Casa Mia in Rostock

The only good thing about this evening was the food and the privacy (second but involuntary, due to the non-existent service) We have rarely experienced such poor service that doesn't even deserve a star. In the reception area we sat against the counter and we were sent upstairs to ask if there was still a table available. Unfortunately, we first had to look for the service employee in the upper area and didn't get a friendly word out of his mouth the entire evening. After we got our food, the employee was never seen again, so it was not possible to order drinks or even dessert.

Kicked out because it was too warm. Very rude. Bie again

We ate very well, it was absolutely delicious, very friendly staff. Beautifully set table. Price-performance ratio is consistent. Will definitely come back

Stopped here for lunch on a day trip up Warnemunde. Service was friendly and the restaurant itself is nice inside. The staff were welcoming to our baby son and provided a highchair for him. Food was good and they have a children’s menu if you have older kids. We sat inside because it was chilly that day, but the outside terrace looked very nice to sit and watch the world go by. Good drinks menu and all is reasonably priced.

Wanted to have lunch with my wife and grandson (4 years old) today. What caught our eye from the outside was the balcony seating on the first floor. The place was completely empty. Nevertheless, we wanted to take a seat. However, this was denied to us by two unfriendly staff members. Apparently it would be too narrow at the top. A friendly solution was not even sought. From my point of view, they wanted to continue chatting and not climb stairs. It's a shame that you always come across listless staff who prefer to send guests out with a snippy, arrogant "goodbye" rather than look for a solution. But maybe the place wasn't so empty for nothing.

Friendly, courteous staff and delicious food

We were sitting at the table when a somewhat portly waiter came past our bicycle cart and panted. Same thing on the way back, panting again. We asked if he had a problem. Instead of politely asking if we could move the car a little differently, this man continued to complain that we shouldn't talk to him from the side. The nice waitress explained to us that this is the boss. Service seems to be a foreign word. We actually wanted to eat, but somehow we forgot.

Unfortunately very unsympathetic service, loud misogynistic and political conversations among the employees that you couldn't ignore as a guest. The food wasn't particularly Italian with average taste. The drinks contained too little carbon dioxide. We were told “the mixer taps do this on their own, there is no other way” Service bad, food not really tasty either, edible but for the relatively high price you would rather not eat it. All around tourist rip off… We weren't even told goodbye, that speaks for itself

We went to dinner at Casa Mia without a reservation. At first we were irritated by the many additional costs, for example for changing the side dishes, containers/packaging for uneaten food... Our chosen starters were okay, but the main courses were not good value for money. The portions are sufficiently large. However, the quality of the dishes did not meet our expectations of Italian cuisine. Service was good - courteous, friendly & quick.

So the food was okay, the restaurant is very nice, but the service (older gentleman) was simply subpar. Only when there was a tip (my cousin paid, I wouldn't have given any) did he thaw out and notice us. What's more about this restaurant is that this review was already written once by a guest who was there that evening and the restaurant deleted it. As if that wasn't enough, he was so blocked that he can no longer write a recession... unbelievable!!! If as much energy were invested in service as in deleting and blocking critical recessions, guests would be helped more. So just accept criticism and learn something from it. Let's see how long my recession lasts here and whether I get blocked too. (there are also other portals) 😉😉😉

Unfortunately, my review of Casa Mia was blocked via Google because the owner doesn't want to read my experiences like that, even though I experienced this situation. I've always been a guest there until now because I'm basically satisfied. The question remains for me, why do you use Google? My impression as a guest is actually not desired.

Casa Mia is highly recommended In bright sunshine we got 7 seats on the terrace. The great food and the great ambience made our trip perfect. Big praise to our waitress 👍 Rarely have such great service been served We'd love to come back

The food and ambience are fantastic. Unfortunately, the service on the day of our visit was apparently not in a good mood. Despite the moderate number of visitors - so it couldn't have been due to overload - it took forever for the drinks order to be taken. So we could at least include the food right away. Unfortunately, the delivery of the drinks also took a long time. This made the wait for the food a bit dry. On the other hand, when the remaining food was then taken away, the bones that had already been collected were put back into the food under the mashed potatoes. These were an unpleasant surprise that could have ended dangerously! Maybe it was a boycott by the employee who consciously wanted to badmouth his employer. Who knows.

Of the 10-day vacation in Warnemünde, we went to CasaMia for dinner every evening for 8 days and it was always absolutely great there. Delicious food, very friendly and nice service, who also responded to all guest requests and made everything we asked possible. We felt very comfortable there, would like to come back and would like to recommend this Italian restaurant!!!

