mehr ein scharfes Curry geworden.aber hat mit der spanischen pealla nichts zutun gehabt, leider . Die crema catalana war mit liebe dekoriert, aber leider hatte es nicht das geringste mit einer echten crema catalana zutun. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel war sehr gut und reichlich. Aber geschmacklich waren nur die tappas wirklich "Spanien", was sehr schade ist, wenn man aus der Region kommt und ein bisschen Heimat "essen" möchte,.. , dafür dann leider nur 3 Sterne . Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Ps: eine Fahne Kataloniens darf eigentlich nicht fehlen :D :D

Tolles Restaurant mit großer Auswahl an Tapas und natürlich auch anderen Speisen. Sehr große Cocktailkarte und die Cocktails sind auch wirklich super lecker und preiswert dazu. Donnerstag ist Cocktailtag für 4 € pro Cocktail wirklich sensationell. Ich werde in Zukunft häufiger hier mit meiner Frau einkehren.

Danke für einen wirklich svhönen Abend. Man sollte etwas Geduld mitbringen, aber das Essen belohnt einen dafür.

Wir waren schon häufig dort, und die ersten Male sehr zufrieden. Beim vorletzten Besuch im Sommer war unser Tisch doppelt reserviert und wir mussten drinnen sitzen. Auf unser Essen haben wir 2,5 Stunden gewartet und als es dann endlich auf mehrmalige Nachfrage serviert wurde, war das Fleisch noch roh. Nochmal warten wollten wir nicht und haben dann ein anderes Gericht bestellt das schneller geht. Den Nachtisch haben wir als Entschädigung geschenkt bekommen. Da wir bis zu diesem Besuch immer positive Erfahrungen dort gemacht hatten, sind wir nach einiger Zeit erneut hingegangen. Leider wurde uns dann ein falsches Gericht, das wir nicht bestellt hatten serviert, auf die Reklamation ist man nicht wirklich eingegangen und später haben wir für das Gericht bezahlt was wir gar nicht erhalten hatten. Das servierte Gericht war preislich um einige Euro günstiger. Da wir jedoch keine Lust und Zeit für erneute Diskussionen hatten, haben wir den Betrag bezahlt und beschlossen dort nicht mehr hinzugehen. Ähnliches ist wohl kürzlich auch Bekannten von uns 2x passiert. Wirklich schade, weil es dort wirklich mal richtig gut war.

Sehr guter Service vom Chef persönlich. Das Personal ist noch leicht konfus hin und wieder aber alles in allem top.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal da und das auch nur weil sie durch Freundlichkeit super tolles Essen und fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei uns gepunktet haben. Alles kommt frisch auf den Tisch, ohne wenn und aber, jeder Angestellte hat ein superfreundliches Lächeln im Gesicht. Hier fühlt man sich einfach nur toll aufgehoben. Selbst wenn es mal etwas länger dauert, wird man sofort mit einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit der Küche belohnt, was woanders nicht üblich ist. Wir sind absolut begeistert werden es zu unserem Stamm lokal buchen und freuen uns, dass sowas überhaupt noch in unserer Nähe hier ist. Wir sind aus Euskirchen und fahren gerne nach Zülpich !!! Auch ein großes Lob an den Chef seltenst, ist mir so ein freundlicher und toller Mensch begegnet Hut ab.

Bedingung freundlich und aufmerksam. Dauert schon mal etwas länger bis das Essen serviert wird. Dafür sind die Portionen wirklich ausreichend und das Essen wirklich lecker und gut.

Zufällig hier gelandet, weil unser Lieblings Spanier in Köln geschlossen hatte. Sehr leckere Tapas und Cocktails, umfangreiche Auswahl, auch an anderen Speisen. Total netter Service von Chef über unsere Bedienung bis zu den Jungs an der Bar. Da hat unser Lieblings Spanier nun mächtig Konkurrenz bekommen. Vielen Dank wir kommen sicher wieder !!! Und demnächst trinken wir einen Hierbas 😎

Es gibt Heizungen unter dem Tisch, so dass man nicht friert. Die Einrichtung ist sehr passend. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und schnell. Sie beraten gerne. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Für Glutenallergiker finden sich einige Gerichte auf der Karte. Aus jedem Bereich sind glutenfreie Alternativen vorhanden. Ein Cocktails sind super.

Im Sommer ist es dort draussen sehr gemütlich. Unter anderem unter einer Markise. Mit Gas beheizt. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, einige der Angestellten sind sehr auf zack. Das Essen ist lecker, einiges, jedoch für Kinder auch sehr scharf.

