The food here is delicious and the location is wonderful. I wanted to come in from work on my lunch break, but after waiting an hour to be served, I had to take the food away. They also don't accept credit cards, which is absurd for a place like this.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures but we had a wonderful lunch here today, ordering from the menu and specials. We were very happy with both food and service 🙏

A very nicely decorated restaurant. We visited it several times and it was always great! The service was super professional and the food was always very good. There is something for everyone and stylishly prepared :-) Highly recommended.

Delicious lunch at a reasonable price.

Food and location good. But the service is just none. You are treated extremely unfriendly and condescending and previous agreements regarding the process were not adhered to. If you want to feel welcome as a guest, you definitely have to avoid this place!

We were there for lunch with a large group. Price-performance was perfectly fine and the waiters were all very friendly. However, when it came to pay and the boss came forward, things became very unpleasant. Extremely unfriendly, presumptuous and almost mocking, he refused to let everyone pay for their own food - "for that he could hire someone extra who doesn't do anything other than collect money all day long." Only the drinks ordered with it could be paid for individually - i.e. amounts of €5-6. Unfortunately, card payment was not possible, which actually posed a problem for some. It's not just the absolutely nonsensical argument, but rather the boss's loudly short-tempered behavior that leaves the place with a bad memory. A majority of those present initially said that they would like to come here again. After the event, everyone involved agreed that this place cannot be recommended under any circumstances. Small side note: when we received the bill (afterwards) we found out that the small amount of water per person, which we had to order in advance, was not included in the lunch menu. That's how you make your money.

The Brasserie am Henkelpark offers an excellent culinary experience in a beautiful location right next to the park, surrounded by tennis courts. The elegant and cozy ambience, combined with a creative menu that highlights seasonal and fresh ingredients, makes every visit a pleasure. The attentive service and the wonderful terrace with a view of the park round off the experience perfectly. An ideal place to dine in a stylish atmosphere and enjoy nature. Absolutely recommended!

Everything is nice here. Location is great. The lady who served us was super friendly. Food is already good. But this “we only take debit cards” always gets on my nerves. In this price category, where you can quickly get over €100 in the evening and then do without your credit card, I don't understand it.

First on the positive side: beautiful location, pleasant atmosphere, good quality food and great taste Unfortunately, the service was very negative: drinks were forgotten, individual meals were delivered late and the highlight was that the acceptance of a voucher was refused several times. On other visits, for the reason that only the entire amount had to be spent, on this visit because it was not already stated when requesting the invoice that you would like to redeem a voucher. As a guest you SHOULD have said (as it was emphasized again and again) that the voucher should be calculated. They were incredibly unfriendly towards us and assumed that we had been the same all evening. Never again!!

Nice location, right next to the park and the tennis courts. The terrace is nice and big and shady. The food is of high quality and the lunch menu is very good value for money (13.50 euros for starter and main course). Tastes very good, professionals are at work here. Service attentive without being intrusive. Special requests were also addressed. All in all very good!

The club restaurant is also right next to the tennis courts. Very nice terrace, very attentive staff, good but somewhat expensive menu.

It was super beautiful here. The food, I had salad with bread, was really tasty. The young service person was very nice, competent and helpful. I can highly recommend it here and will definitely come here again

Very idyllic restaurant, nice atmosphere. However, no parking spaces. Food okay. But the service is subpar. We have rarely experienced such an unfriendly waiter. A pity...

“The Brasserie” is an excellent restaurant that I would recommend to everyone. The food was extremely tasty and one portion fills you up. The service was great! Very nice waiters who take the time to serve the food. The ambience was also outstanding. You feel very comfortable, both inside and outside. I would recommend the brasserie to everyone as it is an outstanding restaurant!

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this restaurant. I had the most delicious Italian pasta 🍝 asparagus and salad 🥗. Also special attention from the owner. I could say was it was the most amazing and delicious restaurant I have been in Germany. 🇩🇪

We were guests in this restaurant. We were delighted with the warm welcome and attention from the staff. The food was superb. We recommend for lovers of refined taste to stop by and try the superb dishes.

Recently I had lunch in the brasserie with three people. I had the Black Angus burger with sweet potato fries - very tasty and I would theoretically recommend it to others. What struck me as negative, however, was the following --> I was able to overhear a conversation between the boss and an employee. The tone towards the employee was aggressive/very condescending and not at all appreciative. I expect an upscale restaurant like this to treat both the guests AND THE EMPLOYEES in an appreciative manner!!! This behavior is completely unacceptable!!!!!