Service was ok, unfortunately the food was not. We had just been sitting for 10 minutes when the food arrived as ordered. Pork medallions were dry and set on one side. Salmon fillet was also dry and tasteless. Supposition…. Food is pre-cooked and heated up quickly. For the price you pay there you can actually expect more. We won't come back.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the restaurant. The waiter didn't let us go upstairs to the outside seats even though they were free. We were very rudely directed to other places on the lower floor. A reservation was not possible. The upper seats were not reserved but were not supposed to be occupied because the man from Cologne didn't want to serve on the upper floor. The bruschetta bread was soggy. The spaghetti was terribly bad and the sauce that came with it was definitely out of the package. The dish was actually inedible. However, later we had a very nice, female waitress. She explained to us about the staff shortage and apologized for the misery.

We were there for dinner with a larger group. The ambience is chic and the outdoor seating is also great. The staff was very friendly and had a lot of humor. The food we ordered came quickly and was super tasty. The portion was completely sufficient for an adult and filled me up well. I will definitely visit this restaurant again the next time I'm in Warnemünde. 👍🏼

A quick Aperol and a cucumber salad, we were very satisfied! The food we saw looked delicious!

The waiters are very polite and nice. What I don't understand is that the fish sold in dozens of restaurants and small boats by the sea are all from the freezer and probably do not come from this region. In addition, there is no smell of real fish in this region. I've never smelled a fried fish before. It's a long way from real fish on the grill and the taste of fresh fish. (Casa Mia too) Any menu items that are sold as salmon fish are most likely taken from the freezer. All the comments are; very tasty and very good... I think the king is naked. The quality of the fish and food is very low in a region by the sea and with a sea view. But the restaurants are full, the eater is happy, the seller is happy. Bon appetit

I have always eaten here when I am in Warnemünde. It's nice to sit up there and have everything in view. The gentleman upstairs is super friendly! Gladly again

Good food 🍝, pizza 🍕 is okay. Drinks relatively cheap. There are definitely better Italians, but here in Warnow you can sit very well, it's a little quieter on this side. The staff is very very nice.

We have been self-confessed Hanse Sail fans for years and have been guests at Casa Mia again and again for years. We didn't get any of the Italian flair and Italian hospitality here today. The food was average, the salad was sandy and not very creatively prepared. The obvious provision of balsamic vinegar and olive oil with the salad had to be requested; the bruschetta slices were very hard. Everything looked like it had been done hours ago. The chicken breast served with the salad was also still cold. And above all, where have the Italians gone? We are very disappointed and will definitely not come back with this Italian flair. It had more of a cloth from an Italian quick test restaurant, which is often even better. It's a shame that a piece of the excellent Italian cuisine/flair and hospitality that will still exist by 2023 will be lost.

We got a nice spot in the best weather without a reservation, which was very nice. However, I was more than very disappointed with the food. I ordered chicken breast with gnocchi and sugar peas. The food came very quickly. When I saw my food in that plate dripping with oil, I felt completely different. If you lift a sugar pea, the oil will drip down! Same with the gnocchi and the chicken! The prices are also very high. I won't come back again.

Service staff super friendly. Unfortunately the food was very bad. Please improve your dishes. Both dishes “penne saltimboca” and “penne salmon” were very, very bad. Penne seemed to have been the cheapest as they were falling apart. My dish “saltimboca”: too much oil, too much meat. Some pieces of meat were too small, some were huge, and the meat was dry. The dish had 0 taste. When it arrived I was disappointed because there was only a handful of noodles in it. I could cook this dish better if I had no food in the house and was hungover. You really need to work on your menu. The food was a real disappointment, although we didn't even have high expectations. The second meal “penne salmon”: sauce tasted like it came from the packaging. It's a real shame, we were looking forward to delicious food. Were very very disappointed afterwards

Underground, the male, older waitress is very unfriendly and fake. You feel very uncomfortable in this restaurant. Never again!!!

We had the "big fish soup" and gnocchi. Neither was outstanding. The fish soup was like broth with pieces of fish (mainly salmon). I imagined it to be spicier and with a little more oomph. So it's either a tomato stew or a creamy one. You could eat, but I wouldn't go here again. The Gin Berry was okay too.

Even without a reservation, we got a place for 6 people on Friday evening. The service was friendly and quick, the food was very tasty and served quickly and the prices were ok too. Even our dog was treated nicely. We were completely satisfied and can recommend the restaurant.

We wanted to eat at Casa Mia today... it wasn't full... no greeting, the menu was just thrown on the table... 3 waiters walked past us... one waitress seemed very annoyed, we did seemed like it was invisible...then they left again...a shame.

