Once again we were allowed to stop in the Hinterholzstube and felt very comfortable. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was simply homely. We look forward to our next visit!

We celebrated a baptism here with about 20 people people and unfortunately I have to say everything was very complicated overall. Unfortunately, communication with the restaurant was very poor in advance. No response, no effort to call you back. We had to call several times a day so that we could even make an appointment for planning. You just felt overloaded. The service then on Unfortunately, the baptism day was also poor. With such a sum, which is consumed and also paid generously, we had hoped for more. The food was ok.

Today, the four of us wanted to enjoy a Black Forest restaurant experience, but Gasthaus Heuwies exceeded all our expectations. The first bite reminded us of "Grandma's" food. In this restaurant, there's no such thing as ready-made meals or flavor enhancers; everything is of the highest quality and mostly homemade. The hosts were very friendly and provided us with excellent service. Samples and a schnapps after the meal were not missed on this visit. Our expectations were exceeded in every respect, and we will definitely be back, despite the hour-long drive. Unfortunately, the RohrbachStüble is deserted, which is a shame because there are no signs pointing to this in advance. But you can at least refresh yourself with the chilled drinks provided! You can sit down inside or outside, but it's not particularly inviting. And you can use the toilets!

It's not a Hilton, but it's OK for an inn, I can only recommend it!