Spanische Tappas, Burger und Steaks. Aber auch Salate, Pinsa und Pasta. Frisch gezapftes Bier und eine gute Weinauswahl. Das Personal ist freundlich nur manchmal etwas langsamer und etwas unkoordiniert in den Abläufen. Aber das ist gar nicht schlimm. Es war richtig lecker. Ein kleines Manko: Die Garstufen der Steaks kannte der Kellner nicht. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Somit war mein Steak Medium Well. Ich wollte es Medium Rare. Bin sicher das klappt beim nächsten Mal.

Wenn man Tappas liebt dann bist du hier am richtigen Platz. Authentisch ehrlich und ohne schnick schnack. Moderner schneller und super freundlicher Service. Wenn du Sport begeistert bist eine Goldgrube, ich habe aber ein ruhiges Plätzchen auf der für jeden Tisch einzeln beheizten Terrasse gefunden.

Schönes Ambiente und gutes Essen mit Urlaubsflair. Es ist eine durchaus solide Tappasbar. Für ca. 10€ bekommt man Snacks für den kleinen Hunger und für 20€ kann man hier auch gut satt werden. Die Auswahl an Cocktails ist gut. Für durchschnittlich 7€ bekommt man alle möglichen Longdrinks und Cocktails. Drei wesentliche Kritikpunkte unseres Besuches gibt es trotzdem: 1. Das Servicesystem ist eine Katastrophe. Es ist darauf ausgelegt, dass jede angestellte Servivekraft innerhalb von einem Tag angelernt sein kann. Man hat einen Serviveknopf am Tisch, der eine Meldung an die Servicekraft schickt. Die Servicekraft kommt mit einem Tablet und kann ohne eine Nummer, keine Bestellung aufnehmen. Daraus entstand folgende Situation: Ich wollte ein Cuba Libre / Rum-Cola, den ich in der Karte nicht gefunden habe. (Er stand dort zwar unter Cocktails, ich habe aber nur unter Longdrinks gesucht). Zwei Servicekräfte waren mit diesem Wunsch völlig überfordert. Sie können die Drinks ohne Nummer nicht machen, "weil das eine Cocktailmaschine mischt, die die Nummer braucht". Es war wirklich ein sehr aufwändiger Prozess, bis ich irgendwann zu einem Getränk, das aus einem Drittel Rum und zwei Drittel Cola bestand, gekommen bin. Das mal eine neue Servicekraft die Karte nicht kennt, kann passieren, aber es ist schon merkwürdig, dass niemand vom Personal in der Lage ist, so einen einfachen Wunsch umzusetzen und ggf. beim Chef, der auch anwesend war, nachzufragen. 2. Auch sehr merkwürdig war, dass es nur so von Fruchtfliegen über unseren Köpfen wimmelte, sobald das Essen da war. Vermutlich ein Zeichen von mangelnder Hygiene in der Küche. 3. Der dritte Kritikpunkt war die Musik. Im Grunde eine ganz gut gemischte Playlist, in der dann aber, innerhalb von einer Stunde, drei Mal "in the air tonight" von Phil Collins lief. Auf die Frage, ob man die Lautstärke etwas reduzieren könnte, damit man nicht so schreien muss um sich zu unterhalten, bekamen wir die Antwort, dass ab 22:00 Uhr vom Restaurant-Modus in den Bar-Modus gewechselt wird. Das Konzept kann man ja verstehen, geht dabei vermutlich auch darum Laufkundschaft an einem Freitagabend anzulocken, aber in dem Lokal saßen außer uns noch 4 weitere Personen an einem Tisch, die sich ebenfalls unterhalten haben. Da könnte man bestimmt auch einen Kompromiss zwischen Kindenwunsch und Betriebskonzept finden. Alles in allem ist das Lokal also ganz okay, aber nicht professionell.

Exzellenter Service, top Zutaten und alles frisch zubereitet. Mediterranes flair mit echter südländischer Gastfreundschaft. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Essen (Tapas und Pasta). Super freundlicher Service. Die Online-Reservierung hat auch super funktiniert.

Super leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Ob Tapas ,Pinsa ,Burger ,Paella oder ein wirklich gutes Steak , hier schmeckt einfach alles prima. Die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir waren gestern rein zufällig im Restaurant und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis bisher unschlagbar. Auch wenn unser Weg etwas weiter ist, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und diese Lokal weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren letzte Woche das erste mal da und total begeistert. Super leckere Speisen zu echt fairen Preisen. Wir hatten 6 verschiedene tapas, die alle sehr lecker waren. Zusammen mit dem leckeren Brot, das vorab gereicht wurde, waren wir zu zweit auch super satt. Die Cocktails sind sich sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr nette Bedienung, sauberes und modernes Lokal, also rundum gelungen. Heute Abend geht es wieder dort hin, wir freuen uns schon!