I was sent away by a short, stocky, black-haired waiter because I was sitting at a table for 6; there could be a larger group of guests coming. You could have sat with me too. Unfortunately it was the only table in the sun. Opposite in the shade there were still a lot of tables free. I should take Pkatz there. (The new guests could have sat there too) Unfortunately it wasn't very warm that day, so I would have been cold there and didn't want to sit as I had recently had pneumonia, but I had to go hungry. I have never experienced something like that. Luckily, there are many restaurants with friendly service in Warnemünde. Casa Mia is no longer one of them. Anne Marie Schiemann

An absolutely top Italian restaurant. The food is great, great selection, good value for money and very friendly service. We didn't even think about it at first. Then we tried it and were thrilled. We were there three times in a row. The selection is huge and everything is absolutely delicious. No matter whether pasta, pizza or meat dishes. Absolute recommendation.

Sitting nicely in the sun 🌞, the two of us ordered 3 starters (vitello, prawns, goat's cheese) it was perfect and delicious in between, plus Vino rose and Aperol..super nice service staff, enjoyed it..it can only get full marks give, gladly again 😊

We were there for lunch today and had an absolutely fantastic meal. Super nice staff, fast service and the food was delivered quickly. I had the zander fillet with chanterelles and my mom had the cod plate, both are highly recommended. I've never eaten such good mashed potatoes, the pikeperch butter tender, absolutely top. Prices reasonable.

We were there for lunch last Saturday with 5 people. We were very looked after and the food was great. We had 2x plaice fillets, 2x pork medallions and a salami pizza, everyone was very satisfied and had enough. The drinks were also tasty and served quickly. We will be back.

Stopped in here after being rejected from another restaurant on the street. The service was great and the food was even better! The Casa Mia pasta was amazing and I will lily have dreams about it tonight.

Had to return a dish. Unfortunately, the error was then looked for in a discussion with the guest. I don't know that from restaurants in this price category. A pity.

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the service. We weren't greeted. Even though they saw us, they went straight in and then stood at the bar. I then asked where we could sit, and there was an inappropriate answer. We made the right decision to leave the restaurant.

We were here for the third time in two months and this time we invited our Swiss visitor and my mother. Everyone was completely satisfied. The Mediterranean dishes with fresh ingredients were freshly prepared and simply delicious 😋 Of course you have to bring a little time, but with this ambience and the view of the Warnow you can enjoy a glass of wine and good company. Ultimately, we like to come back because you feel welcome as a guest, even if the service staff obviously have their hands full, everyone is always very nice and friendly. Kind regards to the entire team and thank you for calling us a taxi. Our guests really liked it too.

Still a great location, unfortunately the prices are completely outrageous and don't do justice to the quality of the food: some of the fried potatoes are still raw, the fish is lukewarm. . . Food comes to the table just 10 minutes after ordering, that says it all - what a shame!

Despite the tourism, there is a great atmosphere and you can relax a bit here. At the top of the terrace you have a nice block and a nice place to sit. Since it is always busy, it is best to reserve a table in advance. The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly.

We ate here twice on vacation and ate fish instead of pizza and pasta and twice it was very tasty and the staff was super nice...highly recommended

We often come here when we visit Warnemünde! Unfortunately the boss was so impossible today that he didn't even let me go to the toilet with the children (I wanted to pay for it)! This is absolutely impossible! I asked really nicely too! We will probably look for another favorite restaurant!!! I'm really angry about this!!!!

The ambience is very nice. We sat on the 1st floor. The service at the table was very good. The soups came from the kitchen lukewarm. My burger for over €20 was a disaster. The burger patty, a quickly thawed piece of something that wasn't even properly fried, didn't taste good to me at all. I expect more quality here! Not recommended in any way. The spaghetti with shrimp was good. Despite good service, restaurant not recommended!

Ohne Vorbestellung sofort Plätze bekommen für 4 Personen. Leider waren die Nudeln nicht richtig heiß und die Bedienung hat keine Miene verzogen. Kein Lächeln, nichts nur platonisch abgearbeitet. Beim Service erwarte ich mehr. Geschmacklich, war das Essen leider auch nicht der Hit,es fehlten jegliche Gewürze. Also lieber ein Fischbrötchen am Stand, als hier für viel Geld essen gehen.

We had a spontaneous meal there last night. We sat upstairs and had a wonderful view. The waiter was super nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable there. The food was great. Had plaice fillet with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. Really recommended…I would love to come back.

Eating is not possible at all. Liver is still almost raw. Squishy potatoes are still hard and everything is dry

At lunchtime a week when the temperatures are cool, just sit comfortably under the heater with two beers and two rose wine. The restaurant was sparsely busy, good for us, the service was attentive and quick. Prices okay... Gladly again.