Everything was perfect from the main course to the dessert. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating. 👍 We will be back It's a little more expensive but worth it 👍👍👍👍👍

Finding a suitable location for the funeral coffee after the funeral in the South Cemetery on a Monday was very difficult because everything was either available or no longer available. I got the tip to look at tennis clubs. That's how I found the brasserie at Henkelpark. We were very impressed by the sample lunch and so we booked this restaurant for 30 people at very short notice. Everything went smoothly and our guests were very satisfied. With 12 people we stayed for dinner. Everyone was very impressed with the food, the friendly staff and the service. Thank you very much, there is a clear recommendation!

We often went to the brasserie and, especially for lunch, the price-performance ratio was great! We always enjoyed it too. But: it feels like it has become more and more impersonal lately. The staff isn't exactly unfriendly, but it's close to it. It's just not fun anymore. The patron likes to turn his back on you and grumble to himself... No one needs it...

Great restaurant in the middle of the countryside next to the tennis court with a large terrace and well-furnished interior. Clear map and small additional day menu. Food tastes great. Very friendly and attentive staff. Clear recommendation.

Das Essen sehr gut. Leider war das Personal alles andere als zuvorkommend. Wir wurden teilweise regelrecht missachtet und das obwohl wir eine recht Große Gruppe waren.

Schöne Örtlichkeit, bei der man auch draussen sitzen kann. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet ubd ist optisch sehr hübsch angerichtet. Die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam.

Die Speisen waren gut zubereitet und von guter Qualität. Es gab eine angemessene Auswahl an Gerichten, die verschiedenen Geschmäckern gerecht werden konnten. Die Geschmackserfahrung war insgesamt positiv. Die Lage der Brasserie am Henkellpark war in Ordnung. Sie befindet sich in einer schönen Umgebung und bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Allerdings gab es keine herausragenden Merkmale oder Besonderheiten, die den Ort besonders attraktiv machten. Die Preise in der Brasserie waren gehoben. Sehr leckeres Essen. Mittagstisch super und wirklich günstig.

Einfach wunderbar, insbesondere der Beefburger mit denn extrem knusprigen Süsskartoffel Pommes

Bei uns ist besonders die Terrasse bei schönen Wetter angesagt. Der Preis für ein Glas Rotwein beginnt bei 8,50 € .

Die Lage ist schön, daß Essen beim Italiener schmeckt ! Leider sind die Preise unverhältnismäßig gestiegen, außer bei den Menü-Angeboten an den Wochentagen. - Aperol Spritz 9,50€ - Wein 0,2 Ltr. 6,50€-8,50€ - Bier 0,5 Ltr. 5,50€ - Menü Mo.-Fr. ..........13,50€ Etwas zusätzliche Soße zum Menü berechnete man mir mit 3,50€ !! Das ist UNVERSCHÄMT und in meinen Augen kleinlich ...hat man das wirklich nötig ??? ...einer Gäste-Bindung ist das sicherlich nicht dienlich !!!

Direkt neben der Tennisanlage. Aufmerksamer Service. Schöne Speisenauswahl. Lachs hatte meinem Geschmack nach weniger durchgebraten sein können und es hätte insgesamt etwas mehr gewürzt sein können.

Gutes Mittagessen angemessener Preis geschmackvoll eingerichtet sehr schönes Lokal das leider nicht zum alten Tennisplatz passt. Die Portionen fand ich etwas klein.

(Erstbesuch am 18.02.2023) Die Empfehlung unserer Freunde ließ uns heute Abend hier erstmals zu Gast sein. Das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis können wir bestätigen, aufmerksamer Service rundete den angenehmen Abend ab. Auch, wenn an diesem Fastnachtssamstag sehr wenig Gäste anwesend waren, „durften“ wir die späten Letzten sein, ohne uns gedrängt zu fühlen. Dafür ein nachträgliches Extra-Dankeschön!😊😊 Jedenfalls gehört Die Brasserie jetzt zu unserer „Liste“.🙋🏼‍♂️🥂🙋🏼‍♀️

Kleines aber, feines Restaurant mit einem übersichtlichen Angebot lecker zubereiteten Speisen.

Das Essen ( Mittags) war sehr gut. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme gerne wieder.