We had lunch with a reservation for a larger group (10 people). The staff is nice and friendly. The menu is not very large, which I personally prefer. There is a selection of everything. Fish, meat, pasta, pizza Unfortunately all dishes were only lukewarm to cold. Roasted potatoes and kale are really not difficult to get hot on a plate. A pity. The bruschetta was great and the starter soups were also hot and delicious. The prices are cheap for Warnemünde.

We had a nice day, the sun shone beautifully, the atmosphere was great, we sat in the restaurant upstairs with a view of the harbor, it was great, the food tasted very good, we ate spare ribs and fried herring once, very tasty, just a little tip for the spare ribs You need a small bowl of water to wash your fingers, so we had to go to the toilet, which wasn't nice because you had to touch the door handle, but I would recommend this restaurant

I went there for lunch with my friend today. Service was great. Kind and courteous. So the young man (waiter) was really on the ball. The food was super delicious. Hot and delicious. Keep it up.

Nicht schmackhaftes italienisches Essen. Spareribs super zäh und fade, das Schweinefilet zu den Nudeln hatte Gulasch Charakter. Das Personal ist allerdings sehr freundlich.

This restaurant doesn't seem to cater to families with children...we were there at lunchtime last week with our son (6) and twins (3 months). The twins were sleeping peacefully in the car and we asked for a table for lunch. We weren't even allowed into the restaurant and were almost thrown out with the words "we don't have a free table." The restaurant, at least the part downstairs, was almost empty and we couldn't see any reservation signs on most of the tables. A group of 7 people met us outside who spontaneously wanted to have lunch there. When we asked, they said they didn't have a reservation. And, as we could see from outside, they were offered a table. We really thought we weren't seeing properly. Then you can be honest and say that you don't want a family with children, but don't claim that nothing is available and then offer a table to a group with more people. This is really bottom drawer!!! Thank God there are still restaurants around the corner that welcome families with children and are really happy about the children!

On the holiday Saturday we were looking for a restaurant where you could stop by without a reservation. We were lucky here and found the last available spot. The staff very nice and accommodating. The food also came relatively quickly. The taste was ok, but it didn't convince me to go back for a second visit. The ambience is great. You have a beautiful view of the river and everything inside is nicely furnished, very clean and inviting. Price performance is ok.

The food came just 5 minutes after we placed the order. The fish soup was cold and completely over salted. No fresh fish! The pike perch with a tomato-olive crust was fried in far too much oil and was dripping. The crust wasn't made from fresh ingredients but a ready-made brown mass that didn't taste like the actual ingredients. Very friendly staff, but that doesn't make up for the quality.

We had a really good meal here this evening and the service was great. Very nice ladies, you felt absolutely welcome. Thank you. We'd love to come back.

Essen war sehr gut Service sehr gut die einzigen Sachen die ich Kritisieren kann ist das Ambiente das wie ich finde nicht mehr ganz Zeitgemäß ist und die Preise bei manchen der Vorspeise fand ich ein bisschen hoch. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden und finde die 3,9 Sterne zum Zeitpunkt meiner Bewertung absolut nicht gerechtfertigt.

Völlig durchgefroren angekommen im Casa Mia. Der Rum war ja soetwas von Klasse (80%) sowie der Glűhwein mit Schuß. Es hatte geholfen! Das Ambiente ist auch toll mit Blick auf dem alten Strom! Der Dorsch mit Bratkartoffeln und der Senf/Specksoße war super lecker. Hm 😋 👍 Sehr nette Bedienung sowie sehr gute Beratung in Sachen Wein. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich hatte den Grünkohl Teller. Selbstgemachter Grünkohl, mit gut deftiger Speckeinlage, Kohlwurst & Kassler dabei, sehr lecker. Bratkartoffeln waren on-point. Ganz besonders möchte ich die aufmerksame & richtig liebe Bedienung erwähnen. Sehr guter Service! Komm gern wieder, trotz anfänglicher Skepsis bei 3,9 Sternen. (Stand 12/2023) Leute geht mehr essen & seid ein bisschen höflicher zur Gastro in den schweren Zeiten! 🙏

Sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant in einer erstklassigen Lage. Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.

Schönes Restaurant, direkt an der Warnow. Außen- und Innenbereich zum gemütlichen Sitzen. Mich haben allerdings viele Gerichte von der Zusammenstellung nicht richtig angesprochen. Aber alles hat es gut geschmeckt.

Das äussere, wie das innere Ambiente des Restaurants ist einladend und zum wohlfühlen. Der Empfang und die Betreung durch das Servicepersonal war durchgehend super freundlich, humorvoll und einladend. Jederzeit hat man das Gefühl der Gast zu sein, der im Mittelpunkt steht und gerne erwartet wurde. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir können das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Es war sehr familier ,Personal und das Essen war einfach nur super ,die Speisekarte hat für jeden etwas. Immer wieder gerne.Doris
